I came through Paris for a concert, and I picked this hotel because it was only a 20 minute walk from the concert venue. It was a simple room and set up, although not as clean as I would have liked but I at least could tell the bathroom and sheets were clean so that was a win. The hotel had a lovely communal garden with food from a neighboring cafe available for extended hours. The area around the hotel was safe, and there were plenty of food options right on the same street.
I was never given any wifi information, as the person working the front desk only spoke French so there was very little actual communication beyond pointing and a few sentences translated with Google.
Overall, not a bad hotel for a quick trip where you aren't expecting to spend extended time in the hotel. It certainly worked for me :)

The walls are super thin, we could hear every noise from other guests, it was cold and no thick duvet was provided, no hair dryer nor shampoo. Only cash payment on the property. The area was not that bad; kebab and a convenience store and a cafeteria.

There is no AC at this place and the front desk does not speak English. Only stayed at this place because it was the cheapest around but it would have been much better to pay that extra $20 a night than to stay here. Definitely would not recommend for tourist who don’t know English and are used to AC.

I booked the room for 4 nights. Property pictured was not the same as the accommodations. Very dirty room in bad neighborhood. Shower and bathroom are not attached to room. You must cross a courtyard that is shared with complex. I stayed less then 20 mins. I wasted a large part of my travel day finding another room which was available. I also had to spend much more because my original reservation was made in advance.

No one who has an intention of having a good holiday should ever visit the place.

It was nice to stay with all my friends in the same room for one night. I would not do it for longer than two days. The rooms are small but the price is not bad. You get what you pay for. The owner is super nice and friendly. There are nice restaurants, stores, and bakeries nearby.

never seen that in my life. The room stink and I got sick. They don't clean the room, they asked you to clean it yourself and to bring the garbage to the bin that is located outside or should I say in their courtyard. they don't provide towels on a daily basis. They provide you one towel and expect for you to use it for you whole stay. there's no TV and no phone, no cup is provided and no body soap. my experience with them, their fees are higher than all the other hotels that I stayed for my stayed in Europe and yet, I did not experience any of that at at any other hotels. I will recommend any other hotel that I stayed but never this one

A reasonable choice for the cost. Good thing is that it is in zone 1 and saves on travel cost if you want to just be in the middle of Paris.
Please ask for information about the initial check in method from the hotel as front desk is not always manned.
WiFi access can be positional.

It was a good experience staying there. We loved the door, it was cute. They also provided toiletries for us, which was really nice. Unfortunately, the room had just a coach for the second person and no proper bed. The advertisement for the room was written a bit confusingly, so we didn't really know what to expect. But overall we had a really nice stay.

Staff were amazing and helped me with every need. Just a short 10 minute walk to 3 different metros so accessing Paris was incredibly easy. Would recommend to stay here if you want a friendly, quiet hotel to enjoy your stay in Paris.

This was a *basic* room. If youre on a budget traveling you could stay here, though you'll be \"far\" from the \"tourist\" things to do in the city.

As long as you keep that in mind your stay will be worth it. Id rather be here than at a noisy hostel. This spot was relatively quiet.

Quand je suis arrivé la personne de la réception me dit qu'il n'avait pas mis de serviette dans la chambre et qui s'en occuper au plus vite de retour à l'hôtel le soir en passant par la réception je lui demande s'il m'avait mis des serviettes il m'a dit oui oui je les aime je les apporte dans 10 minutes il était 21h 23h toujours pas de serviette pour se doucher je me suis douchée et je me suis essuyé avec mon t-shirt au bout d'un moment vers 23h30 je me suis dit s'il ne m'apporte pas de serviette demain ça va être le même problème je téléphone à la réception il me dit oui je les apporte dans 5 minutes minuit est passé il tape à ma porte j'étais en train de dormir il m'apporte une serviette la serviette était humide presque trempé je me suis demandé si il s'arrêtait pas servi avant de me l'apporter du du coup le lendemain même étape j'ai pas voulu me servir de cette serviette je n'étais pas sûr de sa propreté j'ai dû me doucher et m'essuyer encore avec mon t-shirt et dans l'après-midi je suis allé acheter une serviette pour pouvoir m'essuyer le soir pour prendre ma douche je vous assure que la douche c'est dommage je n'ai pas pu prendre de photos j'ai fait une vidéo mais je ne peux pas la mettre sur le site vous êtes un peu enrobé vous pouvez pas rentrer dans la douche je ne suis absolument pas satisfait de cet hôtel pour le prix que j'ai payé voilà mon expérience avec cet hôtel

