Excellent staff really pleasant and helpful, food was excellent at both breakfast and evening meal, rooms cleaned to a very high standard every day by very friendly staff. We booked a sea view and requested a high floor at check in but unfortunately the Hotel was fully booked so we got more of a tree view than a sea view beside a derelict Hotel on one of the lower floors. We would return to the Hotel International because for the staff and the food and hopefully we will get a better view on our second stay.

Our room had a terrible view of the property roof that is dilapidated. Very sad. Our room has a ceiling leak which leaked onto the tiled floor. Maintenance responded quickly but couldn’t fix it until the next day when we checked out. I feel compensation should have been afforded but I was too exhausted from my travels to be a squeaky wheel. No compensation was offered by the front desk which would have been nice.

Nice hotel but it’s too far from Barcelona it takes me nearly 3 hours by train from airport and change train and apparently by taxi it cost over 100 euros
It’s on the cost side but too far if you are going for 3 days to Barcelona
Expedia should let their customers know about it

This is hotel got my payment in full. After 1 hour pasted when I did my reservation I found out that the location of hotel is 1 hours driving from Barcelona. I asked to cancel this hotel in Colella and reserve the same hotel's name in Barcelona. Expedia said that hotel does not allow to do that. I lost my payment for hotel completely.
I could not cancel my reservation after just made reservation and found out it is not my location where I will landed. Never reserve this hotel. You will lose your money. Shame to Expedia to sell this hotel to costumers.

Pet friendly hotel at its best.

Travelling with my partner, cousin and our dog. They were so welcoming and even had a welcome gift for the dog.
That just set the tone for a great stay. The breakfast selection was very good and tasty. They even didn’t mind having dogs around for breakfast.
If you want a pet friendly place where they are spoiled as music has you then this is the place.
Would definitely visit again and stay longer.

NUNCA EN MI VIDA me he alojado en un hotel que requiera que anuncie a los huéspedes con anticipación con su pasaporte en la mano y que me griten por \"quejas de ruido\" cuando estaba reproduciendo música desde mi teléfono celular que, como cualquiera sabe, es No es lo suficientemente fuerte como para ser escuchado desde el vestíbulo hasta un piso alto. Tenían niños gritando cada hora del día en los pasillos, pero a nadie más se le habló con tanta rudeza como a mí. ¡¿Solo me hablaron una vez e hicieron que pareciera que estaba siendo difícil y tenían que advertirme constantemente como si fuera un niño?! Soy una mujer adulta que trabaja para una empresa prestigiosa y nunca me han tratado tan mal. Confirmé con la policía y el director del hotel que no hice nada ilegal. esa es una afirmación falsa, una difamación y una amenaza que me tomo en serio. No disfruté las pocas noches que tuve a mi novio en mi habitación. el personal de limpieza no llamó antes de entrar. Nunca vuelvo aquí.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay at Hotel International. The overall value was excellent, especially the dining choices and quality for half board. The staff were friendly and efficient and there was no waiting for items at busy dining times.
Our sea view room was good with a decent sized balcony and the hotel was convenient for the beach, shops and restaurants nearby. The train station is a pleasant 10 to 15 minutes walk away.
The hotel areas were clean and welcoming and although the room didnt have a kettle, it was a good size with a comfy bed.
We would definitely recommend this hotel as a base in Calella and would stay again if we ever visit this area in the future.

Suprema room with patio and ocean view. Ocean view was a partial ocean view with slider facing at the side of hotel facing a neighboring abandoned/delapitatied unsightly hotel’s top floor. No view or windows facing the ocean. One of the outside loungers was loaded with bird poop and not cleaned the entire week we were there. Staff amazing and breakfast too!

