The room wasn’t properly cleaned. There was dirt in the corners and the hair dryer handle was so gross I didn’t even want to touch it. Made me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned properly. I wanted to switch rooms or at least get it cleaned when I arrived, but they refused both. Their policy is no room cleaning for stays under 8 days, which is ridiculous.
The real problems were the shower and heating. The shower was impossible to use comfortably because it would swing between scalding hot and freezing cold with no in-between temperature. The room heating maxes out at 23°C, and even then my thermometer showed it wasn’t reaching that. This is in the middle of winter.
I ended up calling Expedia customer service to complain. All I got out of it was a small voucher, which doesn’t really make up for dealing with these conditions for my entire stay.
Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because one of the receptionists was genuinely helpful and professional. He’s the only reason this isn’t a 1 star review.

After all my visits to Paris, this was the first time in that area, it was just a walk under a bridge to be out of the city an in Stn Denis

The hotel was very surprising, much more than I had expected. The people were very friendly, pleasant, helpful and accomodating.
It was definitely an apartment like setup. I was impressed with it's ammenities!
A stove, refrigerator, dishwasher & sink. The cabinets were complete with pots & pans, dishes, glasses, including wine glasses. There was a Napresso machine as well as electric kettle and every type utensil imaginable. As well as Ironing board & iron. The bath was great, again with amenities. I had a problem with the shower when I arrived, I told the front desk and went for a walk. When I returned it had already been taken care of and even checked in with me the next day, to ask if it was working properly. Over all I was very impressed with the facility! Thumbs up...

The property is across the street from a train that can take you to other train lines. Within 5-10 minutes you can walk to restaurants and supermarkets. There’s also some barbershops, laundromat,and hair salons. Most of the rooms were having an issue with the AC system. It would only get so cool in the rooms. There was no fan and you can’t open the window so some days that can be a bit difficult with the summertime temperatures in Paris. The two twin beds pushed together Were not properly made so I kept sliding down the middle. After I complained a second time to someone new, he sent housekeeping up there to reinforce the bed with extra sheets and linens, and I didn’t have the issue anymore. Also be prepared to wash all of your dishes in the dishwasher and take out all of your garbage before you leave, or they told me I would be charged a cleaning fee. So this is a hotel, but not really in that way. You do not have housekeeping come and tidy your room daily.

Amazing stay

Amazing, no noise at all, so deliciously quiet: that was our favorite part.
Very clean, right in front of the tramway, close to the subway, very convenient. Keeps its promises.
My only complaint was a fire alarm in the morning (not the property fault, but a smoking customer). They were trying to fix as quickly as possible the problem and didn't give us a lot of updates during the 15 minutes wait.
Overall, the staff needs to improve a little its communication at check-in, check-out and during exceptional events.
But really no regrets, we will return, it was a great choice.

We had a lovely 4-night stay - 2 adults and 2 teens. The second bed is a couch with a trundle in the living room. Plenty of linens and pillow, though an extra duvet would have been nice so the boys could split their bed. A bit chilly and some Paris law forbids above 22C. A nice bath and shower. Stuffy front desk staff - provided what was needed, but not so friendly. Expensive breakfast - we did not try. Shops, restaurants, ATM nearby.

Easy access to Metro for getting around Paris. We bought 5 day metro passes which were excellent value. The hotel was easy to find , clean and comfortable. We had a usable little kitchen with fridge , ceramic hotplate and dishwasher . There was a small supermarket nextdoor which we used for some provisions .Only negative was the air con on went down to 19 c and with the heat outside at above 25c it struggled to keep the room cool. Overall as a base to tour Paris it was well worth the money.

Clean, conveniently located and affordable

This hotel is close to the metro (10 min walk), has a tram line across the street and a grocery store right next door as well as good bakeries and more. Safe neighbourhood, you'll need your key to get in the hotel and in the elevator to your room. Courteous staff (although some were clearly new as they were not aware of the most basic information). Our studio could use a fresh coat of paint but kitchenette was fully functional (with Nespresso machine) and both the bed and sofa bed were super confortable. Breakfast is too expensive, especially since there are two great bakeries in the area, and Nespresso machine in the room and a fridge in the kitchenette. We used the laundry room (no comment - really clean) and we noticed a small gym available for guests. The only major flaw - wifi was deficient for the whole duration of our stay (6 days). My daughter had homework to do and we had to rely on extremely weak signal or my data plan (which we had to replenish). Slightly disappointing since the hotel prides itself in free wifi. Close the La Villette, Cité des sciences et Cité de la musique, and the Paris Conservatory. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends, and I know we would definitely return for our next trip to Paris

