Feb. 17th 2026. I was not able to make the trip to Paris. I know it's my bad to forgot to cancel my hotel booking of 3-nights stay. However, the hotel refused to give me any refund for my booking, even though in the booking confirmation email that I received Sept 7th, 2025, it was clearly stated that (in my native language):\"..., or if you do not check in after booking, you will be charged the room rate for the first night and the corresponding taxes.\"

The refusal from the hotel is unacceptable. The costumer service from the agent Expedia is not helpful, either. They quoted a different cancellation policy to me:\"If you fail to check-in for this reservation, or if you cancel or change this reservation after check-in, you may incur penalty charges at the discretion of the hotel of up to 100% of the booking value.\" It's possible that this is the current cancellation policy, but it is apparently contradictory to the policy in my booking confirmation email. Shouldn't the cancellation policy go with my confirmation email back then?

Expedia also arrogantly told me:\"I would like to inform you that these policies are set directly by the property, and we are unable to override them. As a brand, we do not charge anything for cancellations or changes — the penalties are imposed solely based on the property’s policy.\" Then, I want to ask, isn't it your fault that you didn't show the correct cancellation policy in the confirmation mail first?

The staff was very friendly: kudos to Bruno, who really made us feel at home and spoke very good Spanish.
The room was lovely: two connecting rooms for a family of four with everthing we needed, very clean, well stocked.
We found a pharmacy, laundromat and supermarket within walking distance, as well as the Metro stop, which was convenient.
The room was clean and quiet, but bear in mind that stairs are narrow and the elevator only fits one person with luggage.
The area is not nice: we parked the car for 5 minutes in front of a garaje door to unload luggage and a local started screaming: Bruno was very helpful with this. There is not much space outside the hotel for temporary parking.

We witnessed an argument between a drunk customer and the pharmacy clerk, which convinced us it was not an area to walk around after dark. Laundromat was safe and local people were helpful.
The fact that we had to leave the room key at the front desk every time we left made us also feel unsafe, but we understand that it might be a safety measure in case of theft.

Last weekend I stayed at your hotel but when I arrived on Saturday evening, the elevator was not working so I needed to carry my bags to the room, I was tired, I didn't sleep during my trip from Canada so I was too upset because I paid too much for a good service.

So the person who was that night received my written complaint that I hope you have it and I will like a reimbursement.

Also I will like to add that cleaning was not that good at the shower and Monday morning the sink was blocked

The property was in a bad area that felt unsafe and even the attendant at the desk told us it's not the safest at night. The rooms were very small and outdated. The elevator was tiny and could barely fit one person and one luggage. Overall we felt very uncomfortable and would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is definitely NOT 4 star!!! There are no facilities, no bar, no gym and no lobby. There is no room service and no restaurant or swimming pool... It's very expensive for this level of hotel. There were other 4 and 3 star hotels who are better and closer to the centre.

The room was nice and the maids were great at cleaning it, unfortunately the night staff were completely rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Very disappointing that we paid money to be yelled at by the night desk man. Additionally, while the rooms were clean, there appeared to be flies that had infested outside the hotel and on occasion worked their way inside the rooms. They would fly out if the window was open, however it was a little unnerving to see seven flies flying in our room after one night.

I was sharing twin room with my brother, and I must say that the room was very tiny. There wasn't enough space to walk or put suitcases. No iron or ironboard was provided in room but was available upon request but then no room to put it anywhere. Toilet room was tiny as well. If you are tall and big you'll really struggle to sit on toilet as there isn't enough leg room between toilet and shower screen. Lift was tiny only two persons can barely squeeze in. If you are travelling with kids then you'll really struggle staying here. Staff was helpful and location was good, metro station was very close. But I wouldn't rate this hotel 4 stars and it was expensive compared to the money paid and what you get. Avoid !!

The Metro is close and there are a few cafes and stores close by but the area is dirty and run down. Our room was not big enough for two people. Nowhere to open a suitcase and a six -inch space to walk between the desk and the bed.

