Toujours un plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel à l'excellent rapport qualité-prix. Ambiance funky, personnel très agréable ; chambres propres et bien équipées ; super petit déjeuner ! Seul bémol : il faut demander le café (gratuit au petit-déjeuner mais pzs accessible en libre service contrairement aux autres boissons accessibles).

The room needed a bit of tic; the towel warmer was rusting and the screw covers were missing, there was a cracked wall tile behind the toilet, the bottom of the door was water damaged, and there were multiple stains on the carpet.
Reception staff were great; some restaurant staff were a bit surly. We went down late morning for coffee when the restaurant was being cleaned after the breakfast service. We were served coffee, but the cleaning continued in close proximity, which wasn’t necessary. They should’ve just declined to give us coffee. I stayed in Mana Luxembourg in April and it was a much better experience. At night the noise from the restaurant was terrible, Christmas parties in progress, but really disruptive to guests on the first floor.

Really enjoyed the location. 5 minutes from the metro. Quiet neighborhood with a few grocery stores and some nice eats, even late into the evening. The room is small for more than 2 and I wasn’t fond of the electrical cords being strung out on the wall. But would definitely recommend to 1-2 occupants as long as they’re ok snuggling up at night. Will visit again if I’m not with the fam!

Mama Shelter Paris East was absolutely fine. The room was quite noisy, sat on the main road and over the main door to the hotel. The air con in the room was very loud all night and making the ceiling panels vibrate so we needed to use ear plugs to sleep. The double room was two single beds on the bed frame so they kept slipping off the frame. Absolutely fine for a short city break, but not somewhere you’d want to spend loads of time. Thankfully Alexandre Dumas tube stop is very close by with easy connections into the city.

We've stayed here multiple times over the years and always enjoyed our stay. As long as you realise that it is a basic but very funky hotel you won't go wrong! The staff are always welcoming, the bar and restaurant are excellent. If you're there on a Sunday you really must book for brunch! The rooms are basic but always clean. Over the years the area around the hotel has grown busier and there are now few interesting restaurants and bars. It's not the most beautiful part of Paris but it's full of character and a walk around Pere Lachaise is a must.

Nice hotel but not for a second visit

Hotel had a funky / trendy vibe. That’s all good and fun but the rooms were too small (for the price) but more frustrating is they were quite dark. I know it’s the style but didn’t work for me. Also, restaurant was delicious but 2hour wait for food is unacceptable

The room was ok, bathroom needs some tlc. The air conditioner needs looking at, as at times during the night it sounds like it’s rebooting, but will do it 3-4 times a night, I switched it off. Slept with window open as it was ridiculous.
Catering for gluten-free was not great, very restricted, some staff knew what you meant while others were not interested. All Menues need to show what is GF, and staff trained on it. If you can show what is vegetarian, then GF can be shown and catered for too.
Also, watch some bar staff as, at happy hour they are oblivious and will charge you full price, even when you question it, but act not interested.

Atmosphère fun, branchée, alternative et unique. Accueil adorable par Myriam. La chambre \"small mama\" était en fait spacieuse et très bien conçue (coin frigo/lavabo/micro-ondes ; grand lit 1 personne ; bureau ; nombreux multimédias ; très agréable salle de douche avec produits ; décoration personnalisée et fun). Quartier pourvu de plusieurs cafés/restos agréables (walking distance) et forte identité de l'établissement tant dans sa boutique funky que son bar/restaurant unique. En résumé je reviendrai avec grand plaisir et remercie le staff cool mais pro. Amélioration possible : ajouter tasses/bouilloire dans la chambre.

This hotel isn't for everyone - you have to like unusual spaces, occasional toe stubbings and perpetual darkness but it's a place with personality and genuine, friendly service. The lighting in the rooms is fiddly, annoying and not conducive for working but the space is generous, comfy and kept in excellent condition.

