There are several things that stood out from the hotel! Location is premium! The food was amazing! And the staff was extremely helpful and friendly! I was visiting with my sister, and she was a bit nervous for the trip, and as the hotel staff is one of the first people to interact after the flight, a good first impression is always good! Kudos!

The hotel in general has a tired feel. The room wasn’t great, but the bathroom must be revisited so that the toilet flush can be fixed. Although reported to reception and promised this issue would be fixed - it wasn’t. The water kept on running, often making it impossible to flush. To summarise, I can’t give this hotel a positive feedback unfortunately.

This hotel is amazing and is built over ancient ruins. The room was very clean and comfy. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to accommodate us. The location is perfect and you can walk everywhere to see the sights and there is a small bazaar just down the street for shopping.

We spent 5 nights and couldn't sleep 3 nights. The air conditioners were either turned off or broken, and we spent the night without being able to sleep. We had to open the windows. And to top off the beautiful evening, we were accompanied by mosquitoes, which kept us awake.

This property is conveniently around the corner from the Blue Mosque and lovely historical monuments but set back from the crowds. Inside the hotel is immaculately unkept and the staff goes beyond helpful. The upper terrace is lovely and can see the sea just a few blocks away.

Great Location

This hotel is in an extremely convenient location, especially for visiting the Blue Mosque, and the direct airport bus stop is also very close. The only disappointing aspect was that the air conditioning didn't work, which was a real shame. However, the nights were cool, so I had no trouble sleeping.

It has a restaurant and bar off the lobby and a rooftop terrace which has a very good buffet breakfast.
You can also get a cocktail from the bar and enjoy the view of the sea as well as other points of interest which is especially nice in the early evening as the sun sets.
Beds were on the soft side and rooms were difficult to cool in hotter than average weather.

It is a relatively quite nice hotel compared to most hotels in much of that part of the world. Air conditioning does not match up to that you would find in the United States. Also, there are less safety measures such as handrails, stair heights, elevator quality, etc.
It is in a great location in walking distance to all the major attractions in Istanbul.

The hotel is excellently located in the Sultanahmet district. All the tourist sites are literally within walking distance. The staff caters to your every need and is truly remarkable.
We stayed there for two weeks and had two rooms. Everything worked well in the rooms including shower, toilet and AC. The only thing that stood out to me during my stay was the amount of dust underneath the furniture. However, this would have been addressed if I had brought it to the attention of the staff. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay there a great deal and did not regret this decision and will stay there if we visit Istanbul again.

We were advised that we would have a double bed but were given two singles pushed together .
Only one bed side table which was solved by using a coffee table as a 2nd bed side table
The bins were not always emptied and we had to self supply toilet paper and bathroom mats which were not always replaced
We had a leaking kettle which was quickly replaced
Breakfasts were good
Reception staff / Barman generally helpful
The hotel was within walking distance of most of the important attractions

Hotel did not have AC working and was uncomfortably hot. I had to request a fan and it took several phone calls and over 5 hours to get us a portable fan for the room.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and very transparent about costs for items including airport transfer and the differences between paying by card or cash. The location is excellent both for its proximity to the main square and also for being relatively quiet at night. We were there in the off-season and appreciated that they upgraded our friends to a suite and also gave us a nice room with no price difference. We didn't eat at the hotel, only because the area had so many dining options nearby. The only negative we experienced was a very slow draining sink (which the staff attempted to fix, but only partially successful) and an overheated room which was not controlled by the thermostat in the room. We had no complaints about the heating, as we were able to open a window when required. Would stay there again.

Fabulous stay at the Eresin hotel. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Bilal. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of all the big attractions. The hotel offers a great range of trips which they will arrange transport to and from. After an initial problem with our airport transfer, the hotel upgraded us to a beautiful suite. This really made our stay.

Loved the quiet neighborhood feel, the exellent, attentive, and accessible staff, the rooftop was pretty and a nice place to read, but dining options were not available there. The breakfast is great, wiith lots of variety. The setting is spectacular, as is the lobby decor, as the hotel was built on archeological excavation site with many pieces incorporated. Loved the sound of the boats on the Marmara Sea. Sultanahment location is fabulous for seeing important sites of the Old City. Staff really made this a wonderful stay and took care of our every need.

The rooms are spacious, well-lit and clean. Everything is at one’s disposal. TV has international channels. Beautiful street view! Roof top is amazing, with the view of the Bosphorus, very cozy with potted plants along the perimeter. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

Excellent hotel with unique design. Close to everything in Sultanahmet. My room was huge for this area comparing to another hotels around, super clean with wood flooring, what is very unusual for hotels. Bathroom with jacuzzi tub, that actually was my main reason why I choose this hotel ( very hard to find rooms with bathtubs in this area). It was sooo nice to take a bath after long day walks. Staff is very polite, professional, super kind and friendly. Breakfast was sufficient enough to start a day. Will definitely stay again here in my future trips to beautiful Istanbul. Love Turkey!!!

unbelievably close to Sultanehmat Square and all the attractions! We were able to walk to Restaurants, to the monuments, to the metro station, you name it…even came back to rest in the afternoon. Staff was the best, most helpful and efficient I'd ever met. Room was clean, and well appointed. A bit on the small size which we did not mind since we were not spending a lot of time there. Mattress on the roll away bed could have been a lot better...this one made me wake up as achy as I'd slept.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. They helped us ship our treasures back home. The location is great, you are within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market. Take a private tour and you'll get to see areas of Istanbul off the beaten track. You can book it through the hotel. It's well worth the money. My wife and I visited during the Ramadan holiday. If you can do it, do it, we felt welcome and very comfortable. All the cafes and shops were open. The people we met were happy we visited their country. Safety was a non issue my wife and I felt very comfortable walking around during the day and at night. Don't believe everything you are told about Istanbul in the news. Not true!!! Visit and you won't be disappointed.

Other than the wonderful, helping, and friendly staff, I find the hotel's location very appropriate. It is in the center of everything you might have to see and do in Sultanahmet area. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast is delicious, and the internet service is very fast and reliable. I would only recommend that they add some TV channels other than Turkish channels. Great views of the sea and Blue Mosque from the roof top terrace. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The heat is not turned on until Nov 1 so the room was a little chilly at night at the end of October. The room was well worn.

Arriving in the old heart of the town into a lobby surrounded by antiquities beautifully implemented in the luxurious feeling of the hotel, makes this my only and best choice for a hotel of 5 stars in Istanbul at the price of a real bargain.

The Eresin Crown Hotel is First Class!

I recently stayed at the Eresin Crown Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey, and I must say it was one of the best hotel experiences I have had to date. The staff was absolutely amazing! And the rooms were spacious and well kept. The roof top terrace was beautiful, and the breakfast buffet on the roof top was delicious! The hotel is centrally located to all the major attractions, which are within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to get the best out of their trip to Istanbul.

Nice Hotel for Business or Pleasure.

I stayed 4 nights at the Erisin Crown Hotel. The room was quite small but comfortable and very clean and the bathroom was a decent size with all toiletries etc thrown in. Breakfasts were plentiful and better than most i have had in Istanbul. Good fruit, bread & cold meat selection and also a hot platter that was fine. Attentive staff were also very good. Evening meals were well priced and without being fancy were more than ok all served on a great open roof terrace.

I would not hesitate to go back to this hotel.
