We were in Wroclaw for a football match. The hotel is situated in the perfect place - right in centre and handy for everything. Bats and restaurants in abundance.

Hotel staff stole earrings i left in room. Expedia said they would contact back in an hour, they told us after we made two calls and two emails they didnt find the earrings. Very disappointed. Staff was unprofessional in how they handled this. Earrings were very sentimental and were left on nightstand. Protect your stuff, dont stay here.

Lovely hotel in lots of ways, but not if you like actually sleeping. We had a room on the front of the building and the street noise from the bar/clubs around was just unbearable. The noise carried on until gone 4am on a Friday and Saturday and the hotel would not move us to a different room.

Overall, we had a really lovely stay. The room was clean, nicely decorated and with a very comfortable bed. The location couldn't have been much better - everything was within easy walking distance of the hotel. I would happily return in the future.

Easy early check in which was great, spacious room. Wasn't crazy about the snap together shower stall and cheap fixture which fell apart in my hands. Nice marble bathroom seemed cheapened by this small plastic shower. If you were a large person, I imagine it could be uncomfortable. Also, if you want to avoid drunken street noise, get a room away from the street. Decent value, very nice staff.

Travelling for a city break I always book a hotel with free toiletries to save me having to muck about with 100ml ones, booked this hotel with that in mind, used shampoo & shower gel Friday night for some reason cleaner removed it on Saturday & didn’t replace, went to reception on Saturday night to ask for replacements twice! The hotel location is great - just a couple of blocks from the Old Town Square and there are some good bars and eateries opposite and nearby the hotel (along with a handy convenience store). Check-in was at 3pm (not 2pm as advised on the hotels.com website) however, I was able to leave my bag at the hotel until check-in opened so was only a minor inconvenience. Rooms are clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms and furnishing. I'd highly recommend this hotel for location, comfort and price and will stay here again if I go back to Wroclaw.

Five friends and I stayed at Grand City for 5 nights last week. The hotel exceeded all expectations from the initial check-in to the rooms and especially the location. Grand City is just far enough away from the main square to be quiet (1 block) but close enough that it provides perfect access to everything Wroclaw has to offer. All of us had nothing but positive things to say about the hotel!

Spent two nights in this great new hotel. Stylish (without trying too hard) and spotlessly clean throughout. Large, well designed rooms with good quality fittings. Comfortable large double bed. Great city, normal comfortable hotel!
We only stayed one night in Breslau and enjoyed it very much. The Grand City Hotel is very elegant and fine, but I always wonder: do hotel-managers never travel in the hot summer time? To sleep without a cover is too cold in the night, but with this heavy warm big fat cover you cannot sleep either! So why not offer your guests a simple sheet to cover in the summer night!

Modern, clean hotel just a few steps from the main square in Wroclaw. We had a room facing the courtyard which was very quiet for a good night rest. Overall great value for money, would definitely consider coming here again!

Yövyimme neljä yötä tässä hotellissa. Huone oli erittäin tilava ja todella siisti. Minibaari ei ollut toiminnassa. Kylpyhuone oli tilava ja pyyhkeet uuden karheita. Olisimme kaivanneet tossuja ja kylpytakkeja, jotka puuttuivat. Huoneessa oli kokolattiamatto, mikä vaimensi ääniä, myös käytävällä oli matto. Hotelli oli erittäin rauhallinen, vain kadulta tuleva melu ylsi ajoittain 3. kerrokseen asti. Söimme aamiaista vain kerran oleskelun aikana ja totesimme sen olevan aivan liian hintava siihen nähden, mitä oli tarjolla. Hedelmät puuttuivat esim. kokonaan, vain muutamia appelsiinin viipaleita oli tarjolla. Odottaisi enemmän neljän tähden hotellilta! Vastaanottovirkailijat olivat superystävällisiä!
