Brief but bright stay!

A brief visit to Hotel Paris Villette, but a very pleasant one. My partner and I arrived very early and only hoped to store our bags while we attended the rugby. We were greeted by the really lovely Nadia, very patient with my French and so polite. She checked if our room was ready, which it was and were checked in. A relief for us to change and freshen up!
When we came back in the early evening I had stopped to ask how much breakfast is (10€pp) and got talking with the wonderful Maroud, who noticed we were in a twin room and arranged to swap us to a double. We hadn't thought to ask or minded earlier, and it was incredibly kind of him to do this for us.
Both rooms we experienced were clean and comfortable with air conditioning, needed in the heatwave! Breakfast is mostly continental with sausages and scrambled egg, personally I would have liked more fruit options, but this is personal taste.
Thank you so much to Nadia and Maroud, your customer service is brilliant and really added a personalable yet professional touch to our stay in Paris.

We chose this hotel to give us more scope to see more of the city than just central Paris. As we were out all day we didn’t need a huge amount of space so the was ideal. The hotel has easy access to the metro and trains. It is not in a tourist area it is where ordinary people live.

The hotel was well maintained, clean and regularly serviced. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat though no Vegan friendly we could find. However the restaurants will try and cater for you.

The staff was friendly and helpful but the property needs some updates. The street were is located is a little unsafe, don't walk around at night.
The walls are paper thin we can hear everything from people getting in and out their rooms to coughing, talking, we couldn't sleep at all there's a lot activity at night.
Not suitable for families and not long stays.
You have to leave the key in the front desk if you step out the hotel and ask the key back to get into the room, so there is a 24/7 front desk for that very reason.

The room was very small and not even close to the pictures i saw, when i booked the room. I was not even able to open the window without hitting the bed. The blanket and pillows were damp, and the hairdryer didn't work.

The floor inside the room is not comfortable. Complicated wifi connections. Bath tub is weird folding glass door. The door key needs to surrender to the front desk every time tine you walk out and retrieve it back every time you enter yiur room. Its the old fashion key thats so hard to lock and unlock the door every time I use it. So many different staff works on front desk. For 2 nights stay I encountered 4 different staff.The last person on duty was so unpolite and very arrogant his name is Ammed very poor and bad customer service. Very disrespectful. It was a bad experience. This place is highly NOT recommended! Horrible front desk staff Ammed.

The rooms are spacious and clean. We were in a room with a double and single bed. But still plenty of room to move around. Would have been fantastic if there was a kettle as well. But other than that it was great place to stay for a 2 night trip to Paris.

The hotel and their rooms look exactly like the image. Front-desk staffs speak English very well and friendly. Hotel location is great since it's close to restaurants, metro 7, RER 7, and many groceries stores. Our stay was wonderful except the neighbor noises. The wall is too thin (i think), thus people who are light-sleeper will not like it so much. Also, depending on others neighbor that's on the same floor as you. I was unlucky to be on the same floor with loud voice people and they stay up all night to talk... IDK where did they get the energy from? We contacted the desk person but nothing can be solved. Otherwise, this is a great hotel for excellent deals to stay in.

The cleaning crew seemed very friendly and offered to clean up the room. The problem I had was with noise. The hallway is very narrow and you can hear absolutely everything from the room across the hall, all their discussions and their wild sex, so I could not sleep well and this went on till 2 am. :) So, sound isolation of rooms is the main issue. I could also smell cigarette smoke in the room. Otherwise, the hotel is conveniantely placed close to subways.

Clean and functional, with access to Metro/trains

Clean Hotel and rooms are well maintained. Smaller than average North American Hotel rooms but suit your needs for a basic Hotel room. 24/7 front desk. Close to the metro and a major train line (RER B) to get you access to all the Paris attractions and outside the city. Great restaurants and cafés nearby. They even have a hot breakfast buffet available for only 8 Euro/person. The area around the hotel is Quiet at night. Rooms are not soundproof but luckily guests while we were staying there seemed quiet overall. I would recommend for the budget traveler who just needs a clean, quiet, private and functional place to rest/sleep while you travel to all the attractions and areas during your visit.

