It's a nice quiet neighborhood, easy to get to on public transit, and my room was a good size. However, the walls are thin and sound carries, and housekeeping is not their strong suit - the shower curtain had a bunch of mildew on it and there was toothpaste on the tea kettle.

Worst place i ever stayed. Toilets are extremely poor and dirty with human waste and pukes also condoms on the floor. Room wasn’t great as they advertised. Poor service, i am going to complaint against the specific accommodation at Queens Guest House to remove it from every where to avoid people got cheated. I am looking for a refund

The room given on the first night was awful the mattress was so worn out that you could feel the bed framework on your back,also the wardrobe was broken couldn’t hang our clothes,TV was not working at all and there were no plug socket for the kettle.

This place is absolutely disgraceful. Dirty, unsafe, dangerous. So bad that i only spent 10 minutes in the room before checking out. I told the guy on reception my concerns and he just said ok. Appalling place in a terrible location.

It was a cheap room booked last minute when we realised the event we were attending would finish after our last train home. The room wasn't great but its what we expected. The ensuite door didnt shut, the shower door was broken and the walls were very thin but it was cheaper than a taxi home.

What was there to like? We paid alot of money for the room that was nothing like the pictures. There were holes in the wall, which was not surprising, since everyone probably take out on the wall out of anger when they book the room and then get this \"room\" if you can call it that just because it has walls.
The 1 towel per 2 guests was dirty with skidmarks, heatkettle was full of water with dirty pieces in it, the door to the room were 5 cm above the ground, and the shared bathroom was just another complete shock. Never imagined that accomondation could be in such a disgraceful state

Room was grotty and graffiti ridden. No towels provided, let alone soap or shampoo. Don’t be fooled by the photos, my student accommodation was in better shape than this place.

The picture was deceiving, the twin room was completely opposite to what was shown in the picture. Two single beds were cramped together to make twin room, room was very tiny with a table and side drawers, very limited space, no bins in the room, tv was dated, holes on walls, climbing stairs was spooky, hand rails falling off, toilet seat wobbly and broken, shower cubicle very dirty and mildew growing, all carpets dirty and smelly.

The door lock looked like it’s been broken off a few times.

It definitely wasn’t like pictures toilet wasn’t fixed down . Ceiling looked like it was ready to drop after a leak bed was so uncomfortable I slept on quilt to cushion springs. Would not return funny thing was the man at desk said that the rooms are bein sold for less than they are and if I’m honest I think we paid too much

Everything you looks for in a hotel was wrong. Staff wise I only saw 1 man at the reception and was nothing short of evil. Putting his awful customer service aside he was smoking inside the hotel, the smell was strong throughout the building. My room was dirty, bathroom filthy, broken lights, broken bed, awful mattress. Honestly the worst experience of my life. On top of that I was kicked out of the hotel just 30 minutes after arrival for ‘banging’ this so called banging was nothing but me walking from my car to my room carrying my bags. He also refused a refund and I forced him to call the police. When the police arrived they informed me it’s not the first time there had been problems with this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You’d be better off sleeping in the street

Cheap and cheerful. Easy transport links to the centre (15min bus journey). Friendly and helpful staff. Not a hotel I'd spend much time in, but a decent place to lay your head on a city break/night out.

After reading previous reviews, we was very skeptical about attending the hotel. However, it was if we was staying in a completely different hotel in comparison. Check in was easy, room was clean. The only issue was with the bathroom and shelves having fallen down, but it's definitely a fixer upper and has potential. Worth the money
