Had a couple of issues:
1. There was only one towel in the room for two adults and a child.
2. Had issues with trying to lock the door when we went out, so door was left unlocked and quite fortunate that nothing happened to our room whilst we were out.
3. Trying to leave a message on voicemail proved to be a frustration!
4. cold Water pressure was very low, both in the shower and kitchen.

**Otherwise everything else was excellent! I would definitely recommend the property but would advise guests of these issues I had.

This hotel was in a great location. It is literally at the base of Lookout Mountain below Ruby Falls & Rock City. It’s a short drive to the aquarium & zoo. It is close to a busy road, but it wasn’t an issue for my family. There was a small problem with one of our beds and it was fixed in a timely manner. Communication from the hotel was 10/10. Overall it was a great stay and was very affordable.

The parking was very convenient. We got to park right in front of our unit. The interior was decorated very nicel. We really love the Retro looking mini fridge and microwave. There was a keurig coffee maker and creamer in the refrigerator.

The room was cute and clean, had a fridge, microwave and Keurig which was great. No front desk which I didn’t realize and was a bit disorienting, but Ian who I got ahold of on the phone was nice. The location was good except it is right next to a road and it was very loud. If you’re a light sleeper I would opt elsewhere.

We only stayed one evening as the bed was broken, soap dispenser was broken, toilet paper holder was broken and freezer in fridge was filled with ice and not able to be used until defrosted. Contacted property and they offered to move us to a new room. Checked new room and bed was also broken in there. Advised them it is not safe to stay on their property and they offered us our original room back which made us leave and not come back. They did not offer a refund of any kind, only to move to another property they owned. Because our safety and security is our most important asset, we felt we could no longer safely stay on their property. We lost out on three days in Chattanooga because of the poor conditions. Also, Rooms are way to close to highway so all you hear all night is vehicle noise. Pictures and descriptions are very misleading.

This hotel is very nice and seemed newly renovated. The room we stayed in was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I do think the shower was a little small but it served our purpose. Overall this was a quaint property that I would definitely stay in again. I really liked the vintage mini fridge and microwave that added to the decor. There is a covered area behind the property with some tables and a fire pit area. The location was perfect too on Lookout Mountain. We were less than 5 minutes from Ruby Falls and less than 15 minutes from Rock City and downtown Chattanooga. Highly Recommend if you're looking for something simple and affordable.

Road side boutique hotel, just outside Raccoon Mountain. We had a family wedding at The Venue and it was perfect! The back yard is perfect for small get togethers and camp fire. Parking isn’t ideal and If you are looking for a quiet escape, this probably isn’t your location since it’s right off a busy highway and you can hear all noise from adjacent rooms. But it was clean and comfortable and very spacious. We will definitely go back.

The property was clean and in a very convenient location. The pictures don’t really convey how tiny the room and shower is but that’s not a huge deal.
My most pressing concern was the lack of response from the customer service number or from the message service. Our TV didn’t work, the code to the “game boxes” was incorrect, the fire pit was out of gas so it didn’t work, and the freezer was completely frozen up. I called numerous times and left messages as well as leaving messages on the app. No response. Ever. They were VERY prompt at responding when they needed a copy of my ID so I know someone is receiving the messages; they just chose not to reply.
Because of this, I would never stay here again.

We stayed in room 3. My biggest complaint is the mattress. It needs to be replaced. I'm fairly sure I sank down a good 6 inches into it when I laid down.

This is a cute place. It is close to the highway so yes your going to hear traffic but of a night it is for the most part peaceful. Super close to Lookout mountains amenities. Also go into town lookout valley the pizza place and mexican place is amazing. It was super clean and I love the air b&b vibe!

The room is small and the shower is tiny, but all in all it was a good stay. The area is perfectly placed for the things in the area. We loved exploring Chattanooga and surrounding areas!

I found The Lodge while searching for a hotel room to stay in for my daughter’s volleyball tournament in Chattanooga. I had to be very precise with location because I didn’t want to be too far from where the tournaments were being held. The location was perfect. On either side of the mountain, there were stores if we needed anything, and we were very close to the convention center downtown.
The price was extremely affordable, and everything that came with the room made it well worth it. I’m an avid review reader, so I always read reviews before booking. I can honestly say our room was very clean, we had plenty of towels, and there was lots of space. The air conditioning worked great (which can be hit or miss at hotels, so I was a little concerned). Y’all—the beds were incredible. It felt like sleeping on a cloud, and you couldn’t feel the person next to you move. It was the best sleep I’d had in a while.
The microwave and refrigerator both worked great, and I also loved having the sink just in case we needed it. We did have an issue with the bathroom door being broken and not shutting all the way. While that wasn’t ideal, we let them know as soon as we noticed, and their response was very quick.
One small thing to note: the trash cans provided in the kitchenette and bathroom are quite small. Bathroom trash cans are typically small, so that wasn’t an issue, but I would recommend a larger trash can for the kitchenette area.

