Convenient location close to the centre of Varna

The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the centre of Varna and Sea Gardens. Many local buses leave from the front of the hotel (e.g. 148 to bus station). The rooms are spacious with a view of a park. The negative of the hotel is the lack of breakfast facilities; there are no restaurants in the vicinity that serve breakfast. However, there is a supermarket in the same building.

Our previous stays have been fine.
The room (404) was on the tired side but comfortable. Some of the bathroom fixings were loose. Hotel staff were very good and reception spoke English (for those that struggle with the Bulgarian language). The breakfast was disappointing, when we asked for two cups of hot water to put our own t-bags in, we were refused and the manageress said “this is a restaurant!” We already had sugar and milk left from our breakfast drinks so it was just hot water! Not a three course meal we were after!
It is not a disabled access hotel, therefore not suitable for wheelchair/mobility scooter users .........
The hotel is ideally situated for bars, restaurants and shopping. The city centre is only a short walk away, about 5 minutes. There is also a park opposite, which at the weekend is pleasant to sit and people watch.

Ideal location.

Very freindly staff and ideal location for exploring varna. Comfortable rooms, clean and the only negative is the lack of a kettle in the room. Would recommend to anybody looking for a budget hotel.

Excellent stay in Varna

The hotel is very conveniently located in the city centre about 10 mins from the beach. 24 hour Happy Bar and Grill just outside the hotel and 24 hour supermarket next door. A few handy takeaways and other cafes nearby in the park opposite. The reception were efficient, friendly and helpful. The room itself was large and well fitted out with air conditioning which worked well and a 32\" flat panel TV.

The hotel is in a great location, very central and the Happy's restaurant downstairs had great food and still serving at 11pm when we arrived. The rooms was good and comfortable, not too outdated but did smell a little like cigarettes so we slept with the windows open. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Would stay again.

The hotel was ideally situated to reach most attractions and opposite a nice park. There’s a few eateries and restaurants around and a Bar n Grill right under the Hotel, very handy. Friendly staff, clean room, the window board needs updating but didn’t spoil our stay. It’s on a main Rd but if you close the window at night and use the air conditioning it’s fine. There’s various shops and a pharmacy/chemists within the area. All in all, we had a value for money short break. Would definitely stay again.

Cheap but that's it.

The slats on the beds were broken, and after booking a double bed, we got a twin bed set up. Not great for a couple's weekend away. The hotel looks like a spruced up, if not modernised, Communist style hotel. However it was an easy walk to the centre and a little further to central beach.It's also on the corner of a busy junction above a chain restaurant. So if you want peace and quiet, do not book this hotel.

Walking distance for beach, bars, restaurants etc

Staff were lovely and helpful, we got upgraded to a suite free of charge as they were short on rooms. The air con was a lifesaver in the Summer heat, and the room was spotless.

The beach is a 20 min walk and there are the main bars/restaurants on the beach front, or more a 10 min walk into the centre. There are also more great places to eat and drink a little off the beaten track locally such as Martini (fab sushi & cocktails) and Bira Ood (craft beer shop/bar).

Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was hard to find, impossible to park, tired and dated, the pillows were just full of lumps and you could feel every spring in the mattress, the bathroom was tired and there was a shower curtain hanging but it didn't help, everything got wet.This would not normally be a problem but I said I was having the operation and would not be able to see the next day so this would have been dangerous. I asked that we were given a ground floor room (because I was having an operation) and there weren't any but no-one bothered to tell me this. Parking as I said was horrendous and you could not pull up anywhere because of the traffic and a bus stop being directly outside the hotel. No I would not stay again and if parking is that horrendous in late October then I dread to think what the summer months would be. Spend a little more - you get what you pay for, lesson learned.

Value for money

+large and recently renovated rooms;
+central location, right next to the sea garden and children's amusement park
+restaurant and convenience store (Piccadilly) located in the same building
+friendly staff

-room didn't seem to be regularly and well cleaned, but can't say it was dirty either. We did find a cockroach in the bathroom once, so a better pest control should be applied.
-noisy main street with lots of traffic
-no hotel parking, however parking on the side streets is free and it's not hard to come upon an empty spot, even though it's the city center. Our stay was off-season, so it may be different in the summer.

Overall probably the best value for money for an off-season stay.

