The room was spotless and spacious , the Hotel itself was very well presented .
the room had not been used recently and took some time to warm up but fine afterwards .
the TV was a small issue as 99% of the channels are not English (normal for Turkey) some larger hotels allow login to YT now .

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bram in Istanbul. The hotel is owned by two brothers who personally welcomed us and made us feel at home from the very beginning. They helped us arrange our airport taxi and were incredibly attentive throughout our stay.
They provided great advice on what to visit in Istanbul and were always available to help with any questions or requests. The personalized attention really made a difference and made our experience feel special.
The breakfast was excellent, with great quality. Overall, the hospitality, warmth, and care we received were outstanding. I highly recommend Hotel Bram to anyone visiting Istanbul and would definitely stay here again.

If you’re ever in Istanbul you HAVE to stay at this amazing boutique hotel!! In addition to the location, design, amenities, cost, food and comfort…. The owners are hands on and create an incredibly high level of customer service and personal experience during the stay. You will never find better hosts! Two brothers from Amsterdam fixed up the building and are super attentive. The water is hot, the beds are comfortable, the food is good and one of the brothers is always around to help, even to get us to the airport at 3am. Amazing hospitality, we are so glad we stayed and will be back!!

This is the most welcoming hotel ever! Two brothers from Amsterdam renovated and are always there. One of them even got up at 3am to see us off. Has elevator, comfortable beds, hot water, free Turkish breakfast that can be adapted as needed. But what is most beautiful is the help that these on-site owners give you to enjoy the city. Recommendations for any activities you are interested in, advice on where to go and what order, even a taxi to the airport for only 50 Euros. Wonderful experience

The hotel is run by two very friendly Dutch-Turkish brothers, Ali and Tarkan. They go well above the call of duty and take an active interest in their guests and never seem to take time off. They completely renovated the hotel in 2019 so everything is relatively new and works. The breakfast is individual and excellent. I hope Ali and Tarkan can hire a manager soon and allow themselves some well deserved rest.

Location is also great - just a few minutes walk from the sultanahmet square with the Hagia Sophia. I would for sure stay here again if I’m back in Istanbul. Bram Hotel Istanbul was seriously the BEST in all of our boutique hotel stays in our many European travel experiences. Frankly, the extremely reasonable room rate made the stay at Bram Hotel even more satisfying.

We arrived and were welcomed by owner, Tarkan, a multi-lingual gentleman originally from the Netherlands, who immediately made us feel like true guests in the upscale yet humble entry lobby that is attached to the charming Cafe’ Bram.

Ali, co-owner, and brother of Tarkan, gave a tour of the Bram’s fabulous and comfortable rooftop terrace and brought our bags up to our spacious, nicely appointed, immaculate 3rd floor room. Both owners were on-site our entire stay and offered every bit of advice, suggestions, assistance, reservations and all around excellent service we could ask for. Some we didn’t even know we needed 😁. This made our stay a true “10” experience.

Bram is close and only steps away from all the major must-see Istanbul sites. Lots of stoney hills but very close in terms of walking. Do be aware of the difficult uneven stoney roads all over Istanbul, btw, if you have walking issues. Bram hosts assisted us getting taxi cabs we needed to get places, even tho they were close enough to the hotel to walk. We’re very grateful for that.

The delicious turkish breakfast was one of the many highlights of our stay at Bram Hotel.

I loved staying at Bram Hotel because of the friendly and caring way the brothers treated you. They are genuinely great people. They go out of their way explain everything to you. They offer suggestions and arrange transportation and Turkish bath for you. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom and shower was spacious and great water pressure. Breakfast was delicious. Turkish Airlines canceled my ticket to Nevsehir and i had no hotel booked, they stepped in and help. I greater appreciate your kindness and understanding. I’ve never loved a hotel so much! Words can’t do this hotel justice. I brought my parents with me and we all felt at home. Super comfy bed, room, terrace, and cafe. Quiet, perfect location, and amazing view. The service provided by the two brothers/owners Ali & Tarkan is unparalleled.

I texted Ali before and throughout our trip with questions, concerns, and requests. He didn’t just respond immediately, but it was fun, like talking to a friend. They never sleep or leave the hotel. Like magic, they are always available.

We loved the brothers & the hotel. We genuinely invited them over to our home by the end of the trip. They are the nicest, friendliest, and most welcoming people we’ve ever met. Thank you both for making our trip so memorable. I’m very sad to leave Bram and pray to return one day.

