We had a room on the eighth floor with a king bed and it was very spacious for Paris - you could have two people leave their suitcases open at all times and still have room to walk around. There were complimentary drinks in the mini fridge, replenished daily - a Coke, Coke Zero and an orange juice. I really enjoyed my stay - we even had a view of the Eiffel Tower - though, fyi, the toilet is in a separate little closet from the shower and sink (emphasis on little - I’m just under 5’7 and my knees almost touched the door. Also, the view comes with a trade off - you can hear random people yelling at four in the morning sometimes. I’m assuming people with rooms facing the courtyard can’t hear them, though then their view isn’t as pleasant. Pros and cons. Located steps from Place de Clichy Metro and countless restaurants and cafes. For anyone wanting to take the metro and RER to the airport early on a Saturday morning - it’s surprisingly hopping in the streets around the hotel at 5:45 am with actual traffic. Lots of people on their way home after a night out, eating in kebab shops, etc.

Room was cramped for two people. The toilet was tiny, there was a danger of banging one's head on the door it was so small. The shower floor was very slippery this could be dangerous.

The hotel is located in Montmartre, right around the corner from Moulin Rouge. There was a train station less than a 5 minute walk and a plethora choices of buses. Let’s start from check in, we were excited to arrive after a long day of travel. Staff was super nice and our room was upgraded upon our arrival. The room is spacious enough to include a king bed and a sofa. The bathroom was large. It is a tub and a bit of a climb into the tub. You should note the toilet is located separately, which is convenient when sharing a room. The bed was super comfortable. We also included breakfast and had the chance to go downstairs during our stay. There is a mix of hot and cold options, coffee machines, yogurt machines, juice, crepes and breads. We enjoyed the selection for breakfast. A nice added bonus was the water fountain available to refill your water bottles. You could choose between sparkling and still water and it was nice and cold. Much needed as Paris was quite hot while we were there. We had a great stay and I look forward to returning.

1. Front door of the hotel was broken.
2. Tried to check-in at 4pm and was told the room was not ready and they are not sure when it would be.
3. Toilet paper holder was hanging from the wall in the room.
4. Hair and a dirty towel were left in the shower.
5. Air conditioning barely worked.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. I booked a king bed at this hotel and when I arrived, they told me they gave my room away and placed me in a hotel right beside it. The other hotel had a lower daily rate. It was much smaller. It was extremely dirty and the bed size was significantly smaller. When I complained to the front desk they told me they weren’t able to help me and to email the hotel, which I did and they just never responded. I followed up with them about two times now. I wouldn’t even recommend this hotel to my arch nemesis. Disgusting.

not all the rooms have decent Wi-Fi – we were in 341 and could not log on - had to move to the lobby area to connect. The water station where you can top up your water bottles for free is great. Metro nearby as our cafés etc so good location. Halal kebab shops close by.

We stayed here 9 nights during May, 2025. We were very pleased with the location, housekeeping and condition of the hotel. One issue is a lack of a common area to enjoy drinking wine, eating bread or fruit. The restaurant patio needs to be downsized to allow for a hot tub(s), gardens and sitting areas. We constantly found ourselves eating our Paris snacks in our room, rather than outside on a patio. The front desk is very attentive locating taxis, laundriess and food options that are within walking distance.

The staff was very professional and welcoming, the convenient of the location is a plus, the hotel is clean and there is always a wonderful smell when you get out of the elevators to your rooms.
But the inconvenience of this hotel is the AC inside the room. You can not go under 19 degree Celsius and it's horrible, the rooms are very hot, so you have to open the windows to refresh it up.
That was the big NO for me.

This is an average property. The first room I was given was totally broken down. The beds were literally broken: saggy, full of bumps, hard as wood. Shower broken. No soap. I got another room the next day that was in working order. (Props to the desk agent who let me lie down on the bed to try it out.) Pros: relatively quiet; good size by Paris standards; decent room in wardrobe; good neighborhood; professional staff. Cons: crazy red and pink decor; rough concrete textured walls; expensive, crowded breakfast. Worst: the hardest beds I've ever experienced. I actually like firm beds, but this was like sleeping on a picnic table. At least it wasn't completely broken down like the first room. All in all, an average stay.

This property was mediocre at best. The towels in the room were threadbare and there were no complimentary toiletries ( shampoo, conditioner ) to use. The hairblow dryer was horrible. The breakfast was decent but nothing special . The front reception staff were useless for any information about tours , restaurants, etcetera. This was all in all a very disappointing hotel and I stayed for 1 week.

Enjoyed my stay but will not return

Our room was a good size with tea and coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, wardrobe, but no drawers and only 1 shelf. The hotel bar is pleasant, nicely furnished, although expensive. 7 euros for a coke.

The hotel staff were friendly, and helpful when asked how to find various places in the city. Before I arrived, I requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel. We checked in, and the process was smooth. We stayed in room 232. Our room was facing the main road at the front of the hotel and was quite noisy.

The next day, I questioned the staff at the front desk about the noise, and I also asked for an extra bed pillow. To my suprise, I was offered a different room straight away and was told it's hotel policy not to allocate extra bed pillows.