Cheap & cheerful, great for families

Stayed here in the summer with young kids; cheap and cheerful apart-hotel with excellent kitchenette. The fellows at the front desk were courteous. Room was clean and functional, but very small. Efficient elevator. Pay laundry available, although front desk was not able to break bills to provide change. Grocery store just steps away. 10-min walk to nearest Metro station (Porte de Pantin), with most of Paris' main attractions accessible within 20 mins. The neighbourhood around the hotel was lovely and safe and clean. Delighted to discover La Villette nearby with museums, concerts, a huge playground, fairgrounds, restaurants, Cité des Sciences, etc. Lovely area! Would definitely stay here again.

It is a good place to stay but not really a four-star hotel. There is no bar or restaurant, elevator broke for a day, no water for a day, spotty internet, too far from attractions, no way to open a window or door for fresh air. I was happy because my prime amenity is great air conditioning which it had. Always get a hotel with a kitchenette. You will save a ton of money.

Great staff. However I booked a double, but it was uncomfortable to sleep in a bed made uo of two single beds joined up, with uncomfortable edge digging into our body. When people ask for a double bed, it should be a double bed with a double mattress not two single beds pushed together. It would also be helpful if parking instructions are sent beforehand or there is a way of letting them know that we require parking. Staff were perfect, area great but the room could be cleaner and bed more comfortable.

The comforts of home in a lovely corner of Paris

A final stopover in Paris on my way home to the U.S. The property was very nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well-equipped for preparing nice meals and resting in comfort. There is a fun little supermarket next door that has some nice items. The new tram is directly in front of the hotel and the area is really quite nice, if a bit remote. I can definitely recommend a stay.

We first arrived at the property at 2pm after travelling from the UK where we was under the understanding we was unable to check in until 3pm. We had asked to return at 3pm and without any hesitation we did. When returning at 3pm we was asked if we would like 2 beds or a double. We had paid and expected to have a double bed. They then responded with in that case the room is not ready and we would ask that you come back in 1 hour and then changed to 1 hour and a half. We was annoyed at this point but made our way out for the second time to return later that evening as not to waste anymore of our day. When returned and checked into the room we were first impressed by the amenities of the kitchen area and the grandness of the bathroom. However, when the novelty wore of we began to notice the state of the walls covered in black smears and scratches. The bathroom had short back hairs along the edge of bath.
After being that one of the main reasons we chose the hotel has the advertisement of air conditioning and whilst in the room finding out that the only offer in the rooms was heating. The receptionist informed us that the hotel didn’t have air conditioning and to add to the stuffiness in the room the window was unable to be opened. The false advertisement of this lead to a very uncomfortable 2 nights sleep in the room during a very warm weekend in Paris.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large but the cleanliness and stuffiness let the hotel down.

This hotel at best would be ok. Relatively new, it is far from the tourist areas not really amenable to walking around for things. It does have a grocery store right next door and a few other cafes, restaurants and bakeries. The tram is right at the front and the subway is about a 15 minute walk. As for the hotel itself, the staff was not very friendly or helpful except for one front desk person. They were not very responsive to issues, we only had one chair in the room when there should have been two .... even after asking for one more than once in our nine day stay we never got one. I had a shower head issue that took them 4 days to get to .... maintenance person doesn't work on weekends and then didn't come in .... it wasn't resolved by the time we left. The hot water was a hit or miss ..... during my shower .....

All in all would not stay there again nor recommend it to others.

It's a great place.
The tram stops right outside and links up to the metro.
The rooms have a kitchenette so you can cook your own meals which saves a lot of money on meals. There is a grocery store next door for food and a bakery a block away. There are also a lot of places to eat within walking distance or a short tram ride away.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is the second time we have stayed there and would definitely stay there again if we we go back to Paris.

The hotel was great! The only problem for a tourist is it's a hour walk to the Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Louvre area. The good news is that the public transportation is very close and convenient. Especially if you are wanting to go to Disney. The staff is very knowledgable about transportation to all major attractions and airports.

