The first room we were given was dreadful.
Small very smelly, damp and in need of a renovation.
The air conditioning unit did work just made a horrendous noise so we had to switch it off in 30c heat.
The room was directly under a generator on the roof which buzzed all night which meant non of us got any sleep.
Spoke to the receptionist and they were very apologetic and we were moved to another room that afternoon.
To say this room was fantastic is an understatement.
Newly renovated with excellent air conditioner good beds and a lovely shower room. We couldn’t believe just how different it was compared to the first room.

Stay was good, room is bit small and tight for three beds. Hotel only provide very limited toiletries, do not provide a kettle etc which was bit unexpected for a 3* hotel where I live.

Upon arrival we had to have maintenance come to drain the clogged shower. There was very little hot water in the evening. The room even though it had “air conditioning” the room was always hot. To the point we were sweating every night of our 5 night stay. The shower leaked profusely onto the bathroom floor. This has been an issue for quite some time as the door frame had rusted out the bottom 3cm of the shower stall and door frame. The bathroom door had been kicked in at one point and had a huge hole in the shape of a foot on the inside of the door. There were police sirens throughout the night every night. The blackout curtains had holes in it and would not close all the way either. This be our only stay in an Ibis hotel.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Especially considering I have stayed with Ibis before and always it was a good experience. Room was very small and not the cleanest. Part of the skirting board was broken and came off the wall. Toilet seat was scratched all over. Windowsill was dusty. There was no kettle in the room and I was informed at the reception they don't provide that. To get an iron, which usually is in every room there is €20 deposit. No need to mention no complementary coffee or tea. I also send request for one small bottle of water on the arrival in the room which was approved however it wasn't there.
Staff were very blunt, not welcoming at all. Area of the hotel was very dirty, with some local market (bazaar style), with many people illegally selling cigarettes to pedestrians. It didn't feel safe to walk alone, particularly in the evening.
Only one good thing i can say was distance to nearest metro station.
To summarise I wouldn't recommend stay in this hotel. Way overpriced for what it offers.

Metro station is about 12-15 minutes walk. On Weekends, they have a Flea Market near the hotel, so it's hard to walk to and from the hotel. On Monday it is all clear. The room was clean, small, the staff was very caring. My first room did not have a/c and they moved me to another with a/c. Windows do not open. I felt safe and would stay again. If it's only for sleeping, it is great.

Noisy hotel

The room and hotel was nice, but the area was very unsafe and for the last 2 days of our stay, there was construction work happening on our floor which started from 9am and went on all day which was absolutely ridiculous because we wanted to have a lie in, but we couldn’t due to the horrendous noise. There were no signs to state this was happening and when the front desk asked how my stay was and I told him about the noise from the workers, all he could say was I’m sorry which implied that the front desk did not know the workers were going to create that much noise. We will not be coming back.

Property is very rundown, room was cold in a sub zero weather no heat. They had construction going on when we were there knocking all day very loud noise, they never informed us of that prior to arrival. Breakfast was very limited with a saggy vegetable that kept being put back for a whole week. I will definitely not go back to this hotel way over ratted.

Hotel is ok, with a large fleamarket right outside. It's quite a walk from the Metro.
Real issue for me was noise; the room door was badly fitted and corridor noise was terrible. Every door on the landing slammed when used, so it was constant throughout the nights of my stay.
Good breakfast though!

The front desk staff were the nicest people. They are very helpful and as a plus they spoke English extremely well. There is a grocery store and a few restaurants in the same bulling that make it very convenient to grab anything you forgot or just to buy some food. My only negative thing of the house keeping. The shower has mold in it, the shower head would not work right and kept falling off and down, you needed to turn the water off because it backed up so much and overflow if you don’t. You only get two towels so if you wash your hands you have to use your shower towel to dry.