Parking was good. The room is very close the highway but that was advertised fairly on the website. Everything in the room was clean and worked properly. If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay that is well taken care of I can’t recommend here enough. It’s perfect for a weekend trip exploring lookout mountain and close enough to Chattanooga to get some good food in between.

This place is a hidden gem, you are no more than 2-6 minutes from all attractions and downtown!!! The room was cozy and immaculate! It was well-priced and very clean. We will be using them again later this spring.

It's a really nice place. The room was clean and the amenities are great. The location is convenient but very close to the road so there is noise. It's quite risky leaving the parking lot because of the speed of the cars coming around the curve. This can be a matter of concern for some people. We were overall pleased.

Im going to give 3 stars because the company refunded us for the night we didnt use. My hasband and I travel a dozen or more times a year and have never left a destination early until this stay... the heater in the room sounded like a lawmover or motorcycle everytime it started up and remained that loud until it shut off. Since we got in so late on Thanksgiving we waited until morning and messaged them with a video of the issue, they asked if we had heat, and said they would check it out. We left for the day and there was no reaponse after that. My husband called later that night said we would be checking out in the morning and requested a refund for the unused day, which they refunded us, which we thought was fair.

With that being said one positive, the location. It feels out of town yet an easy drive to major attractions like ruby falls, lookout mtn, and down town. Plus there was free parking at the lodge.

Wish i could give a better review, but this is accurate as to how our visit went.

Room was hard to find just because it was dark and the sign for the lodge was small. The beds were extremely comfortable and the space was comprobable to a nice hotel room if not bigger. The floors were semi dirty but nothing extremely gross. The shower was really nice, wish it had darker curtains. Street lamps shone in in the middle of night. Tv worked great. We enjoyed our stay. It was clean with comfortable mattress, the sink in the kitchenette was very useful. The mini fridge was cold but heavily frosted. It'd give us more room if it was defrosted. It's conveniently located near all the attractions but extremely close to the highway. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. The staff was very responsive. We would come back again.

The rooms have been very comfortable and spotless both times, the staff checks in via text to see if I need anything. The location is great - easily accessible to anything you can think of doing. It’s right in a main road, very noisy along with the dogs in the next room. We did not have heat, 43 degrees at night. Had to go buy a heated blanket for $125. Staff could care less. Said they would have maintenance check it when we left?? Tried heat again 2nd night and it was smoking and set off smoke detector. Sent a message and not returned until we were leaving. Unplugged it hoping to stop a fire issue.

Parking was great, even with our trailer on back, there was still plenty of room for us.

The only problem was customer service. There wasn't any. The whole check-in was done remote and they gave a code to get in. Well.... I had trouble logging in to the wifi and there was no one to ask. I had to call the help line and that took forever and then they didn't know how to help me, so I wasted my time trying to get them to help. LUCKILY the neighbor was leaving his room, so we were able to ask HIM for help.

the room was small it felt claustrophobic , it was clean and the bed was nice , it had a nice bathroom , but the water pressure in the shower was not good , the room had a very damp musky / mold smell to it which was causing my wife to have breathing difficulties and therefore we had to cut our losses and only stay 1 night instead of 2. the lodge is right of a main road so it was pretty noisy with traffic going by throughout the night and morning.

Super convenient, cute property, more private than a typical hotel, loved the option of the outdoor are and grill. My only complaint would be that it wasn't super clean, the floor under the couch was a mess, the floor was not very clean in general, there was someone's laptop and dirty socks left behind, the mirror in the bathroom was dirty, the table and chairs still had crumbs but aside from that we would absolutely stay again.

There is about a 2" gap in the top part of the door. You could hear everything that was outside. The pictures are not accurate as to what the room truly looked like. There were several bugs on the floor and the door did not lock well. We did not end up staying here.

The rooms were very cleam and updated. We were concerned about close proximity to the road however it did not present a noise issue. Would recommend better blackout blinds for front windows facing parking area. One night a car parked with its lights shinning in the window for about 30minutes. The rooms were very clean and updated. The exterior is dated and does not represent the interior. I was concerned when I went to my door but was pleasantly surprised when I entered my room. My door code did not work but that was quickly resolved by text after hours. The entrance is on a dangerous curve. There is a gas fire pit and covered picnic tables in the rear which are maintained well. It is conveniently located to the major attractions and downtown. I would stay there again!

What a great little no hassle/having to deal with the front desk experience. The place was clean, well equipped, maintained and comfortable. The team was extremely responsive and friendly. Overall I was worried about other reviews and the noise from the road but it wasn’t an issues as it quiets down. It is fun to see the Harley guys roll on past on their awesome bikes.

The property does have that murdered in the mountains vibe at the road side motel…but that’s what I was going for in booking my stay. Overall excellent place to stay while passing through. Always love to find new spots in Chattanooga on my way to visit family.

I would recommend this to anyone that doesn’t have a stick up their ass.

The Lodge was grea. Close to all the attractions we were looking for. Could have used some instructions for the firepit but my husband figured it out. The room was clean and the management keptin touch with us everyday to see if everything was going well. They also made sure we were aware of all codes needed for checkin and what was needed for check out.
