Lovely hotel integrated within buildings previously a large industrial site, creating an interesting juxtaposition between industrial past and current first class hotel. Our room was large with an amazing view of the fiord. Service was excellent. Restaurant and bar provided great choices of high quality food and drink. So glad we had the chance to stay here.

It was a very disappointing experience - it’s not worth the price at all. We did not get any of the excursions we wanted because it was booked out or weather. They also don’t allow you to book ahead of your stay, so you’re at their mercy. We ended up doing our own excursions with outside companies who had plenty of availability or by renting a car. The staff also miss critical requests like to go breakfast (which is offered), would bring out wrong dishes to dinner, didn’t offer us a ride from the airport despite having 5-10 hotel cars parked outside and the ride is 5 minutes etc etc. It’s just not a 5 star experience that we were hoping for on our honeymoon.

Very clean rooms with wonderful views. The excursions made our experience very special. Gonzalo and Franco were excellent guides. A few hotel staff members stood out to us. We will always remember them, it was Fernando at the bar, Camilla, Javiera and Max. We always enjoyed seeing them during our stay.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the service at this hotel does not match its price. While the location and design are both top-class, the poor service completely ruins these advantages, along with guests’ vacation experience. The hotel’s operations team is unprofessional and fails to meet even basic service standards, let alone make guests feel comfortable or welcomed. A significant portion of the staff come across as cold and unhelpful, leaving guests confused and frustrated—especially at the front desk and in the restaurant, where the indifferent attitude is particularly puzzling. This unpleasant experience led me to cancel Singgular Santiago, and I will not be returning in the future.

We stayed for 4 nights at The Singular Patagonia. The owners and architects went all the way to transform this former meat processing plant into a luxury hotel. The presence of the old equipment is magnificent, and the views are spectacular. Running a hotel operation at such a remote location is very challenging. Creating an experienced service team is almost impossible, especially having the hotel closed 4 months per year. Although the staff is very friendly and helpful we experienced service issues every day. From an overheated bathroom to no water and from very slow check-in and F&B service to incorrect F&B items. To mitigate this service risk, it would require stronger guest service-oriented management and more automation (such as tablets for waiters). For this reason, we decided to skip The Singular in Santiago but would recommend to try-out the one in Patagonia, taking the above into consideration.

If I could give ten stars on this review, I will. Mark from the Concierge Desk went above and beyond to ensure I enjoy my stay at the hotel as well as my trip in Chile. I unfortunately lost my cellphone at the Santiago airport before boarding my flight to Puerto Natales. After arriving at Singular Patagonia late in the afternoon, I asked for help to buy a new phone before going to the park on the second day. Mark immediately realized that because the 2nd day was Easter holiday, and stores would be closed, I only had less than one hour to ensure I have a phone during the trip. He called the electronic stores to ensure they were open and the type of phone I looked for was available. A taxi was arranged to drive me to the electronic store and drive me back after i complete the purchase. Because of Mark and the team, my trip in Chile completed with sweet memorable and good pictures. Singular Patagonia will always be my 1st choice when visiting Puerto Natales again. What's more: The view from the room was stunning, even more beautiful than the picture shows. The breakfast offerings were nutritious and convenient to start a day. Thank you, Mark. Thank you, Singular Patagonia.

The Singular is a beautiful hotel. What an experience! The staff is amazing! 5-Star all the way. Great views from the panoramic window out across the water and into the snow capped mountains. By far the best of Puerto Natales, if not all of Chile!

By no means worth the price. I had a very long check-in delay and watched many other travels arrive later than me check in and get rooms earlier. Management then tried to gaslight me by saying that they “upgraded my room” for the inconvenience when I had already rented the most expensive room in the hotel. They didn’t even bother apologizing. Also the king beds are two twin beds which is disappointing and not as comfortable as a true king — which is what I had thought I paid for. By no means a 5 star hotel by Western standards.

Best hotel in Chilean Patagonia

This was our 2nd time at the Singular in Puerto Natales. First stay was in 2013.
I must say, this property is amazing and def one of my favs in South America.
We were a little disappointed with the service at the restaurant this time. The wait staff didn’t seem to be well trained and informed about their own menu.
The organized tours were great - great attention to detail.
If in Chilean Patagonia, I would def recommend splurging a bit and staying here.

Wow what a hotel! Converted from a slaughterhouse to a hotel. An amazing place. Staff were incredible. Restaurant was amazing. Facilities were excellent. We did not realize it was all inclusive. Many guided tours in the area all included with your stay. A must stay in Patagonia!

The Singular is a beautiful hotel with a very interesting history. The staff are fantastic, trained to know each customer by name. The rooms are large, spacious, and clean. The food is delicious. Don’t eat at the bar.. the experience in the dining room is significantly more polished. The spa is small, but nice. I did one excursion with Valentina/Nicholas, and they were excellent guides. The hotel is short drive or 45min walk into town.. highly recommend spending a little bit of time in Puerto Natales town.

Location and service was incredible. Only complaint was the lack of comfort in the rooms - the views are beautiful, but the lack of air circulation and air conditioning resulted in some pretty uncomfortable sleep conditions. Even though the staff brought in a fan for us, it was not enough to cool down the very hot room.

The right hotel in Puerto Natales

Fabulous staff. Good food. But you have to be prepared for vast dark spaces with an eerie past. I had the sense they'd market to Chileans for far lower rates, and rates can vary tremendously. I would stay inside the park next time as distances are huge. Pillows were hard, expeditions very pricy with instant coffee on offer. Bu5 people who work there couldn't be nicer and that says a lot.