From check-in to check-out, we were shown a warm welcome and consistently friendly and efficient service.
The cocktail waiters mixed some of the nicest cocktails I have had.
We were lucky to get a table outside (on 20 Oct!) where we were comfortable and happy not to be eating inside which was extremely busy and very noisy with a DJ and so many people.
From our 2nd floor room, we could hear the night time noise from the very busy bar/restaurant quite clearly. This was not a huge problem for us as we were so tired from our day in Paris and too many delicious cocktails!
This is a lively city place which attracts many non-residents, do not expect a quiet, tranquil hideaway.

Young swanky vibe on a busy/rough street

This hotel has a very fun, tongue and cheek, playful atmosphere. A fun bar and restaurant with a lot of options for ordering.

However service takes a bit longer than expected. And we were disappointed when we found out that we didn't have access to the rooftop due to a private party. Make sure to ask before booking, we were never informed when booking or when we checked in and it was a huge bummer since that was a main booking point for us.

This spot attracts quite a range in age groups from families with kids, tons of young people and even a handful older couples. They have security at the hotel doors and key required elevators. I believe not only for safety but the restaurant and bar is open to the public as well.

The location was a busy street. The staff was happy and kind. The rooms are tongue and cheek and have an intentional vibes. The pillows were great but the bed itself was just okay.

We took advantage of the included wifi and the free downloaded movies to all of the apple iMac computers in the rooms. The hotel in general is a tech savvy spot with creative ways to use it throughout the hotel. We used their parking garage for a day and it was a nice feature to have.

Probably the best and most fun hotel in Paris!

I have stayed at Mama Shelter many times and I keep coming back. Why? The hotel has the friendliest staff you will find in Paris. The hotel's interior is designed by Philippe Starck and it shows in every little detail. Even the shampoo is their own brand and it smells so good! The bar and restaurant are a hot spot for a young and hip local crowd. And they also have their own pizzeria that serves perfect thin crisped pizzas. How convenient that you can bring a pizza back to room after a night out?! And they offer a free upgrade to late check out at 1pm! This hotel is simply AMAZING!

Wonderful shower and comfortable bed. The darkest hotel room I have ever experienced - black ceiling, walls and floor and no ceiling lights, only table and bedside lights (covered with animal face masks! Some more practicality would be good.

パリ中心部へのアクセス悪くないです！繁華街ではなく住宅街を感じることもできます。お部屋は決して広くないけどしゃれてて清潔。家族連れもけっこう泊まってましたよ。素敵なデザイン以上に、ホテルスタッフの丁寧さと暗めの雰囲気が気に入りました。ダイニング？も評判なんだそうです。全体的に薄暗いので出張者にはおすすめしません。

Séjour de 3 nuits marqué par une climatisation défectueuse, signalée dès le départ. La réception, malheureusement, s’est révélée incapable de proposer une solution concrète, se contentant de réponses vagues, parfois à la limite de la provocation.

Malgré nos relances répétées, impossible de rencontrer un responsable capable de prendre une décision. Il a fallu aller jusqu’à écrire directement à la front office manager… pour recevoir en retour des formules toutes faites du type « Merci pour votre retour, nous en prenons bonne note ».

En guise de dédommagement, le Mama Shelter a eu la générosité de nous offrir… 8 heures de parking, une bouteille d’Évian et une bière. Chapeau bas, Mama.

Alors oui, Mama loves you… Peut-être. Mais clairement, not me.

Nous nous sommes retrouvé au 6e etage.
L'ascenseur ne mo te que jusquau 5e...
Il faut trouver une porte dans le couloir du 5e etage puis monter des escaliers dans lequel il y avait des plateaux repas vides. On les y teouvera durant tout le sejour...
Arrivé au 6e etage, on a trouvé notre chambre qui au demeurant était bien

Et ok hotel som har 2 stjerner, det er i Paris øst nemt til metro Ⓜ️ og bus 🙏
Værelserne er meget varme, og meget mørke, ikke alle værelser virker A/C !
Tænker i forhold til 2 stjerner så er Restauranten dyr og dyre drikkevarer !
Men sådan er det nok også hele Paris.

The carpet of my room was wet and the room was smelling like Urin. Not sure what the guest before did in this room.
Apart from this the mama shelter remains to be my preferred hotel in Paris.
Nice people and always happy to help.
