This hotel was perfect for our weekend trip to Paris. Ideally located next to the metro with lovely artisan shops around the corner.
Gabrielle on reception was amazing and very accommodating to anything we needed, we even received a free upgrade on arrival.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, thank-you.

Very nice hotel. It is in a nice residential areas with a nearby supermarket and lots of places to eat. Feels very safe. Hotel is a 3 minute walk from metro (station not fully accessible). Staff are lovely.

Room was plenty big enough for one person but two with lots of luggage would find it a bit of a squeeze. Bathroom small but functional although shower a bit tricky to get into - large step up and sideways. Room had recently been renovated and had loads of plug sockets and good lighting. Curtains effective. Good shower. Only bugbear is lack of soundproofing, hotel isn't awful in this respect but could be far better.

Overall I think this hotel is good value for money and i would be more than happy to stay here again.

Hotel Apolonia Paris Montmartre is wonderful

This beautiful little boutique hotel is in a great location (close to Metro) and in a wonderful neighborhood in Montmartre. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room quite comfortable. The shower is small and typical for Paris. I loved my stay here!

Overall the hotel is not bad, but we probably stayed in the worst possible room they have. Room number 8 which is on the ground floor by the reception. This room was very noisy and during the day and early mornings you could hear all reception related conversations. A door was shut during the evening, but made a horrible noise everytime anyone came through to their rooms.
I personally wouldn't stay there again. I appreciate a different room might equal a different experience but I wouldn’t want to take the chance.
Location was good and hotel condition wasn’t too bad either.

Excellent service was received from Lucas, Steve and Benjamin at Lamarck. They were knowledgeable, courteous, patient and above all else spoke perfect English. Our favorite hotel on our Europe trip to date. There are a lot of stairs to get to the Metro and Sacre Coeur, so good mobility is required. Thanks for a wonderful 5 nights in Paris!

Always happy to stay here (must be my 5th or 6th time) as it is close to where I need to work and has a great bistro/bar scene nearby for the evenings. Shame that this time my stay was slightly spoiled by a broken window mechanism which was reported but not fixed. Got little sleep on the last night because I was unable to shut out the street noise and early morning dustcarts. It wont stop me coming back though as it is a good find in a city full of overpriced and sometimes very poor quality hotel rooms.

Tiny rooms, tinyer baths & few amenities.

The folks st the front desk were very good. But, the rooms are small and all are the same size. Queen beds only. Bathroom so small your knees hit the door when you’re on the toilet. Hair driers available at the front desk, but they never had one. No coffee in room. They started putting away their skimpy breakfast a bit early. There are much better hotels nearby at a similar price. No reason to stay there again.

Room was not as advertised. Climate control was not available and the only window was broken and appeared to be falling off the hinges. We decided to leave but were denied a refund. Complained to Hotels.com and was promised a voucher for half of the money paid but have yet to receive confirmation. Found a commensurate hotel around the corner for half the price.

Enjoy Montmartre in the Comfort Hotel Lamarack!

The hotel was easy to find in the heart of Paris' Montmartre. The staff was always cheerful and helpful. The ensuite was always clean and tidy. It felt fresh and uncomplicated and very accessible to many parts of Paris and its metro. Scare Coeur was just above the area, while bakeries, brasseries and cafés adorned the area. Museums, parks and other tourist attractions are not too difficult to get to from this location. There were grocery stores and produce stands for a quick bite, as well.

You get what you pay for and I didn't expect to be staying in total luxury for what I got this room for.
The rooms were small and the toilet/shower was tiny but it was very clean and neat.The beds were comfortable and the sheets were changed every day and the room cleaned.It was in a very interesting location in Paris too.Lots of good bars,cafes and resturaunts nearby and a metro round the corner Great bakery right on the corner too and about 5 min. walk to the Basilica.
For the price ,absolutley no problems with this hotel.It's not the Hilton but it was good value
Would recomend for a cheap week/weekend in Paris.

Fabulous place to stay

Staff incredibly friendly polite and professional and welcoming from the minute we walked through the door. The room was fabulous with air con and comfortable beds. The access to small courtyard for evening drinks was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location was fantastic. We had a fabulous stay and next time we are in Paris we will return to the hotel.

My room was a little small, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a great location, near enough to walk to Sacre Couer, but not so close that the prices are stupid. The price I paid was very good value for a major city, and I would happily stay again. There are some excellent independent shops in the vicinity, including lots of arts and crafts and not one but two chocolatiers!