A truly \"8\" plus rated hotel & \"10\" plus from me

I am always influenced by the rating when selecting the hotel. At just 8 points it was at the baseline for staying at what turned out to be a superb hotel that is worth a higher grading. If you don't want a mini bar in your room, then this hotel can tick all your boxes with a great breakfast offering, through to on-site bar and restaurant to a street side cafe. The location is ideal being on the beach front and also close to alternative eating houses and bars. I found each and every staff member I came into contact with, a true credit to the hotel. When I return to the area, I will have no hesitation to book again.

It’s not perfect, rooms are standard, Hotel pool is small, roof terrace for a handful of loungers, food is typical of hotel buffet but good variety. I’d recommend exploring the many local restaurants over full board ……..but when you get to the beach OMG !!! …you will never want to go home. Fantastic for the price.

The hotel was near the beach. It was september and it was not very crowded so i liked it a lot. The hotel was big and the staff was really kind (from manager to the waitresses). The room was clean and they clean it everyday. We booked a room for 3 people Full board and the food was great.
You have to pay 10 euros for one week to get Wifi in the rooms, in the hall the wifi is free.

Great value for money!

If you expect five star cuisine and a Hilton-type room for next to nothing, then this is not the place for you, but we found the value for money outstanding, the staff hardworking, helpful and friendly and the location amazing. There is a good rounded selection for the buffet breakfast - hot foods like sausages (also local ones), bacon, eggs, then cold cuts, cheeses, salads, cereals, fruit, things for the sweet-toothed, a coffee machine, and although the juices were not ‘fresh’ there was still a good selection. The room was not massive, but it was functional and the sea view from the balcony was gorgeous. The hotel is well located for bars, restaurants, shops and right by the beach, and near a train station. The only downsides were that the beds were very squeaky and dipped in the middle and due to the train line right outside and late night music nearby it was quite loud, but if you go out for drinks or have spent the day walking and/or taking in the sea breeze at the beach you should be able to sleep through anyway! They have somewhere to store baggage and have a shower on your check out day, which is also useful as check out is, unfortunately, at 10am. The bar serves a wide selection of drinks and very reasonably priced for a hotel. I would happily go back here.

Location good but that’s about it. Our room was not clean at all. Hairs in the bath and sink, bedding blanket stained, hairs on sheets, only lighting in room was two small lamps above the bed and one in bathroom. Bathroom had no form of ventilation and had an awful smell. Had Octoberfest in our hotel which we had no knowledge of prior to booking which resulted in some very poor band music being played till 11.30/12.00 at night with lots of shouting and cheering going on after each time. Questioned hotel about this and they said it was only one night but unforgettable band couldn’t have got the memo as it continued till they went home. Could not use roof terrace a group of teenagers always up there with a boom box playing German rap music constantly from morning to night. Told hotel about this who said they knew and they would be going home soon. Bit put off the breakfast buffet after seeing the head waiter coughing in front of the food without putting his hand over his mouth then getting a serviette and spitting into it then carried on touching plates etc. All in all, Calella was lovely but will not be going back to this hotel ever again.

Comfortable and clean hotel with great food buffet

Although this hotel has only two stars it is actually as comfortable and clean as three star hotel. The location is great, our room had a gorgeous view of the sea and the beach is only a few minutes of walking distance. The distance to walk to the train to go to Barcelona is about 15 minutes of walking, but it is not bad at all since the walk is through the shopping area. The train to Barcelona takes about 1 hr. We went to the city 4 days out of 6. The city is very cozy and there are a lot of tourists from all over the world. The food was great. We loved dinner the most, breakfast was also pretty good. The menu changed a little bit every day. The persons at the lobby change but all of them were very helpful. The hotel is very clean and we had no complains. Overall we had a great stay.