Location is good for the price, many eateries around, close to metro station, little grocery store next door. The rooms are quite nicely set up and clean. Staff is hard working but young and could definitely use more guidance - we were charged twice, after the sensor in our room stopped working and we were locked out, there was no master key available. They gave us a different room but were unable to resolve the issue until a manager arrived mid morning the next day - yep, no toothbrush, clean clothes or anything. They also failed to give us our requested wake up call for check out. Overall it was a good experience, with a few hiccups along the way.

Based on the pictures I was expecting more. First my room was incredibly hot. Not warm, but almost suffocating. The hotel has switched to heat and I understand this is a major transition. However it can be incredibly uncomfortable when you are in a hotel room that does not have a window that can open. Second, there is no vending machine or a small market in the hotel. So if you're parched and do not drink tap water, you're out of luck. The fitness room only had one functional cardio machine. If you're looking for an extended stay in Paris explore other options.

I didnt like that the property was kind of far from touristic attractions. Also, they turned off the whole AC unit in the entire building (except the reception area) so it was really hot in the room. Fortunately, we were able to open the window but apparently some rooms you cant open it. Coffee was not even complimentary. Also, they will not notify of an issue occurring in the building. For example, the water was out for 2 hours and we didnt even get notified until we called down to the reception area to see what was going on. This was the same issue with the ac, I had to call about the rooms ac not working and thats when they told me it was turned off because “winter was coming.” (That week we stayed there was hot) Overall, I was very disappointed with the service and my stay here. I WILL NOT BOOK WITH THEM AGAIN!

Great hotel within a neighbirhood.

The check in was flawless, we were 3 hours early and had been travelling for 28 hours, without hesitation we were checked in. The hotel has parking for €25 day, plus the metro line 5 is just a short walk away and very easy to get to & use. I would never rent a car again... there is a super market attached to hotel, your just far enough from city center you feel like you’re living like a real Parisian. There are cafes & bakery’s on your way to metro. Street fruit sellers right outside the metro station. The rooms are roomy & comfy. Loved having the kitchenette. Don’t waste €16 on the breakfast at hotel, when just down any street you can get the typical contenental at any cafe for two for that price or less(expresso,crossant&OJ) All staff were very nice. Always drawing on maps or printing directions for us until we got the hang of it. We would walk the streets at all hours of the day & night... never felt afraid. I will stay here again!!

I would have preferred a maid service to clean the room while we were there, that would have helped. Overall, I enjoyed this place and would definitely return. Great value for staying in Paris!

Comfy enough for what we used it for. Easy area to navigate. It is 15-20min from the sights but the subway system works so well. Right next to a road and you don't hear it. Fire alarm went off twice over two days as there is little air movement and someone was making toast. Room needs a little maintenance. But over all it worked for us pricepoint, location and comfyness.

Only negative was that they did not clean the rooms at all during our stay. No trash emptied. No beds made. No toilet paper replenished. I called downstairs for additional toilet paper and was told that I needed to retrieve it from the front desk. I just felt dirty when leaving.

Positives: grocery store on side of hotel. My mom needs orange juice for her morning meds. It was inexpensive and easy to get. Also, rail station across the street and metro an 8 min walk away.

Great experience all around! The only downside was the bed was 2 smaller beds pushed together, so as a couple that likes to be close together all night one of us kept falling in the crack, haha! But we expected that, we’ve stayed in a few places throughout Europe and they’ve all had the same type of bed. I can’t give them a lesser rating because of it as it really wasn’t an issue for us, but I don’t want others to be shocked at the bed. Everything was perfect. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean, the bathroom was AMAZING, we had a mini kitchen full of appliances including a dishwasher, a nice sized closet with hangers, a desk, and they even provided a safe in our room that we kept our passports and extra cash in! The staff was very friendly. I heard them speaking french, German, and English. I’m sure they spoke more though. Breakfast was very good and offered until 10am so even if you wake up a bit late you still have time to catch breakfast. Lastly, the location was the best part for us. Great little neighborhood & only a 5 minute walk to the metro line 5. There was a market and a couple good cafes right around the corner too. My husband and I preferred to be closer to the airport because our flight back home was early in the a.m. we took line 5 to Gare du Nord and straight to CDG from there. Took right under an hour. It was great for our wants and needs. I highly recommend this hotel.