Small, cosy hotel in Montmartre

Modern hotel in Montmartre. The hotel is very clean and close the Metro 12 line. The rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny but it's a perfect hotel if you are just looking for a nice, clean place to sleep. Reception staff were lovely. Breakfast very basic but reasonable in price compared to local cafes (very expensive!). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again

This hotel is accessible to subway(metro) but that's all. There's only one staff that's accommodating and he works in the morning, he made our stay pleasant, forgot to get his name. Avoid this hotel if you can, the towels, beddings smell like vinegar, there's so many hair on the bed sheets. Asked the receptionist Sabrina for an extra pilllow and told me the lady/cleaner had gone for the day and she can't get us one. Two nights had passed, no pillows until the 3rd night. We asked for the beddings to be changed and the last cleaner can't speak basic English, I helped her changed the beddings, pulled the covers and bed etc. Last day, there's no hot water running in the shower. We had to endure 4 nights of smelly vinegar sheets and towels. When we left, the receptionist didn't even issue me a receipt of payment for the extra charge she said we didn't pay like taxes, but my booking says paid in full including taxes. We just had to let it go because we were in a hurry to catch our flight. I'd give this hotel a 1 star for the poor customer service, and bad hotel management.

Very small but conveniently located.

The Comfort Hotel Lamarck is located in Paris's 18th District. The closest metro station is Lamarck / Caulaincourt which is a just few minutes walk away.

We were checked into room number 1 which is outside the main building. The room itself was small, not very clean and had, what I can only describe as, the smallest bathroom I've ever encountered.

The room is parallel with Rue Duhesme and as it is slightly lower than street level, you are constantly disturbed by passing pedestrians and cars.

There was also a constant 'scratching' noise which seemed to be coming from the wall, almost as if a rat or mouse was trying to gnaw it's way through. The bathroom sink was leaking from the waste pipe and the shower pipe was split causing loss of pressure and water to spray out. We reported all issues to reception who said they would make a note of the issues and report them to maintenance. Make of that what you will.

We had the chance to book a 4 star hotel, which was slightly further from where we wanted, for only £8 more. We won't make the same mistake twice; next time we'll book a better hotel and forsake convenience.

Stuffy, Noisy, OK Location

The hotel room itself is small but clean. Bed was comfortable and it had a small ensuite connected. There is free WiFi for the hotel, however, it cuts out every 5-10 minutes with you then having to disconnect and reconnect straight after. The room itself is very stuffy with no air coming through. We attempted opening the window on the first night, however, it's noisy at all hours, plus our room was right next to the illuminated hotel sign making it seem like it was daylight. We asked the staff for a fan in which the lady she said she'd bring it up when she finishes her shift at 9 as she's the only one on at that time. My partner went downstairs at 910 to see if she was down there and yes still talking to other customers, we waited until 930 as we didn't want to interrupt and by that time she had left and the man on wouldn't allow us the fan. The main good things about the hotel is it's location, it's right next to a metro train line and has a few restaurants in the area.

Excellent staff, helpful and most speak a little to a lot of English. Rooms are small but clean. Block can get loud but that's not an issue for me. Bathrooms are modern but tiny, large people may find it difficult to maneuver the showers. The area is trendy with a lot of good restsurants. Beds are comfortable so you will get a terrific rest.

Great Budget Option

Perfect for my trip - it's nothing fancy, but if you're looking for a clean, safe, friendly, value for money hotel in a busy neighbourhood with lots of bars and cafes this is a good choice. Very handy for the Metro and the Sacre Coeur.

It was terrible I never say that to any business all my life but it was Room is super small I felt like its Hong Kong . Some people stuck in the elevator . Wifi didn't work in my room with iPhone 6s when I address the problem she told me that I'm the only one complain . They change the entire beds while I was staying .it was 2 single bed but when they change the beds they made it one double . I address it in the morning next day it was still same in the night . Street is very noisy I don't mind but some people does. I also saw they selling drugs around . I payed around $70 a night which was ok and the free breakfast was very good alots of variety

I've been to Paris a few times, and I enjoyed staying at Comfort Hotel Lamarck for over 2 weeks. The location is excellent, close to the metro and lots of things to do walking distance. Rooms weren't huge, but normal for what you find in Paris. Friendly staff. Would be happy to stay here again.

