A fantastic choice for staying in nice on a budget. The rooms themselves are comfortable, with a cozy bed and nice en suite bathroom. Rooms also come with safes to keep valuables secure. The staff are very helpful, whether it’s arranging a taxi on your behalf, providing beach towels, or storing your luggage on your final day after checking out so you can explore the city one last time without needing to carry your luggage around.

The hotel itself is located next to the Durandy tram stop, which provides an easy means of getting to and from the airport, as well as the very beautiful port Lympia. Additionally, the hotel is located close to the beach itself

Felt a bit like a hostel with the garbage and recycling in the hallway. This had also attracted fruit flies and somehow mosquetos, which kept making there way into our room even without opening the window.

This didn't seem to be a new problem either since there were several dead/squished mosquitoes on the walls and up very high.

This alone was very off-putting, and the doors had marks around the handles from people's dirty hands that I feel like would make a big difference if it was properly cleaned.

Staff was nice, location is great but the bugs would make me not stay again.

Great place for one night in Nice. Perfect location for getting around. Old Nice 10-15 minute walk away. Tram stop for the airport 5 minutes away.
The room was fine for one. It was clean but a bathroom type smell was coming from somewhere. The door to the hallway lets in a lot of light which bothered me ( might not annoy everyone). Not much in the way of amenities but kettle provided on request. Unfortunately I came back to find that whoever had brought the kettle left my room door open! But it didn't seem like anyone had taken advantage. Good for a brief convenient stay. Staff lovely.

Great staff and when you arrive late they leave specific instructions on how to get to your room and it’s pretty easy. I just didn’t love the fact that you have to go down to the first floor if you need to use the iron and bring with you your clothes.

The H33 Hotel is conveniently located in a very central part of the city which is a huge plus. The check-in was seamless, the room clean and comfortable. Walking to the old city, business centers, shopping district or the beach is easy and just a few minutes in any direction of the hotel. As a budget hotel, the H33 Hotel is a good option.

Lovely Balcony and Great Location

This hotel is in an excellent location, near Durandy tram stop and the Jean Medicin stop. Very close to the Sens restaurant which served the best dinner during my stay. Also next door to Eatsa, a truly great meal and La Popote for a great cafe au lait and pain au chocolat.

Although slightly tired grey decor, the staff were lovely, and the rooms very clean. Situated a 10mins walk from main shopping street, it was very convenient too. Room at the front had balcony but traffic noise, room at the back peaceful. Breakfast is available, cereal, pastries etc, but €14 seemed expensive.

This property looks much, much nicer in the images expedia shows. When I arrived, we were able to drop our bags early but the service was very minimal. When I came back later to check in, I got to the room and the floor was dirty and the desk was also dirty. This was not too big of an issue but not great. The walls are also extremely thin so you can hear every conversation and every door that is opened or closed. I then noticed that there were a lot of ants on the floor (we were on the fourth floor). I went into the bathroom to get some toilet paper to kill the ants and nearly cut my foot open on the tile floor because there was a large piece of the tile that was shattered and very sharp. The tile in the bathroom was painted over and was peeling off in certain areas as well which is not how the expedia images look. After killing most of the ants, I contacted the front desk and when they came up, they said they saw no ants. I told them that was because I had killed them all but still wanted them to spray around the room to stop the ants from coming in and they sprayed only on the one ant they saw. Long story short, this property is not like advertised on expedia and I would suggest staying anywhere else. Expedia was absolutely zero help when I reached out to them and made the whole situation worse. Ended up leaving and booking a different hotel for about the same price down the street that was much cleaner, had friendlier staff, and was quieter. Expedia Sucks.

There was no shower curtain and there wasn't a 24-hour attendant. I did find the staff helpful and kind. The bed was nice. I just don't think this was great value and hotels.com marketed it as a 4-star hotel. It was decidedly not that. Call it a 2- or 2.5-star hotel and my expectations would have been met.

The H33 hotel was undergoing some renovation during the time of our week long stay in May 2022 which is admittedly needed and it will be much nice after. This hotel is no frills which is expected at it's very reasonable daily rate. This is a perfect traveler and tourist hotel close to old city, the beach, and close to trams and trains. It's located in a great neighborhood and 10 mins walk to all the restaurants in old city. If you are looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel than H33 isn't for you, but if you want affordability combined with convenience and great location to explore Nice than this is a great option.