Paris is wonderful, but our stay at the Ibis was extremely unpleasant. We stayed for 6 days. On the first day we requested repairs to the air conditioning which was not working, it was very hot and we had 6 bad nights sleep. Every day the front desk said he would send a technician to fix it and nothing was done. I sent a message to hotel and email to Arcor Network and no response. On the third day we spoke with Igor, who was very attentive and friendly, but he did not solve our problem. He said he would fix the air or the next day he would be changing rooms and again nothing was done. On the fifth day we had a problem with breakfast, the girl, very rude called Ines, made us pay for breakfast on time, unlike on other days when we left our name on the list to be paid at check out. I asked for water replacement and the 3rd time she brought and left the bottle on our table, soon after a new customer requests water and she takes our bottle and gives it to the other customer. We went to try to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant and the menu and advertisement at the hotel said one type of menu, when we arrived at the restaurant the menu was another. Totally frustrated. I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

They will take your money and give you nothing.
If you pay them anything and your flights get cancelled you will be completely out of pocket and this hotel will not care.
They will not respond to email, not offer any future credit - maybe I should not be so harsh about losing $1,000 as they could all be sick (or worse) from COVID19.

Don’t stay.

Pictures on Hotels.com where not what the hotel looked like on the inside. Is is part of the budget ibis and it shows. The restaurant was only open for breakfast most of my stay. No local restaurant in the area. The subway line has over 20 stop in 2 miles. After 5pm you have to enter the hotel on the budget ibis doors. Don’t stay here. you get what you pay for here.

This hotel is located right in front of a daily flea market. One can only imagine the scenario on a daily basis. At the end of the day, unused clothes and goods are left on the floor for city workers to clean up one or two days later.

Staff were ok. Room was tiny. We had turn sideways to walk around the bed. The seal was coming off around the shower and sink. There were deep marks in the sink and the carpet always looked like it needed hoovering. You had to put your room key in the lift to make it work and we had to have our card recoded twice on a three night stay. The hair dryer was broken and they couldn't give us another one to dry our hair. The cleaner walked into our room without knocking. She did apologise but where we have stayed in the past they have always knocked first. There was always discarded shoes and clothes on the streets outside. We used some of the local cafes/restaurants and they were lovely.

Where do you start, had to ask for room to be changed as the smell of smoke was so strong, and even though the hotel was almost full the very kind staff managed to get us into another one. Although this room was OK, had and excellent view, the air-conditioning didn't work and no windows were able to open, even though the weather was particularly hot the room was baking. I woke up in the night both nights I stayed there as had to go out and get fresh air. Everything is run down and the food in the restaurant was just eatable. I would not advise anyone to stay here and I'm very surprised expedia is happy to market this hotel. It's definitely not what I expect from An ibis hotel

First the main door of the hotel was not working & from where to enter is challenge to search the had a another door from the different hotel to share the entrance!!! Terrible

The passage (lobby) connecting all the rooms stings badly even you can not stand there for 5 mins. Though was not the case inside the room.

Room was so small that after you keep 1 bag there no space to walk around the bed the bathroom door opens just besides the bed, pathetic

they said breakfast is not included in tariff i didn't had any breakfast for 2 days still made me pay for it in full around 24 euro for 2 days

I enjoyed strolling around the flea market on both Saturday and Sunday. The walk down the main street brought to life the friendliness, diversity and cultures of all the locals. The pubs and eateries provide a vast array of different meals and drinks at very reasonable prices. Truly enjoyable weekend.

Perfect - just signpost the entrance better!

This hotel was perfect for our short romantic weekend away. Located by the Porte de Montreuil station (on the Metro line 9) it's less than 15 minutes away from central Paris and all of the sights. We had a corner room on the 15th (top) floor and had an amazing view encompassing the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, La Defense and more. The room was spacious enough for two people, with hanging space, enough plug sockets, and basic amenities such as a plasma TV (including BBC World News), hairdryer, bath and shower, heating, and a phone. The area is sketchy but it's not the sort of area you need to hang around in if you're going to be seeing the sights. Do try a chocolate almond croissant from nearby Boulangerie Pattiserie (head to the station, past McDonalds and it's on your right) as they're amazing! I'm not sure how the side rooms and lower floors compare, but we were really impressed with ours. The hotel will also hold your bags for you free of charge after you check out in case you're doing some last minute exploring. The wifi is good enough as long as you aren't streaming any HD videos. The main entrance of the hotel was closed during our stay and access is gained by going into the Ibis Budget hotel next door and walking to the right of the reception desk. Ibis Budget's receptionist was useless at communicating that, and we ended up scaling the entire street to find the entrance when it was literally a few meters to his left! We'll definitely stay there again next time.