À notre arrivée dans l’après-midi, notre chambre n’était pas prête. Cette dernière n’était pas propre, la porte et la fenêtre étaient très dures à ouvrir et à fermer.
L’hôtel n’est pas isolé, il faut vivre avec le bruit des voisins du dessus et d’à côté.
Le bloc de douches et sanitaires, se situe en face des chambres à côté de la terrasse du restaurant. Ce qui manque de discrétion et confort… Les toilettes sont à partager avec les clients du restaurant.
Seul intérêt, l’emplacement à proximité du métro (environ 15 minutes) et du Zénith.

We had an awful experience at Hotel Rachel in Paris. And an awful experience booking through Hotels.com.
Firstly, the guy in the reception would not let us check in to our room. His reason being that we arrived after the reception had closed. The only problem was that we had booked through Hotels.com with the promise that we would be able to check-in until midnight. After about 30 minutes of discussion with the guy at the reception he finally gave us a key.
Upon entering the room an awful smell of sewage hit us. The room was definately not clean, as witnessed by the odor of sewage and the cobwebs in the corners of the room.
When we booked the room we payed extra to have our own bathroom, which was a waste of money, since the toilet wasn't even able to flush.
At this moment we were already looking for other hotels online. But the thing that made us leave the hotel immediately, and go outside with our luggage on the street searching for new hotels, was the fact that we found mold on the walls, particularly in the wardrobe of the room. A clear health risk that didn't seem to bother the hotel at all.
We called Hotels.com's support line to ask for a refund of our money, but the answer was: \"Unfortunatly we can't give you the money back, unless the hotel agrees to it\". Mind you this is the same hotel that do not hold up the agreement on check-in times made, and that deams it fit, to put a pregnant couple in a mold infested hotel room with an unflushable toilet.

Je crois avoir fait cela hier soir.Je suis déjà venu plusieurs fois dans l’hôtel Rachel
pour aller à des concerts au Triton à Les
Lilas.et j’y retournerai. Votre Hôtel est
Très bien situé. Après des travaux il devient exclusivement intéressant
grâce à la « Terrasse « si vous pouvez la garder ! Les chambres plus moderne avec
des sanitaires dans les chambres .
Pour mon amie et moi ça nous va rapport
à la qualité /prix, il ne reste qu’un hôtel aux
Les Lilas qui vient d’être refait pour les JO.
Pas aimable pendant les dit travaux: poussière y compris dans les chambres, la TV
ne marchait pas. Par contre le restaurant bonne carte et une terrasse bien sympathique
C’est vers la sortie de Les Lîlas en remontant sens inverse de Paris.
Sinon je n’ai pas de remarque particulière vu le prix.

Je pensais ma faire avoir. Je reviens la nuit du
28 novembre puis la nuit du 14 décembre.

住宿不方便有大件行李的遊客, 只適合背包人士.

酒店入口不顯眼, 很難找. 今次住宿的客房要上一層樓, 有兩件行李, 要搬上搬落, 確實有困難. 幸好入住時有服務員幫忙搬一件很重的行李, 但第二日晨早要CHECK OUT時, 就只能自己搬下樓了.

Chambre confortable et agréable mais ne correspond pas à 100 % à la description. La salle de bain et les WC ne sont pas dans la chambre mais à l’extérieur.

Pour le prix ça va

Pour le prix ça va ça dépanne, mais par contre, pas de wifi, pas de télé (dans une chambre double avec sdb privative), une ampoule au plafond qui est grillée, la propreté qui laisse place au doute (literie qui ne sens pas le propre, un mégot de joint au sol dans le coin de la chambre), les toilettes qui se mettent en route tout seul pendant la nuit ???

Petit truc bizarre, en revenant dans la chambre plus tard dans la soirée, LÀ PORTE ÉTAIT OUVERTE ?! (rien à disparu, et je pense pas avoir oublié de fermer la porte, ce serais énorme comme erreur?? mais laissons le bénéfice du doute 🤔)

Sinon dans l’ensemble, pour le prix et l’emplacement c’est bien, ça dépanne bien et la personne a l’accueil est très cool, nous sommes arrivé avant l’heure du Check In et il nous a donner une chambre quand même, et pareil pour le Check Out, aucune pression de la part de l’équipe.
