Do not book here! Checked in to a twin room, poo on the floor, filthy sink, beds not made, used towels on the bed.
Got transferred to a double bed room, much cleaner but it smelt vile. Now the bed!!! The bed shouldn’t be called a bed, it’s a slab. Got no sleep, couldn’t fit 2 people in it.
Stay elsewhere for £98!

Very small room for the price, there was no minibar, old duvet is dirty, dirty floor, bathroom had no garbage bag, the heating was not working well. I asked for a room in a quiet place above and they put me downstairs where I couldn't sleep properly because there were people on the street talking loudly with car sound during the night.

I dont liked that hotel at all im so sorry ! I had terrible time there ! The man in the reception he was very rude and unfriendly ! Straight away he showed me bad view of the hotel as a member of staff there !!!!!!!

Absolutely rude and treating customers like street !!!! Disgusting and disrespectful and unprofessional anyway!

The reception was right. I could fine the hotel on Dale Street. It was the side road. It took me an hour to find it. The took me a while to that. When i did the bed took all the room. The corridor was like a rabbit hut. I didn't stay there night. I re-book in the Leonardo in Bridgewater road it was a 100 times better. And a bad experience turn good at end. Take this hotel of your list.

My stay was acceptable, but there were several aspects that impacted my overall experience. The room was very small, with limited space to place bags, and there was no chair or suitable surface to use. Additionally, the room was quite noisy - we could clearly hear conversations from the neighbouring room, which made it difficult to relax. Improving soundproofing and adding basic furniture would greatly enhance guest comfort

The room was very nice and the building was a beautiful with industrial vibes. The exposed brick wall in the room was lovely, and there were very large windows. Unfortunately, the blinds on the window didn't do a great job of shutting out the street lights and the blind pull was very high off the ground (not so great for shorter people). Receptionist staff are very friendly. When we got to the room on level four, he looked very much like a prison. The room couldn’t have been any worse you felt like you was in a cell. We couldn’t get the temperature any higher than 23 so it was freezing cold all night. The bed was really poor. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay and will not be returning however it was in a good location and the staff were friendly.

The staff were welcoming and polite, the room was clean and perfect for a quick overnight stay before heading onward to the airport. This was our second stay at this hotel, both times in the basement rooms, but I found it was a quite noisy at night this time, with passersby and cars playing loud music at the traffic lights. The WiFi signal was also quite poor, so watching TV wasn’t really an option. Otherwise, it was perfect for my husband and I, and I’m pleased with the cleanliness and price.

I wanted to like this hotel but there are plenty downside for a “budget hotel” that’s not so budget on the price yet lacking essentials for an hotel like Premier Inn.

First the positives, the hotels looks newly innovated, clean modern, great lighting well built and use of space. Bathroom has clean shower and good water pressure and hot water.

Now, I’ve been visiting the UK every year for 4 years in a row, I’ve always stayed at Premier Inn except for this year due to some weird reasons the price doubled during the week I am visiting so I had to look for other options.

For 90 quid a night, the “double room” is tiny, there is no desk / table, chair, you can barely have room for your suitcase, bathroom has no room for tuning round, TWO hangers with a weird design that could have been just given a bar mounted to the wall with extra hangers.
No kettle, tea / coffee packs, but the coffee machines will cost you 3 pound per drink.
If you need room cleaned meaning fresh bed sheets and towel, 15 pound per day!

Meanwhile last year 2024, I stayed at Premier Inn Piccadilly costed me 80 pound per night only, free room cleaning, free tea coffee milk packs with a kettle, special room with extra sofa, desk chair, massive room size and its just a standard room.

All in all, I will NEVER, book easyHotel ever again, it honestly felt like a scam deal.

Lovely staff I have to say, great people but the hotel, never agian, not when Premier Inn is just steps away.

The location is excellent for nq and there is a lift to all floors. Its clean. That is all the positives. The walls are super thin and you can hear seagulls and emergency vehicles through closed windows. We slept ok but one very thin pillow and two twin beds so cloae together with barely any space to walk between. It was a weekday so i think we were lucky that the noise died down early but id hate to see this on a weekend.

TV was small and basic. No tea or coffee making facilities, iron etc.

No breakfast option. Water filter available near reception.
WiFi worked well.

As with other easy hotels, the major downside is the 10am checkout time. Later checkout is possible for a fee, but 10am feels particularly unnecessary.

Reception staff are super friendly and helpful.

Assuming it’s one of the cheapest hotel options in Manchester City centre, it’s perfectly fine for a night or two.

The rooms are designed in a way there's no sound proofing between each room. A group of ladies in the room next to me were up late laughing shouting and overall it was hard to get off to sleep. The windows don't open but there is air conditioning. The room was clean, comfy and very smart.

The only reason I won't return is the bizarre lack of soundproofing.

We stayed at this easyHotel and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the room was fairly clean, there were several issues that really affected the overall comfort and quality of our stay.

There were visible marks all over the walls, one of the lights in the room wasn’t working, and there were no instructions for how to use the air conditioning. The shower door and the sink both had noticeable cracks, and the bathroom mirror light was loose inside the mirror.

The biggest issue, however, was the bed. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep. On top of that, only one very thin pillow per person was provided, which offered little to no support. There was also no hand towel available in the bathroom, which felt like a basic oversight.

Overall, the room felt neglected in terms of maintenance and comfort. We expected more based on the hotel’s advertised standards. I’ve since submitted a complaint and hope these concerns are addressed for future guests.

Overpriced for the area and size

There are many other hotels that are cheaper in the area with rooms that are easily 5 or 6 times the price. That also have a desk. Chairs. Coffee tables. And space to stand. They may have dated decor in comparison but much better value for money. The bed touch 3 out of 4 walls with about 10cm clearance at the 4th wall - I am not joking and it’s not a typo.

Amazing for the price

You get what you pay for. This is perfect if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay and you only want to use the hotel to sleep in at night. The room was tiny, bed slightly comfortable and felt like a small double. TV was tiny and basically on the ceiling. But for the price you really can’t complain, as long as you are expecting to get what you pay for. If you’re looking to spend more time in your hotel and have all the extras with a bar, room service, massive room - then this isn’t for you. But for our purpose it was perfect, we just wanted somewhere cheap to drop the bags off while we explored Manchester and to sleep in at night. Nothing was dirty or old. Would highly recommend.

Very 'compact' rooms, no working space, had to even get the other side of the bed. No kettle, having to walk down 2 floors and PAY even for hot water, just like easyjet i guess. You wouldn't mind, but the hotel wasn't cheap, stayed in plenty locally for same money with more for the traveller.

Rooms are extremely small, barely any room around the bed, no surfaces at all, not even a night stand or anything that could resemble a table. AC and toilet refill are very noisy, and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the other rooms. You have to pay for coffee, not even a bottle of water let alone a kettle in the room.

Barely enough room to squeeze past one bed to get to the other. No storage space other than 2 hangers attached to a shelf. Only privacy was in the bathroom which only had some sections as frosted glass. Lights mysteriously stopped working part way through too and then fixed themselves. As a bed to sleep in, it’ll do, it’s one step up from a hostel.
