This is a good value 3 star hotel. Staff were really nice. I stayed for one night, it was last minute and I was travelling elsewhere the next day. I will not return. The rooms are fine, but there is a very strange smell in the corridor. The vicinity near this hotel at night is very bad. I certainly would not let my wife or child stay here as it is not safe. There were drug addicts and a lot of non nationals hanging around street corners, some are intoxicated and approaching everyone that walks by. Not good. Go elsewhere if youre a tourist, spend the money and be safe.

Room was fine and the staff was terrific. Only two things of note on the negative side — the metro rattles the room about every 15 minutes and there were some little ants on the table (nothing dramatic). Otherwise, terrific place and reasonable rate.

I've never been to France so I was caught off guard by the size of the room. I am 5\"5 and weigh 170lbs. The shower was very compact and when I moved around; i kept bumping into the shower handle and the water temperature would change from hot to cold.

Let's start off with the positive. The hotel staff are genuine, and very accommodating - they will do their best to ensure finding your way around Paris and using the Metro/RER is a breeze, they are friendly too... My only problem (and the reason this is not 5 star) is unless you're in the beautiful centre of Paris, the further you go from the centre, the dirtier Paris gets, and more dangerous it can start to feel for some... I'm all for experience, this hotel would be worth every penny if external to the hotel was of the same standard as the best parts of Paris...dont let this put you off staying, it is a very convenient location, for first time visitors just be aware and ready to accept the fact Paris has its own charm, along with its less than charming side...

Pros:
>air conditioning (turn this on w/ sound of sea videos from YouTube to beat the traffic sound as you are right next to the road, I'm a light sleeper and it works a treat),

>gym (if you're a gym person, you'll have it to yourself and may have one of your more memorable gym sess's here),

>Convient location - can walk to the Louvre in 30 mins, or catch the Metro which is 2 minutes from hotel - shops and supermarket 2mins from hotel (did see a rat in store. This is part of the less charming side of Paris I mentioned above)

This place was absolutely amazing. It is definitely true what people say about the size of rooms in this hotel (TINY), but you are in the middle of Paris! I personally did not spend much time in the room. Other than the fact that the room was small, it was clean, modern, the air conditioning work, and the location really can't be beat. We fortunately had folding bicycles to get around town, and everything we wanted to see was around a 20 minute ride away. If you want to take the Metro, it is right outside of the hotel. The parking that they offered outside of the hotel was extremely close and affordable. The hotel on paper may only be two or three stars, but they definitely provide a five star experience.

This hotel ended up being farther from the center of the city than I thought, but the metro station was just a block away. The room was definitely smaller than pictured but it was clean. I was surprised at how loud the metro was from the 6th floor. You could hear and feel the rumbling each time it passed through. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely appreciated the elevator!

Quaint Boutique hotel close to train

Convenient location, close to metro, walkable canal district, plenty of restaurants and grocery options around. Friendly staff. Quaint room, clean shower, sufficient bed -- my only issue was the stains on my carpet which are probably a challenge to keep up with given it's a light grey color.

Hotel Tilde is a really nice, cosy hotel, in a good location- 2min from metro station-right next to a super market- 25min from city centre with metro! All reception staff was really helpful and kind. There is an elevator to the higher floors. The room was small, but really stylish, cosy and clean with good facilities (even a nespresso machine)! The bathroom is ok with small shower and good amenities! The mattress is really good! Parc de Buttes-chaumont, close to the hotel is really nice to visit. Overall a really nice stay! Totally recommended! We will surely return when we visit Paris again.

Lovely Hotel in Lovely Paris

Amazing stay. Lovely comfy room, not big but not small. Bathroom modern and clean. The room smells amazing!!!! The area is awesome so many options for food. Some of the reviews made me hesitant at first because people were calling the area shady, but it’s a lovely neihborhood with people of all ethnicities and races. I’m assuming the people that called the neighborhood questionable weren’t expecting to see minorities. You are expected to leave your room key with reception when you leave the hotel but it’s not a must. Overall great experience! I will definitely stay again!

It is a really nice tiny hotel!
Room was clean, the localization suited my perfectly, breakfast was also tasty (though would have been better with some more vegetarian options - like even some tomatoes or at least cucumber for the bread, not only ham).

