They charge for everything and anything. When asked for coffee capsules, it’s never available. Coffee should be available and free of charge at any given time for paid guest. We will never book here again.

Perfect room for a family of four

The room was big/spacious. The beds were comfortable and there were a lot of cabinet spaces for our luggage and clothes. Having separate toilet and bathroom worked very well for us. The bathroom has ample counter space for toiletries.

Great property near to metro, area is a building site between metro and property but is only a 5 min walk. Good service great breakfast and very friendly check in gentleman. There is no milk in the rooms or glasses only paper cups so ensure to bring your own. We also stayed in La Defense which was a nicer area as construction was relatively separate from the hotel.

Although the room was an ok size (not quite what we were expecting) and relatively clean, they were quite dated. The washrooms were split into two seperate areas - bathing and toilet, neither of which had ventilation. The area surrounding the property did not feel safe. The closest metro stop was about 500m away, however to reach it you had to walk through an area with open drug use and many unsavoury individuals. It was near impossible for us to get a taxi in the mornings, so we ended up relying on uber for transportation. There were no restaurants or cafes in the hotel or the immediate area, the hotel did however have a kiosk where you could order food delivery. Without improvements to the local area, I would highly advise families to avoid.

The hotel itself is very good, cannot fault it in any way. Staff are very nice and the rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The only negative point I can make is that the local area does not feel safe. Between the metro/tram and the hotel, there are drug abusers and homeless harassing people for money.

Brilliant arrangement of room. Very good facilities in room, such as kitchenette and a curtain separating the parents area from the children’s area. Great to have a bath and shower.
Breakfast has lots of options. The sausages were really nice. The pancakes were not great. The hot drinks were really nice.

This was not a Novotel 4 star experience because the lift to the underground parking was broken, the queues at breakfast were long due to a lack of seating, the bathtub was too used and shabby. The biggest issue here is obviously the unsafe location.

My stay at the Novotel was very disappointing; however, the main points are that I wish to make people aware that the worst is not the hotel staff, the dodgy people in and out of the hotel, or the inability to communicate since they barely speak English... The worst is the surrounding area, where there are many drug addicts, homeless people, etc. It is not a safe area to be in.

The Hotel was located in a very extreme dangerous area of Paris, we were very concern on safety issues around the hotel. Immediately after arrival we decided to look for other hotel in a safer place. we did not used the room and felt dissapointed with Booking in offering such accomodation to tourist from other countries. we request at least devolution of our paid booking. I am a frequest user of Booking but the offered hotel was extremely dissapointed. we invite you to visit the hotel at night time and will see the sourrondings.

Mix and not very bad experience

Bad smelly car park and drainage leaking for more than 2 days. Area was little scary surrounding with lots of gang and pick pocket. Hotal staffs are very nice and helpful. Clean and comfortable room.

I like the room size and layout of the room. I love the room furniture. Also the double bed was very comfortable. It had nice decor and lighting. It also had a bonus microwave and coffee makers. It had shower and bath rooms with modern elegantly decorated. Also separate toilet which is convenient.

I faced few issues. The single and sofa beds were good if it was given some attention. The duvet was completely ruined and uncomfortable. When i requested to change them, the staff started to challenge me saying this is how they are as its free. I insisted that according to my booking, it doesn't say free. I paid for double, single and sofa beds with breakfast. Then housekeeper attended my room to check. She was telling me the same thing as the receptionist. Then she asked me do you want to pay for extra service. Then i was annoyed and shown her the booking confirmation that i get all of that and paid for them already.. i wasn't expecting this from a 4* hotel. Then she bought me two double size duvet. Also when asked for toothbrush, i was told to buy it from ibis budget hotel next door. Staff attitude should change.

Carpet is very dirty and smelly room. Also the breakfast didn't have much options. However, i was happy with the deliciously cooked eggs.

Location was ok but not that great. It is close to the public transport and few shops nearby.

Overall, i am happy with the hotel and what they have on offer. The room was excellent and within my expectations.

Location was not convinient at all so we had to uber everywhere and theres no restaurant so no room service. It was a okay hotel with clean rooms however i think they recently evacuated migrants so there were swat vehicles outside accross the street 24/7. Building was secured with security guard and key card elevators. As long as you dont plan on walking around this hotel is decent.

There was a very loud gentleman and his friends in my room next door. They were smoking and slamming doors. I was offered another room in the middle of the night, which was nice. But it was the middle of the night... I would have preferred the party and the smoking was just halted. But the hotel was pretty good and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was pretty good too :)

I really liked the fact that the rooms were very spacious and clean. Some of the staff were friendly but not all. The hotel was great and within a short walk to the metro station. What we didn't like and was the deal breaker for never staying there again was the neighborhood. It was surrounded by homeless and drug addicts. We saw a few drug deals in the metro station as well as a couple of them doing crack. They never bothered us but it was scary to watch, specially when you have children that are also seeing it. Coming on the metro, it was always the last 3 stops before we got out where they would get on and off. We witness a few having verbal fights with each other. My kids would get really nervous once we got to those stations and the 4 min walk to the hotel at night seemed so much longer to us. If it wasn't for that, the hotel would have been perfect.

