During our stay the whole 6 nights, there was no tea and coffee top up. The shower head was severely broken and need to be replaced as water was wasted during showering.
The coffee from the coffee machine for breakfast was exceptionally good.

Good choice for short stay

The main reason we chose the hotel was the rooftop terrace. Unfortunately it was closed. It seemed out of use for a long time. The room window faced to a firewall, so if u go economy, don't expect a view. However, the location was great, very close to all the sites. The staff was also nice and informative.

Free parking at the property, only if you leave the keys at the reception and the staff can move your car around. I ask before arriving at the property about parking but they didn’t say anything about keys at the reception. Not very nice and safe for personal cars. I find by myself a place across the road and I refuse to left the keys at the reception.

Great valve for money as you spend only a short while in the room

5 mins Minutes walk from blue mosque and Aya Sofia just another few minutes away walking
basilca cistern and Tookapi palace were also within walking distance

Breakfast due to corona was individually prepared instead of Buffet

It was good

AC wasn’t the best but it got better over the 4 day stay as the outdoor temp Cooled a little and the AC was kept on continuously even while we were out.

It was a very hot time of the year to be fair and they did say they would sort of needed.

Lovely little hotel in the old city, literally 5 mins walk from Sultanahmet Mosque, another 5 to Aya Sofia and Topkapi Palace, perfect location. Surrounded by small shops, cafe's and restaurants. Staff excellent, friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, no complaints at all. Food was nice, good range of choice for breakfast, would highly recommend.

Position of this hotel is excellent, it has good friendly staff and good choice at breakfast.
It is a little noisy if you have a room on the front street and you have slam the doors to close them which means you here everyone’s movements.

During my summer visit to Istanbul I checked in here and arrived around 11 o’clock last night. After 36 hours of travel I was exhausted and asked for help ordering pizza. Good night reception is help me do it, but then use my phone number that I put down at reception at check-in to text me letting me know the pizza is on its way, and then once you deliver the pizza he texted me to wish me a good meal. By this time it was 1 AM. So I’m eating my pizza, feeling uncomfortable, and then I get an Instagram request from him as well.

As a single woman, traveling alone, I am wildly uncomfortable with the fact that a male night receptionist contacted me on multiple forms of media by using my phone number from my check in forms. How wildly inappropriate and a horrible use of power. I moved my furniture up against the door to ensure I was extra protected in the night.

Selling itself as a luxury boutique hotel, when in fact it is just basic. Cleanliness is very poor. Dust on the phone in bathroom looks like it has never been cleaned. A bottle of wine in the room actually had mold on it. With regards to the facilities, the garden was closed and the roof terrace restaurant was also not open. As these were two of the selling points along with it being apparently luxury, I am very disappointed.

Very good option in Sultanahmet

Lots of choice in the area but this is a good one. Helpful and friendly staff...would especially like to acknowledge Muzaffer ....he has excellent customer service and runs a very good breakfast room. Area is good for walking to points of interest and there are many dinner options too. 5-7 minute walk to airport bus.

Me and my family have just come back from Istanbul today.
The location of the hotel is absolutely great, all the main attractions are literally around the corner, meaning less than a 10 min walk.The staff were very helpful but a lack of understanding in just basic English language.
They catered for our suhr, which is the early breakfast before starting our fast as it was Ramadan.
I went with my elderly dad and, my 2 girls and sister with her 2 children, so we had booked a family suite and a junior suite.
When I booked my trip I rang the hotel and explained that i will be travelling with my elderly dad.
Who ever i had spoken to, assured me that everything would be good.
Upon our arrival we were taken to our rooms which were on the second floor of the hotel, no lift and the stairs are spiral.
They said there were no rooms available on the ground floor.
I had booked my trip 3-4 weeks before our travel, so how is it that it wasnt arranged to our needs upon request.
I had started to look for other hotels, air bnb for my dads comfort, but luckily, next morning a room became available on the ground floor and my dad with my sister shifted down to the family suite.
I wouldnt recommend this hotel for families with young children and elderly people only because of the way the level of the floors and stairs are, though the rooms are very comfortable and good size for a family. The beds were done every day, and the towels were changed every day too.
The roof top dining wasnt open.