This small hotel felt like home the minute we stepped in. The owners/managers (ally and his brother) really go out of their ways to make you feel welcomed. What an unexpected pleasant surprise when we opened the door to our room! What we discovered was a well appointed, decent size, clean, modern and very comfortable room. Breakfast was an other pleasant and delicious surprise. The owners acted as our private concierge making recommendations, making reservations, arranging transportation, making sure that we visited the best of Istanbul during our stay. The terrace overlooking the bay was fantastic. Location in the historical area was another plus. I definitely highly recommend the RAM Hotel

I had an unexpected 2 day transit in IST. Based on reviews, I chose the Bram Hotel and I was so glad I did. Location is great, walking distance to historic sites and the tram. Roofside terrace with amazing views. Generous daily breakfast. But what stood out for me was the graciousness of the hosts who really took care of me like family. I got super sick the second day and they literally cared for me the whole day. I was sad to not be able to say a proper goodbye because I missed my alarm (for my transfer in the middle of the night back to the airport). But Istanbul is one of my favorite cities in the world and I try to go there when I can. I will definitely stay at the Bram Hotel again. Thank you Ali and Tarkan!

This hotel is fantastic. First of all the location - it is right near the old wall of the Hippodrome, and very close to some of the major tourist sites near Sultanahmet Square such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. I walked to all and the Grand Bazaar. The owners are two brothers who were so welcoming and helpful in planning my tour of Istanbul. The room was small but well appointed and so clean. I used the rooftop to write emails and loved the view (and was shown how to use the lights, etc). Finally, the breakfast was also delicious. Real value for the low price. And they arranged an airport transfer too when I left. I hope to go back soon!

Wonderful stay in the heart of Sultanahmet

We heard about the wonders of Turkish hospitality from friends well before our trip, but Mr. Ali and his team at Bram Hotel blew those expectations out of the water. Mr. Ali could not have been more friendly, professional, warm and knowledgeable. We highly recommend going through Mr. Ali to book your airport transfers to and from the hotel, it took a huge load off our minds and was so helpful. Our room (we stayed in rm 206) was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom (especially the shower) was surprisingly large and the hotel overall is in fantastic condition. Mr. Ali and his team put so much love and care into renovating and building out this hotel, and it shows. There won't be extensive lotions, skincare, or other toiletries/amentities in the bathroom other than shampoo and shower gel - but that is to be expected given the price. Also, the hotel's Turkish breakfast is incredible! Bram hotel = extraordinary value for the money, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much again Mr. Ali!

Having travel around the world and stayed in hotels on six different continents--from luxury to boutique--I find Bram Hotel to be at the very top tier of my most enjoyable hotel stays for a couple of reasons. 1) The attentiveness, care, and service are unequal. The owners are welcoming, helpful, and kind. They go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. The personal touch is just splendid. I was given a wonderful quick overview of the city and the surrounding area attractions upon arrival. The hotel is well kept and immaculately clean. 2) The hotel is steps away from dining, many major sites including the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, and many other amazing sights things.

If you like courteous and personable customer service, you'll love this place and fall in love with Istanbul as a plus.

I thought the ratings for this hotel were suspiciously high & too good to be true. They were not. Bram Hotel was great, and I’d love to stay there again sometime. The hosts were so friendly and helpful (and one or the other of them were always available on the ground floor!), breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, and somehow they managed to clean our room in the short time in which we went downstairs for breakfast each day. The soundproof windows did a great job, and the neighborhood was great - lots of restaurants nearby, but quieter than the busiest tourist areas.

The owners are amazing! They where in contact prior to our arrival. Arranged airport pick up and drop off. The brothers are very special, they treated us like family. Every aspect of my recent stay at the Bram Hotel was great.

Staff, especially owner/manager Ali incredible helpful and friendly. As soon as I booked on Travelocity, I got a message from him confirming and offering to answer any questions about Istanbul and transfers from airport. He spent some time each morning giving me sight suggestions and info on how to best reach them.

Bram hotel is impeccably clean throughout, from very nice lobby and cafe are to rooms. My room was modern, updated, and quiet. Cafe was open for breakfast (nice one included with my Travelocity booking) and for tea and snacks at other times. Rooftop lounge area with great panoramic views of Istanbul.

Bram is within easy walking distance of Sultanamet Square, Hippodrome area, and Blue Mosque, with Haghia Sophia and Topkapi a bit further off but very walkable.

Highly recommended.

My stay at the Bram Hotel was excellent in every respect, from the time I booked it and Ali (the owner/manager) contacted me via WhatsApp to see if I had any questions or needed transportation from the airport.

This personal care was evident in all aspects of my stay. Ali and his family gave me travel advice and directions, as well as all sorts of useful advice invaluable to a traveler in a new city.