Don't stay here

A shockingly disappointing stay- the hotel was first difficult to find, is small, old, and has very few amenities including an actual airport shuttle that is claimed to be available on the website. I've never experienced a hotel that did not have availability 24 hours besides the front desk. The neighborhood is mainly residential, which makes it inconvenient for hours past 8pm. I would never stay here again.

Great location,poor Breakfast and WiFi

The location was great, it was not in the city center but close to the city center by train, by tram there are close-by areas with nice restaurants to eat. The receptionists were very nice and helpful.

The hotel room was rather small for two people. Breakfast was appalling, the hot buffet was always cold and tasted stale (i wonder if the remains from the day before was served for breakfast). The WiFi was nothing to write home about very slow and need to be reconnected every other minute.

Overall it is not a bad hotel if the breakfast and WiFi is further improved

Pleasing, Adequate Hotel in the Paris Area

Hotel is small & pleasant, no bar, the room was fine but the carpet had many stains. We were only given 1 bath towel which we complained about at night and no milk for tea/coffee-nothing was done about the towel as apparently the staff member forgot. We complained again this time it was delivered straight away. Staff were friendly and good, transport was close by.

For a brand hotel and the price we paid, the stay was very disappointing. The room was small, even by European standards. The elevator felt like an MRI machine...so small and claustrophobia-inducing; could only fit me and one suitcase. My husband had to wait for the elevator to come back down to get him and the rest of the luggage. The area is close to the train station - the only real bonus - which made accessing downtown each day very easy. This stay was a turn off. Would not stay again.

Came to visit our family, so we looked for a place in the Nation area. We found the hotel very conveniently situated, both for family purposes and for getting anywhere in Paris.
Also, there is a big market of food, cloths and a lot more, along the Cours de Vincennes in the mornings of Wednesdays and Saturdays. Worth visiting.

Tiny&Inconvenient.

The rooms are so small, the elevator can barely fit one person and a piece of luggage, the hallways are extremely narrow and rooms are so close to each other. Seems like a house was converted to a hotel. Location is close to public transportation but it takes about 40 mins to get from center Paris. Neighborhood is kind of scary and dirty. Definitely not a Best Western standard, not worth what we paid for. :(

Our room was very small, and a bit hard to move around in with 2 large suitcases. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air condition did not work.. fortunately windows opened so had cooler air circulating. Lift is tiny (1 person 1 bag) and slow. Area is handy to transport and cafes. While we were staying we had the sound of running water in the walls as their was a leak they were trying to find. Breakfast was OK however the woman in organizing it seemed to spend most of her time talking on her mobile phone? Items on the buffet would run out and not be replenished unless you made a point of asking. overall a bit of a disappointing stay really for our last week in Paris.

Upon our arrival we've discovered the sink in the bathroom was leaking. Reported the issue right away and two ladies (including hotel manager) came to fix it. Fix it they did not. It stopped leaking until the next day. We've once again reported the issue and been told by the manager they will either fix it, or move our belongings to the room next door. We've returned to the same room at night, after long hours of sightseeing, only to discover it was dirty and sink still not fixed. We have then found out that the information was not passed on to the next shift properly, hence we had to pack and unpack again in the room next door. All this in the crammed conditions of the hotel. On top of all the inconvenience we've constantly been reminded we are second class guests, since we got ourselves a deal through Expedia. Avoid if you can!

Pleasant home away from home.

This hotel is located on the periphery of Paris, with good access to public transportation. The room was a delight, tastefully presented with all the essentials. The shower was a wonderful surprise, latest modern appliance. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, and one could come and go with a sense of security. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Good deal. A bit hidden but close to subway

Rooms are good, clean and comfortable. There isn't much nearby, and it's not in a walkable distance to any of the usual sites but the hotel is super close to the train station. Night staff was a bit strange. As a woman traveling alone I'm used to slightly uncomfortable commentaries, but these guys pushed the line a bit.

