My stay was amazing. The front desk was friendly and helpful and allowed my to drop off my bags before checking in. The view from the roof deck is stunning! And so quiet! You dont hear the hussle of Paris. The hotel is close and convenient to the metro, shops, and cathedral. I highly recommend and will stay here again. Oh! They have everything you need if want to cook!

I arrived at 1330 on March 13, at this hotel, one and half hour sooner than regular check in time. It was raining outside and we had no place to go, as our plane landed early at CDG airport. We were going to hang out in the lobby if we were not allowed to check in, but the lady at the reception desk helped me becoming a member of ASR travel group just to let us check in early. I was very impressed from the very beginning with her immediate assistance. It's a small gesture but it meant a lot because my wife and I were exhausted after 12 hour flight from California USA. From the very first day and until we checked out March 18, all the staff members at the front desk answered and helped me with all the question I had. My 5 days in Paris were just wonderful and the staff member at the front desk of this hotel played a big role in our wonderful time in Paris. My wife and I plan to go back to Paris to experience more, and I will not hesitate to book again with this hotel for my next stay. The hotel's location is very ideal too. There are 2 metro subway stations, bakeries, mini markets all within 5 minutes walking time. The neighborhoods are filled with pretty streets and you can walk to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica. As Monmartre has many streets filled with tourists, that vibe gave us more excitement to be part of the group exploring many corners of beautiful Paris.

Great neighborhood! Right next to Montmartre cemetery. Perfect site if you need to accommodate a group of four. The two kids slept comfortably on separate twin beds in a fold out couch. Very friendly helpful staff, we took advantage of the buffet breakfast each morning as we were traveling with kids as it was the easiest, but they had many good choices. About 5 minute walk to convenient metro. Lots of dining options nearby. Would love to stay again and highly recommend, especially for families.

The room was clean however some things in the room needed to be fixed. The fan in the bathroom had no switch so it was on day and night and was a bit loud. When asked for it to be fixed, they did that, but only lasted one day. The closet doors were broken and could not be closed all the way. The television had a bad connection in the back, so every channel was slightly pixelated, and the sound kept going in and out.

It is a nice and quiet property near Monmartre cemetery. Great location for transportation and great city walks. The staff at the reception is extremely courteous and friendly. I didn’t eat breakfast because I am a celiac and I needed a kitchenette to cook my own meals. This was another reason I chose to stay at Citadines Monmartre.

The hotel itself is perfectly placed and the staff are very professional and helpful. Our room was on 6th floor so away from any road noise. The bathroom was a little tired but perfectly useable. The room also has a kitchenette so handy to make a cuppa.
My only negative is the room walls/ceiling are so thin/not sound proofed. For all three nights I was woken up around 2am by someone returning above us and could hear chairs scraping on the floor and even the people talking.
I did ask for some earplugs which they supplied and they did offer to change our room, but I feared it would be the same in any other room. So if you are a heavy sleeper this is a great hotel for you as it’s located well and feels very safe, if like me you do wake easily it’s not ideal.

Just because there is a kitchenette they consider it an apartment and do not clean until you leave. It was extremely noisy because our room was near the metal staircase to the rooftop. They claim the rooms our soundproof. They are not in the least. They did however change our room upon request. The location is excellent however. Close to all kinds of cafes and nightlife.

The rooms were so well equipped, they have thought of everything. The sofa bed in the living room has a proper mattress and is very comfortable. Staff and amenities great! Free tea/coffee from the breakfast room each morning even if you aren't paying for breakfast which is a lovely touch. Location perfect, metro close, some beautiful places to eat and the famous moulin rouge just around the corner. Travelled with my mum and my two daughters ages 18 and 21. Best city break! Thank you

Disappointing stay at CMP

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Citadines Montmartre Paris. The experience was marred by several issues that made me regret my choice.

Firstly, for me the atmosphere in the hotel was not welcoming. The night before I checkout they were young people smoking pot sitting outside in front of the hotel, stinking up the whole entrance. The smell was disgusting. The attendant had the opportunity to see them and also smell it when the door open, nothing was done.

2nd, I twisted my foot while picking up food on St Denis Friday night. When I came back around midnight I was in excruciating pain and called the front desk for some ice, but the attendant (a guy) told me the ice machine was locked and he couldn't provide any assistance even though I told him it was an emergency. Did not even care to ask me what emergency.

3rd, another incident occurred when I asked for some salt and pepper to cook eggs. To my surprise the front desk attendant (a woman) refused to help, citing that the storage was locked and she couldn't provide them (after 2 or 3 hrs when we went down for towels she gave it in a cup stating her manager okay it, (by that time we had already gone out to buy it).

Also their attitudes, service were not that great. Given these experiences and others, I wouldn't recommend Citadines Montmartre Paris. It seems they cater to a specific clientele, but for me, us, the service and amenities were horrible Not worth the stay and money.

It was clean, safe and secure hotel. It had 24/7 receptionist; they all know English. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Close to metro and bus station. Restaurants and shopping are all in walking distance. Only couple of minutes of walk to Moulin Rouge. Our room was oversized with a king size bed. Having a kitchenette was a big plus. The bathroom was big too. If you select to stay in this hotel bring your 220 volts USB charger/adaptor. USB chargers are not provided. We enjoyed staying in this hotel, we will definitely stay again in this hotel.

We loved the terrace on the 8th floor with a beautiful view of Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre and the Eiffel Tower. A nice area to have a glass of wine and to enjoy a summer sunset.

The location is excellent. If staying with children I’d recommend getting off at Place de Clichy metro if you want to avoid walking past all the sex shops.
The only down side was it was very noisy at night, lots of late night revellers outside which was a bit frustrating when trying to sleep. Otherwise our stay was lovely, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful.

We stayed during a hot spell. The rooms had a fan but it was difficult to cool off. The surrounding area is an active night spot. Just a block away was the red light area, a block in the other direction was decent restaurants. Easy access to the metro.

Nice property overall. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good location, 5 minutes from multiple metro and bus stops.
The room was a little bit smaller than expected and clean enough but finer details had been missed (one pillowcase was ripped and had some staining - did not raise this with staff as it was only minor, some dust and crumbs on floor & surfaces but again only minor). The shower pressure was abysmal but the room had a bath so we just opted for that instead.
As other reviews have mentioned, sound carries well in this hotel and the doors are quite heavy so this could be an issue for light sleepers.

Rooms are spacious for Paris. Air is stifling- no fan, no ac and it was hot. Had to open the window and the noise from the street was loud. Much louder than you’d expect on a dead end street next to a cemetery. No housekeeping, which was just as well but the price of the room was not cheap. Would have been nice to ask? They did extend a late checkout but the morning person was unaware and called asking why are bags were still in the room. There was coffee available after breakfast but could not have milk - that was only for the morning. So, overall it was very average in a great location. I would recommend requesting a room away from the street. The restaurant across the street was delicious. Next time I would explore other options but love the neighborhood. (Go up the stairs - not down to the Blvd)