The property was fairly clean in itself but the tea cups in the room had tea stains as if they wasn’t washed properly but rather just rinsed with plain water.
The only reason i stayed at this hotel was because i stayed here before and the experience was very pleasent, although this time it was very dissapointing, the staff didn’t seem very welcoming on day to day basis. Had to ask the receptionist twice to come and help us with the heating as the room was freezing cold. (Which they should’ve explained on our arrival).
My phone got snatched right outside the hotel, i ran after the man and got my phone back. I was furious as the hotel manager was standing right outside the hotel and didn’t even budge let alone asking me if i was okay. As a hotel staff they should always go to the next level to provide the best possible experience for their guests as they represent their country and tourism not just the hotel. And sorry to say they was lacking in a lot of areas. Last time the management was different so was the experience.
I called 2 days before my holiday to request 2 twins beds instead of a double bed but got told there is no reservation under my name and they asked me to call the next day. I was very worried, it was my first time on a holiday with my friend and didn’t want to face any problem. So i called up the next day after explaining and providing the same details again they somehow found the reservation, how UNPROFESSIONAL!

The Hotel is well placed for easy contact to old Istanbul. It has been refurbished since we stayed there in July 2015.
Staff were helpful and pleasent.
It does not have lift facilities so if you are not fit or have a disablility try to get a room on the first floor.

Arrived fairly late in the evening via airport transfer. Receptionist on duty had our booking to hand and took us straight to our room. Once in the room we were quickly shown the facilities and left to our own devices. We decided to go for a walk around the local area and asked the receptionist where was good to go in the imeadiate vicinity at that time of the evening. The receptionist treated us to a quick guide of where to go for taxis, travel money, bus links and even pointed out a couple of good restaurants. All this was drawn onto a map handed to us at reception.

This is a nice hotel and close to main attractions. The staff are friendly and pleasant and cater to needs well. Breakfast is decent but they tended to run out of things and not stock up on some days. Also there is no lift and we were on the 4th floor so had to walk up 3 flights a few times a day.
The view from the roof is beautiful. Ok for the price as we were looking for a cheap getaway.

One of our favorite parts was actually the rooftop deck that surprisingly seemed under utilized but had both a view of the bosphorus and the Blue Mosque. The room was just right, breakfast was great and it is located within walking distance from all the major places to visit.

Nice hotel in an excellent location

Hotel is situated right in the centre of the old city within walking distance of all the major attractions. The hotel staff were so friendly especially Malik and Omar who gave great advice of what to see and what to avoid. We travelled with our 16 month old and the hotel was very family friendly. The breakfast was a bit of a let down as there wasn’t a lot of choice if you wanted a healthy breakfast, not even one piece of fruit available which was a shame. However, overall if was a lovely stay and the rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Thank you Sarnic hotel.

Close to hippodrome and the Blue mosque

The hotel is convenient and cheap at my time of booking (Oct 2017) this is during the off-peak season and the tourist area of Istanbul are less busy. The hotel was adequate, the breakfast is basic but enough food there, nothing to write home about but its sustenance. The staff are very good and can speak English well also which is a plus. The economical rooms are not huge it would be difficult to swing a cat around but this is an old Ottoman palace converted into a hotel. In a nutshell if you like cosy, quirky hotels then stay here if you like your hotels on a larger scale then look elsewhere. This does not discredit the staff in anyway, they do their job when asked, they are helpful in pointing you to the main areas in Istanbul and provide directions, the cleaners always cleaned the room no issues and towels changed daily. If the breakfast had more diversity to it the hotel would be on my list to go back to but I think I will stay elsewhere next time.

Our room was overlooking the street which was incredibly noisy throughout the night with traffic, dogs barking, people shouting. This is an old building so there are no balconies. One real bug bear for us was the fact that the shower did not have a window. Breakfast was dissappointing. The location is superb though. You get what you pay for.

Wonderful hotel, location couldn't be more perfect

Everything about our ten-day stay at this hotel was so lovely! Starting from the complementary pick-up from the airport (which was such a relief and comfort, and the driver - even though his English was pretty basic - was so warm and kind and helpful) to our check-in, the staff were all so polite and helpful at every step. It's easy for us, as tourists from Canada, to feel silly or ignorant but the local culture or history or food scene or how even just how to get about town - the concierge and staff made us feel at ease and even anticipated what we were trying to ask for or might like, on occasions. They offered options about which tours to take, which sights to visit (and in which order!), local restaurants to try, as well as fun commentary about local history and politics. I also loved that they would mail out postcards that we might want to send to family and friends. My father wanted to experience the local trains, so they gave detailed instructions on how to do this and which routes to take. They also advised us on what the going taxi rates were, so we wouldn't be taken advantage of.