It was all good, though I was refused to get a receipt - as I was told booking through Hotels.com means it is already paid and the hotel staff didn't want to give me their receipt -I don't really understand why.
It's also a bit challenging with the parking - each time you use the parking place you first have get the keys to open the gate, go to the parking place -which is across the road, get the car, and then come back to the hotel and give the keys back, and the whole thing took a bit of time going back a forth to the hotel and parking place.

Clean & Conveniently outside Riquet Metro

Although a little on the outskirts, Riquet Metro Line 7 is a great direct line to take to visit the Louvre Opera.and other attractions. There is a fairly large lift which works.
The rooms are extremely cosy although with some creativity one can place 2 x 28\" luggage opened up in room ..but you would need to jump over it to get to the toilet.
The bed was comfortable and most importantly clean. Toilet shower works well.
Service was excellent in friendliness and all of them speak english!

Hotel was clean. Staff was ok. Room was just incredibly small. Could only hardly turn in the shower and I am not a fat person...
Disappointing that Room Service just came once at a 3 Nights stay. Sad but this is a big point for us that towels are changed.

Coffee machine did not work when we arrived and they took 2 days to fix. Coffee machine water container was only refilled on request, we spent 5/7 days on our room without coffee/tea due to one reason or another.

Some of the staff spoke poor english so they had a hard time understanding us.

On the good side the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean.

Bon séjour d’une nuit dans une petite chambre duo de l’hôtel Tilde, la chambre est pratique et très propre,avec Clim, et le personnel très agréable. Très pratique par sa proximité du métro, mais très bruyant par le passage de celui ci (murs tremblent), a par cela rien à redire sur la qualité/ prix.

Un hôtel très correct avec le sourire à l'accueil

Un hôtel très correct dans un quartier pas génial (mais les quais de Seine sont tout près : il est conseillé de traverser le canal pour trouver des adresses de restaurant intéressantes) mais à 20m du métro (du moins de sa sortie, car l'entrée est à 200m et bien cachée).
Chambre très propre, isolation phonique \"claissique\" pour Paris (excellente vis à vis de l'extérieur, moins parfaite pour les voisins), petit déjeuner avec viennoiseries et pain cuits sur place, sourire à l'accueil.
Seul bémol pour moi : ma chambre était plutôt exigüe (la salle de bain ne l'était pas), ce qui peut gêner des visiteurs plus corpulents que moi.

On nous a fait payer 29,80 € de taxe (pour 2 nuits pour 2 personnes) alors que d’après le reçu de Hôtels.com, on ne devait payer que 8 € ! Une autre cliente nous a dit qu’on lui avait fait le même coup. Tout ça parce que les taxes ont augmenté après le moment de notre réservation sur le site de Hôtel.com. C’est malhonnête !!!

accueil agréable et rien à redire sur la propreté,
le confort de la chambre très moyen: pas de table de nuit (obligé de poser le téléphone au sol) pas de porte serviette mais le plus désagréable est le système de chauffage : clim très bruyante qui souffle directement sur le lit qui chauffe un moment s'arrête (sans avoir atteint le niveau de température demandé) et se mets à souffler du froid avant de chauffer à nouveau, même arrêté on entend le bruit du compresseur.

A éviter, insonorisation catastrophique !
Bruit d'écoulement d'eau des chambres du dessus, bruit de la circulation, des voisins de chambre et pour finir le bruit et les vibrations du métro qui passe en dessous !
Ajouter à cela un debit d'eau dans la douche plus que limite et il faut être patient pour l'eau chaude.
Parking extérieur dont l'accès est une catastrophe (ouvrir la porte de garage avec une application.. au volant !)
Ceci dit accueil correct et chambre propre.

J’ ai réservé cette hôtel pour pouvoir utilisé la salle de sport et aucun matériel utilisable. J ´ ai vraiment été déçu dans ce cas là. Le presicé sur l’ annonce. J’ aurais dû ce tarif là réservé un autre hôtel .

Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel an sich war schön eingerichtet, die Zimmer waren klein aber fein und sauber. Der einzige Kritikpunkt wäre dass die Duschen etwas sanierungsbedürftig sind aber das macht einem auch nicht wirklich was aus. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert. Die Metro Station ist auch nur 2 Minuten Fußweg entfernt und man ist schnell in der Stadt bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten.