Too far from main attractions

The hotel was clean and quiet. However, the rooms were very small, hot, and not cleaned the entire time we were there. The hotel was in the outskirts of Paris and the commute to the main attractions (i.e effiel tower, notre same cathedral, etc.) took a very long time. We wasted a good 40- 1 hour each day getting to and from our hotel to the inner sections. Restaurants around the hotel only spoke French. Would not go back to this hotel nor recommend. We wasted a lot of money on the commute because everything was too far.

Nice suite hotel by Addagio. With green color and shape it reminds me of a lama bean. Rooms have bedroom and kitchen area with toaster, microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher. I had quad rooms, which has separate living area with sleeper sofa (separated by a sliding door). has small closet near kitchen area for living room guest. Living room also has a desk. Decent bathroom with tub, and nice touch of tower warmer and hugh towel (size of beach towel). Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Free hot breakfast. Parking is extra 25e, park the car on sidewalk to get a key card and drive about two blocks away but exit comes out by hotel entrance. Other charges include city hotel taxes about 3e per person ($43.85 for 6 for 2 nights). Tram T3B is right front and grocery next door. 400 m west has several restaurants. Good transportation with T3b right front and Bus75 but does take about 45 min to get to Paris attractions. For a first Paris visit with family of 6 with limited mobility we had no problem getting around. (Paris transit doesn't have lots of elevators!)

I thought the hotel was okay. Your close to a tram, plus have a market next door. However I had a hard time shower because the shower head is something that you have to hold and there was no complete door. It was half covered.

We have stayed here several times before. Usually excellent and always give positive feedback.
This time appalling. Reception staff did not appear interested in any problems, (appear to be a lot of new faces), nor willing to offer solution to concerns. No greeting on arrival or departure each day.
Cleaning was practically non existent, change of towels and trash can liner on day 2, for the other 8 nights....nothing! Despite asking cleaning woman for another rubbish sack & some towels on several different occasions, none were forthcoming.
I appreciate that cleaning is limited but nothing for 8 nights is appalling.

I would not recommend this place to anyone unless this is used as a last resort. The hotel is advertised as an \"apartment\", but really it's just a slightly bigger hotel room with a stove shoved in it. The cleanness is less than ideal and the housekeeping that is supposed to come every 2 nights never actually showed up. When asked, we were told that the housekeeping actually shouldn't come at all, directly contradicting their postings. Water didn't work for an hour on the day we checked in neither.

Great value for a spacious suite (Paris standards)

We stayed 6 nights and we will stay again.

Pros: practical Kitchenette with dishware and dishwasher, good free Wifi, relatively spacious, new and clean rooms

Cons: The two separate single beds put beside each other moves all night as you move in the bed, the water from shower which gets cold and hot, no dining table in our room (I assume they have it in their bigger suites)

The location was good for us, safe and clean neighborhood and you can get anywhere in Paris with one metro ticket. The room was relatively quiet, even though we were right above the highway. There is a supermarket right next to the building with reasonable prices.
There is a housekeeping every other day.

Parking is 25€ a night

Don't be cheated, they say self parking but when you want to \"self park they ask for 25€, rare public parking availability!

Reception wasn't understanding, I showed him where it say self parking, he said that's a mistake and they should change it.

Would recommend this hotel to guests who don't have a car.

Worst place to stay!!! Never again!!!

The room was dirty upon are arrival. The bathroom had a weird smell and didn’t look very sanitary. The bedding had an awkward smell/tone. There was no housekeeping services unless you stayed 3nughts or more but it’s not like that made a difference because the room was already dirty to begin with. Our room keys kept disactivating and if no one was in the lobby we would have been stuck outside. I could go on but I think you get the point...

Nice hotel however guest should be made aware to bring household items. I.e wash cloth and cleaning products. Also hotels is very far from city life. Uber is needed. Check in is also slow!!!! Waited 3hrs after arrival for rooms to be cleaned.

Excellent but long commutes

The hotel was really a studio apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable with a mini fridge, microwave, stovetop and even dishes and pans (I did not cook but used the dishes). The location is a minimum of 25-30min by train (Eiffel Tower is 50min) and you have to switch trains at least once. CDG is about an hour by train. The tram is right outside the door and the 5 train is about a 5min walk (3 blocks). There are a few cafes and a McDonalds and bakery close by. Also, it was very convenient having a grocery store right beside the hotel. I would stay here again for the price and it's a very safe neighborhood. I did not mind the longer commute because I was out all day anyway. All of the front desk staff were great and helpful. Sofiya was always welcoming when I walked in and willing to answer any questions.

