Room was definitely not described or photoed correctly in correlation to the room we were in.

Central location and handy service to check in and out of and well communicated for door entry codes.

Definitely can’t check in early as code starts at 3pm and no “secure” luggage area as it sits at the side of the reception desk.

Room itself was tidy, and clean on arrival, however there was a very foul smell coming from the sink in the bathroom. This smell lasted our whole 3 day stay. The rest of the apartment was fine besides the tv didn’t work well and was all in Polish (understandable) however if you are there for a longer stay not so ideal. No ironing board to go with the iron either.

The access to the apartment is a bit confusing at first, taking different elevators as the units are connected and located through outside bridges. Would definitely stay again!

There are broken doors to bedroom. It Is impossible to keep them closed. Perfect air-conditioning in the apartment. Nearby free empty parking place for electric cars. Very few pieces of dishes in the kitchen. Just one blanket in the bedroom. We announced that we eill be three people and we would need more blankets there. All over, I would use this apartment again. Announcement with instruction and code for doors could arrive earlier. Location is more than perfect.

Terrible dirty looking

Don’t book this property, overall terrible condition state of sofas, beds with dirty looking old sheets and grey colour of towels you will find better hospital white sheets and towels.
We didn’t stay even a minute and no point to ask reception for manager or money back, call your booking site and get your money back immediately.

No toiletries… like 0. Only a cheap half-full handsoap in bathroom.
No wash towels or hand towels.
No blackout curtains.
AC barely worked.
No paper towels in kitchen.
Poor cups/dishes.
Bedding was really pilled and old.
Lamp was falling apart and lightbulb was broken on top of bed.

Quite a basic room. Air on noisy, self check in process. Bed linen provided basic. Basic utilities; crockery etc. Location was good. Cleanliness not great; bathroom floor dirty and hair found in shower. Toilet seat broken and falling off. Wouldn’t recommend unless there for one night due to high noise levels.

Check in is convenient, you can pay 40zlt to park car, but very inconvenient to walk back and our assigned spot was taken by someone else and we had to go back and forth to change spot. And the parking is under building located on krawiecka 3. No elevator lead to floor 0. Complex to go back to the apartment

Very very disappointing start to our trip in Wrocław. The photo of the apartment on the Internet was nothing like the apartment we were given. Old, tired, no renovations, dirty, holes in all mattresses, mattress not clean with yellow staining, no washer/dryer provided which was stated as part of the apartment on WOTIF. One pan for cooking with no utensils. Limited cups and cutlery for 5 people. Will not be staying here again.

Good stay very central to the old town

The apartment was spacious, clean and very close to the old town of Wrocław. Just one street away from the main square in the old town. Could walk there. Could have done with better curtains in the bedroom. Very light and not fitting window properly. The sitting room and kitchenette were quite big. The couch bed was leather and a little soft. Overall a good experience.

Loud apartment, awful people at the reception desk

The apartment is loud: constant buzzing of the AC, like on a plane. There’s no way to switch it off. Apart from that, it’s ok. Another thing that made my stay terrible was the woman at the reception. I asked for an iron which was supposed to be in the room but wasn’t. She said she’d give it to me the next day, which is no good. It was a business trip and I needed to prepare. After some negotiations she said she would check the storage, and then she announced she couldn’t find another iron. I’m sure she never moved her ass from behind the desk (there were two of them and no clients to attend) and she lied to my face. A terrible experience.

The unit was in poor condition, it smelled like fried fish in the living room there was damage to the chairs, flooring, and the microwave did not work.

There was a strong cigarette smoke smell in the sheets had holes in them, the bed linen did not feel clean is we slept in our clothes.

The bathroom was nice and clean, the security guard was very helpfull in getting me a last minute parking and facilitate our arrival.

Not a luxury property, i desperate need of repair and proper housekeeping.

No mattress on beds

We booked a deluxe twin room. The beds were a mattress base with springs coming through,ripped and blood stained with a mattress topper. We slept and asked for mattresses the next day and was provided with quilts to act as mattresses. Day 3 they moved us to the deluxe apartment I had paid for. Asked to buy washing tabs they advertised in reception they didnt have any. Asked for additional towels as only supplied 1 each, they didnt have any. Asked for bath mat as shower door wouldnt close
, they didnt have any. This site is not allowing me to add photos to my review.

