A lil bit of style over substance

Location & aesthetic are great. Novel as it is 6 apartments that are a hotel; located in a block of residential flats. It was easy to check in & the instructions were clear.
Finer details & customer experience leave alot to be desired. Firstly on checking in, you are advised that keys are on the desk & told \"one is for hotel, one for room & one for main door\" - that is pretty obvious however you need to figure out which key is for what. There are 2 similar square keys (& a circular key) - a colour code or even poster advising what key is for which door would be useful. The second issue was that my room fridge didnt work. Rome was 37 degrees. I informed the person via text in the morning & was advised they'd look into it. On returning (6pm) I had to reach out again to get an update as no one had followed up - Fridge was broken. I could really only buy water so nothing that needed to be kept in the fridge. It was so warm that I spent money buying bags of ice to keep juice that I wanted cold. I was actually v. disappointed in the poor communication, the fact that the fridge wasnt tested before & that there was no offer to compensate me for the ice (& thrown out hummus) purchased. On my last day by luck I saw a diff supervisor who was quite shocked & immediately went into the other flat & changed fridges & tested it. I don't know why this wasn't done the day I raised it. It seemed a little unprofessional esp given that you're eagerly reminded to leave the city tax in the room

This hotel was great for our needs, in a quiet area and close to bus stops and metro. The room was comfortable for us as well. This is a great choice to stay but be advised about additional tax after your stay. We were not informed of the additional expense until after we checked in.

Definitivamente no es lo que esperaba, me decepcionó un poco. Las instalaciones no son las más bonitas y el baño luce viejo y descuidado. Es un cuarto pequeño y el que me tocó tenia sólo una ventana y resultaba muy oscuro. Las camas y almohadas son muy incómodas. Por otro lado, la atención y comunicación son muy buenas. Convenient and great staff. The property had many maintenance issues (flooding, dirty shower, non working safe, poor tv, non working refrigerator)and the shower was very moldy. The furniture was old and was not very sturdy. The two additional beds had dirty mattresses and were very thin.

It was a good value for what you are paying for! It is a five minute walk to the train station to get to all of Rome’s sights. It is a bit on the smaller side but it is clean and has great air conditioning. Perfect for exploring Rome!

Couples break to Rome

Lovely independent place, close enough to get around to see all the sites. Small but very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. We would have liked the tea/coffee and mugs to be replaced. After we used them on day one we didn't have anymore for the other days. There was so much noise outside with construction that it was loud but you can't blame the accommodation for that. The hosts were nice and friendly.

Me and my girlfriend liked people who worked there and it was a fantastic position to get to different places, right in the middle of everything, could walk or get the metro, which was around the corner, into the centre. At first it was disappointing as the pictures advertised at first wasn’t what we got but we felt safe, comfortable, the people who worked there were fantastic and with it being Rome we were out most of the day.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Helpful with local details and suggestions of places to visit. Room was a good size with a nice, clean bathroom. Breakfast was much more than expected, delivered to our room at our chosen time. Location is good for the Vatican. We chose to walk everywhere but the Metro was also very close and trams are available. Area felt safe. We were able to store our luggage on the last day.

Good hotel close to Metro Station

Room was reasonable size for Rome. Bathroom was a good size but shower pressure was poor. A lack of any communal space in the ‘apartment ‘ area meant you were confined to your room. The air conditioning was extremely loud when on and not very efficient. The staff members were wonderful, especially Rona who brought the breakfast in the morning along with a lovely warm smile and greeting. She was also very helpful with directions to places of interest. She was a real asset to the place.

Comfortable bed and little else

We chose this hotel for its air conditioning and proximity to the Vatican and a Metro station. The good: the bed was very comfortable, the room very clean, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. They asked what we wanted for breakfast and at what time, and brought it to our room on a tray. The unfortunate: The air conditioner was loud and inefficient, the room backed onto a busy street with a street light right outside the window and only sheer curtains on the window. We had to sleep with ear plugs and eye masks. We discovered an external blind with a hidden internal control on our second day, and were able to sleep without eye masks after that (instructions on the location and operation of the blind would have been helpful). The shower was cramped, had a slippery floor, poor water flow, and no shelf or ledge for toiletries, all of which made showers challenging. The only \"toiletries\" provided were bottles of liquid soap attached to the wall in the shower and at the sink. There is no good place to eat in the room. We put the breakfast tray on the desk and sat at its corners with one chair and one stool. The hotel was close to a Metro stop, giving us good access to the city, but there was little of interest in the immediate area. The hotel claims to be a 14 minute walk to the Vatican Museums, but our experience was closer to a 30 minute walk (moving at a good pace, since we had timed entry tickets). All in all, not as advertised.

