Fantastic Hotel. We’ve used it a few times now. Very clean, big rooms and comfy beds.
My father in-law left his jacket in his room, he only realised when we had got home. The staff located it and put it somewhere safe until we got Royal Mail sorted to do a pick up. Very happy with the service.

The Room was in a poor conditiion - the matress was poor - there was what seemed to be mold on the ceiling - in the bedroom and shower - this was likley due to the room/ bathroom not having an extractor fan.

This place is a neglected dump. A corporate money-making machine. I'll share some photos of the blind hanging off the wall (not to mention it was a $5 blind you buy for a college dorm room). And the radiator that was falling off the wall. And the bathroom that I know for a fact hasn't been renovated in over 20 years. They don't care one bit about the customer. Get you in. Get your money. Get you out. Take my advice. STAY ELSEWHERE. And not at a different Village hotel. Avoid them all.

Room had mould on ceiling above window. Disgusting smell upon entry. TV didn’t work. Carpet stained in several areas. Explained this to staff and they came to attempt to fix TV but not joy. Said they would move us to a club room which, key to this room didn’t work so had to move to ANOTHER room. Finally got into our club room which was MUCH better than the original mouldy room. Would only ever book a club room moving forward.

Very disappointing stay considering the cost. We booked 2 x rooms for family. The cleanliness was very poor/the rooms are dated/electric cables showing from the radiator/cooler which didn’t work properly. No ac. They have Dyson fans which barely had any air coming from them.
The food in the restaurant was extremely expensive for what was served. Very bland.

The free standing main light in the room was broken, unplugged and leaning against a scuffed wall, there was no ceiling lighting, just a bedside lamp which wasn't enough to work by.
After a shower I realized the extractor didn't work so the bathroom didn't dry and it made the entire room feel damp, I kept the windows open to get some air in the room as there was no air conditioning or apparent source of other fresh air / circulation.
I stayed on the 2nd floor and could clearly hear the music from a disco or event which was taking place somewhere below, making it hard to sleep until it calmed down sometime around midnight.
One of the younger male staff members obviously didn't want to be there.

Great place to stay, however, none of the four USB ports worked. We reported on first day and they still didn’t work when we checked out after two nights. We were in room next to house keeping and it could be quite noisy, we wouldn’t want that room again. Staff are great and facilities are good.

This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The first time we visited the East Lancashire Railway, this time we had an event at the AO arena in Manchester. It’s a 7 minute drive into Bury. Park at the metro station and into Manchester.

Stayed for 1 night. Modern hotel, free onsite parking (weekend only) with plenty of spaces. Vibrant hotel with unbelievable facilities. Spacious and modern rooms, our only niggle was the bathroom could have been cleaned better. Good value breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Worthwhile downloading the rewards app had some good offers available.

I was there for an overnight stay and a fitness course the next day. The room wasn't dirty, but also could have been better. the edges of the carpet were dusty and the carpet felt a bit cruddy underfoot. there were a couple of hair on the towels- although they were clean. The staff were great though, and the service around the course was really good. (a lunch was provided which was really nice and seemingly well thought out for fitness professionals) and plenty of water and drinks available. It was OK, I would stay there again if I needed to be in that area. But it could have been better.