The property is itself is clean with 24hr security. The apartment itself is the worst . I’ve stayed at the apartment many times . However the apartment was disgusting. The sockets were off the wall exposing bare wires . Bedding was disgusting. Was advised we couldn’t be moved because no other rooms available.

In the first room toilet was leaking, water in the bathriom floor, mold everywhere in the bathroom, not able to connect to Wi-Fi, holes in the walls, and doors. They moved us to a second room. Stove wasn't working hair dryer wasn't working nightstand lights wasn't working and on the last day at 9:00 a.m. when we are trying to leave the room they locked us in. We couldn't get out of the room for 2 hours. The phone that we found in the room wasn't connected. After making a few international phone calls we finally were able to reached the reception. And they unlock the door for us. It was the most scariest thing I ever experienced, and I travel the world. The front desk were so ignorant about the whole experience. No explanations, no apologies. No customer service.

Brilliant location but improvements could be made

On the plus side the apartment is in a fantastic location and a short walk from the Old Square. We visited for the Christmas Market and it was close enough to pop too and from the market several times during the day.
The apartment was spacious with really comfy beds (including the double sofa bed).
The wi-if was good and it was nice and warm. Plenty of drawer and hanging space.
The negatives were the initial reception. Arriving on a rainy, dark night we could not find the reception. There are no distinguishing signs and the picture used on the ad is not on the street you check in at so you feel that you are in completely the wrong place.
When we finally found it we were met by 3 miserable receptionists who were no help at all. They gave us a poorly printed sheet with the wi-fi code and apartment number and told us to look for the key code across the road. There was nothing there and we spent another 10 minutes trying to find the place.
There were no instructions as to how anything worked or where the bedding for the sofa bed was hidden!
The ad mentioned that breakfast was available but there was no mention of this at all.
My further disappointment was with the amount of cutlery/crockery available. There were no glasses at all and we had to sip my birthday Prosecco out of gritty, chipped mugs.
There were only 2 bowls (in an apartment for 4) and one teaspoon!
Towels were provided but were hard and scratchy.
Such a shame as gave a bad first impression!

Whose idea of luxury this is, I don't know. It's an ok place. Rather basic. I booked a 40 sq m room, got maybe 20. The receptionists saw me and said hello only when they were ready to do so, not a minute earlier (Is it really so difficult to say, good morning, I'll be with you in a moment?). The room had AC on that couldn't be switched off - loud. The view was of an internal courtyard: depressing. I'm not sure about the cleanliness of the place.

It wasn’t my first stay in this place - I feel like every time it gets worst (AC not working, hot water in the shower takes 10 minutes to come up, blocked sink, leaking ceiling, stains on the sofa and chairs), I only booked it because of a great location, but I won’t make this mistake again… the value for money is not there, you can book a junior suite in a 4* hotel for the same amount

-no central heating and AC isn't working
-one of the lamps on the night stand is not working, because there is no socket to plug it in, it is purely for decoration
-lock in the bathroom is not working, and door is not closing on its own
-no microwave
-uneven mattress, as if someone very heavy slept on it , and left a dent(I end up sleeping on the sofa)
-I would recommend to bring your own hair dryer.

Pictures dont match the apartments

Although the apartments were satisfactory i was disappointed that the oictures on hotels.com website did not match the actual apartments, it clearly shows in pictures a spacious apartment with a balcony what you get is a room with kitchen , i did talk to reception and showed them the pictures and they agreed the pictures were not the same as the apartments, the reasin i booked there was to get a balcony for the same money i could have booked a good hotel

We have paid extra for an apartment (studio) to have a \"King-size\" bed. Unfortunately it wasn't even close. It wasn't even a Queen-size standard. Just a small double bed.
The bathroom is big enough but the bath is like one intended for children. A grown-up is unable to sit in the bath. I know Wroclaw like it's leprechauns but you have to be one to fit in that bath.
And that would explain the size of the bed as well.
Other than that the biggest plus is the location. You're in the middle of the city not even a minute away from the old town.
Parking rate is reasonable.
The windows could not be opened as the apartment had it's windows inwards to it's center where you could hear the exhaust of the ventilation systems 24/7. So if you don't want the noise you have to keep the windows closed. Which is hard when it's warm outside.

