Was very welcomed by the staff especially Stella she was great and so helpful! The room was very clean and the water for a shower was very hot and that is good. Be advised the elevator is very small and the stairs are a bit tricky. Good breakfast for the price.

Didn't have breakfast here. The staff were friendly and the room was very thoroughly cleaned. BUT, the room is very small, the elevator is basically one person + one suitcase. In our room the floor beneath the linoleum was literally disintegrating. One of the chair legs had fallen through leaving a hole in the floor. Really the only thing good about this place was that it was \"affordable\" by Paris standards. We did like the Montmartre neighbourhood.

The hotel was in the fashionable area of Montmartre and very convenient for accessing the city with a Metro station 2 minutes walk away.
The room was quite small and comfortable with a large well appointed bathroom. Staff were friendly and there was complimentary tea and coffee available.

This was my first time in Paris and Hotel Eden Montmartre was the best place to come home to after long days out and about! It’s so easy to get to the city with Jules Joffrin metro just a quick walk from the hotel with several boulangers and cafes surrounding it as well as being very close to Simplon metro station which I also used during my trip!

I stayed 5 nights and it was perfect everytime I came home. The elevator was such a great way to get up and down from my room on the 6th floor after my long 20000+ step days in the city. The bedroom was massive for me as I came alone but if you came with a partner you would still be spoilt for space! The bathroom is great! A lovely spacious bathroom unlike the cramped or small ones I saw when looking at other hotels and airbnbs in particular. Whilst it does not have Aircon, the windows both open right up and the fan did an amazing job keeping me cool (I also came at a pretty average summer time, I only had one 30C day, the rest were all mid to low twenties so maybe something to keep in mind).

I will say that the room would have been perfect if there was a mini fridge in the room to keep your water nice and cool during the summer. I do believe they do offer it on request which I didn’t know about until I looked at their official website on my final day so maybe next time haha! Bottom line would love to just see a mini fridge in there permanently if that is the case. I will definitely try and come stay here again, it’s truly Paris!

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days and it was mostly a great experience! The hotel is small and the rooms are on the small side, but everything was clean and the staff were happy and helpful!

Couple of things to note.

Firstly, there's no air conditioning so if your stay coincides with hot weather you may need to consider leaving windows open

And secondly, if you get offered a room 'street side' or 'yard side', choose the yard! Our room faced on to the street and it was noisy with traffic, plus there are some bars just a few meters away and 'people noise' was very noticeable!

Walking to Montmartre is largely uphill, and there is a Metro station and a couple of very nice bakeries a couple of minutes walk

So, recommended as a lower cost hotel option in a lovely area of northern Paris!

Lovely room for fair price in Paris

Lovely decent size room with a large bed, a wardrobe, an electric kettle, two chairs, and a beautiful tall double window which looked out at lovely buildings across the street. Bathroom was fine. The noise level was fairly minimal. We really loved our room. Breakfast was available for a cost, and tea and coffee were always available either downstairs or in the room. People in reception were friendly and very helpful. The hotel was just steps away from the metro, restaurants, and boulangeries.

This charming hotel is in a very walkable area with excellent Metro access. A number of really good bistros and restaurants within the immediate neighbourhood. The standard room we stayed in was very small. We are not large people however maneuvering around the bed to the bathroom and getting dressed was a bit of a dance for two people.

This little hotel is just enough for a few nights in Paris if you’ll be out in the city most of the day. It’s clean but definitely run down and a bit old, which ultimately was ok with me, it adds to the charm and it makes sense for Paris. The rooms are small and you have just enough to walk around and get ready, bathroom is tiny! However I booked a twin (2) bed room and we actually had 3 twin beds which was just perfect. Breakfast is also offered for an extra fee.

The windows which are almost floor to ceiling can give you a little “balcony” vibe when open. We had the street view and it was just lovely, and with the windows closed it wasn’t very noisy. There’s also an armoire which fits your clothes and other items.

The area was perfect! Very walkable, lots of spots for dinner, breakfast, brunch. There’s also grocery stores nearby. The Sacre Cœur basilica is only a 10/15 min walk.
We took the metro everywhere; the hotel is a few minutes walk from the nearest stop, with more only a block or two away. Keep that in mind because getting to the most popular attractions around Paris and the city center will require at least one or two metro rides from Montmartre/the hotel depending on where you’re going. Uber works perfectly if that’s what you prefer or are in a rush, but the metro is very easy to use and of course cheaper in the long run. Can also take the metro to the airport.

Overall this was a lovely stay for a few days in Paris, I only wish we had had more time.