Friendly helpful staff, from Reception to Cleaners. Rooms comfortable, clean & well equipped enabling us to prepare our own meals.
My only issue would be inability to open window in room, therefore only a/c no fresh air, considering I always sleep with a window open this made it a little uncomfortable for us.

Amazing 3 night stay. the two ladies at the reception were very nice, polite and helpful. Even offered her personal items when I forgot mine and because the shops nearby were closed on the Sunday. Would definitely stay again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - UNWELCOMING STAFF

House keeping - made the bed, left trashcans full, Beats by Dre headphones stolen - was promised an email follow up, but no contact. It's been exactly 1 week.

Dirty towels in the room - hair and dirt.
Dirty dishes - not washed cups. GROSS.
Complimentary water bottle in one room, but not the other.
One room was charged for use of iron, but the other room came with one free of charge.
Staff members are extremely rude and does not want to accommodate guests.
Would not come back here.

Ok but not a real \"hotel\" by North Amer. Standards

I might recommend the \"hotel\" to someone but I would note it is more of an apartment residence style operation than what we North Americans call a hotel. Your room only gets a minor cleaning and fresh towels every 2 days and for the entire 6 day stay the bed was not changed and it took 4 days in before they cleaned the bathroom with cleaning products. The staff was great overall but if it was truly a hotel I should not have to go ask for more toilet paper and fresh towels when they run out! I would give it a 3 star by Canadian standards but overall it was an ok place.

Convenient if need to be in La Villette

Convenient location for attending gigs at La Villette. Reception staff that evening were not particularly welcoming or friendly. Did the bare minimum. Just robots handing over your card key. The room was tidy, but the floor was dusty, found someone else's hair by the bath. Disappointed that there wasn't even some tea bags/coffee sachets available as you get in pretty much every hotel.

A different part of town

We enjoyed staying here for a night after we arrived at the train station. Cool view on a rainy day from our huge windows. Lots of space in the room. Reception was good.

This hotel is an amazing place to stay and very comfortable location all the local store & metro are near by. Great area. Services are excellent & very helpful. Very clean & condition is very good, very secured. Staff are very co-operative, I like to go back Paris and wish to stay with them again.

Do not follow Hotel Reviews...

We have book a vacation for a EURO trip and Paris was one of them, as we all do we look thru all hotels rates and reviews plus what the hotel offer of amenities...when we booked the hotel and since these days WIFI is one of the factors determine any individual to book a hotel or not, hotel offers free WIFI so we have booked this hotel...after arriving and checked in, hotel staff informed us that their WIFI has an issue and they do not know when they can get it....so we stayed their for 4 days and internet was not available, it was very disappointed for us and the kids as we use the internet to communicate and call family and friends back in the US, on top of that the TV was on digital signal/WIFI and we did not have TV to watch for the whole period we stayed...

Hotel are more than happy to charge you for the room right away on your credit card, I thought as good faith the hotel or Expedia notify customers like us that some of the Hotel amenities is not available, or at least after too late and checked in Hotel will compensate you or refund some money, but seems this is not how they work, happy to take your money but hard to get something back...

Expedia Rep; I would like to be compensated/refund at least for a day, which include room day rate and taxes/city taxes?

An overall pleasant stay

For the most part, the stay was great. They definitely do wait until 3:00 P.M. to allow you to check in, not a minute earlier. The first night, was the only one that was not pleasant at all. The power in the room went out at about 7:00 P.M. There is no technician at that time so we spent the first night with no power. The desk person said the hotel was booked so there was nothing he could do. After that night, the rest of the stay was very good. All of the staff was very helpful whenever we had a question about anything and even offered suggestions about many other things. We did not eat the breakfast there because it seemed overpriced. The hotel is very nice in a neighborhood that is not so nice.

Great Hotel at a great price

Enjoyed our stay. Nice room with 2 pushed together single beds, fridge, built in hot plate, coffee maker, dishwasher with minimal dishes, microwave, safe and shower/bath. A little far from the downtown but very do-able with public transit. Room was made up only twice in 6 day visit.