Nice hotel, close to the metro

I really liked this hotel. It was outside the main city centre, but it was great in that it didn't cost a lot and it was close to the metro. I had a nice double bed, a private bathroom, a TV, and Wifi. The room was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but it's the same all over Paris apparently. I loved that it was a minute away by walking from the Lamarck metro station as I was using it to get all over Paris. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart was also just up the hill (within walking distance). It did get a bit noisy at night on the street outside, but this didn't really bother me as I'm not a light sleeper. The walls seemed paper thin though and I could hear other guests in neighbouring rooms clearly (again, this didn't really bother me). The hotel staff were really nice and were willing to print out vouchers or any documents I needed for my trip, and provided advice on local attractions. Long story short, the room was comfortable and clean, the staff were nice, and it was in a good location without being too pricey. There was no breakfast served and the cafe just downstairs was not very good except for the croissants so the only thing was I wished I had a mini-fridge or microwave in my room - that would've made the stay perfect. I recommend it for those on a low budget, looking for a nice place to stay in Paris - great place!!

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly, however rooms had imperfections. Room 1 was on the groundfloor, which was very very noisy, as noise from reception (phone, guests/staff chatting/door bell/toilets) was very audible from the room, meaning we had a bad night's sleep. light fixtures were also broken. That said, the room was a reasonable size, especially the bathroom.

we asked to move room to the 1st floor, which was much quieter, but the room was a fair bit smaller. everything was fine in that room, although the plug in the shower was very slow to drain, so showers were limited to a couple of minutes before risking flooding the bathroom.

the area is great though - close to metro, plenty of cool, fun bars and nice restaurants. montmartre/sacre coeur is close by, with great views and lovely restaurants - would definitely stay in the area again

Very close to Sacre Coeur so that was a bonus. Only a 2 min walk to nearest metro so very accessible.

Extremely noisy at night as local cafés open until well after midnight.

In considering the price we paid for the room, it was exactly right. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very small with an AC that didn't work well. WIFI is free but hardly worked. Bathroom was extremely tiny. But with all that being said it was close to the metro and clean. If your just needed a place to sleep for an inexpensive rate then this is your place.

Lovely staff very friendly and all spoke good English which made the stay a lot easier.
Room was basic, smaller than expected from the pictures but did the job as it was only needed for sleeping in. Blackout blinds were not installed meaning mornings were very bright but again not an issue for me but more so my other half.
Wifi was the biggest issue as we could not pick up a signal in the room, only place we could get the wifi was the reception area which isn't particularly ideal.
Overall would say it is worth staying if you are planning on spending 99% of your time in the city centre, which is also very accessible due to the metro station 2 minutes away. Would probably stay somewhere closer to the centre personally next time, but the cost of the hotel was ideal as Paris is very expensive and gave us a little more money to spend on others things.

At check in wasn't given the breakfast deal promised on the website, dismissed with the wave of a hand. Very annoyed at that. Room was smallish but comfortable and very clean as was the shower/toilet. Real problem was local youths hanging out in the lane opposite the hotel. Bawling and shouting until 3 or 4 in the morning , If you are in a room at the front of the hotel you wont get much sleep. One night the cops came and had twenty of them lined up against the wall with their police dogs barking. Got this hotel at a great rate but I would have paid more to get one nights sleep in six.
Air con didn't work either and having to keep the window shut because of the noise during a boiling hot July made it a very uncomfortable stay.

The rudest, ignorant reception guy ever!!!!

This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are small but very clean and a lot of sockets which is great. The bathroom was tiny so a larger person would not be able to take a shower...no way as I'm average and couldn't turn around! The one really bad thing about this otherwise pleasant hotel was they guy on reception. The wifi code was on a small paper in my room and it was lost when the room was cleaned. We pleasantly asked the guy for another and he actually started shouting at us saying \"are you an idiot you wouldn't leave money in the room would you?\" and other crazy comments. eventually he said ok I will give you another paper but I could lose my job...eh????? He was so loud, aggressive and rude I honestly felt I was shaking when we left the hotel. The other staff were lovely but this guy really needs to be removed as he will surely put off clients with this horrible attitude. this is why I reviewed terrible!!!!