The night we got to the hotel, the guy at the counter was very rude, the shower was super small, you literally can’t move in there. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, the beds were very uncomfortable. You can’t take your key you must leave it at the front counter. I don’t recommend this hotel, coustomer service is horrible

The Hotel was ok but only just ok... We had a room on the 6th floor... No air conditioning so the windows needed to be open as the weather was superb..

This is where the problems started.. How loud??? Omg... It sounded like a war zone with the odd mobile disco thrown in from the passing traffic... When I say passing I mean revving, beeping, music blairing... that’s not to mention the shouting... The road is not that busy late at night but busy enough to cause a racket... There was no kettle in the room and the shower itself was tiny... The location itself was in a place called Crime... sorry actually it is Crimee but Crime was what we called it... And it fitted... Personally I would stay elsewhere unless you are literally wanting a bed to sleep in... When the windows are shut - no noise so maybe ok when it is colder... Enjoy either way

Nice but very noisy

Nice hotel.Looks as it does in the pictures, pretty decent. However walls are very thin, can hear everything so if looking for a quiet stay, this isn’t the best choice. Wasn’t too happy that no hand wash or shower gel was provided, instead small shampoo packets and small bars of soaps were offered. Would rate cleanliness 2.7/5, overall a pretty good experience.

The overall hotel was good very clean and comfortable bed to sleep. Night receptionist some of them a bit moody not too friendly. Breakfast buffet could be better as giving a different day to day choices as we did pay a bit more for our breakfast.The area didn't like at all ,got lost when we got there had a lot to look round. The site when we paid didn't tell us the checking time,went there in the morning and got another room a bit smaller.hotel tax by government paid when we left but was not told about it and explained properly by the receptionist when we got there.In general cleanliness was good,towels changed everyday and bins emptied and some staff were very nice but others need a bit more training to make their guests stay nice .no coffee or tea facility ,you have to put money in the machine downstairs for a hot drink the machine at the breakfast area is only to be used at breakfast time when I asked so no hot drinks !!

Clean Hotel, But Noisy

My stay at Hotel Paris Villete was a decent one, not great but not horrible. The room was clean and included a desk, chair, a decent sized bathroom, a television with only French programming, and comfortable bed. My major complaint is there was no air-conditioning. I had to open the window to allow for air circulation, and it made the room quite noisy. Also, I got a number of bug bites during my stay in Paris, quite possibly from the window being open. Not at the fault of the hotel, there was a very loud group outside of the hotel downstairs (drunk?), who were yelling on a Sunday morning at 1 am. If you can find a room here at a good price, I would recommend, but consider the drawbacks when you book the place.

Our view was to an alley where homeless people were very loud every night until 3am. This made us feel quite uncomfortable. I realize the horribly hot weather was uncontrollable, but a fan would have made the sleeping more possible.
Breakfast was unpredictable and not always available for us.
Housekeeping was also in predictable.

location is ok close to the tirm so you can go to anywhere in Paris. If u need safety box u have to rent it for 5€ aday. Whenever u go out u have to leave ur room key at the reception which they change the receptionist ever few hours. And when u came back u just tell them the room number and they will give u the key. So anyone could get my room key because they don't ask for identification. That's why i had to rent the safety box. No air conditioner.

The location was not the best. Very dodgy area. Was there for 2 nights and on the second night we came back to the hotel late. Was not told there would be any issues with coming back late, but had to wait outside for 20 minutes because the guy was away. Would have been worse if the weather was bad. Parking was located a block away, but seemed very sketchy as well.

They have different staff and one of them was not so kind giving information. The internet was unreliable. there are bares and homeless people through the way to Metro; I felt unsafe to go out after 8 pm. The heater was up and down during the night.