Great hotel, disappointing staff!

very spacious rooms, well kitted out with great views across the bay. Food is fantastic as is dining room. Hotel itself steeped history and there is a museum onsite. Spa is modestly sized but well equipped. Unfortunately, the hotel is let down by the inconsistent attitude of its staff both in hotel and in restaurant. Check in was longer than necessary, due to problems with card machine and the receptionist’s irritability showed clearly when she thought our card was the problem. It was resolved simply by her changing the currency to be charged on her machine. We then went straight to Dinner wjich went well and the food was superb as was the service. Next morning, breakfast went off relatively well though we did ask one waitress of they had a small bag so that we can take some pastries with us on our long journey to the Perito Moreno glacier, to which she curtly replied “sorry we dont have any left” and duly walked off. We then asked a second waiter and he then kindly provided them for us. The trick here is to always ask 2 people the same thing! There were other instances of poor service from the staff especially given the price you pay for the staying there. Buyer beware! The service is not up to scratch for a 5 star establishment.

Very disappointed we found the service at the front desk to be mediocre (the other staff were fine) they were not very helpful in fact gave some bad advice. A hotel near the Torres Paines should have good maps for people to use. There tour guide was less than helpful They obviously want everyone to use their tour service so being on your own is not the best The Wi-Fi service was terrible. Their first excuse was the clouds ( ridiculous) then the fact they had many rooms ( ridiculous) For the prices they charge they need to make the service better and more welcoming and fix their Internet. I would only recommend coming to visit the place have a drink look around and stay elsewhere

Amazing experience at unique hotel

The Singular is simply an amazing place. By the time you walk in, you realise that every effort has been made and a lot of local knowledge and passion has been used to convert a historical site into a luxurious hotel for guests and visitors. The rooms are stunning and the view from the rooms is georgeous. The bar and restaurant are beautifully designed and offer high quality food and drinks. The Spa with dry and wet saunas is very nicely located too, however the pool area could be a bit more spacious. Overall an unforgettable experience.

A most unique experience!

The food is amazing. All the public spaces are decorated with taste and reflect the theme of the hotel which was a former meat-packing factory. Wonderfully comfortable and tasteful. You drive your car right into the reception area which was a former horse and cow stable! The Singular was a nice stop half way between Punta Arenas and Torres del Paine.

The hotel is in a great location and has built itself with a special character: a ex-meat processing factory!
The scenery is memorable, the food and service are first class. We took a tour of Tores del Paine with the hotel and were very satisfied;our guide and driver were very knowledgeable and willing to handle our unique requests for picture and contemplation.

Beautiful room, view, restaurant and spa. The hotel forgot to book our $400USD transport to the airport. On the river cruise we did the boat broke down and we were 3 hours late back to hotel. The staff on the boat managed the breakdown very well however there was no recognition from the hotel. The excursions are very expensive and not always available. Torres Del Paine national park is nearly 3 hours away adding 5 to 6 hours driving to the day. I would suggest a short stay only to see the local sights like the Mylodon caves and Puerto Natales.

The setting of this resort is unlike anything I've seen. The history of the factory, the ability to preserve and repurpose equipment and building materials, the beauty of the setting all combine together to make singular unforgettable. It is well worth the time to experience it in ones lifetime.

This hotel was beyond incredible. This cold storage plant that was converted into a museum and then a hotel is incredible. The rooms are huge with amazing views, beautiful furnishings and an incredible bathroom with deep soaking tub. The Spa was also fantastic, especially the facials. But the highlight for us was the bar and restaurant. The food was out of this world (prepared in an open kitchen) and served in a very cozy and warm restaurant with fantastic bar and lounge. The staff could not be better. This is the best customer service we have had in Chile. The staff is happy and love their jobs. You can definitely tell. Every staff member knew who we were and what we expected from the service. Unbelievable hotel!!!!! Don't miss the opportunity to go.

Pretty spectacular set-up, worth the price just for the views out the bedroom window (which is one entire wall!). I loved the historical aspects of the building. The tours were very good but expensive if not taking the full board option.

Beautiful, but still some logistical kinks

Absolutely stunning location, and well appointed facility done in what my fiance called a \"rustically elegant\" decor. The problem is that Puerto Natales is about 1.5-2hrs away from the national park, and 3hrs away from the nearest big airport (Punta Arenas to the south, although there is a small airport in Puerto Natales). The bigger problem is that the hotel has no working system for signing guests up to take their \"excursions\", which is the cornerstone of their operation. We were there for 5 days, we took took excursions for 4 of them, and they didn't get us signed up correctly for the trip we wanted once. All in all, worth going, just make sure they've got you down for what you want to do.

Singular Hotel Puerto Natales, Chile - great

A very new hotel with great service, beautiful rooms and wonderful meals. An all inclusive rates includes a variety of excursions to choose from with pleasant, informative guides. The hotel was a meat packing plant from 1916 through the 70's, a valuable resource for the area's economy, and the hotel has managed to create a very unique atmosphere maintaining the history of the plant, which is now a World Heritage Site. The architects and designers were very creative and the end result is very impressive.

L’architecture de l’hôtel est magnifique, la vue de la chambre sublime.
Point négatif: Aucun cocktail de bienvenue, aucune explication sur vélo de courtoisie. L’emphase est sur l’omniprésence du personnel pour certains sévices qui n’est malheureusement pas adapté pour une clientèle un peu plus conviviale. Ça créer un malaise la plupart du temps.
