No bathroom door

No door to the bathroom just curtains. The bathroom is glass and right in front of the bed. The place also reeks of smoke and walking into the first floor a semi mildew odor hits you. Not the worst place but I cried when I saw our room. Also it’s 30-40 minutes by metro to the louvre and Eiffel Tower. Also pretty sure people tried to get in our door a couple times

The room was not clean, safe was not working and in the hallway it smelled of cigarette smoke. They have a policy that you need to leave your room key at the reception when you leave the hotel, however upon pickup they do not check ID, which made me feel uncomfortable as it seemed like anyone could come and get the key.
Staff was friendly and beds were comfortable.

Overall, I was pleased with my stay, especially considering the cost. The hotel is very close to Metro Line 2, Station Jaurès, which makes it convenient for those who ride the RER from CDG.

The immediate area is a little run down, but is gentrifying quickly and is seeing a lot of renovations and investment. Food, grocery, bakery options are all nearby. And, you’re not far from major attractions, like Butte Chaumont park and the canals.

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is available downstairs in the morning.

You do have to go up one story from the ground floor for the reception desk and elevator, which means you might have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. This also makes the hotel inaccessible to those people with mobility issues.

All in all, it was safe and clean. And, I found it met my expectations and needs.

The bathroom and toilet has no door so it was inconvenient to use it. Very small lift. No parking available even though they say on the website they have. So you have to find parking outside yourself with paying. The location is far from the city centre. Only the receptionist guy was good and helpful.

Avoid this place if you can! It’s not worth it!

Last minute booking, after cancelled flight.

Be aware that while it does have an elevator it does NOT start at the bottom, it starts after you climb a flight of the stair to get to the first floor.

While they offer handicap parking, it is NOT wheelchair accessible by any means.

When we arrived, we arrived with our hands full. My poor mom who is 76 and with Stage 4 Cancer, was struggling to get up the stairs with some of her things and the man at the front desk just stood there, watched her struggle, and told her to just come up stairs.

We went and dropped our things off and noticed there wasn’t a hand towel. So I went back down to ask if we could have a hand towel. The other man at the front desk, replies “what you don’t have towels”. I said yes and he replied “so you do have towels”. We gave you towels. He yelled something in French and Arabic then went back to talking on the phone and ignored me.

Also Be aware: Make sure you see prices listed for things in the hotel, because they will make up prices and say they don’t know where the list is for certain things such as printing, charging up to 1€ per printed page. If there isn’t a price listed for something go somewhere else to get what you need. “Nothing is Free in our Hotel” is what I was told.

Rudest customer service.

Room was ok. Beds were comfortable until you realize you have bedbug bites in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, this isn’t your place. Bathroom was ok.

Be warned!! This place is not as it appears. The pictures looked good and it was rated as \"good\" by other guests but it was quite horrid. The room was tiny, there was no air conditioning, the towels were old, nasty, and dirty, and the carpets throughout the whole place were disturbingly dirty. Would never stay there again.

Really great service from the friendly staff.
It was snowing in Paris during the days we were there and the room was perfectly heated, also no problem with water heating. Excellent location also with restaurants near by, takeaways, pastry shops with great croissants, supermarket, convenience stores, liquor stores and the most important, subway with access to the entire city.

Initial thoughts on check we're poor as the reception did not give any information re check out times breakfast etc....
Room was comfortable and generally clean, however the carpet had a lot of hairs in it which suggests it's not vacuumed after each visit
Location not fantastic but very close to metro stop so okay

If you are looking for a comfortable bed with good transport links for a decent price this is a good bet

Would stay again if I had to.

The overall stay was okay, the hotel staff was very nice and went out of their way to help translate things from French into English. They also offered some pamphlets on where to go and what to visit while in Paris. The cleanliness of the hotel was not good, the sheets had not been changed from day to day or even every other day. The sheets also had stains on them and smelled musky. The bed was not very comfortable, but each person prefers a different mattress so to each his own. The room itself was also unclean with large dirty spots on the carpets and stains on some of the drapes. The area the hotel is located is very charming and within walking distance to many great restaurants, bakeries, and sights.

Not a place to sleep when the weather's hot.

This hotel has no air conditioning. That would be alright except that it is in the noisiest neighborhood imaginable. The window is large and when open can cool the small room adequately. When closed it can keep out most of the incessant noise of the street. It can't do both at the same time. So either way, you won't get a good sleep.
Street noise at this location includes hundreds of motorcycles, dozens of sirens, and young men who yell at each other until 4 AM. The buses seem quiet in comparison. There's also an elevated section of the Metro nearby with an obnoxious expansion joint that gives a loud clunk for each axle that passes over it (4 per car, 5 or 6 cars per train). The Metro shuts down around 1 AM, and that's good, but then it starts up again about 5:30 AM.