The hotel is very well maintained and clean. The room we had was comfortable for two people, and quiet, though we could hear the rumble of the metro passing below the building and we were five floors up - it wasn't a disturbance. The staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast provided better value than going to a cafe. It's in a part of Paris we're pretty familiar with, and there are lots of places to eat nearby, and a minute's walk to the Metro. I'd happily stay here again.

Decent little hotel that does the job

Stayed here for 3 nights in a triple room. It’s a cosy little hotel with friendly staff and clean. It’s a little shabby in places and our bathroom could definitely have done with a facelift but the water pressure was good. The hotel is quite cosy so there is a bit of noise from other rooms. But for the price, we thought this was excellent.

We have been staying at Hotel Eden since 2009 and always have a wonderful time. The hotel is extremely well situated close to a metro station and a Monoprix where we can buy basics. There are several delicious restaurants on the same block where we dine every time we are there and we look forward to visiting our favorites places. The hotel breakfast is great and such a good value for less than 9 Euros. The metro station is a block away and connects to everything we want to see, do and visit. While not fancy, Hotel Eden is safe and clean. The staff is friendly and they speak several languages so we are able to ask questions. We look forward to staying here many years to come. I can't say enough about how much we love Hotel Eden. It was a great find!

Perfect location and friendly staff

We wanted to stay in Montmartre and the Eden hotel was a perfect location. And also very good for buses and metro to other parts of Paris. We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed the village atmosphere of Montmartre and the friendliness of all the staff at the Eden Hotel. Would happily stay there again and fully recommend it.

The hotel is very old style. near 2 metro line 4 and 12 in a nice neighborhood 10 minutes train from the center. The workers in the desk where AMAZING especially Nazima and Stela they answer every question and give me tips what to do and where to go. they really care for the gusts. in the room no air-conditioning, no English Chanels in t.v.

Good no-frills hotel. Get everything you need but not much more. Excellent for a short stay, I felt very safe the entire time and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room and bathroom were both very clean. Excellently connected to the Paris metro system and very walkable. If you need a comfortable place to stay but don’t need or want to pay for the extras hotels can offer, I highly recommend. But if you want more, you won’t find it here.

I was positively surprised by this hotel. It is a very good option for a short stay when one is out sightseeing most of the day anyway. It is clean, just minuted away from two metro stations, with plenty of eateries and cafés nearby. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything was functional. The room wasn't even so small for Paris standard. It wasn't noisy easier and the attention from staff was very nice. Another plus is the check in from 11am which is early for Paris and very convenient when coming from a long journey. We didn't try their breakfast but it looked ok and at 8.50 EUR it is reasonably priced.

The room do not have A/C and price was expensive for what you get from the room. Is a very old building with no restorations of the rooms. Looks old, is really really small. It was surprisingly quite but was not comfortable. For main attractions is close to a metro station but located in Montmatre but not in a nice place or touristic place.

On arrival realised no parking on the property. Says “parking available” but this was 5 minute walk down the street and costs €30 a night and we were staying 4 nights!
Great location with lovely cafes but we only chose it because we refined our search to hotels with parking.
No kettle in the room, no mini bar and no iron.
Bathroom smelled awful- like urine/damp/mould. Room was worn and walls/tiles did not look clean.
Our shower head was lose and therefore pointing downwards, we tried to screw it tighter but didn’t work. Told reception, no apology, wasn’t fixed the next day but got fixed the day after that. So we had 2 days with a broken shower.
On checkout we were asked twice if we had breakfast which we didn’t but it appeared he did not believe us. Surely they keep a record. Very disappointed for 3 stars and for the cost.

Hotel Eden Montmartre was in a great area with easy access to metro. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, they even arranged for shuttle service to the airport (for 18€ per person a very good deal). The room was very clean and kept in immaculate shape throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom had a big shower with good water pressure. The neighborhood was very nice and a short walk from Sacre Coeur and the best montmartre has to offer. Spent a day strolling the streets and admiring the artists at work (picked up a couple paintings). On the down side the room was small and there was no air condition ( didn't need it during our stay) all in all a very good experience based on staff friendliness, location and cleanliness :-)

This hotel did it's job, I was comfortable, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the local area was great. However, it wasn't what I expected in terms of space and facilities. I found the room quite cramped (the ones pictured on the site looked bigger), the wifi barely worked and there were no facilities in my room to make tea. There was a hot water machine in the foyer but by the night time the water had cooled down. I realise this probably sounds really nit-picky but I've stayed in a few hotels in the UK that have been cheaper and have had better general facilities so I was a bit disappointed. If this doesn't bother you though, the place is great.