Fine for short stay - competent hotel

Needed a hotel in the area for a overnight business trip. So location was the main driver. Found the hotels in the locale generally expensive and so can't say this was one was value for money as breakfast was not included. The room was small (twin beds pushed together) but not cramped and nicely styled. En suite facilities were limited by space and so shower only. AC did its job plus there was minibar and safe. Free WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. Hotel over 6 floors (and yes, I was on the 6th floor) and so need to use lift (elevator) which was tiny. Said capacity 3 persons but I am not large and yet I would not have wanted anyone else in there with me! Breakfast offers two options - hot/cold buffet or an express one for less than half the price which gets you a juice, coffee, cereal bar and mini Danish pastries. Really can't find anything to fault it especially for a short stay but equally I would probably shop around if there longer

Tiny hotel at the dodgier end of La Nation

Hotel is situated about a 10 minute walk from La Nation so its in an area thats just a little bit tawdry . Reception area is living room sized and the bedrooms are tiny. We had a standard room and there was about 2 ft around the double bed , so more than one suitcase and you had an obstical course. The room was clean, the bathroom small but clean and modern. The staff pleasant, but only one seamed to have any idea about the locality and general touristy type questions……google was a better option most times.
Overall we stayed 2 nights and next time we'll look elsewhere.

Ok hotel in an ok area

Disappointing rooms for a not central hotel. The wifi didn't work well and there were no English language channels. Staff were pleasant but trained to sooth not resolve issues. I was told several times there was at least one English Channel, I searched and wasted my time and had to insist they tell me the channel # when I told them I tried that they weren't surprised. Same for internet, one staff member even gave me a new login - how would that help the speed??

Well Worth The Money Spent

It was great for what we paid! The staf was exceptional (especially the afternoon and night staff). They stored our bags while during our 3-day trip to Morocco. The hotel is right across the street from the train station; literally a two minute walk (if that). The rooms are tiny in comparison to what we were used to in the states but it seems to be the case for most hotels in Paris.

Great little spot in a big city

For Parisian standards this hotel is about what you would expect size wise. The room was adequate for our needs and the hotel on a whole was nicely modernized in a recent renovation. The location, a Paris suburb, was actually great. It was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle and have less outside noise when trying to sleep, for those of you who know how \"great\" European soundproofing is this means a lot. The metro station is very close, and it is the line 1 which is a major line for getting to main sights in the city. Although it seems \"far\" it is a great location and I would stay again!

The staff was polite and very helpful when I had trouble signing on to the free Wi-Fi. The entire hotel is non-smoking, which was plus for me. I was alone, and my room was very small, almost like a cruise ship cabin. But clean and up-to-date. Bathroom was comparatively spacious and well-appointed, including hair dryer. No sounds bleeding in from other rooms or the street (I was on the top floor). Breakfast was available for extra fees, and not cheap, but Paris is an expensive town. This is a great hotel for budget-aware travelers who are not intimidated by using the metro or walking comparatively long distances.

This niche hotel on the easy-access outskirts of Paris is ideal to tourist or traveler. Only a few steps away from the Porte de Viincennes stop on the # 1 Metro line, it gives one a delightful hotel with a Metro line that goes diretly to the heart of Center City Paris, and therefore sights and all other Metro lines. The hotel is spectacularly clean and well-kempt, and the staff is delightfully friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to asasist at whatever one may need. It is quiet and comfortable. The surroundin neighborhood has ample shops and restaurants, et al. For a person who DOES NOT need to walk out of his hotel's door and trip over the Eiffel Tower, who does NOT need swimming pools and gyms with spas, THIS is the hotel for you. My next trip to Paris WILL find me ensconced here again.

Quiet and comfortable Paris retreat

I had read back through the reviews of this hotel and was looking forward to a lovely, rehabilitated small hotel. That is exactly what we got! It was not in the centre of Paris but perfectly located to visit all the main tourist attractions of Paris. The closest metro station was Porte de Vincennes which was less than a 5 minute walk. There are nearby convenience stories which was really handy. The room although small (which to be honest for Paris is perfectly reasonable and to be expected) was cozy, clean and inviting!! After living in London for the past year, this room was luxury! The shower was roomy and amazing!! The beds comfortable and rooms cleaned expertly every day. I could not recommend this hotel enough as it outdid itself in every single way. Thank you to the friendly staff as well for their help and for putting up with our terrible attempts at speaking french!