Very uncomfortable, switched hotels to get away

I was very disappointed with this hotel. I booked for four nights, but transferred to a different hotel after two nights, even though I had to pay for two hotels. The rooms are very small, and the bath/shower were in a closet-like small room. Very awkward. The train that comes by every three minutes is very noisy and the street noise was very loud. The room was hot and uncomfortable. They charge for morning coffee and all amenities.

For me the only downside was CNN was the only English speaking tv channel but hey that's not what I came to Paris for, overall a good stay ! I'll defenatly use again.

Lovely clean hotel, excellent staff!

I picked this hotel as it is close to the metro. It was a lot better than expected, very clean and nice size room. The staff were excellent, very helpful and went out of their way to provide directions and advice. I would recommend this hotel and if I visit Paris again, would definitely book this place. The staff were the friendliest people I came across in Paris and cannot praise them enough. Thanks for a great stay!!

We only stayed here as a last minute decision and for one night. The hotel is well located near to the park and metro station. The soundproofed windows helped as it was noisy outside - there were crowds the particular night we stayed. Loved where they put the bathroom - unbelievable use of space. Very modern bathroom and had everything you needed. Just need to remember you are in Paris and so us Europeans don't really do air-con, or lifts. The spiral staircase and general feel was quite charming. It's not brand new, it's not modern but we knew that and we were happy. The bed was very comfy and the night porter was so helpful when I needed a taxi at an early time in the morning. Would happily stay here again. For the money it's really good.

The room was small but very nice. Decoration was pretty and bed was very confortable. It was spotless. Only thing I would have liked would have been to have some extras in the room, like a kettle to be able to have a tea when I came back or in the morning since the breakfast is not inluded. Staff is very helpful and nice. There is no elevator from the ground floor to the reception (which is in the first floor) but staff came down to help as soon as we arrived and when we where leaving. Overall, I was very satisfied and would definitely come back. The location is amazing!!! right next to the metro station, very easy to connect to touristic attractions

Don't bring your car!

Bad news first: The hotel is old with old fixtures and has the smallest elevator I have ever seen. The bed was uncomfortable and the noise from the nighttime deliveries to the local businesses made it very difficult to sleep. The parking garage they sent us to was full and we had to park on the street (huge headache). Good news: The price was great. The neighborhood was okay during the day. There is a bakery across the street and a couple neighborhood style bars down the street and a subway station within a couple hundred feet of the hotel entrance! The staff was friendly. They provided us with a subway map and advised us on how to use it. I would stay here again if I didn't plan to drive.

Well worth the price.

Nice, clean room. Excellent location near both railwaystations (Nord & Est). Nearest metrostation just a few steps away. Breakfast was next to nothing but there´s very cheap supermarket on the other side of the road. Also the bars and restaurants in this area are remarkably cheaper than those at the centrum.

Would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. The staff were not helpful at all. We asked for a baby cot to be provided, this was not available and we had to purchase one ourselves. The rooms were very small, could not open door to bathroom fully, had to walk past bed to get into bathroom.

I stay at this hotel when I visit Paris. The accommodation is basic, and a little disappointing that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, this is more than made up for by the friendliness and helpfulness at reception. Breakfast consists of delicious bread rolls and jam, with coffee/tea/chocolate and orange juice on a help yourself basis.

The lift to the rooms is small, maximum two people who should be close friends.

Whatever, I like this hortel, it suits me.

Located close to the Juares Metro it's ideal as a base to explore Paris.

Für einen Kurztrip nach Paris vollkommend ausreichend. Metro direkt vor der Tür. Supermarkt schräg gegenüber. Mc Donald direkt in der Nähe sowie Bäckereien und Cafes. Das Haus ist hellhörig, aber für einen Kurztrip zu empfehlen. Wenn ich länger wie 2 - 3 Tage in Paris gewesen wäre, würde ich mir ein anderes Hotel suchen, da die Zimmer recht klein sind. Aber für unseren Aufenthalt war es vollkommen in Ordnung

No more than 2 stars, at the most.

Booked a superior double room but got a room so small we had to take turns standing on the floor.

Had to haul our bags up a long stair to the reception and from there there was a lift barely big enough for a couple of suitcases.

Complained at smell of cigarette smoke in the room. Just got a shrug of the shoulders and a \"not everyone respects the no smoking policy.

The bed was big enough but stone hard no matter how we tossed or turned.

The bathroom was tiny with the toilet pressed into the washbasin and the toilet paper roll placed behind the toilet. Smal, thin and worn towels.

The walls in the room were scuffed and marked. The handle on the bathroom window almost falling off.

Who ever called this room superior should be firede.

Je ne vous conseille absolument pas de rester ici ! Surtout si vous n'aimez pas l'odeur des cigarettes ou d'autres substances.