A great location. Swimming pool is a bit on the small side. We stayed on a B/B package, variety of choices basic but OK. Rooms are OK slight noise from neighbors and the train that runs close to the hotel. Nice friendly staff. The lifts are very busy after mealtime. Would recommend this hotel as very good value for money.

lovely location. hotel clean with lovely helpful staff. would definitely return. there was always something you could eat from the starter section and the main course section. the Catalonians are not big on puddings so don't expect much but it was all very well presented and very clean. the Mexican night was lovely with a shot of tequila, fahitas, chilli and spare ribs, it was really well done with a good atmosphere. it is a two star hotel because if you get an interior room then you are directly opposite another hotel but this was no problem to us as we don't use the room that much.but if you like to sit on your balcony a lot and want a sea view/pool view then pay extra for this. it is right opposite the beach and near to the town with some good bars. the luna guada restaurant is very good in the town and the snack bar to the left of the hotel (looking on it from the beach) was very good. the pool was small but welcoming. the sunbeds on the beach were four euros each all day and this is including a beach bar drink. we had a wonderful time at the resort and loved this small friendly hotel.

No geral, é um ótimo hotel, com bom quarto e funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos. O pequeno-almoço possuía várias opções, acredito que deve agradar diferentes gostos.
As únicas observações que faço para quem está pensando em reservar: a acústica entre quartos não é boa... Por duas noites ouvimos sons dos casais dos outros quartos... Além de que pela manhã também se ouvia todo arrastar de malas e dos objetos durante a limpeza dos quartos.
A outra questão é relativa a localização, para quem vem de trem a partir de Barcelona, são mais uns 20 min de caminhada após chegar na Estação de Calella. Fora a distância maior com relação ao trem, o hotel está muito bem localizado próximo ao acesso para a praia, e a muitas opções de restaurantes e lojas.
Considerando o custo-benefício, mesmo com estas observações, eu voltaria a reservar lá!

Séjour de Quatre nuits en couple très très agréable. Personnel très chaleureux, très prévenant. Je suis personnellement en situation d'handicap et souffrant d'une maladie m'obligeant à un régime particulier, on m'a tout de suite proposé de me faire d'autres plats. J'ai trouvé cela formidable. Cependant, nous avons été gêné à cause du bruit extérieur, des chambres avoisinantes et du couloir, car mal insonorisé.
Sinon, buffet du petit déjeuner très complet et copieux, quant à celui du soir, copieux mais il 'ous a manquer des plats typiques espagnol, tel que la célèbre paella...

We stayed on the sixth floor and the outside view was amazing! The hotel is very clean,pet friendly and they gave us a small present for our furry friend. The breakfast and the food is served in a buffet. The prices are very low because of the season we went. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The beach is right across the street and there is also a pool in the premises. The only small problem we encountered was with the parking. It was a big difficult to find a free spot after evening.

Hôtel sympa, bien situé.
Le personnel est accueillant, et parle français.
Notre chambre triple était propre, mais un peu vieillotte. La literie était très bien.
La salle de bain simple, mais fonctionnelle avec baignoire.
Le parking est payant en supplément, les places sont limitées.
Le petit déjeuner compris dans le prix de la chambre est un buffet : il y en a pour tous les goûts, sucré, salé. En salle le personnel est sympa et fait son possible pour satisfaire les clients.
Le bar de l’hôtel est super, avec une ambiance très sympa le soir.

My mother and I had a great experience at Hotel Internacional. The room is nice and cleaned everyday. The distance to the beach and the pool is a big plus. Big thank you to Dolores at the reception, she is so nice and keeps everything rolling around the hotel. At the buffet we were nicely served by Saloua, Ali, Angel and Jo-Maria. There was enough food and everything was refilled on time. Overall we had a pleasant stay and we will recommened this hotel to everyone. Hope to come back very soon!!

Meilleur hôtel que j’ai fait avec mes enfants depuis que je vais en Espagne, personnel top toujours souriant et gentil, j’espère revenir dans cette hôtel et obtenir la même chambre 😉 merci encore

Les chambres sont propres, mais déco datée. Salle de bain peu pratique, aucune tablette pour poser des choses. Buffet du soir et petit déjeuner assez médiocres, rien à voir avec les photos. Mal insonorisé, on entend la rue et à l'intérieur les clients éméchés.