A perfect location with a budget friendly price!!

Myself and a friend decided to visit Paris on a budget friendly trip.
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of January.
The hotel, was as it says, 5 minutes from Crimee metro stop. I found it very easy to navigate my way around town using the metro and the duration spent on the metro was no longer than 30 minutes to get to the Eiffel Tower.

We got a twin room which was kept incredibly clean during our stay, beds were made, towels were changed, bins emptied etc. Plenty of space to hang/store clothing and the rooms were kept lovely and warm for us which was needed after a long day of seeing the sites! The lobby was very inviting and the elevator was very handy indeed! We didn't eat here but there are plenty of restaurants/supermarkets in a 5 min radius of the hotel.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had an issue with the wi-fi one night and when we informed reception the system was back up and running in less than 5 minutes.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget, or who doesn't want to stay in the centre of Paris.

I do not recommend.

This is a pretty awful 'hotel'. The walls are mouldy, bathroom and room sticks. The only good parts are the staff are pleasant and its in a good location to get to the city centre. Only stay here if you cant afford the extra to go to a nicer hotel. I was convinced to stay here by looking at the reviews on here and trip advisor and I wish id have just paid extra for a nicer hotel.

Great 4 days.

The hotel is great. We were well attended and the room was good. The wifi was good and we had no problem with it. The only problem was that we had to ask the maid to change our towels because in the second day he did not changed. The hotel is not close to the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre but there is a metro station three blocks from the hotel.

A good, clean, tidy hotel with perfect English speaking staff in a pleasant neighbourhood, with useful shops and the Metro (Crimee) only a 3 minute walk away. Metro line goes direct to the centre of Paris. Good value for money. Excellent free wifi. Would certainly stay there again.

Nice enough hotel, fits it's purpose.

This hotel is ideal if you're looking for a slightly cheaper stay from the centre of Paris, as it is a short Metro journey away. We arrived in the afternoon and there were a few shops open on the 15 minute walk to the hotel, including a supermarket. On arriving at the hotel, it is on quite a busy main road with works going on outside. The staff are helpful, and advised on check out times, wifi access etc. Safety deposit box available on request. The key is to be returned to reception when you leave and need to collect it when you return each time. The room was clean, separate bathroom, colour TV and a decent bed. No-thrills but was a comfortable and pleasant stay overall. Good for the money paid. In the evening, the street to walk to the hotel might not be welcoming for some... it appears to be a less tourist populated area, kebab shops and a little rough, but there was no trouble at all.

Hotel Paris Villette Review

Ok-ish hotel. Not too great not too bad. The hotel property is old and lot of issues with the doors, walls, overall construction and yes overall wifi connection. There is not a proper wardrobe and waste bins in the room. The lift, chair and table are small and the bedsheets are sometimes not very clean or changed. However the coffee from machine was very good and the staff were amicable and helpful [I got my room changed quickly]. Rooms are hot but has got big windows which are ok. However, the hotel is near to metro and the communication to and fro for all major points in Paris was awsome. Quite a few good restaurants in the vicinity.

The location was ideal for access to a metro station and in a very colorful, multi-ethnic district. The room was rather warm, with no AC and a b it noisy from the street. At 58 Euro + good 7 Euro breakfast, we have no complaints. I f I had thought to ask for a room facing away from the street, we would have been even happier. Recommend.

Very nice hotel & great location!

I personally loved the hotel. It's very warm and small (great pillows & blankets). All basic amenities that you required are there; hair dryer, towels, soap, toilet rolls. If you need adapter to charge your phone you can get it at the reception. The receptionist is very friendly and gave us few tips to travel. The hotel is very close to crimée station and you feel very safe to walk even at night. Lots of shops in the vicinity like franprix, cafés and eating joints.
I recommend if you're looking for a small comfortable budget hotel!