The location is great, close to main square, lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The service in the apartment wasn't great, all receptionists were all abrupt, we didn't seem to be welcome at all. The information desk was useless, we asked for a map of the area so we could have some sort of idea of where the attractions were but the guy suggested we should use our phone! Of course l know l could use my phone but l had no data left, how hard is it just to put some maps there for the tourists!? In the room, there's no long mirror. So me and my daughter had to take turns to go in to the bathroom to put our cosmetic on cos that's the only mirror they have. No floor mat in the bathroom, no shower gel or shampoo so make sure you bring your own or buy them there. This apartment was just like a better quality Hostel

Great apartment - can they give simple directions?

A new apartment, great location for sight seeing, close to the pedestrian area. The directions on from the staff to the apartment were convoluted. Asked us to take two different elevators, we soon found a single elevator that got us there, so I don't understand why the complicated directions first.. Parking was a pain, but didn't need to be. Lots of free parking around, just that the directions from the staff were, again, poor.
Oh, and we couldn't find electrical outlets in the kitchen. Used our electric kettle on the dining table.. odd.

Very nice staff. The hotel is very clean, in the best location with walking distance to the city center. I will definitely stay there again when I’m in Wroclaw and would highly recommend! Don’t believe the photos and double check what grade of apartment they allocate you.

This trip was my first to Eastern Europe and as such I opted for the deluxe apartment... what I was initially allocated was the studio. Being told ‘my manager mad this booking - there can be no mistake’ whilst maybe being cute and provincial, and that it was what Expedia put on their website and essentially not their problem was a little infuriating.

The lifts were out in my building for the entirety of my 6 day stay.

Make sure you read the small print too. No alcohol allowed in this apartment... this may have something to do with the ‘sexy parties’ you could hear and bump into attendees of.

Clean, modern but no-frills!

We are on a one month trip, so staying in Apartment rentals is a must to wash ones clothing. This was a problem for us. This apartment is modern and new and clean, but our room had a washer, no dryer and no drying rack. There were two towels for two people for three days, no towels for the kitchen or paper towels or facial tissue. No bathroom mat when stepping out of the shower onto slippery wet floor tile. There was one partial roll of toilet paper that ran out, and we had to ask for more. There were only 4 hangers in the room, needed for our jackets and raincoats, so we could not dry clothes on them. There are no luggage carriers, or counter tops, so our suitcases had to be used on the floor. There are two plastic chairs by a dining table, but no other sofa or chair to relax for three days. We sat on the bed with books and iPads. The location is great and close to shopping and the main square.

Getting to the room was like going through a labrynth whan all they need to do is spend $5 to stick some directions on the walls. I was with a friend who also couldn't work out the way to get to it, so it's not only me and even the person on the reception got lost trying to show me.

Also, when they resurfaced the entrance to the main lobby, they stuck some signs up to say go around the block, but on the door around the block, there was no sign. It would have cost them a $0.05c photocopy. There were people running everywhere looking for the entrance. They told me at reception that it was only for one day, I said, but for you to put up a sign is only for two minutes. They just looked at me with a dumb look on their faces, as if to say, \"well what can we do about it\".

When I was leaving, the surface just outside the lobby was very slippery and when I told them about it at reception, they said \"oh, that's because of the re-surfacing\", I said I know that, but what are you going to do about it, they replied that they would call the contrsuction company, I said, you need to call your boss first to let them know about it, in case the construction people do the same in future jobs, that might cost your boss millions if someone slips, especially if Americans are visiting. It just seems that employers here either give no responsibilty at all to their workers, or people in Poland are just disinterested in what goes on around them, or the safety of others.

Great location, well-equipped, and very affordable. The staff were helpful and the room itself contained everything you’d need. There was a noticeable drain smell through one of the vents, but that was the only slight issue. Definitely worth recommending, and next time I visit Wroclaw I will be staying here again.

Apartment and location was good however the customer service aspect needs improvement. The reception staff handed us a folder without explaining that we had to transfer to another building to get to our apartment, which is inconvenient since they should’ve just provided us with an access card for that building but they advised they did not know where the swipe cards were.

Overall apartment and location was very good but the Wi Fi did not work initially and took over an hour of waiting to have this resolved.

Never again

Every morning there were bugs in the bathroom and came home covered in horrid itchy spots on my back, shoulders, arms and face. Doctor says they are bed bug bites! The apartment was rough and not like the photos. Also it took nearly an hour to get checked in.

