Simple but clean room. Staff were not so friendly but neither were rude. So it's a ok experience. Ideal to people that does not spend much time at the hotel and prefers to explore the city. Located in a quiet and peaceful area. 15, 20 minutes to the center by metro.

When you arrive in front of the hotel, it looks run down, but the bedrooms are remodeled, the mattresses excellent, the bathroom with the perfect water pressure and even bathtubs!
I had two issues during my stay: the over the sink light blew up, and a person of the night staff overcharged me an extra person because he didn't get the right transmission from the day staff. They tried immediately to fix the light, but it was more than only the neon, so it had to wait until Monday (not an issue as there were ceiling lights). And after three epic failed attempts to refund my cc for the overcharge, the co-owner decided to give me cash back instead, and even comped the city taxes for the trouble! Plus we laughed a lot. All good.
I had a room at the back, quiet.
Definitely an address to remember.

no A/C, far from Paris attractions- but if you can navigate the Metro etc, you'll have no problems... there was a great Italian restaurant on the block behind the Hotel ! & Hotel was clean ( one of the cleanest bathrooms on my trip ) and there was an elevator ,although very small in size.......

This hotel is literally 3 steps from the metro, it has a decent breakfast. The location is pretty good; walking distance to Père Lachaise Cemetery and Parc des Buttes Chaumont.
It's nothing fancy but it's definitely good value for the money

Amazing Place!

This hotel was great! Every morning there was breakfast for 7.50€ (and it was big and filling in a buffet style). The neighbourhood is safe and right by the metro (1 minute walk)- this was the most important point for me, because I was travelling alone. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. I've done a lot of research about all the hotels around Paris and online it was said that this one is good. So I went with it, and I had such a great trip. Good and hot shower is in the room also. There are groceries stores all over, as well as a bakery. Look no further, this is a good pick, to get right to all the museums (Louvre, Orsay etc) it takes 15 minutes via metro.

Met my needs and expectations

I needed a bargain price hotel near to my brother's place in Paris. This met my needs amply.

The buffet breakfast is great and is served over enough time to have a lie-in and still eat!

There is a lift - good news when bags are heavy.

The staff speak excellent English and were very helpful and polite, keen to make my stay a good one.

The shower was powerful and wonderfully hot. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.

Great spot to discover Belleville

Maybe Belleville isn't for all tourists, but between the Buttes Chaumont, interesting ethnic neighbourhoods, and real-Parisian-living feel of the neighbourhood, I recommend it. The hotel had free wifi (still too uncommon in European hotels), the room was clean if not a little small, and it was right on the metro. On the weekends, the square can get a little loud, but you didn't come to Paris to go to bed at 10, did you?

Good for a stopover

Suited us fine for one night passing through Paris, and would be great for anyone who only wants a bed and bath. Small but adequate room with full bath, fridge, safe, and TV. Our room looked out on old church which respectfully kept the bells quiet during the sleeping hours. Very easy to get to, only a few steps from the Jourdain metro station. Neighbourhood felt safe to me. My daughter loved the spiral staircase to the 6th floor. My husband less so when carrying bags. But this is Paris.

I stayed overnight at this place. The hotel was old with a very small elevator. The room was old and small, worse than a motel in the US. The position of the toilet was weird. The seat overlapped right below the sink, and it was quite challenging for me, even a petite size woman to use it. The shower is also small. I will not come back to this hotel.

Great little hotel with very friendly staff who speak English - room was small with three of us but it was ok. Definitely the smallest lift I've been in - you go in friends and come out engaged!
Ok breakfast.
Good neighbourhood, very safe with a friendly bar under the hotel serving good coffee and beer.
30 minutes on the Metro into the city center with one change but stations all along the tourist route from the Louvre to Arc de triumph
Highly recommended.

The price was right (for Paris) and proximity to a Metro stop (Jourdain, exit #2) couldn't have been better. It's not the nicest part of town, nor handy to attractions, but everything could be reached via subway or bus. Room was compact and utilitarian. It did contain a much-appreciated mini-fridge, so with a grocery just up the street, we saved a bit on breakfast and evening snacks. Window panes made the room sound-proof, but needing to keep them open for ventilation yielded lots of late-night noise from the bar below, and early-morning noise from garbage trucks and motorcycles. Handy city transport maps available at check-in. Probably would not stay here again, but it served our purposes when lodging was not available in the area we originally sought.

