Charming boutique Hotel

This hotel is everything I look for in a boutique hotel. It was perfect and charming in a fantastic neighborhood outside of the heavily tourist areas yet close to a metro station that will get you pretty much anywhere. We stayed for five nights and we were very comfortable. The room while small was clean, perfectly laid out and space used wisely. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

A big thank you to the wonderful front desk staff, especially Masud and Serge, for their professionalism and pleasant demeanor. I appreciate having a staffed front desk at all hours for safety because not all boutique hotels do that. Lastly, the room attendant and house keeping staff do a great job, keeping the property clean and well maintained.

Lastly, breakfast is available for guests convenience for €13 and has a wide variety and assortment of food. The area has many restaurants and cafés so you can certainly pick up your own your own food which is what we did most days.

I loved coming back to this hotel and neighborhood after a day of adventuring in Paris. The neighborhood is safe with many amenities, restaurants, and, lovely store fronts.

Without a doubt, I would stay here again and I highly recommend that you book your stay here as well.

Love the location. Near Rome station. Hip restaurants around. Boutique feel having 4 rooms per floor. The theme Mondrian is reflected beautifully from the lobby to the room. Nice room amenities. Friendly staff .

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at. When I checked in the girl at the desk gave me my room key. When I walked in the room it still hadn’t been cleaned from the night before so then she said “oops, I guess it’s not ready yet. Come back in a little while”. They lock the doors at night. I came back to the hotel around 12:30pm and had to ring the doorbell for someone to let me in. I rang it a few times. Then the doorman came over to let me in with the zipper of his pants undone like he had just put pants on. There were red ants in the bathroom sink. Elevator only holds one person. I left at 6am to catch a flight and I had to wait for someone to unlock the door to let me out. My Uber almost left me because it was taking too long to get out the door of the hotel. 2 star hotel on its best day.

Great location, good ameneties, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly service(except from one guy, who was a bit of a d&$k). The only problem was my room, #81, had no windows, I had to sleep with the door open into.the courtyard to get any air. Despite repeated requests, they would not move me. I guess someone has to have to worst room and if it had been made clear on the booking process that I was getting a room without windows at a discounted price, then I may well have chosen it. As it was, I thought I got yet another bad end of the deal as a solo traveller. Other than that, I thought it was a great hotel for the price.

I understand you don’t need to provide the water but I wouldn’t charge that much for something you can get for €0.70... and maybe get do not disturb signs as cleaner did come in first day but that didn’t phase us up

Many stays at Hotel Du Mont Dore

I have stayed in this hotel since August 2000. I have recommended it to my family and friends because of its cleanliness, price and location. I have seen many decorating changes throughout the years. All have been nice. On this visit I reserved a room for my sister and it was very unsatisfactory (#83 by the cafe). It was smelly like sewage, the door did not lock properly and there were no shelves or closet to store her belongings. The opaque glass door allowed too much light in the room, and didn't give her a sense of privacy. There was a lot of remodeling during our stay. My room (#16 or #12) was satisfactory. However I had reserved a twin room, not single bed. It was not available when we arrived. We got a small refund for the difference. I was told our breakfasts were included when I booked the room. When I checked out I was told they were not. I paid for them upon departure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the young man who checked us in. The rooms were very clean with new linens. The convenience of the airport shuttle was very nice! After all these years, I believe the next time I visit Paris I will choose a different hotel in the same area.

Good choice, you will not regret.

This hotel is very good, a few blocks from the subway, a few stops from the Louvre Museum. When you make reservations, make sure you request a room next to the elevator or you will have to go up pulling your bags. Also there are two very good restaurants coming out on the left of the Hotel, one block in the same direction there is a store for getting good fruit and wine if you must. Finally, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

When we arrived, the lobby and garden were in the middle of construction, offering no semblance of comfort or any of the amenities we were promised. Although the first concierge we talked with was incredibly helpful, the rest of the people that we interacted with ranged from apathetic to plain rude (one time the hotel was even locked, a person came by and unlocked it in 5 minutes but when it’s midnight and you want to go home, that’s insane). Rooms are clean and nice, but there was no kitchen facility at all (no fridge or water boiler), the kitchen sink barely ran, and the WiFi struggled to support two people on their phones doing basic functions. Area surrounding the hotel is beautiful & safe and actually one of our favorite Parisian neighborhoods and transport around Paris is incredibly easy due to the proximity of metro stations and bus stops. However, of the 4 days we stayed there, 3 days we opened the elevator door (tiny elevator just as an FYI it’s Paris) and it would be full with cleaning supplies and vacuums. We were on the fourth floor, so this was very annoying on most days until our last day, when we had 3 suitcases and the situation went from annoying to angering. Our stay in Paris was lovely, but a hotel under this much construction should either be closed right now until renovations are over or be offering the guests compensation and/or an alternative method of receiving the amenities they were promised.

Outstanding staff, really, it’s definitely a hotel I’d book again. Would’ve given it a 5/5, but they were under renovation and it is difficult to review it, however, I heard no construction noise throughout and the public areas were incredibly clean inspite of construction works. This shows how great they are. The area is great if you don’t like to run into too many tourists and the metro (Rome and Place de Clichy) are only 5 min away. There’s also a few shops around with great food offerings (french and international). Brilliant placement!