Did not stay there because I was lied to about this place,when I booked it. The room on your site is not even the room that is being advertise on your Expedia site nor do they offer any type of breakfast! The man that answered the gate door said that he would have to find us some food in the morning if we stayed! I couldn't call your Expedia establishment because we were out of the country. He(Marco) had a Uber driver go get us from the airport, which we had to pay the Uber driver ourselves , since we did give Marco our credit card number prior to us arriving , the Uber driver didn't want to leave us there because he said he felt it was not safe. We finally ask the Uber driver if he could take us to the Holiday Inn, the man, Marco got upset ,said we HAD to stay there. My husband felt it was strange to have the storage room made it a room with no window, no beds only cots, and Marco front desk the front door to the room. I want my money refunded for this false advertising.

Really nice b&b a stones throw from st Peters squa

Really nice little b&b, was perfect for our couple of days in Rome. It's really close to Vatican City and St. Peter's square so can easily walk there. Very clean with a lovely shower and comfy bed! The staff were very helpful and spent a lot of time explaining to us things to do and see which was brill! I highly recommend!!

The hotel was very hard to find!! We walked around for three hours looking for the address which was incorrect, even incorrect on their calling card. No one at the front desk made it hard to contact anyone, had to do it by e-mail. The room was small, but very lean. The gentlemen that cleaned our room was very pleasant. The little breakfast was nice. For the price of the room is was great:)

what a lovely, clean room we had. it's very quiet as it's in a residential building and the rooms have been converted from a large flat but we loved that. breakfast was brought to our room every morning at our chosen time. 10 minute walk from the vatican and easy public transport right outside. we loved our stay here and when we go back to rome we will be staying here again.

This B&B is in a lovely location - a cute residential area of Rome only a few minutes walk to the metro and to a local strip of restaurants and cafes. The room was clean and spacious, though the shower was a little unclean and the hot water wasn't great.

The staff were wonderful and helpful, and the breakfast was delivered to the room each morning, which was nice.

The heating wasn't great, but the room wasn't too cold overall. For cost-effective, quiet accommodation, this is the place to be.

The staff was very friendly and helped us a lot on our trip. The room was clean and confortable. Beware though, they will only change the towels and bedding every 4 days unless you pay a fee. The shower was also very nice. The breakfast was not fabulous but it was okay. During our stay, the Wi-fi had some problem and didn't always work, it got solve at the end of our stay though. Overall this hotel was fair and I would recommend it.

Rome firstly is amazing and the hotel as small as it would truly gave us the icing on the cake. It's not all glits and glam but what you pay for you get more for. The location is amazing. It's close to the Vatican, granted its a ten minute walk but that gives you time to admire the architecture of Rome. It's very central to great shipping locations and the hop on and hop off tour busses which means spend all day out and then take a scenic walk back to your hotel. It's just lovely. Staff are wonderful, and very helpful. We are staying here again and bringing our friends too.

When in Roma...

My friends and I enjoyed our stay, except for the fact that we didn't have wifi after our first night stay, which made it difficult for us being student travelers. Other than the wifi, we enjoyed breakfast being delivered to our room in the morning. This hotel is a bit difficult to find using google maps and has a different check in method than what we are used to, but over all, not terrible.

My stay in this hotel was good, the person in charge of serving breakfast was very punctual every morning and the cleaning was done properly. One thing I have to say, when I picked this hotel while I was in Los Angeles, to me one of the essential things traveling abroad is to be able to connect with my family trough the internet, unfortunately only the first day I was able to keep in touch with my family in United States because at the second day they gave me another room and the internet never worked in the 7 days that I stayed in the hotel, for that I had to be using my phone data or going to restaurants with wi-fi in order to be in touch with the family, I also mentioned to the manager about the shower head not working properly and was never fixed.

An OK Guest House

Nice place but remember this is a guest house not a hotel so quite basic facilities. My complaint was waiting for nearly 1 hour after we arrived before anyone came to check us in. Mario is a helpful guy and did apologise but not what you want when you 1st arrive. Room was fairly modern but around the shower is full of grime and this needs more attention. it is close to Vatican (20 mins walk) and metro is around the corner. We found that we walked everywhere as it is a good walking city and the guesthouse is close to the river to walk across the bridge into the city, once again about 20 minutes to walk. Overall it was fine, but we would prefer a hotel atmosphere so would probably not stay again, but for others this would work on many fronts.

We stayed just 1 night but everything was perfect, the room was very clean and it has a modern style, the staff speaks english and they are very helpful. The hotel can be a little hard to find but if you call the front desk they will help you find it. It was a pleasant stay! The receptionist was very extra helpful and he would tell us everything we needed to know for our first time in Rome.

