What a great hotel, perfect for old or new town adverts in Nice. Super rooms with plenty of space and nice in room amenities inc. sink, hob, fridge and even a washing machine for those planning longer stays. You will want to bring earplugs but that’s a small price to pay to be close to the action.

The mezzanine room was roomy enough to accomondate 4 of us. The convenience of havingna washing machine was ideal. The close proxomity to the beach. Saleya market and restaurants was convenient. Even thiugh hotel is right next to the vey busy square, you dont feel that when you are inside. The staff were always at hand to he helpful. Love Nice. Lovely and quaint town. Idyllic scenery.

Location of this boutique hotel was great. Easy walking to the local restaurants, cafes and 7 minutes walk to the huge shopping strip. The bakery downstairs served us fresh croissants, pastries & coffee for breakfast, which were delicious! Cleanliness of this hotel and friendly, helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Major drawback is the location being too close to a square so it’s extremely noisy at night. One night the noise didn’t die down until 2 am.

The area around the hotel is grimy, the street in front of entrance in particular- not the hotel’s fault though.
Location very convenient to Opera tram station (2 min walk) and Gare Thiers station (~25 min walk or tram then 2 min walk).
Cours Saleya market 2 min away which is great.
Housekeeping ok.
Front desk very nice and responsive.
Elevator a plus for luggage.
Lighting in bath very dim.
Strange uncomfortable plastic chairs in dining area
Electrical sockets badly placed and not enough of them.
Some noise from square at night to be expected, nothing terrible, earbuds took care of that.
AC worked very well.
Microwave oven was a nightmare to figure out- even the front desk person had a lot of difficulty with it when we called her to show us how to use it
Overall ok, between a 3 and a 4 star.

There were restaurants and a beach within a 5 min walk.

The second bedroom was a loft and our son loved hanging out up there by himself.

The hotel’s location was unbeatable — right in the heart of everything, a definite 10/10. Once inside, it was hard to believe how bustling it was outside, thanks to excellent soundproofing. Our third-floor room was accessible by both lift and stairs. Throughout our stay, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Both the hotel and our room were immaculate.

Our room featured two large windows overlooking a courtyard, which was fine. Although there were blackout blinds, the room still became bright quite early, which we found a bit disruptive. We also experienced some issues with the shower and water pressure, which was frustrating.

Despite these minor drawbacks, we would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return.

Great location in the middle of Old Town Nice with plenty of food options just steps from the hotel. Our dryer didn’t work for part of the trip but the staff were helpful and dried our stuff for us. The hotel is on the older side which wasn’t bad, but the bathroom sometimes had a sewage smell that came from the drain. Maybe it was because we were in the first floor. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I don’t think I’d call it a 4-star hotel.

The loft part is for people under 5’4” but it was perfect for us. Parking in the area is restricted but you can be dropped off 2 minutes away. Loved the place & the location.

A perfect location and an amazing space!

My family of three stayed at Hotel Palais Saleya for 5 nights this past week and we couldn't have loved it any more! The location was absolutely perfect in the old town close to amazing restaurants! It was a short walk to the beach and farmer's market as well! The suite with loft was just perfect for my 23 year old daughter, husband and myself with plenty of space to feel comfortable. Great amenities including a washer/dryer! The dryer didn't dry clothes as well as expected, but we were able to hang clothes and use the hair dryer or towel warmer if needed. The staff at the front desk were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgable! The tram was super close that could take you many places including the train station. We highly recommend this boutique hotel and would definitely stay here again!