Lamarck hotel

I normally travel to France multiple times per year, and I've stayed at many different hotels. Normally they are relatively small, but this one had the smallest bathroom ever!! I'm 6' tall, and the shower was ~ 1M X 1M X <2M. The toilet was so close to the door that the door needed to be open in order to sit comfortatbly. I would not suggest buying the WIFI conection, as it doesn't work most of the time. The hotel is at the bottom of a large hill, and the Metro is at the top of the hill. Transporting luggage was a real workout at best. I've stayed at other locations (Bastille / Latin Qtr) which are more conducive to getting around the city walking or Metro.

På badeværelset fungerede bruseafløbet dårligt så vi stod og soppede i vand, der flød ud over hele gulvet. Afløbet i håndvasken fungerede også dårligt. Spejlene var beskidte.
Fantastisk morgenmad. Fantastisk personale. God beliggenhed og godt at der var parkering, da vi var i bil. Vi havde booket værelse nr. 12 til 2 voksne og 1 barn.

De staat van de badkamer mag een beetje beter bekeken worden. Er zaten een aantal schimmelplekken op de muur en randen van de douche. Verder erg fijn hotel. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Para ser un Best Western decepcionó

Habían asignado una habitación en el primer piso muy chica para tres huéspedes, sin iluminación y sin ventilación natural, era una especie de “caja cuadrada” que olía a alfombra mojada. Al pedir cambio de habitación por lo dicho, se asignó otra en el sexto piso cuyo baño era EXTREMADAMENTE PEQUEÑO E INCÓMODO. Además, la habitación no tenía vista de ningún tipo y no tenía ventilación.
Paños desgastados y manchados.
Está muy alejado de las atracciones del centro de París.
Muy mala relación de precio-calidad.

Établissement bien situé, agréable. Rénovation récente. La chambre était d’une taille correcte pour qui n’y vient que pour dormir. Les sanitaires bien que récents manquaient d’espace, à l’image d’une cabine d’un ferry en plus « luxueux ». C’est dommage compte tenu du prix d’une nuit…
Petit déjeuner continental très correct++

Het hotel is goed gelegen voor sportieve mensen, mensen die niet goed te been zijn geen aanrader. Alleen is het soms luidruchtig op de straat door de omliggende cafe's. In de zomer denk ik zal dit nog veel echter zijn omdat men dan meer op de straat leeft.

einfaches Hotel mit akzeptablem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis; Service (an Rezeption) sehr schlecht: fehlende Handtücher mussten abgeholt werden; City-Tax sollte doppelt bezahlt werden

Hotel razoável, porém com uma localização boa, fomos a pé a Sacre Couer, a cama é pequena pra um casal grande, banheiro minúsculo.

O que salva é o atendimento da Recepcionista Sara, muito atenciosa em resolver qq problema dos hóspedes, os demais sempre com cara fechada.

Gezellig, modern, schoon hotel. 24/7 balie bemand, erg vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijtbuffet is compleet. Kamers zijn gezellig en schoon. Paar minuten (trappen) lopen naar Sacre Coeur met gezellige winkeltjes en restaurants.

J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Pas de télécommande pour la TV dans ma chambre mais je pouvais tout faire via la TV directement. Salle de bains très petite mais propre et bien pensée. Literie confortable et peu de bruit la nuit. Le petit dejeuner est excellent !

Hôtel bien situé près de Montmartre, très bon accueil, petite chambre mais confortable. Mauvaise isolation phonique on entendait les bruits de la rue et un peu juste pour le chauffage, mais le personnel étais très aimable et à l’écoute souriant et serviable. Globalement j’ai été satisfait le séjour s’est bien passé.

Séjour à l'hotel avec une amie : très bon accueil par le gardien, propreté, chambre confortable et au calme femmes de chambre polies et aimables. Petit bémol : incivilité de certains clients, portes qui claquent tardivement le soir, dont une nuit réveillées à 0h23 (gardien de nuit a dû intervenir... ) Mais là malheureusement la direction n'y est pour rien !

Accueil rapide et sympathique. La chambre n'est pas très grande, la salle de bain est très (trop) petite. Cependant l'ensemble est fonctionnel et équipé de l'essentiel pour passer un court séjour.
Le petit déjeuner buffet, servi dans une salle fort agréable, avec une décoration soignée, est de qualité. Les produits sont très variés (œufs brouillés, saucisses, charcuteries, fromages, yaourts, céréales, viennoiseries, divers pains...). Situé proche de la station de métro Lamarck Caulaincourt ou de la ligne 80, l'hôtel est calme et l'offre de restauration aux alentours est importante.