Nice neighborhood and about 40 steps from the subway. The subway in Paris is incredible and easy to use. Get a multi-day pass. Nice hotel, always attended. The lift is small, but hey it's an elevator. Actually everything in Paris is small, even the people are all thin. Definitely explore the surrounding neighborhood. Many places to buy pastries, cheese, and dining. I would stay here again when in Paris.

Was a very pleasant stay and appreciated our room being serviced every day. Management was very helpful with directions especially the lady. Best thing of all was the lift a rarity in Paris hotels. Location was also perfect few metres from Jourdain Metro. Highly recommend as value for money. Small draw back, a little noisy if patrons at bar below were loud and garbage trucks made a lot of noise early morning.

Nice hotel with lots of atmosphere.

The elevator is so tiny that we had to take turns going up with our luggage. The alternative was a small spiral staircase. We didn’t mind. We liked the atmosphere. The room was small but clean with comfortable beds. The closet was small. Even though it was July and very hot, they provided a fan and it kept us cool and comfortable. Also the sound of the fan helped cover the sound of people at the bar below our window. The bar sounds and traffic sounds woke us now and then but we just considered it part of the atmosphere and went back to sleep. We slept well. The church bells didn’t disturb us either. The staff were very nice and helpful. We used the metro and the entrance is just steps from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Three nights of noise

I stayed for 3 nights in late June, 2013. The hotel itself was ok, although the room lighting was so dim it made reading difficult. The worst thing was the noise from the street and church (bells) across the street, which made sleeping very difficult and the stay unbearable. The hotel is located at a busy intersection of Rue de Belleville, a very noisy street that locals seem to use for drag racing at 4am.

Slept there for three nights, and everything was working well. Everyday the room was cleaned and sheets changed etc. You walk right out of the door and into the metro, but the local area around the hotel is also very charming.
We booked a double room, and didn't want any luxury at all, but it would be really dissapointing to get a room with mold, bedbugs or dirty beds - so I filtered away hotels if they had just a single really bad review mentioning mold or dirty rooms etc. I also wanted to live in the 19th or 20th arrondisement. I made my reservation a week before arrival and this was the cheapest hotel I could find after filtering. I found it a little expnsive (30% higher than the cheapest in the area), but everything was way above my minimum-standard.
The staff very helpfull. There is a receptionist all night, we got a wifi-login for each wifi-device we brought, and they spoke good english.

C est une bonne adresse pour un court sejour: il est bien situé, dans un quartier dynamique, avec de multiples cafes, restaurants et boulangeries,au pied du metro jourdain. La chambre au 5eme etage, bien que petite etait confortable, calme, avec une jolie vue sur l eglise de la place.
L accueil etait egalement convivial. Un bemol, la reception et la salle du petit dejeuner qui restent sombres et sentent un peu la cigarette.
Mais l ensemble reste positif et nous y retournerons.

Séjour convenable pour un 2 étoiles. Hôtel en cours de rénovation. La propreté peut être améliorée au niveau des espaces communs et de la chambre. Difficulté de communication avec l'accueil (bruit dans ma chambre, information que quelqu'un passerait, la personne n'est pas passée, refus de me donner une facture portant seulement sur le montant que j'ai payé, puis finalement facture fournie). Une formation sur l'accueil clients et le gestion émotionnelle pourrait être un vrai plus pour cet hôtel.

Hôtel peu cher qui fait l'affaire pour une ou deux nuits mais pas plus. Nous sommes arrivés dans la chambre il restait un sac poubelle plein. Nous sommes allés le signaler, le gérant l'a immédiatement retiré en s'excusant, donc sympa mais un peu moyen. Ensuite l'oreiller sentait clairement le parfum de quelqu'un pareil le gérant l'a changé. Il y avait une fenêtre sans volets donc ,leo jour et les lumières parisiennes qui entrent. La chambre (11 de mémoire) est collée au la douche de la chambre d'à côté, si le voisin prend une douche c'est comme si vous utilisez étiez. Donc des points au revoir mais personnel sympa et tarif intéressant.

