DO NOT BOOK WE LEFT shortly after checking in. Key card machine was broken so they told us we would have to be escorted when coming and going from our room. The first room had no heat and was disgusting. Second room had holes ripped in the curtains and cigarette burns on the bed spread. NOTHING LIKE IN THE EXPEDIA photos. Maybe they rent by the hour?! Very sketchy stay away! We relocated and could care less if we get our refund it was that bad. Love Expedia and have used for 18 years never have I had a bad experience like this. I hope Expedia reviews if they want to even list this property.

Room needed upgrading. Desk chair was all split. Wall heater was hard to read and missing knob control. There was zero heat in the bathroom and it was freezing. No key cards - front staff had to manually let us in to our rooms every time. Parking lot had pot holes but it was shoveled after snow around the cars. Definitely overpriced for the room. Only positives were friendly front desk staff and the breakfast was a surprise especially being available at 4 am.

Wasn’t clean, the carpets was stained, the mattress was very lumpy, the pillows stunk I had to go ask for clean ones, the towels were dingy and the sink was rusted plus there was two paper cups not even wrapped.
First and last time I stay at a Super 8. Very disappointed

Kinda bare bones hotel. Nothing around but the airport. Key cards didn’t work so manager had to unlock room each time. Hotel didn’t even have someone plow the parking lot. I mean it’s a hotel if all you need is a bed before or after a flight.

Room was spotless. The staff was excellent I couldn\"t ask for better. I did not like having registration shoved off to a third. I had a terrible time dealing with the 3 rd party. I received my and written staitment without a rescite and when I tried contacting themI over days without them returning my calls. I refuse to do 3 rd partys. I will only deal with the front desk at the hotel.

The door card keys were not working. When we entered the room, the bathroom sink was not working. Because we checked in late, maintenance was not available so they gave us another room.

This hotel falls way below the standards of a hotel chain even as a Super 8. Our late arrival was met with a very slow check in process. No room keys available therefore night clerk needed to open our room doors. The room was very dated with very water stained towels as wel. No stars for this reason

Room access card machine was out for repair and we would have needed to ask to be let into our room every time we went out. In addition the room was absolutely disgusting. The leather sofa was totally worn out, not fit for a dog to lie on. This hotel should be torn down it is so old and decrepit. Remove them from your site.

This was probably the worst stay I have had at a hotel in many years. #1 They could not give me a key to my room. They escorted myself and family to my room opened the door and told me that if I leave I need to report to the front counter and they would let me back into my room. #2 The ceiling stucco was falling off of the ceiling and the drywall in the bathroom was rotting from being wet. #3 The carpets were absolutely disgusting with stains. and the room had a horrible smell. Finally the staff gave my entire family a bad feeling. We felt unwelcomed. The way the facility was taken care of. I had the sense that this Super 8 was not actually part of the portfolio anymore and the signs had not been taken down yet. I find it hard to believe that Super 8 would allow a facility to represent the name and brand in this state of repair.

Difficulty finding the hotel; we drove the length of Homestead twice. The place was in darkness & the Super 8 sign was not lit. I suggested it be turned on, but on Dec 9th when we returned, it was still off. The keys to the room don't work, so the desk clerk said he would have to let us in each time. No heat in rooms or hall or lobby; wall heater extremely loud, never warmed up; had to go to lobby to request more blankets. .Fake leather couch was totally peeled off. There is better furniture at the curb on garbage day. You should be ashamed to charge anyone to stay in those conditions..

Some less than rave reviews had me concerned, but the hotel is so close to Hamilton Airport that I chose it anyway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean and warm. There were simple breakfast supplies even at 5:30 am. A friendly taxi driver took me to the airport in the snow at 6:15 am for only $15. Nothing fancy, and certainly furniture needs upgrading. But if you just want a quiet, comfortable night's sleep and save money, I recommend it!

I do not usually give bad reviews but this room was awful. It was freezing cold with no extra blankets. I had to wear clothes to bed to make up for that.
The runnings water with the shower head in the tub. Only showers apparently.

I had two very small bumpy pillows. And it’s smelled not so nice.

Breakfast was grab and go sugar… with an apple.
Sorry, one star from me is pretty bad as I’m quite nice…. Wow.

The room was horrible. We had to switch from the first room because it was obvious the sheets were not changed from the last guests. Then with the second room the furniture was old and worn out. Not leather left on the chairs - All cracked and worn off. You couldn't see the TV from the bed. Only if you were standing in the little kitchen. I took pictures andmwill be asking for some sort of refund. Never again will I book at Super 8.

The carpet was pulling away from the floor and the nails underneath were showing. It’s a typical “close to the airport, low price” hotel. The key locks on the doors weren’t working, she had to let us in each time if we left our room. The staff at the front desk was very lovely and very helpful!

This property is badly worn down. From a pitch black parking lot (almost all the lights are not working), to furniture that is worn through to a heater that was not working. Recommend staying somewhere else even if is costs a bit more and is further from the airport.