I really want to love this hotel but the negatives outweigh the positives.

Great, convenient location and affordably priced. Staff is friendly, professional, and prompt.

Our room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was tiny....part of the sink hung over the narrow tub....when sitting on the toilet one shoulder was on a wall and the other shoulder is on the shower door.

The biggest negative was the NOISE. The floors are NOT carpeted and every step made above you is amplified. The subway runs under the street in front of the hotel and rumbles from 5am to 2am. With ear plugs I still had trouble with the noise. If you aren’t bothered by endless noises then you’ll love this place.

Worst Hotel I've stayed in

I wasn't expecting much but what I got looked nothing like the pictures, no privacy, no view, little control over the overwhelming heat in the room and a blanket that looked like it was from World War I. They had put two twin beds together to make a double but they kept sliding apart during the night. I payed extra to find a new place to stay and still don't know if they intend to refund any money for checking out 4 days early.

I would stay in this hotel again during my next visit to Paris. Prime location just half a block away from the Metro. A lot of food variety nearby and walking distance from several of Paris main attractions. It was a good experience overall.

Nice boutique hotel in Montmartre

Nice and comfortable hotel in the heart of Montmartre. Safe to walk the streets any time of the day and plenty of bistros in the area. Main Metro line is only a block away. Proprietor and personnel are courteous of very helpful. I strongly recommend this hotel for a cozy and comfortable short stay in the heart of Paris.

Excellent location, friendly staff

We picked this hotel because we wanted one with some character. We had a wonderful stay--a spacious bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Delightful spiral staircase. We loved the elevator that was just big enough for two people and two carry ons. The staff made us feel like family. It was one block from the metro, 1/2 a block from a bakery that featured delicious chocolate croissants, two blocks from two groceries and restaurants in every direction.Close enough to easily walk to Sacre Coeur. We are all ready looking forward to another stay in the future.

Do not stay here! You won't get what you book.

I have never stayed at a more falsely advertised hotel or received such abysmal service anywhere in my life. We booked one room with 2 double beds listed at 301 sq ft. When we arrived we were given two rooms so small we could barely walk around the beds. We told them this was unacceptable as our 5 year old would be alone in another room. They blamed the internet and told us that you can't trust the internet, expedia, or hotels.com. There were signs all over the hotel stating not to book online or anywhere other than their own website. The rooms we were given were disgusting, they were not clean and smelled like something had died in the walls. We were told we could be moved to our actual room for the following night. The next morning we spoke to Bacci who was possibly the rudest person I've ever met. He flat refused to move us to another room and began ridiculing us because we are American. He lied to our faces repeatedly and told us to get our stuff out of the room so we could get new keys then he flat refused to give us keys. I watched as half of the hotel checked out and he told me that he had no idea when anyone was checking out or when rooms would be available. Hours later we were given a new room, still not the one we booked, it had three small beds. We slept to sounds of rats in the walls and strange smells. In the bathroom a loose shelf fell on my daughter and severely bruised and scraped her. We spoke to 4 other guests and everyone had similar terrible experiences.

Nice hotel close to metro

Very good location, can take metro line 12 and 4 just few steps away. A lot of good restaurants around, hotel staffs are excellent, highly recommend

Hotel was nice the room was clean however there was some issues with the cleanliness of bathroom some items left in shower from previous guest. The lady on reception friendly but the older gentleman when we checked out was rude and very unhelpful

When I arrived there was a gentleman at the front desk who did not move from his chair and did not seams to be involved in welcoming customers
There was no instruction for the safe box but he had not clue how to use it same for the phone

Every day was a different person and about the same except the day I left
The lady at the front desk was professionnal
I fel when I was asking for help like I was a difficult customer and it was very unpleasant
There is only one person a day and no one to supervise
One of them went at the front desk with the rubber gloves for cleaning as he was working in the kitchen
I would not recommend that hotel and won't go again

For this price, it is very good.

We were issued a room facing the road, and was too noisy for us. So requested a change of room, staff was understanding, and changed to a quiet room for us. Hotel was near to many amenities, supermarkets, shops, cafe, metro, all within short walking distance.

Good hotel near Sacre Coeur and Montmartre village

Cozy, clean place with friendlly staff. Short walk to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre village which is a\"must see place\". Plenty of caffes nearby and two min walk to the metro which can take you everywhere. The street behind is a shopping area for locals where you can see Paris for parisiens.