Overall a really good stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. Uses an adjoining restaurant for breakfast which served really good cheap food and drink. Decor slightly dated, but kept very clean. Location is its best point, a stones throw away from all the best bars and restaurants in town. The value for money you get for food and drink is exceptional in the city.

Central location

The hotel is located in the center. From the train station it is a 3 minute taxi drive (cost only < 5 BGL) away. The reception staff speaks english and german on a fair level. The hotel room is equipped with a mini bar, which is refilled every day. The grand park and the beach promenade is a 10 minutes walk away. The breakfast takes place in a restaurant right beside the hotel. To sum it up, I had a good stay.

Reasonably nice hotel in Varna, good value

The location was good, and the staff were very nice. The room was OK, good size, and the furnishings were in decent repair. The toilet ran constantly, and the staff didn't seem to have any idea how to fix it. The wifi was awful - almost impossible to connect. The hotel didn't actually have a restaurant, so the \"included breakfast\" was actually just vouchers we could use at an adjoining restaurant for some minimal offerings.

Im Zimmer war ein fürchterlicher Geruch nach einem künstlichen Spray. Ich bin Asthmatikerin und konnte daher fast die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen. Meine Beschwerde an der Rezeption hat ergeben dass ich kein anderes Zimmer bekommen kann obwohl das ganze Hotel leer war. In der Dusche gab es nur einen Duschvorhang und keine Kabine. Der Türstock im Bad war völlig vergammelt, am Fenster war der Vorhang heruntergerissen.

Interessant Ferie i Varna

Hotellet ligger centralt i Varna nær den berømte park som også har en dejlig strand og kun 10 minutters gang fra centrum. Bus 409 til/fra lufthavnen standser ikke så langt fra hotellet. Hotellet serverer ikke selv morgenmad men man kan købe en morgenmads- kupon for 3 euro som så kan bruges i HAPPY- restauranten hvor man også kan spise sin frokost og aftensmad. Der er mange andre muligheder for at købe mad og drikke i kvarteret. Selve værelserne er rummelige og har køleskab, TV og aircondition. Badeværelserne er pæne. Rengøringen er god og håndklæder skiftes dagligt. Sengene på mit værelse var dog ikke gode! Personalet er meget venligt. Kan du ikke lide Golden Sands og St. Constantine skulle du måske prøve at bo her!

Tolles Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis an zentraler Lage

Das Hotel liegt perfekt im Zentrum der Stadt, nahe aller Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die grossen Zimmer bieten einen schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Dank der Zusammenarbeit mit der Restaurantkette \"Happy\" bekommt man ein gutes Frühstück.

Hôtel désuet mais confortable idéalement situé

Super hôtel, simple, personnel accueillant et qui vous aide dans les réservations
Entretien de la chambre fait tous les jours même en après-midi si vous voulez dormir tard le matin
Hôtel situé à 500m du sea garden et 600 m de la plage
Proche de bus notamment le 409 qui part de l'aéroport et qui a son terminus au golden Sands et qui traverse Varna et tous les endroits touristiques
Hôtel proche de tous les musées, possible d'y aller à pieds distance 1 ou 2 km,
Hôtel à 600 m des routes piétonnes avec commerces et restaurants
Climatisation, frigo fonctionnent parfaitement, literie confortable
Un supermarché ouvert jusque minuit juste à côté de l'hôtel et un restaurant de la chaîne Happy est jumelé à l'hôtel
Par contre , pas de navette pour l'aéroport comme décrit dans le descriptif de l'hôtel mais comptez 1,5€/personne avec le bus 409 et entre 7a 10 euros en taxi
Varna est une ville magnifique , un musée à ciel ouvert et une station balnéaire en plus
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel

Hotel central,proche sea garden.

les chambres correspondent au descriptif. la connexion au wifi correct.Le nettoyage et l'entretien de la chambre est superficiel (murs ,et faiences et inox avec des traces sales)
Sur l'annonce il est indiqué pdj buffet. Cela est innexact avec pdj dans le restaurant à coté avec 4 choix sans possibilité d'avoir du supplément et du thé noir, servir un tilleul au pdj est difficile.

Excelente ubicación. A 5 minutos de la playa y el paseo turístico. Muy bonito el sector y los alrededores. Malo: el hotel es muy viejo, y el desayuno no es muy bueno.