Whilst I appreciated being able to change my room, I was left asking myself WHY they didnt do this in the first place? Afterall I checked-in less than 24 hours before. As for the bed pillow, I have never stayed in a hotel and been refused. I always thought it was the staffs responsibility to make sure their guests had the most enjoyable stay? Based on this experience, obviously not.

Had a really lovely break - chose hotel as near to Moulin Rouge and wanted to be safe gong back after the show. Took us an hour walking to get to main City Sights, struggled with Metro which was down the road and enjoyed walking as got to see so much of Paris.

The view from my room was amazing, but the property was a bit lacking. I booked it partially because it had a gym, but the hours were quite restrictive and it was poorly equipped. For the price of the room, I expected more amenities. It was clean, but service was mediocre.

Great value for money and if you pay for breakfast it's really good with lots to choose from. We took taxis to and from all the attractions which was expensive but there was 5 of us . The subway stop outside doesn't have a ticket office - research this before going it would probably have saved us a lot of money x

The shower was awful. It made a mess of water in the bathroom and the temperature went from too hot to too cold on its own. The location was great, but that's it. Would not recommend. I paid extra for a view and we only could see the top of the Eiffel Tower. We also couldn't use the terrace unless we ordered a drink. There was no one else there, and it's not at street level
Guests should be able to sit and relax outside without having to purchase anything.

Our first room was not good
Shower had a huge crack - not very good health, safety or hygienic. Cups had cracks in and when made coffee they leaked !!! Again not hygienic.
Was not what I expected for my 45th wedding anniversary..
When I tried to call reception to ask for new cups 22:30 no answer for 15 mins..
Luckily on the Saturday a very helpful chap call Khalil moved us , upgraded us to a privilege room which was much better..
However I wouldn’t return there

Well connected, on the metro line. Good breakfast selection. Clean, spacious rooms. Fridge included. The staff were so lovely and agreed to leave a birthday surprise for my mom in the room. The only negative for me is that the mattress could have been more comfortable, but even at that, it was fine. Overall, I would absolutely stay again.

The room was spacious compared to other rooms we staying in in Paris and London, which was really nice. The neighborhood that the hotel is in is a little sketchy, but I still felt safe there. You have to have your key to use the elevators, which is nice! And there are 3 elevators of a normal size.

Would never stay here again!

The power went out in our room at about 8:30pm on our first night. It wasn’t until the next day that they offered us a new room. There was no apology and no offer to help us move our bags. We were travelling with a baby so it was a big deal to have no lights in the room over night and pack up and move rooms.

The food at the restaurant was terrible as well.

Just a very over priced hotel who have so many tourists visiting they don’t need to care or even be polite.

Checking in was a dream. A young lady by the name of Fanny and other front desk staff were amazing. Very helpful, however a gentlemen in the dining restaurant was a bit rude. Also the air conditioning doesn't work until June so it was a bit uncomfortable given the humidity and rain making the room very stuffy. The shower and sink areas are awesome. Also love that the hotel has a fresh water station where you can fill your water bottle with cold filtered water. Really special! Overall I enjoyed the stay for the most part. And a block away from Moulin Rouge and a few blocks from Sacred Coeur.

It was an absolutely incredible hotel, with the most friendly and welcoming staff members.
I had such a great time mostly, and absolutely loved the feel of the place from the decor to the spacious rooms and outdoor terrqce area.
The beds were incredibly comfy, and the bathrooms are amasing too, as they are large and the showers are great.

One slight negative was that late one night I came back, and asked for a wake up call, and this did not happen the next morning. However when I addressed thed issue with staff they were very sincere and apologetic. The next morning they called a few times to make sure I did not miss my early train.

I have stayed in this property many times over the last ten years but this time I had to rate it disappointing since I paid for a superior room, but was given a room with a pull-down bed as upon arrival I was told it was the only one available. There were several coach parties staying there, so I was shunted to the first floor instead of my usual upper floor rooms with a view. However, the breakfast was still of a good standard and the staff were friendly and polite.

The hotel restaurant was beautiful and spacious. The wait staff in the restaurant were excellent and helpful. The front desk staff were not as courteous or kind about children. The room was decent sized but still felt a bit cramped. The location was hilly but walkable (a little tough but doable with a stroller due to inclines) but the environment outside the hotel was akin to Brooklyn or Queens in NYC.

We especially booked a Privilege Room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, but was told that it wasn't the room that we booked. After showing them the Orbitz reservation stating Privilege Room with Tower View, the receptionist then blamed that it was Orbitz fault and that Orbitz can't book those types of rooms and that we needed to book the room directly with Mercure Paris Montmartre. Unfortunately, we paid for a Tower View room but didn't get the view. The hotel also had a smoke smell in the lobby and the room which made me and my wife cough a lot. Luckily for us, we had stayed at much better hotels in Paris for 5 of our 6 days there. We only booked here because they supposedly offered a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, but I am not sure if it's false advertising since they did not give us such a room. Paris was awesome, but this hotel was not. So stay away.