Modern, lovely and helpful staff, very clean and even place to iron clothes and fitness room free of charge. Only disappointment the area is going through its challenges which is not the hotel's problem more of a social government problem and should be fixed by Paris. The actual hotel is amongst the best hotel that I have stayed in, for my purposes. However, the taxi fare from station was a rip-off as the driver did not know the quickest way there.

The service was very poor, staff were not helpful, they could not understand English well, no wheelchair accessibility, no restaurants, no room service, one of our room 100% smelt like if someone smoked marijuana in there in the afternoon after our first day.
Taxis refused to drop us at that address due to harassment and robbery from the homeless people living in tents outside the hotel location.
Other guests were constantly having arguments with the front desk staff detailing their disgusts with the service and accommodations. I wanted to leave after the first day, but I had no other place to go, I definitely will not go to that location ever again.

This was a very pleasant hotel to stay in especially with a toddler. They provided a very large baby cot which was helpful and the ability to draw curtains to separate the sleeping areas was brilliant. Had all the amenities we needed including a microwave, kettle and fridge. The staff were pleasant. We did not use the restaurant or bar so cannot comment on that. We chose the hotel as the location seemed convenient for our purposes and we were right. The only downside is the area - run down part of Paris by spaghetti junction and lots of homeless people living nearby. We did get accosted by one or two people but they were harmless. We eould consider booking here again due to the excellent price value.

Homeless people surrounding the building liver under the road brigade. They beg at the junctions. You feel unsafe whenever you leave the building night and day. The issue is that bad the front door was locked all day and night when we were there. We had to buzz for entry. We tried to get a taxi back fro moulin rouge, two taxis refused, the one that took us told us it was the worst area in Paris. Shame as the hotel is actually ok in side just looking tired, but I guess if I owed it I wouldn’t spend money on it due to the area

Hated the fact I had to request the toilet to be fixed three times and no one turned up to fix it. The toilet was no flushing properly has it contiously kept flowing water in its ciatern which was annoying at night because I could hear it. Couple of my times my other room.booked we had to request the safe to be fixed and that got fixed
The local area was fill of druggies and drinks didn't feel safe especially with children with me. Such a big mistake of mine to book here.
The hotel itself was clean and like any other Novotel but with added extra of locked doors only accessible via the reception botton. Just goes to show local area was very poor and they needed extra security.

Never to hire Novotel SUITS in paris

First of all I would not suggest this hotel to any one. The staff is totally non cooperative a d tricky. Me, my wife and 2 kids 7/9 years went for 3 nights. Although the pictures seems good. They changed our room twice due to 1.AIRCONDITION NOT WORKING 2. FRIDGE AND BATH TUB WAS BLOCKED. Location is pathetic and very smelly due to poor immigrants living in tents and using washroom facilities on footpaths.
Hotel windows blinds are broken. Fridge doesn't work. No staff will guide you correctly even iron room if standing on next to it. Staff was so rude at reception. When we entered the safe was locked, to get it open we had to wait 2 hours due to manager forgot machine at home. There is nothing except spoiling your trip and time. Although its mentioned 4 star but in which manner ...this what the Managemnt a d Hotel.com Managent to think. Although we had one incident in our family when we reached Paris but even the Management of Hotel.com was so polite but hotel staff were non cooperative. I would not recommend NOVOTEL SUITS TO ANY ONE. It's better to have 2 star or less but with other chains or Hotels. It's guide lines for families and educated people.

Service from staff was excellent! Rooms were spacious, ac was in full gear for the latest heatwave. I do not mind that the hotel is a bit far from the city center for a much larger room with ac. The negative for this hotel is the location, there are just too many homeless near the hotel that makes it not worth moving around on the metro system with three small children in tow. I will not be staying here again.

It was a very nice stay. The hotel was nice and clean. The rooms where cleaned everyday and the staff was good. The area was good. There are some tents with homeless people in the area but They do No harm. They are just minding their business.
I would recommend staying here 100%.esay acces to the Town with metro linje 12 you can walk to the station 5mins, buss 302 2min from the hotel to Gade nord station takes 25mins' bus 153 also..

Beware of the surrounding campers!

I would not recommend staying in this hotel if you are a woman travelling alone. The hotel is surrounded by a refugee/homeless camp, there are a lot of beggards outside of the hotel and it can be a very daunting and scary experience. They are also doing renovations on the hotel, so expect disturbances.