Overall i cant really complain about the hotel. It was as expected, small but cozy, decently clean, rather sufficient for our needs. On the other hand i have to condemn the breakfast. At 10 euro a person you would expect a fulfilling breakfast as advertised but no, we were very limitted. There was breads and jam to studf yourself on, 2 types of cereal (really ordinary kinds) , as well as only plain yogurts which we couldnt eat because it was left out of the fridge to long and was filled with clumps (started going bad).. we were given 1small cold pancake each and 1 boiled egg each (2 people) and when we asked for more obviously seeing as how we were hungry, we were told there was no more pancakes or eggs even though breakfast was ending 2 hours later. If we had it bad i can just imagine those who ate after us.

Our room was locate in the garden main floor, no AC and I understand that most of Paris does not have AC units so beware of that, the bathrooms are small and hot, and the sink was clogged. Luckily we had a cool night so it was not as bad, but able to stay in the room on a hot day. I was unaware of a $3.60 euro daily charge and $10.00 a day for breakfast. The walls a paper thin so if you're a light sleeper you may want to look elsewhere.

No air, no room to move or to change clothes in the room, staircase very dangerous, bathroom really not convenient, no lift in the second part of the hotel, in short russian blog about this hotel were really right to say better to throw your money to this hotel and to sleep outside, what a shame!!! They are saying to have 3 stars but I and my friend would not give them even one. The neighbour is really not good: Africa of the 50's!!! Even taking a shower was pretty dangerous and my friend who is a neuro-surgeon abstrain himself to take one and was afraid of getting scabies.

Convenient, no-frills hotel in Batignolles

Quiet location, not far from the nearest Metro station. Room is simply furnished. No tea/coffee-making facilities in room. Breakfast at 7 Euros a head is not worth the money - pop to a local cafe for something cheaper and better.
While I was there, workmen in the courtyard were working throughout the day, so the buzz of an electric saw was a constant nuisance... even early on a Saturday morning.
Reception staff were polite and helpful.

Bed was made in 2nd room sent to, but did not see any bed sheet outside any rooms so wan't sure when/if/how often they change it. That was around noon time. And they charge early check-in fee.

Mon avion ayant été retardé je suis arrivé à l'hôtel plus tard que prévu et j'ai eu un des meilleurs accueil que j'ai vu , et je voyage beaucoup , d'une propreté sans faille et on dort bien sans bruits extérieurs après un long voyage. Bravo désormais je réserverai toujours cet hôtel lors de mes séjours en France. Le metro est a proximité et la gare Saint Lazare aussi.

Le personnel est disponible et très aimable, c’est appréciable
Dommage que nous ayons eu une chambre au rez de chaussée donnant sur une petite cour intérieure : aucune lumière naturelle, sensation d’étouffement au seins même de la chambre et odeur de canalisation vraiment désagréable. La chambre était néanmoins au calme.

Attention, l’hôtel n’a pas de parking. Il faut stationner dans un parking partenaire situé à 5 minutes à pieds.

Séjour d’une nuit à l’hôtel, particulièrement agréable, notamment grâce aux dames de service, souriantes, accueillantes et avec la volonté de satisfaire le client.
Un réceptionniste en revanche très maladroit dans sa communication, avec erreur dans l’attribution de la chambre (chambre ne correspondant pas à celle réservée et remise en question de la réservation effectuée).
Toutefois, ce séjour était très bon, l’hôtel est correct, bien situé et le personnel tient à ce que vous passiez un agréable séjour. Merci.

La posizione è ottima perchè vicina a due linee della metropolitana e anche alla stazione dei treni; se ti piace camminare, puoi raggiungere a piedi anche il centro e Montmartre!
Lo staff è sempre molto gentile e disponibile.

Devo però far notare che la descrizione della camera non corrisponde alla realtà: non vi è la cassetta di sicurezza né minibar né un distributore di the e caffè gratuito (come si può invece pensare dalle foto e dal testo). Inoltre, la camera doppia superior ha uno stanzino piccolissimo separato con il water senza finestre né ventole per il ricambio dell'aria e dalla parte opposta della camera vi è un'altra parte con solo doccia e lavandino; consiglio quindi una doppia standard e non superior!

Tout s'est très bien passé, nous avons séjourné un nuit, il faisait très chaud dehors. Nous avions une fenêtre qui donnait sur la cour, c'était très calme. Nous avions également à disposition 2 ventilateurs.

Paris entres amis pour visites et cabarets. Michel

nous sommes restés 3 jours à Paris dans le cadre de visites et soirées festives. Bien reçu, personnel accueillant à tous les niveaux, petits déjeuners avec bon buffet, chambres propres avec tv, et ouvert 24h sur 24 . Excellente literie et quartier calme . Près de tout , métro, magasins, restaurants . avec un parking à 600 mètres pour garer la voiture à l'abri.

Entre les murs de 1 mm vous permettant de participer aux ébats de vos voisins et de visualiser la position et l’odeur pestilentielle provenant des canalisations de la sale de bain et je passe l’insonorisation extérieure compte tenu de l’intérieur..