Le personnel est très aimable, l'hôtel est tout à fait correct pour Paris à un prix particulièrement bon marché. Décidément un bon point de chutte pour de courts séjours parisiens. Une partie des chambres a déjà été rénovées, le reste pour bientôt. J’étais dans une ancienne chambre mais très bien entretenue.

Considering the price the hotel was very satisfying in terms of location, service, hygene and stuff. We stayed in a double room in the first floor for 6 nights. They cleaned the room everyday. They changed the towels. The cleaning lady was very kind and cute. It was also warm. It was easy to access everything; market, metro, restaurants, city centre, bakery. Neighbourhood was very safe as well. Definetely recommending it. No need to pay a lot just for the sake of a big breakfast. Only negative thing was the blanket having been covered with a sheet. But it was ok.

Tento hotel můžu doporučit. Na krátkou návštěvu Paříže zcela dostačující, vedle se nachází stanice metra, což je ideální na výlety po městě. Čistá postel, teplá voda, sprcha, wifi, každý den uklizený pokoj. Jediné mínus je ruch a troubení aut z ulice pod oknem, ale to je prostě Paříž.

La struttura risulta un pó angusta e comunque datata. Peraltro l’hotel è sopra un locale che di sera è rumoroso e frequentato da soggetti alticci o fumati. Il personale dell’albergo non è troppo espansivo. Attenzione ai prezzi. Mi è stata fatta pagare una tariffa diversa da quella riportata in prenotazione. Non è stata data una spiegazione nel loro inglese minimo dicendomi che mi avrebbero accreditato la differenza. Cosa mai avvenuta. Unico aspetto positivo è la vicinanza con la metropolitana.

Für einen Kurztrip ganz okay!

Wir waren zwei Nächte dort. Das Hotel liegt im 19. Bezirk, etwas außerhalb der Innenstadt. Die nächste Metro ist aber direkt am Hotel. Dadurch eignet sich das Hotel für einen Kurztrip bestens.
Der Preis war super und man darf die Anspüche nicht zu hoch ansetzen. Wer viel Komfort sicht ist falsch dort. Ansonsten kann man es empfehlen.

Sehr gut gelegenes altes Hotel.

Das Hotel liegt 20 Schritte von einer Metro Station direkt neben einer Kirche und allgemein recht zentral. Der Parc des Buttes Chaumont ist zu Fuß in ca 700m zu erreichen und ist eine Besuch wert. Wir sind mit dem Auto gekommen und wurden gleich mal in ein 600m entferntes Parkhaus geschickt weil der Hotelparkplatz voll war (den habe ich aber gar nicht gesehen, weiß also nicht ob der überhaupt existiert). Dort durften wir für 12h-24h gleich mal 21€ zahlen.
Wir sind um 23 Uhr eingesteckt, da wir vorher im Disneyland waren, hatten aber mittags angerufen und auf englisch Bescheid gesagt, weshalb das dann kein Problem war. Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett. Aber als wir angekommen sind haben wir mit jemandem gesprochen der kaum englisch konnte, glücklicherweise habe ich noch ein paar Brocken französisch gekonnt, sonst wäre das mit dem Parkplatz eine Katastrophe geworden.
Die Zimmer an sich haben alles was man braucht, waren oberflächlich sauber aber hatten auf dem Teppich und an den Wänden merklich nicht entfernbare Flecken, in der Dusche war etwas Schimmel, aber allgemein waren die Zimmer sauber, kein Staub. Die Reinigungskräfte haben sich viel Mühe gegeben, dass es sauber aussieht. Kein Dreck, bis auf die genannten Mängel. Wir hatten einen Kühlschrank und einen Föhn, sowie einen scheinbar neuen Ventilator.
Was ärgerlich war, war dass unser gebuchten \"Queensized Bed\" nur 120-140 breit war.
Zu empfehlen wenn man nur kurz übernachten will. Ansonsten eher nicht.

Super, métro au pied de l'hotel avec un seul changement à \" hotel de ville \" pour aller à la gare de Lyon. Quartier agréable ,près des Buttes Chaumons (magnifique parc).
Hotel accueillant, sympa. Nous avons mangé aux Rigoles, brasserie à 2pas, en bas de la rue Jourdain, c'était très bien également. Nous recommandons ces endroits, c'était la deuxième fois.