L'hôtel lui-même est bien situé. Facilement accessible en métro ou en bus. Le personnel est amical et très gentil. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre car la première sentait mauvais.

Cependant, les chambres sentent la cigarette et les couloirs aussi. Nous sommes presque sûrs qu'ils n'appliquent pas leur politique \"non fumeur\". Les chambres sentent le vieux et l'humidité. Ne vous laissez pas tromper par les photos, les chambres ne sont pas aussi belles qu'elles en ont l'air.

Friendly and helpful staff, room was adequate and bed was comfortable, lift was small but did the job.
Neighborhood is good, metro is right next door and the city is easy to reach. Neighborhood was fairly quiet at night.

Gute Lage des Hotels. Allerdings konnten wir nicht baden, da der stöpsel fehlte und die Böden beinhalten den Dreck von gefühlten 50 Jahren, da sie uralt sind. Der Service ist für pariser Verhältnisse hervorrangend. Wenn man ein Zimmer ganz oben hat, gibt es sogar einen Fahrstuhl.

La estancia ha sido cómoda, tuvimos que cambiar de habitaciones por un pequeño inconveniente pero se mostraron agradables y dispuestos a ayudarnos. La primera habitación era triple y era más espaciosa, estaba en el último piso y aunque el baño se veía limpio era un poco más viejo. La segunda habitación era doble y más justa de tamaño, el baño y la habitación impecables, limpios. Había más ruido y era un poco molesto pero se podía dormir. El alojamiento en si está bien, no hay que esperar gran lujo pero es cómodo para patear la ciudad, tiene la parada del metro a escasos metros y un carrefour justo enfrente para alguna compra de primera necesidad.

El hotel es pequeño y el problema que tuve es que la recepcion esta en el primer piso y tienes que subir por unas escaleras muy incomodas con el equipaje. Mi mamá tiene problemas con su pierna y era muy complicado subir y bajar. Ya que el elevador esta hasta el primer piso. El precio es alto en comparación con la calidad del hotel.

chambre donnant sur la rue, meme fenêtre fermées beaucoup de bruit. mauvais isolation phonique des fenêtres ? surement !
de la moisissure tout autour de la baignoire.
pour 110 euros cela fait cher la nuit. il y a surement mieux autour avec le meme prix, mais c'était le seul dispo dans mon budget.

De beschrijving van de kamer gaf aan dat we een bad hadden. Dat bleek niet zo te zijn. De kamer was klein, met om het korte bed amper 50 cm ruimte. De glazen schuifwand die het badgedeelte (badkámer is het woord niet) scheidde ontbrak. Glassplinters vonden we nog onder de douche. Er was een schrijftafel met daarop een glasplaat. Die was gebarsten en met plakband aan elkaar geplakt. Gangen en trappenhuis waren bekleed met versleten tapijt. Voor één nachtje was het wel oké, maar voor meerdere nachten geen aanrader, snap niet hoe ze aan een 8,2-waardering komen bij deze prijs. Ik geef een 6, vanwege de zeer vriendelijke bediening en de ligging bij het Canal St. Martin. Metro is dichtbij.

Mitten in einer gemütlichen Straße gut eingebunden

Stilvolle Bäcker - und Fleischgeschäfte sowie Subway und McDonald in der Straße. Hotelzimmer sind sehr kompakt aber ausreichend groß mit allem , was für zwei Sterne entsprechen muss. Bäckerei gegen über ist für ein Frühstück gut geeignet und ist sehr günstig... Metro Station in unmittelbarer Nähe macht Stadtreisen sehr bequem! Alle Stadtteile sind sehr gut vom Hotel aus erreichbar. Autoparking ab 15€ bis 22€ / 24 Stunden verfügbar... Zusammengefasst- gut für einen schmalen Geldbeutel .

Hotel tres propre et literie confortable c etait un peu ma hantise d ailleurs...c est vrai que le seul bemol est le metro aerien juste à côté et l été la fenetre ouverte cela doit être bruyant...tres bon acceuil et services du personnel...je recommande vraiment

Très correct

Bon séjour
Personnel très agréable et attentionné
Chambres mignonnes,faites tous les jours, nombreuses prises électriques, wifi nickel et literie idem.
Bouilloire dans la chambre (pensez à amener sucre et sachets de thé ;) )
Petit déjeuner qui correspond au prix (boissons chaudes, viennoiseries, pain, confiture, jus d'orange)
A deux pas du métro Jaurès, nombreux commerces autour, cafés, restos et restauration à emporter également.
Ascenseur minuscule mais comme souvent à Paris, donc c'est chacun son tour.
Moyennement fan du concept porte vitrée et tout sur le même plan pour la salle de bains mais c'est une appréciation personnelle (et au pire il y a un rideau)