They were accommodating about their breakfast hours, and even with my elderly father - they were patient when explaining things (sometimes repeatedly) and that is something I appreciated very much. The hotel itself was clean (very important!) - no trace of mold or rot or moisture in unwanted places - and solidly built. The decor and ambiance of the dining hall was pretty nice, as well.

Nice room, comfortable bed, good location. Breakfast disappointing well below what is offered at hotels of similar or less rating. Quality and variety of food was not very good. Hotel staff need to be more friendly and more professional. You are lucky if you can get a smile or greeting as you walk up and down stairs. The person in charge of the kitchen is quite abrupt with the young waiter being the most friendly. Urgent change of attitude of staff required.

We stayed at this hotel for four days in mid November 2016 for our anniversary. It is a very nice, clean hotel that offers good quality breakfast. The staff was very helpful and helped us in all our transit and answered our questions. The room are not big nor small they're decent size and clean. I would recommend it as it is only 5 minutes away from Sultanahmet, and around 8 minutes walk from the tram.

I would like to thank Tarik the manager of Sarnic hotel for the warm accommodation provided to us. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and it was one of the most comfortable times. I really appreciated the warmth and hospitality that I might not have expected from a hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the beautiful accommodations give hotels a great name. Breakfast was plentiful and it is included in room rate at an affordable cost. Staff speaks English which was useful. Rooms were spacious, clean and very tastefully decorated. Also suggested good places to visit in the city and Tarik arranged all our tour itineraries for each day to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Turkey. A nice clean place to come back to at the end of a long day.

The Sarnic is in a fantastic position within easy stroll of all the main sights of Sultanahmet and the tram link. No lift - so unsuitable for those who find stairs difficult and rooms can be a bit noisy. However, they are clean the breakfast is excellent and the food also good - eat for dinner once and perfectly cooked fish. Staff helpful with advice where wanted and happy to leave you to it when not. Recommended.

Nice hotel close to Blue Mosque

Hotel staff from the shift managers to the room boys, and waiters were very friendly. They did their best to make your stay really worth it. The breakfast was very healthy and delicious. Our shuttle pick-up from the airport to the hotel was booked late but they still accomodated my request and arrived on-time at the airport for our arrival. I will highly lrecommed this hotel to all my friends and co-workers.

A really nice small hotel in the very old part of Istanbul. Easy walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Sophia and Topkapi. A brisk walk to the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. Nice typical Turkish breakfast included. Very helpful staff. A mature single lady in our party went out walking alone for two hours and was perfectly safe. It was her first time in Istanbul - she can not wait to go back!

Great location, some caveats

We reached the hotel late at night but there was someone to help us check-in. This is a small hotel, walking distance from the Blue Mosque. The hotel does not have an elevator and has stairs leading to the front entrance. If you have lots of luggage this may be a problem. I asked the hotel staff to help and they did. The rooms were small and ours was on the top floor. So, we preferred that the hotel staff keep some of our luggage (that we did not need downstairs) in a holding area. The hotel staff may try to sell you taxi services for the airport and tourist tours, but these are more expensive than you can get yourself. The prices are negotiable and I was able to negotiate for a taxi back to the airport for about 55 or 60 euros (Feb 2015). The Bosphorus cruise is best booked at the Bosphorus. you may even be able to get one for 10 euros per person for a short cruise or 15-20 euros for the normal cruise. The longer 6 hour cruise is definitely not worth taking.

Palvelu oli hyvää kun joku palveli, mutta kännykät kiinnostivat henkilökuntaa melkoisesti. Huone oli tunkkainen, onneksi ulkona oli raikasta, joten saatiin tuuletettua. Illallinen oli lautasannos, jossa riisiä, ranskalaisia ja pieni määrä kanaa.

Noi siamo stati 3 notti. Per carità, di essere c’è tutto: letto, scrivania, comodino, doccia, etc. Ma non ci hanno dato il kit di cortesia, quando siamo arrivati non c’era la carta igienica e l’abbiamo dovuta chiedere noi, la cassaforte non ha mai funzionato e non hanno mai risolto il problema. La stanza era al 4 piano senza ascensore. Colazione sinceramente terribile, a meno che non mangiate solo salato e speziato. Noi abbiamo mangiato pane e “nutella” o marmellata per 3 giorni di fila, non avevano neanche il latte vegetale (assurdo) o lo yogurt. Non c’erano torte, nemmeno le ciambelle tipiche turche, solo ed esclusivamente salato. C’era però la macchinetta del caffè. Tralasciando la colazione, diciamo che la struttura è vecchiotta, per il prezzo pagato la qualità non era soddisfacente. Le sedie in tessuto erano macchiate, così come i cuscini in tessuto… insomma. Letto comodo però. Io sicuramente non ci tornerò.