Partner couldn't sleep due to noise of extractor fan in bathroom which couldn't be isolated and vibrated through walls. No apologies by staff / chap on desk - was not interested at all.

Towel rail fell off wall fue to bodge fix with a wood screw. Good luck using the shower cubicle / curtain.

H33 didn't respond to any emails sent regarding late checkins, had to call in end and eventually got through.

End on a positive. At least the room was clean.

We're informed about how we can get into building and our room one day before, if we arrive after 8pm. We had no trouble.

Overall condition was good, however, room was quite cold and there was no additional blanket... AC was failed to warm the room.

A perfect choice for a budget stay. Excellent location, spacious room (with good ac) and very clean.
If you are checking in late it would be best to let the hotel know as reception is not manned after 6pm. There is an emergency contact number on the door but three missed calls later, we were still standing out on the street.

FAR TOO NOISY FOR ME.

The staff were extremely polite & helpful, directing us to places to eat and which tram to catch to the airport next day. The room was clean, the bed comfortable enough, but still too warm for me as the air conditioning wasn't strong enough. I did request a fan, but was told there was one available, but it wasn't very good. The room was much smaller than expected (the pictures online must be a larger room?). There is extensive roadworks being carried out. 18 months was mentioned by the receptionist. (please check this). Our night was constantly disturbed by recycling collection at 1:30am, noisy traffic all night and the roadworks and digging commenced at 7:30am. The door to the balcony kept coming undone and swinging open which increased the volume of the noise. We could also hear other guests moving about. We were looking forward to a nice relaxed stay in Nice prior to our flight, but unfortunately was ruined by the level of disturbance. less you are a heavy sleeper, I would recommend. you choose a hotel elsewhere. Such a shame as the staff were great and eager to please.

The location is excellent for getting around Nice on foot and we had a balcony on our room which was an unexpected surprise. It really added to our experience. The downsides are that the hotel is a bit tired and the rooms are small, but you should expect that given the low price. Hotels like this allow those on a lower budget to experience travel, not everywhere can be the Ritz! There was no kettle in our room which we really missed, although you can buy teas and coffees from reception.

Great base to explore city and local area, 15-20mins walk to bus stop in Port to catch a bus to Monaco or a bus stop to Eze Village also not too far from Port. Close to city centre/ old town and sea. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean, Super bakery 3mins away from hotel for breakfast. Despite cars making noise on the street we had a good sleep after all day sightseeing. I will be back again.

Basic room on a budget

This was a basic hotel, a bit dated (older furniture), and on the crowded side (small reception, narrow halls and lift).
The room was clean and the stuff was friendly. I didn't try their breakfast so can't comment on that.
I choose this hotel based on the cheap price and it's location about half way between the main train station (easy reach for day trips) and the beach.
It served its purpose: clean room on a budget with central location.

First of all the 2 receptionist ladies were really helpfull, providing all the information we needed. The hotel is well located and near the beach. In terms of the room, it could be a bit more clean. There was dust in a few places but we have cleaned it ourselves. The lift was really noisy as well which was a problem during the night. The breakfast was ok as well. It is €10 per person and we could eat as much as we like. There is not much choice but enough for us.

The hotel was fine. We arrived late so the key was left out for us. I had pre-organised this with the hotel. The room was clean, nice balcony, linen change every day, free wifi, 10min walk from the beach and Old Town area. The downside was that the hotel needed a bit of updating, the mattress felt a bit old, one of the chairs on the balcony was broken... We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it's a similar price in one of the nearby cafes. Overall the hotel was a good price and fine for a few nights.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting nice. The location is excellent I would recommend paying extra for a larger room with a balcony as this saved us a lot of money as we had breakfast or lunch here in the sun. Basic room but everything you need. Lovely staff

You're staying in a two star hotel - it's not the ritz! But for the money, it was great! The room was clean, the bathrooms were functional, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful!! (A real highlight!). The Hotel is walkable to almost every place you want to be. We had a great stay!