The place is a dive and confirmed by other guests as well. No key cards, apparently this has been an on ongoing issue for months. The rooms are a disaster, the toilets do not sit securely, the carpet is frayed, the heater either doesn't work or is intermittent, the handle came off the tap, the furniture is damaged, the mattresses need to be replaced, 2 flat pillows. The list goes on and breakfast is a farce. The patio doors do not lock properly. We should have been warned due to other past reviews. Other people are staying elsewhere either though this hotel is closest to the airport. With a reno this could be a good hotel.

What a horrible place

I dropped off my bags and didnt look closely during the day. I back at night. When I set down the bedsheets I discovered a matteress that was beat to death and should have been replaced long ago. The couch was ripped apart. I got in after dark and the outside lights didnt work. The driveway was a mess and in a horrible state. The WIFI didnt work and i suspect there were not plans to fix it.The hall carpets were filthy and stained. If I had another nearby option I would have left. I was afraid of getting bugs.

The staff was friendly and the hotel was close to the airport but there was dog hair on the bed linens. The vinyl covering on the couch was worn off. There was an unpleasant odour in the hallway which fortunately, didn’t permeate the room. There was a dog on the floor which barked. The entrance to the hotel from the road was poorly marked. There were no lights on the hotel sign. We weren’t sure it was even open when we arrived. My daughter wanted to leave. The continental breakfast consisted of granola bars, apples and mini muffins. There wasn’t even bread to make toast. Would not recommend and will not be staying there again

The price for the room and the fact that it is pet friendly is fantastic. The staff ensured we were on the ground floor so that we had access to a patio door from inside our room, which made it much easier to get our puppy in and out.
There was a lack of linen in the room. We required to ask for towels, which was provided with no concerns, and only the linen on the bed was in the room. We didnt ask for more as we managed with what we had, so it is unknown if they have extras or not. The internet was down for the entirety of our stay, it would have been nice to have gotten some sort of discount as it is expected to have internet when you book. For whatever reason, our phone service inside the hotel was horrible, that could simply be our phone provider is not good in the area. However, the hotel could benefit from getting a tower to strengthen the signal. Overall, we would stay there again if we knew we werent spending much time in our room and for a maximum of 2 nights, anything longer, we'd more than likely book somewhere else.

There are many areas of improvement. The rooms and furniture is old, outdated, and in poor condition. Some of the towels were clean, but gray instead of clean white. There was a smell on the bed linens . Only few items for breakfast. The parking lot was in poor condition.

Staff were good. Facility was not well maintained. Poorly cleaned and linens and towels stained. Insufficient towels and facecloth (yes, one). Shower head partially plugged. Bathroom sink loose in counter. Cigarette burns in bed covers. A/C not cold.
Abandoned restaurant next door, parking lot full of potholes and exterior signs taped up.
I really don’t like to complain, but too many smaller things add up to bad experiences
Not impressed that Wyndham puts their name on this. It should be inspected and brought up to their higher standard by them, so the owners can present a quality product.

Missing slider in the window. 2” centipede hanging on the wall, entire building is very run down, inside and out. Would not recommend, specially for the price paid.

There was a hole in the wall of the room, towels were noticeably stained, carpet was taped down between the washroom and general area, bathroom door had to be forcibly shut making it impossible to use the washroom in private without disturbing your travel companion, inadequate towel supply. The entire place has a general rundown, uncared for atmosphere. I feel like you should have paid me to stay there. Would never recommend this place. It’s convenient location close to the airport is it’s only redeeming quality. Total dump

When I first arrived I do my normal check of the beds for things like bed bugs and cleanliness. Lo and behold, as I pulled the covers back my sheets were stained and there was pubic hair still on the sheets. But I must say the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and came and changed both beds and all pillowcases right away.

Stepping into this 'hotel' felt like entering a horror movie. The musty smell, the stained carpets, the questionable 'cleanliness'—it's a health hazard.

I've seen cleaner public restrooms. This place is a disgrace and an affront to human decency.

From the peeling wallpaper to the mystery stains on the sheets and towels, every corner of this place screams 'shut it down.' Book literally anywhere else.

The hotel is a bit run down But is super quiet and I felt super safe. As a single woman traveling safety is first. Bed was comfortable. Price was right. Do not stay here.
Dirty room, drawers, fridge, and walls. Old and damaged furnishings. One bed was a queen mattress on a double box spring.
One towel per guest - no hand or face towels provided.
Bathroom was clean enough.
Ice machine not working. Vending machines are very old and rough looking.
Very limited food items for breakfast (grab and go items only).

Staff was very nice and friendly.
Not the worst place I’ve been, but nowhere near the best.

the other guests were quiet, major points for that plus at least is easy to get to. problems? the toilet was noisy, so was the air conditioner. the room smelled like cigarettes (it was supposed to be Non-smoking). the chairs looked like crap.. well for the low price, you get low quality,i guess. the Staff was NICE, I'll give them that.

Horrible stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Hope

The room was dismal. All the furniture was in tatters, the phone didn't work (I did report this to the front desk, I had expected it would have been replaced the next day while I was out, it wasn't). The only way I could get water from the bathroom sink was to take the handle off the tap - it just turned without doing anything. There were no tissues or garbage can in the bathroom.