A noter, l'ascenseur est exigu et ne permet pas l'accès à une personne corpulente. Je n'ai pas vérifié l'existence de chambres au rdc.

Arrêt pour la nuit le quartier semble plutot sympathique encore une vie de quartier préservée sur Paris . Mais chambre trop chère pour la prestation. Décu !

최악중의 최악이었습니다...유럽에 거주하고 있어서 유럽 이곳저곳 여행을 많이 하는 편인데,
이런 호텔은 정말 처음입니다...어이가 없었습니다...
일단 객실 상태는 한국의 여관수준이었고 상당히 오래되고 지저분하며 화장실에는 곰팡이가
있었습니다...
게다가 호텔 스텝은 정말 불친절하고 냉랭합니다...프랑스가 특히나 아시아계에 대해서
인종차별적 사고가 강하다는 이야기는 들었지만, 처음 체크인 할때부터 호텔 스텝으로부터
무시당하는 기분이었고, 프랑스어로 혼자 중얼중얼 거리는데 않좋은 이야기를 하는듯한
기분이었습니다...시설 최악, 청소상태 불량, 직원 불친절...정말이지 다시 생각해도
불쾌하기 그지없습니다...

Este hotel é o melhor lugar para se hospedar em Paris, preço justo, localização maravilhosa (em frente ao metrô Jourdan - linha 11) que te permite chegar rapidamente aos pontos turísticos, como também apreciar o dia-a-dia das pessoas locais.
Todos os funcionarios extremamente simpáticos e o quarto, sempre impecável!

Great neighbourhood!

Great place for a budget stay. The hotel is very clean - sheets and towels are changed every day and the room is thoroughly cleaned. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms have a small friddge, so you can keep your beverages cool. It might be a bit to noisy so light sleepers should ask for a room with a view to the garden. The neighborhood is great with many restaurants and shops around. The Jourdain metro station is 50 meters from the hotel door and the line 11 takes you right to the central Chatelet station.

Rent budget hotel med bra läge!

Bra budget hotel, rent och vänlig personal. Jätte bra läge, 20 meter ifrån tunnelbana, lätt att hitta och lätt att ta sig till olika ställen. Bra lokala restauranger runt omkring och två livsmedelsbutiker inom 3 minuters promenad, smidigt!

Bon pour une nuit mais ne pas être exigeant

Hôtel sans prétention.
La déco est vieillote dès l'entrée.
Pour ce qui est de la chambre, elle était pas bien grande et pourtant j'avais une chambre 3 personnes. Je n'ose pas imaginer la taille des chambres simples ou doubles !!!

De plus, les draps et la couverture en laine en 2015 ... on est hors standard.

La rue est bruyante (café juste en dessous de la fenêtre).

Conclusion : pour 30€ de plus, on trouve des hôtels d'un tout autre standing, je ne m'en priverais pas la prochaine fois.

Hôtel bien placé à bon rapport qualité-prix. Personnel sympathique et discret, chambre confortable. Seul bémol, la chambre chauffe vite en été et il est nécessaire de garder la fenêtre entrouverte pour dormir ; mais le quartier étant calme, ce n'est pas un problème. Pas de lumière très forte pour lire le soir, mais une ambiance plus feutrée qui plaira peut-être davantage à certains.

Nicht unbedingt nochmal

Wir waren vier Tage in Paris und haben sehr viel unternommen. Die Metro haben wir voll ausgenutzt.Großer Nchteil: Nur Treppen und kaum eine Rolltreppe. Für Rollstuhlfahrer und Gehbehinderte nicht zu schaffen,
weil Aufzüge auch nicht vorhanden sind. Ansonsten hat uns Paris sehr gut gefallen.

Bonne adresse...je recommande !

Situé dans un arrondissement populaire, l'hôtel de la Perdrix rouge offre toutes les commodités qu'un voyageur (tourisme et affaire) peut souhaiter (rapport qualité-prix, situation près du métro...).
Je recommande cet hôtel calme et bien tenu, où on est accueilli avec le sourire !