Clean comfy rooms. Just off the ring road with secure underground parking. Close to metro station. Only downside was the receptionist when we were booking in, who was very miserable. She must have been an exception. As all the other receptionists, in the evening and the following morning were very polite and friendly.

Looks good from the outside. Our room was a smoking room. We thought thatwas great bbecause we could open a window but that wasn't the case. Weasked to change rooms but where not allowed. We were on the 15th floor, heat rises so our room was sweating hot day and night. The cleaner would come in every morning and put the heating on full blast. Breakfast 9 euros each . Not a lot of choIce and the waiters were so rude. Overall a horrible stay in the hotel. Would definatly choose a better hotel at the same price next time

Fantastic view from hotel room

Went to Paris for the August Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel room was quaint but very comfortable and clean. We were on the 12th floor which had a fantastic view of Paris. The only downside was the location of the hotel as it took a good 30 mins to get into the centre.

Don't be fooled by the nice exterior to the hotel, the rooms are crummy. There was extensive mold all over the shower and bathroom. I'm a single guy in his early 30s and I'm not easily grossed out but this was disgusting. The carpets were thread barren, the air conditioning barely operational, and there was no option to open a window. Surrounding area had few conveniences and was a 30 minute plus ride, with multiple connections, to any site. I've stayed at other Ibis is before and they were fine, this place was bad.

Great hotel for the price

Service here was great, nice friendly and helpful staff at the desk. Room was on 10th floor so we had a view if the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Room was pretty standard but clean as with the bathroom. Only downside was, there was no kettle for tea! Parking was underneath the hotel and adjoining shopping centre, for a reasononable rate. And the Metro station just down the road, the area wasn't the most desirable though.

good value for the price. Our room was on the 10th floor - and we had a nice view of the city and the Eiffel tower :) It has very easy access to the underground and Montreuil has lots of nice cafes and shops. You are also very close to some nice parks to run in, including the Parc des Florals.

I booked the Hotel for the Paris Half Marathon - which was specifically in the area ..

Want to highly that after checkout on the day we left, the staff let me go back in the room to get a shower. They did not have to but they let me in - which i was thankful for.

Hotel is up to a normal chain hotel nothing supa good nothing supa bad. Would not recommend the hotel for familly but would do the trick for travellers or people ok to trade off on location.

the parking garage is completely gated. even people cannot pass through it.
after the first night i noticed that the sunglasses were stolen. the dashboard content was all over the floor. i had locked the car.
i told the reception and she said the parking has no cameras.
the second morning a pair of shoes was stolen from the car.
again the reception confirmed the parking has no cameras.
the 3rd morning when we were checking out the other receptionist said the parking has cameras, but the company that handles the parking will need police notice and it's lots of paperwork and nobody wants to do it.

shouldn't the hotel protect the costumers in such cases?? what's the point of a gated parking then? 45 euro for 3 nights !

- it was a 3 bed room, the 3rd bed was a terrible folding bed with metal bars in the middle of it.

- there is a dangerous and probably infected water in the lobby called \"detox\". it stays in the sun the whole day with some fruit cuts in it and smells like sewage. don't drink it.

Chambre confortable pour le prix, quelques travaux de rénovation sont à prévoir et nous étions au 15e étage, bruit d’aération toute la nuit mais on peut quand même dormir sans problème sauf si sommeil léger. Par contre aucun bruit concernant toutes les voitures qui passent en bas de l’hôtel, c’est bien isolé !

Petit déjeuner au top, tout le monde s’est régalé ! mention spécial à Ines qui a été adorable avec nous et a offert un petit goûter pour notre fils à emporter

The hotel is old, water didnt work, but at least we got a nice compensation with breakfast for one morning. Rooms are very small. Hotel is not located in a nice area, but atleast it was close to metro.

Overall, not goot hotel experience. I do not recommend.

Vriendelijk personeel.
Kamer netjes, maar kan spijtig genoeg niks verlucht worden.
Geen lawaai van buiten af.
Badkamer héél verouderd en schimmelrand aan douche,
handdoeken wel gewassen , maar gevlekt door veelvuldig gebruik.
Ontbijt prijs-kwaliteit zeker in orde.
Buurt geeft onveilig gevoel, veel daklozen, overal groegjes hangjongeren en mannen die 1 of ander handeltje drijven, men verkoopt aan ingang metro o.a. goedkope sigaretten.