This was the second 4-star hotel we stayed in during our trip and unfortunately Palais Saleya didn't hit the mark or come close to the experience we had in hour first 4-star hotel. First let me say that the hotel is very centrally located. You are right in the middle of everything and just a few minute walk to the morning market and the beach. The front desk staff were friendly. The lobby area is very basic. There is no \"wow\" factor like a lobby bar or restaurant or room for much of anything when you walk in. The room at first glance was very nice but the closer you look, the more it felt like they did the minimum to meet requirements for 4-star. The shower had rust and mold. There were scratch marks on the floor and the walls. The shower head on the ceiling barely worked. The headboard area of the bed had markings and my side table was filthy. They have a dishwasher but no soap. Housekeeping instead of cleaning my coffee cups would just put them in the dishwasher and leave them. They had laundry machine but no soap. The hand soap pump in the bathroom wasn't working so we pulled it off the wall and opened it - signaling there was a problem. Housekeeping didn't fix it. They left our used towels on the floor. At checkout I wasn't asked how my stay was - or at any time for that matter. If this was a 3-star hotel, my expectations wouldn't have been as high. Unfortunately I would not recommend this property.

The location was fabulous! Right in the heart of old town surrounded by lots of restaurants and places to grab a drink. However, it might not be ideal for light sleepers, we were on the 3rd floor and could hear noise from down below well into the early hours. It's a trade off, it didn't bother us, but can imagine it would if we were lower down floors or to easily irritated by noise. Rooms were spacious and staff were friendly. Overall a good experience

We had a great 4 night stay at the Palais Saleya Hotel. Very friendly staff who helped us with all of our questions in navigating the area. The hotel room was spotless and the cleaning crew were amazing each day. The location is perfect right in the center of everything, very safe, and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach front. On the weekends it can be slightly noisy due to the hotel being right in the center of everything, but it didn’t bother us at all, we had no trouble sleeping especially with the AC keeping us nice and cool throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay again!

Nice hotel in a great location. The room is clean and comfortable. I stayed in a 2 bedroom white with my family. There was plenty of space for my husband, our 2 daughters and myself. You can walk out to shops, restaurants, and the beach is maybe a 5 min walk. Very centrally located. The only drawback is the hotel is on a walkable street only. The taxi will only be able to drive you a half a block away. We had a lot of luggage so this was a bit inconvenient. If you can get over that inconvenience, you will be happy with your stay:

This hotel has a fantastic location right in the old city of Nice. The rooms are big and comfortable; they are set up like small apartments, which even included a washing machine. We did not find noise to be an issue during our stay, and we literally had a jackhammer working just outside the hotel at one point, which we could hear, but wasn’t really an issue due to the soundproofing. One thing to keep in mind is there is no road right next to the hotel and when taxis drop you off, you are about half a block away from the hotel. We used Wi-Fi that worked well. Breakfast is available and brought to the room, at requested times they were always spot on. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sometimes when I visit a city, I find a hotel that becomes my go to every time I visit and I know this hotel is going to be this for us in in Nice.

Stayed for a week with our two teenage daughters. Believe the positive reviews! From the super fast check in, convenient room access (small hotel), clean / modern rooms, ease of walking and friendly and efficient hotel staff, it was all we hoped for. The room was serviced daily and stocked with everything needed and more. Sorry I didn't get your name, but a special thank you to the young lady at the front desk who ran for ice when one of our fam had a twisted ankle! You were very accomodating and we appreciate your quick help! Within steps from the hotel are several bakeries, sandwich shops, gelato stands, cafes and the promenade along the beach. For those wondering about transportation, we took a taxi from the airport, which was super easy, but slightly more costly than an Uber. We Ubered back to the airport for our departure. There is a dropoff / pickup one block down from the hotel door due to the hotel being on an interior alley off of a main square. It's an easy walk with a roller bag. We highly recommend this establishment and hope to be back ourselves!

Lovely apartment in an awesome location. We had a car and finding the parking was chalk but once that was sorted we were very comfortable in this property. The property is located in old Nice! Minutes walking distance to most of the attractions. There are tons of restaurants and boutique shops in the area. The hotel room is spacious and surprisingly quiet. Beds are comfortable. The front desk staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had four nights wonderful stay here for family vacation. Great location with a street view. The room was huge with a large bathroom too. Nicely decorated! Near so many restaurants!