Wir waren für einen kleinen trip in Istanbul. Das Hotel sieht von außen gut aus. Die Rezeption ist auch ganz nett. Uns wurden die Koffer ins Zimmer getragen. Einen Aufzug gibt es leider nicht. Das Zimmer war sehr klein. Leider war es nicht sauber und sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Das Badezimmer war schrecklich. Es hat so schlimm nach Abfluss gestunken, dass der Geruch auch ins Zimmer kam. Lüften hat sich nicht viel gebracht, da unsere Aussicht aus dem Fenster eine Wand war. Das Fenster ist in einen kleinen Lichthof ausgerichtet

Tam bir fiyat performans oteli gayet standartlarda en üst kat manzarasi güzel denizi görüyor. Lokasyon olarak yeri heryere yakin . Resepsiyon da bulunan beyefendi çok nazik . Sabah kahvaltisi gayet yeterli. Çarşafları havluları temizdi. Birdaha gidebileceğimiz bir işletme.

Petit hôtel sans prétention mais pratique et sympa

Hotel simple mais très bien situé. On est tout près du centre historique mais un quartier calme et agréable (à part quand un bus bloque régulièrement la rue et là c'est concert de klaxon). Petite terrasse ouverte l'après-midi. Petit-déjeuner correct sans plus. Accueil sympathique et professionnel. Tout le monde parle bien anglais. Le spa/hammam dont on parle sur le site ne fait pas partie de l'hôtel.

満足なステイになりました！

フロントのスタッフさんはとても親切でした！
部屋も綺麗で、とても快適に過ごすことができ満足です。ロケーションも、ブルーモスクまで徒歩10分以内もとても良く、便利でした。
ですが、トイレの上の換気扇から水漏れがあり、それが改善されずステイ中ずっと漏れていたので、そこだけは直すか、直らなかった場合部屋を移動させて欲しかったです、、、
満室などの場合もあるので仕方なかったのかなと思いますが、この点があったのでその分だけ評価下げてます。
他はとてもよかったです！

No está mal, pero no es la mejor opción.

La zona del hotel está bien. Muy cerca de la mezquita azul y otros atractivos turísticos. La atención fue buena, pero el estado del hotel no era el mejor. El baño despedía cierto olor, las luces se activan con tarjeta y tenia un pequeño circuito que encendía y apagaba las luces. Las baterías del sistema de la puerta estaban expuestas. El desayuno un poco flojo. Si tengo que decir que la cama estaba bien. Dormí fabulosamente.

The hotel is in a very good location with very prossionel and sweet staff.

Не все золото, что блестит!

Идеальная чистота. Местоположение отеля отличное. Все в пешей доступности. Рядом трамвай, на чем можно очень спокойно и удобно заехать во все уголки Стамбула. Персонал очень вежливый и гостеприимный. Но не все соответствует тому, что в объявлении! Завтрак можно оценить по 10 бальной системе на 6 баллов. Все платное, даже трансфер! Это должны учесть все туристы приезжающие в этот отель! В номерах неполадки: петля в дверях бара сломано, окна в номерах не все открываются (держатели сломаны), открыть двери в номер не всегда удается, очень часто заедает. О недостатках неоднократно было сказано, но меры не были предприняты!

Das Zimmer war nicht geputzt, es reichte nach Chlor überall, komische Flecken in der Bettwäsche.
Nichts in der Minibar. Fragen sie an der Rezeption nach einem Taxi, sind diese Taxifahrer 4x so teuer wie sonst!!!
Das Frühstück war sehr schlecht keine Auswahl, Brot trocken.
TV läuft nur auf türkischen Sendern.
Das einzige gute: das WLAN hat funktioniert

あまりお勧めはできない

レセプションで出会ったスタッフのうち2人は良かったが、一人は最低の態度。イスタンブールには同じような場所に同じようなホテルが数えきれないほどあるので、わざわざこのホテルを選ぶ理由は見つからない。実際、この後に他のホテルに泊まったが、値段はここより安いのに、スタッフも眺望も最高で、雲泥の差だった。