The hotel is in a great central location. Close walk to the train, beach and shopping. The bed is not the best. There's no box spring, just a mattress on top of a metal frame. Our main problem was that the window didn't stay shut and we got bit up by mosquitoes.

Great value for money!

We stayed at the h33 hotel for 2 night on a Easter trip to the Côte d'Azur and were very pleased with our stay! Sure it's only a 2 star hotel, but it offered everything we needed: the room was smallish but very clean and practically equipped and had a fresh and modern feel. Our room was facing the inner courtyard and we had an excellent night rest.
The location suited us well, easy walking distance to both the old town and main train station.
Note that the reception closes in the evening, but we contacted the hotel and they provided a code to enter the building and a way to get the room key without any problems.
We did not use the breakfast or other services, but we could leave the luggage after checkout until the reception closes in the evening, which was much appreciated.
Overall very good value for money, we would definitely consider coming again.

Except for the location and the nice staff, the hotel is old,the walls are thin, and the rooms are small. I can hear my neighbor making every single noise. My air conditioning was broken and the electronic door only locked 75% of the time. The hotel is overpriced. For a little bit more, I can get a better hotel.

Nice and comfortable stay

We stayed in this hostel for 4 nights.
I choose this hostel for its prime location. It is situated in the centre of town, 10 min walk from Nice Old Town and same from Beach
Bus stop is 2 min walk from hotel and TRAM stand (Massena) is 5-7 min walk.

Hotel was quite nice. The Lady at the check-in was quite charming and helpful. She told us about the Rose Festival dates in Grasse and gave us the map of the city as well as the information regarding all the places to visit.

We stayed in 2 different rooms
Standard Double : This room was a little small. Good for people with limited luggage. It had a small cupboard , a safe & table - chair. The W/C was quite clean and good. Although, the Standing shower TRAY was quite small but it was manageable. The bed was decent and comfortable. The room had split AC which was quite efficient. It also had a balcony with 2 chairs and table, if you wish to enjoy a cup of coffee / drinks under SUN in open, can do that.
Superior Double : This room was spacious than standard room in every aspect. More space to move around, spacious W/C, although shower tray was of same size. Similar to standard room, it had small cupboard , a safe & table - chair, split AC. And as said about size difference, this one had a huge balcony with 2 pair of table-chair and place to walk.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay and would recommend to anyone taking a leisure trip, who needs a decent place to crash at night.

When you first enter it is a little bit like a hostel, however reception were polite. Room was large with a large modern bathroom. For 45€ in the centre of Nice this hotel was excellent value. We didn't try the breakfast as there are plenty of cafes offering croissant & coffee for half the price. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the shopping center Jean Medicine.

You ahve to remember this is a 2 star hotel. The service of the staff is very good and they are ready to go that extra mile for you! The room it self was clean, but not that big. It had aircondition and all your basic needs was fullfilled. The hotel is 10 min walk from Nice-Ville train station, 1 min walk from one of the major street with shopping possibilities.

Cheap, clean, close to the centre = Excellent

The hotel gets a great rating from us (2 night stay) because there's no other way of staying this close to the old town for the price. Yes, it's pretty simple, but if a place is this far below market price then you know to expect small rooms, the odd bathroom squeezed in at a funny angle, etc. It was very clean and everything worked properly. Really good ironing facilities, which is rare (proper industrial steam iron in the laundry room, free to use). It is noisy if you leave the windows open (duh, it's in the centre of a city, most of the noise created by tourists which you are one of...), but the windows were very good and blocked the noise out well. Functioning air conditioning with remote control in the room. The internet worked and is quick and easy to log in to unless you don't know how to use your phone. There is no communal computer, which is normal, but there are places to use the internet nearby. There is also a lift for if you're too lazy and fat to use the stairs. The location is fantastic, 5 mins walk from the old town and the beach. I have no idea why people grumble and give poor reviews when they should have paid more to go elsewhere if they were looking for lavish comfort as a priority - it is clearly and unequivocally a budget hotel . Great staff, clean sheets, all round an excellent stay!

Overall it's a pleasing experience stayed in this hotel, nice reception staffs and clean room, location is very convenient as well. It's just our room is at second floor which opposite their breakfast dining place, so in the morning it's very noisy, but it should be fine if you are early bird.