Bram Hotel itself was impeccably clean in all respects, including my room, common areas and the (very very nice) cafe and breakfast area. My room was very well-appointed and had new, modern fixtures and bathroom. Great rooftop area too with panoramic view of Istanbul.

Hotel was very conveniently located, within easy walking distance of many major sights in Sultanamet, including Blue Mosque, Hippodrome Square, and Haghia Sophia.

I'd highly recommend Bram hotel for someone wanting an excellent, safe, and pleasant small hotel, with an owner and staff who are truly outstanding and very very nice, friendly, welcoming people.

Briefly: Being at Bram Hotel was like being at home not in a hotel. The owners - the two brothers - give the place a very personal touch, make you feel truly welcome, provide any advice you need and help to make arrangements with future travel. We needed to leave super early, at 4 am, and one of the brothers got up to make us a cup of coffee and make sure all was OK.

When I first booked this property I was not too sure because our previous experience with other hotels. As soon we got there I was definitely sure that next time I visit Istanbul my go to spot will be Bram Hotel. The management is wonderful. The room and the bathroom were fully furnished as well as very spacious and clean. Our stay included breakfast which was our favourite. Loved the breakfast even if your stay doesn’t include breakfast make sure to dine in there for the breakfast🔥. Loved the hospitality and kindness. There’s a beautiful rooftop where you can catch a beautiful sunset or sunrise. The checkin and checkout process was easy and smooth. We were gonna spend only 1 night then ended up extending it for another. We checked out at an odd time so Ali one of the owner made sure we were safe and held on to our bags for us until we figured out our flight situation which was super helpful and kind. We appreciate their kindness and hospitality. We felt like it at home honestly. Definitely recommend it.

Bram Hotel is a perfect place to stay while exploring Istanbul. Close to the action but far from the maddening crowd. From the check in through to the check out, the owners made sure that everything we needed , and more was available. The breakfast is delicious and a perfect start to a day of walking and exploring. The room was spotless, AC worked a charm - a perfect place to rest in peace and quiet after frenetic days around Istanbul. I’ll definitely stay again.

Fabulous hotel run by two brothers who want to make your stay in Istanbul the best it can be.
Wonderful welcome by Ali who provided us with a drink and talked us through the area and things to do. Gave us tour of the hotel and was always on hand for any questions.
The room was lovely and spacious, bathroom was modern with a fabulous shower. However, there was only a mirror in the bathroom, not ideal for two women sharing when the hairdryer is also in the bathroom.
The hotel has a rooftop area for sitting with drinks, drinks have to be purchased at the bar and taken up though and there are no lights up there at the moment.
Drinks in the hotel are expensive.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Istanbul.
Airport transfers were also arranged which were easy and co-ordinated by the hotel.

A Truly Delightful Stay in Istanbul

Words cannot fully capture how wonderful my stay was at this hotel. Prior to my arrival, I was contacted with the option to arrange airport transfer and to address any questions I had about my visit. The airport transfer process was seamless, with clear and straightforward directions provided for pick-up.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and offered coffee or tea, instantly feeling welcomed. The hotel is brand new and impeccably maintained, reflecting the staff's pride in providing a comfortable and inviting environment. They even assisted me in arranging a tour and offered great suggestions for self-guided tours of nearby attractions.

The hotel's location in Old Town is perfect, with easy access to attractions, shopping, and dining. The rooftop terrace is stunning, offering beautiful views at sunrise and sunset.

I will definitely return to Istanbul and stay here again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This a relatively new boutique hotel in a perfect location. It is a short walk to most of the main attractions. Rooms are modern and spacious and modern windows negate the city noises. The hotel has a roof terrace with spectacular views of the Sea of Marmara and sunrises are to die for. But perhaps the highlight of the hotel is the staff. The property is owned and managed hands on by 2 brothers and they will ensure you enjoy your stay in Istanbul and in particular your stay at their beautiful hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel.
It is tucked away, but only a 5 minute walk to Sultanahmet Square.
My room, (like the rest of the hotel), was very clean, and felt homely.
The roof terrace has fabulous views.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, something I looked forward to each morning!
Ali, (the owner), was so informative on things to do locally, and helpfully booked some things for me.
I would definitely stay here again!

The hosts showed an unparalleled level of hospitality, far beyond anything we could imagine. They made us feel comfortable and at home from the moment we arrived and took extra steps to ensure we enjoyed our stay throughout. The breakfast was excellent. We don't usually wake up early, but the thought of the breakfast ensured we did. During our stay we were ill and could walk much but the hotel has an excellent location, within a few minutes we were in the main square, also the view of the terrace is breathtaking. Highly recommended!