The room is nice and clean. They have a little kitchen (but with no cookeries). The bed was very comfy and love the fact that it's air-conditioned! As Rome was really really extra hot when we were there so A/C was very important! The shower was good. And they provide complimentary breakfast every morning and will deliver it to your room.

The hotel is very close to Vatican City which is good! And most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance (10-20 mins). It is very close to the metro station as well. Very convenient!

Centrally located, comfortable hotel

The hotel is conveniently located, 2 mins walking distance to the nearest Metro station. The hotel is located at the ground floor level of a block of residential apartments. We stayed in a family room (one king size bed + 2 single beds) as we have two children. The room is spacious and have all the amendities you need. There is a direct bus route (no 87 near to the metro) to most of the tourist attractions that we used throughout our stay, it's so easy to travel on the buses and have avoided the overly crowded underground trains. The hotel is also 10-15 mins walk to the Vatican City or just hop on any buses on Viale Giulio Cesare or tram no 19 on Viale delle Milizie (westbound).

One thing to be aware of is to let the hotel know in advance your estimated time of check-in on the date of arrival so that the hotel manager could make the necessary arrangement for someone to be there when you arrive. The reception is only open during a specific time during the day so to avoid any difficulties with check-in. We were able to leave our baggage at the hotel on our last day and were given the keys to access the reception area to pick up the bags in here evening.

Overall, we had a wonderful and pleasant stay in Rome. Don't forget to ask the hotel manager for a list of recommended local restaurants as we had the most amazing and reasonably priced Italian meals (fresh seafoods) every day.

Excellent Stay!

Marco is very responsive and informative. Check in was easy. The room with the balcony is clean, big and comfortable. It's pretty quiet as well. Neighborhood is a tree-lined street in Prati. Just few mins from Lepanto station and a Carrefour express. 20 minutes walk to the Spanish steps and about 15 minutes to the Vatican City. Will definitely stay again.

地下鉄も近く、とても便利なロケーションでした。
ナディアはとても親切だったし、部屋も採血で、雰囲気のある宿泊施設でした。
鍵を何個か渡されるのですが、ヨーロッパの施錠は日本人には馴染みのない方法なので、使い方が難しく、開けるのに少し苦労しました。
ただ、これも旅行の醍醐味と思えば楽しく、開けれずに苦労したことも良い思い出です。

Quarto sujo; ar condicionado insuficiente para o tamanho do quarto (não resfriava); frigobar que não gelava nada; chuveiro com pouca vazão de água e que constantemente desligava; café da manhã disponível que era uma piada (não entregaram o que foi combinado - pedimos suco e nos entregavam 4 copos com 50ml cada; pedimos alguma fruta: veio apenas no primeiro dia 2 bananas; pedimos que a entrega do café ocorresse às 7h40min em um dia que tínhamos compromisso e o café chegou às 9h); troca de toalhas apenas cada 4 dias; sabonete líquido disponibilizado fedorento - impossível de utilizar; não forneciam nem papel higiênico (tivemos de comprar).

Non abbiamo molto gradito la colazione consegnata in camera all’orario scelto dai clienti piuttosto che una sala comune dove poter accedere più liberamente. In pratica la sveglia mattutina era dettata dalla prima consegna.

Struttura semplice con ottimo costo e posizione

Ho scelto questa guest house per la posizione molto comoda alla fermata Lepanto della metroA. In 15 minuti a piedi si arriva al Vaticano o in piazza del Popolo. La camera doppia era un po' troppo piccola per stare agevolmente con nostro figlio di sei mesi, molto meglio per una coppia. Avremmo dovuto scegliere una famigliare. Il lettino da campeggio ci è stato gentilmente fornito dalla struttura, senza sovrapprezzo (cosa non comune a Roma). Infine voglio lodare l'assistenza della ragazza alla reception, che si è presa cura di portarci la colazione alle 7 del mattino entrambi i giorni della nostra permanenza, nonostante l'orario normale fosse un'ora dopo. Colazione molto basic, da fare in camera non essendoci spazi comuni. Ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo è veramente ottimo!

B&B in buona posizione e tranquillo. Camera sobria ma ben tenuta e pulita. Problemi non indifferenti sia nell'accettazione (abbiamo dovuto attendere un bel po' prima di vedere qualcuno nonostante avessimo concordato e comunicato l'orario di arrivo) che nella colazione prenotata per la mattina successiva e che non ci è stata fornita (e nemmeno rimborsata). Dopo mezz'ora di attesa ce ne siamo andati.