It is located in an area with a lot of new immigrants, so is quite multicultural, but not the area where one feels comfortable walking home alone at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. La chambre était très humide. Le rideau était collé à la fenêtre les matins à cause de l'humidité. Je ne parle pas ici de buée sur la fenêtre mais bien de vraies gouttes d'eau. La douche était ultra petite (non visible sur les photos de présentation des chambres) impossible de se doucher sans devoir toucher les murs ou les parois. Il n'y a pas de chauffage dans la salle d'eau. Nous avons bien réussi à mettre le chauffage dans la chambre mais la salle d'eau elle est restée froide. Il faut choisir entre dormir dans le noir et avoir une salle d'eau froide ou dormir avec la lumière de la rue passant par la fenêtre de la salle d'eau et que le chauffage y passe une peu.
Et pour couronner le tout, nous avons voulu en parler à l'accueil le matin de notre première nuit, la personne était au téléphone et nous a ignoré alors que nous étions littéralement à 1m50 de lui, aucun signe, aucun regard aucun mot. Nous sommes parti au bout de 10 min sans aucun échange avec lui.
Petit détail supplémentaire, le coffre fort dans la chambre qui n'est attaché à rien et facilement transportable .... autant ne pas en mettre.

J'espère que cette expérience est une exception dans cet hôtel mais j'ai peu d'espoir.

Petit déjeuner très correct, rien à redire quant à la propreté des chambres et le confort de la literie. La bonne insonorisation de la chambre est à noter. ホテルの周辺は住宅街の中で、静かではありますが、それがかえって治安が良くないように思えます。ホテルはエレベータが壊れており、階段で上がらなければなりませんでした。スーツケースを持っていた場合は苦労すると感じました。部屋は特に問題なく、一人旅行に十分だと感じました。

Veldig gode senger å sove i. Reint. Fint bad. Litt dumt at heisen var ødelagt, måtte gå opp til 3 etg. Hadde et vondt kne, så det tok lang tid. Kunne vært informert om det. Hyggelige ansatte.

Déjà venue, et revenue ... propre et confortable, accueil correct.
Le quartier, en effet, n'est pas celui d'Emily in Paris, mais on n'est pas loin à pied (15 min) du bassin de la Villette et de tous ces restos, cinémas. On peut s'amuser sans (trop) d'inquiétude...

Bon accueil, chambres à la décoration sobre et soignée, bon couchage et salle de bain propre et bien tenue.
Nous avons apprécié également le calme de l'hôtel.
Manquerait juste la possibilité d'un petit thé ou café dans la chambre.
Pas très loin de la cité des sciences et du métro...
Nous reviendrons.

Un albergo senza infamia e senza lode. Si trova nel 19mo arrondissement, quindi in una zona comoda da raggiungere date le vicinanze della stazione metro di Crimée ma non vicina alle attrazioni principali della città. In passato, rispetto ad altre zone di Parigi, aveva un prezzo abbastanza accessibile, motivo per cui c'ero stato anche negli anni 2010, 2011 e 2014. È stato recentemente rinnovato. Se non avete grosse aspettative, è una sistemazione che può andar bene.

Très agréable séjour.

crimee 駅から歩いて5分くらいでした。
アクセスは良いのですが7番メトロは治安が悪く、実際に私たちもスリの被害に遭ってしまいました。値段的にも良かったのですが治安が悪くなる夜はメトロに乗ることはお勧めできないです。ホテル自体は良かったと思います。

Visite de l’expo Toutankamon expo super magnifique par contre service d’ordre sécurité et produits dérivés que je n’ai pas apprécié du tout au magasin de vente après la visite tellement magnifique de l’expo personnel très agressif limite très dommage merchandisings gravement déplorable Quand ont demande des renseignements réponses très sèche et pas compréhensible c’est honteux heureusement que l’hôtel était très confortable personnel au petit soin et à l’écoute petit déjeuner très bon et copieux café très bon à bientôt pour cette hôtel