Small but cosy

My boyfriend and I arrived to the hotel on Friday's afternoon. The receptionist was friendly and the check-in didn't take too much time, the thing that surprised us was we were asked to leave the key at the reception every time we go out. The other surprise was the lift which can only take two people at the same time and merely one person with a suitcase; the stairway isn't big either. Before we entered the room we expected it to be small but it was smaller than that. On the other hand, it was very clean which made us happy. The bed was very comfortable so if you spend days walking around Paris you will definitely get a good sleep at night. The bathroom in our room was small as well, but two people can manage to use it at the same time.We were on the 5th floor and the WiFi speed was pretty fast there, but there was only one English channel on TV (BBC World News). For those who like to read there was always New York Times at the lobby.

Room was very clean and nice but didn't had any view. It was only 25 minutes far from airport and stafe was very friendly. My friends and I had very good time.

Rooms very warm, very efficient desk staff.

Overall, this hotel provided what it said it would. Comfortable rooms, clean - baring some stains on the bedroom carpet and VERY helpful desk staff. On the negative side, the rooms were very warm, I had to change the HVAC controls to english to try and set the controls to cool.

Clean and comfortable hotel 3mins walk from metro

The hotel is about 3mins from the nearest metro exit. Although the hotel room is a little small (similar to most Japan hotel room), it is very clean and comfortable. And also there is aircon in the room.

Good value for money!

This hotel is a little off the center but walking distance from porte de vincennes metro station and within 20 minutes ride to most attractions. The rooms are small, as expected in paris, but look quite modern and tastefully done. At $134/night, it was a good value for money. The hotel staff was courteous and friendly.

Elevador impraticável

Quarto limpo, espaçoso, com frigobar. Banheiro deixa a desejar pois não tem quase bancada que possa aproveitar pra suporte com coisas pessoais.
O frigobar fica dentro de um armário, o que prejudica pra guardar alguns alimentos pois fica muito quente dentro do armário.
O ar condicionado não gelou muito bem, e deixamos a janela aberta pra compensar o abafado.
O corredor é muito estreito. Só passa uma pessoa com mala. O elevador só cabe uma pessoa e mal entra a mala, além de demorar horrores. Não recomendo pra quem está com muitas malas ou família grande, pois terão que fazer várias viagens. Ele é pequeno de verdade!

O recepcionista só fala francês. Não conseguiu nos ajudar em inglês.

A localização é muito boa e próxima ao metrô, mas é distante dos principais pontos turísticos.

O quarto em si, é bem espaçoso e confortável, mas não me hospedaria novamente nele.

Hotel bien en dessous de la moyenne des 4 étoiles que je fréquente normalement sur Paris.

Hotel atende o que promete! Elevador pequeno e quartos padrão Paris! Pontos positivos: o chão não era carpete e o banheiro era espaçoso! Pontos negativos, embaixo das camas havia poeira acumulada, corredores e elevador minúsculos, difícil locomoção com malas grandes!

je suis arrivé a l'accueil de l'hôtel, ils m'ont dit que je n'avais pas de réservation, j'ai du payer 117 euros en plus pour pouvoir dormir, alors que hotel.com m'avait débité 116,95 euros le 6 mars, je souhaite donc être remboursé de cette somme

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad. Het was een stuk kleiner dan we hadden verwacht, maar prima voor 4 nachten. De gordijnen kunnen helaas niet helemaal dicht, waardoor er veel licht naar binnen schijnt. Verder staat er in de kast een koelkast, waardoor het binnenin de kast altijd warm is. Verder ligt het hotel dicht bij metro lijn 1, en is het personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Voor een korte stedentrip raad ik het hotel zeker aan.

Tres bien accueilli a notre arrivée personnel souriants et agréables chambres correctes isolation exterieur bien nous donnions sur la rue par contre l isolation entres chambres a revoir (nous avions 1 couple tres expressif certainement dû a la st valentin 😱) sinon l hotel reste correcte