One night in Nice

Accidentally booked the wrong days for vacation hotel and stayed here first night of vacation. I'm used to small European rooms and this was one of them. However, the desk was extremely small and the chair designed to support a 95# waif. Internet worked fine. Air condition in lobby, not in room. Room was hot. Shower head mounted on long side of rectangular shower forcing user to stand sideways from normal and making it very hard not to make a mess on bathroom floor. Dropped something that rolled under bed. Discovered lost cell phone cover and parts of some lost snack food from previous user. Didn't think the room was very clean and that confirmed it. If I didn't use for a one night stay to cover my booking error and had planned a multi-night stay, I would have checked out after one night.

I wish they had a room available for more of my stay in Nice, only got one night. I have stayed in 5 hotels and one hostel, if it had a mini fridge it would have been perfect! Very spacious, smelled great, and had designer towels, not the cheap white standard. Can't wait to stay again!

You get what you pay for

Pros: Air Conditioner, Lift, Location (If you want to be close to main shopping street), Quiet (if you get a room in the courtyard), Breakfast (if it comes included with your stay and you really love croissants). The woman at the front desk speaks great English and is knowledgeable. Cons: the Internet is super spotty- didn't work well for several days, and you have to log in every time you need to use it, which is a hassle on a phone, there is nowhere to use a computer nearby if you didn't bring one and need to check into your flight. We had to find an internet cafe. Location (if you want to be on the beach, look for hotels closer to the Promenade), Tiny room that looks like a dorm (it's just not very comfortable), there's one ratty blanket that we didnt want to use, the lift is every other floor, we got two little shampoo packets for five nights. I have no idea how this hotel got such a high rating from the other visitors. It's really bare bones, feels like a college dorm-room. If you just need a place to crash, it's not that bad, but more than a few days, and it's not pleasant. I'd have paid more for better.

H33 hôtel - close to old town & shopping districts

Nice and clean hotel, although our room's mat had a weird smell. Rooms aren't big, but our plan wasn't to spend holiday in the hotel, so it didn't matter. Hotel's breakfast was only ok, and I'd recommend to have breakfast in nearby Cafe L'Olympia instead.

Excellent hotel and great location for the price. Very friendly staff. Location close to train station and old town. I would recommend this hotel for people that are doing a lot of sightseeing and who just use the hotel to sleep. More than adequate and very clean and well maintained. Great experience.

The only reason I would stay at this \"hotel\" again is because of the great location and the friendly service. The staff were great and the hotel itself is within 3 blocks from the bus stops that we used to get around Nice and up to Monaco. The rooms smelled musty/moldy and the shower was terrible. The carpeting wasn't the best either, very dirty looking/smelling, but the sheets and towels were fine and i had no trouble sleeping at night! I guess it is true and you get what you pay for and we were attempting to stick to some budget. If all you need is a room to crash in, which is what we were going for, than this is it.

NO GUIARSE POR LAS FOTOS. Las fotos publicadas no reflejan la calidad verdadera de este hotel (mas bien hostel) es un edificio viejo que solo se refaccionaron las habitaciones aun asi las fotos muestran mucho mas de lo que en realidad es. El baño es viejo y pequeño. Fuera de la habitación el hotel está muy gastado. Tenia miedo del ascensor parecía que no le habían hecho mantenimiento en años. Esperaba mucho más por lo que me vendieron las fotos.

Correct dans l’ensemble

Hôtel très bien placé mais certains points sont à revoir. Le frigo disponible dans les parties communes est en réalité le frigo où est stocké le petit-déjeuner de l’hôtel. De plus, la salle du petit-déjeuner est extrêmement petite et le buffet n’est pas très grand. Autre point négatif : le prix du café (2€ pour un expresso à la machine qui se situe dans la salle du petit-déjeuner).
Au niveau de l’emplacement, l’hôtel est placé à environ 5 minutes à pied de la place Masséna et 15 minutes à pied de la gare.

Good stay. I appreciated the balcony, to have a beer on after beach ang late eavning. Its an older building so dont expect anyting else. But all worked good. Aircon was a pluss.