Good, but need some improvement.

This was a bit more disappointing than earlier visits here. Check in - the lady didn't speak well English and was really hard to understand her explanation where I should go to find my apartment. Also, I asked her to charge in Zlotys on my card and still she chose my local currency, which makes it more expensive... The apartment was not clean. Hair on the floor, hair in the bathtub. It said it was going to be both liquid for dishwasher and washing machine, but this was not - and though the message said to go to the reception to pick up if empty, to get dressed and go out and go into a different building to speak with someone not speaking english was a poor suggestion. If these things would have been working, it would have been full pot happy faces. The roomsize is great, quiet place and great that both coffee and tea are available at arrival.

The apartments are in an ideal location; close to the old town and a 10-15 minute walk from Głowny. Transport and shopping is all around; you’ll want for nothing in that regard. The apartment I rented though wouldn’t be for families, only solo travellers or couples. Also sound doesn’t travel through the floors so you will hear things within the building. All in all very good value for money.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate for a 2 night stay. Most of my time was spent outside of the hotel seeing the sights and visiting the WRC Racing track - great value go-karting for those who are interested! Wifi was good. The second night we had a power outage for a while, but came on again in the evening. Happy to recommend this place - has a modern decor similar to the Ibis hotel chain.

All in all - very good.

We stayed in apartment 9 of Absynth Apartments which was a very large studio apartment with basic cooking equipment. The shower was good and had a washing machine in the bathroom. It was great in that we heard no noise from anyone or the road so had 2 great nights sleep. The pillows however were disappointingly flat. Just a note to get your compass ready to navigate the instructions to get to the room! ;-) All in all, a convenient location and quiet place to stay.

Bad Choice

No Air conditioning. It was present , but the room never cooled below 28 degrees C...It was a summer day. The bed quality was the worst I have had when staying in a place in this price range. I asked for Tech support for the AC and no one ever came, On my last night, they brought a small fan..OMG, I paid for underground parking. It was underground. But it was in a building completely separate from the building where my flat was located. SO i was required to come up the elevator, to a lobby not of the building where I was staying, go outside to the street and go 100 meters to the door/lobby of my flat. So apparently some flats are different. There are so many others properties that do not have that issue.

No on street parking nearby, check in staff were quite unfriendly, terrible pillows! Apart from that this is a great place to stay, clean, comfortable, new, and really well located.

I use this place whenever I'm in Wrocław, it has a great location within few minutes of Rynek square and great shopping. The after hour key pick up which is at a different hotel is what makes me want to give it a low score as it is a pain in the butt.

Good location & pretty bad service

I stayed in Absynt Apartments for over 2 weeks, the service I received was disappointing. The apartment I was in was really dark (I had to keep the lights on throughout the day) and had many malufunctions - AC didn’t work at all, one of the windows wasn’t closing and needed light bulb changes 3 times during my stay (perhaps it was just my luck). When I complained it took 2 days for someone to come and check it. One night all lights went out, it took over 2 hours for someone to answer the phone at the reception...
You can order breakfast, but you have to go to nearby hotel...

Overall the building is in a good location and has a good standard. I rented apartments in the past in the same building but from a different company - and the service I received was much better, other companies offer room service and breakfast delivered to your apartment. I don’t recommend Absynt Apartments.

Nice place but reach there during the daytime

Apartment was clean and in very good central location.
However finding the office for out-of-hours access was a challenge due to poor instructions and no local help in the building.
HOTELS.COM PHONE STAFF HAD NO CLUE AND WASTED MY TIME.
Thanks for the passer by and google maps, we found that OFFICE 15Mins away and in a rough area. However all ended well for us and we enjoyed the stay!

Studio in the Old Town of Wroclaw

Location was walkable to many of the historic sights in Wroclaw, cafes, public transportation, shops, and restaurants. I loved the charming city of Wroclaw and its friendly people! We arrived after midnight, so check-in occurred at the Absynt Hostel, about a 12 minute walk from the property. Check-in was a breeze, and we found the address fine, but the apartment itself was very tricky to find. Lots of instructions, a door code, several staircases, but once we found the place it was delightful! Spacious, with new fixtures, kitchen with everything we needed - including water kettle and coffee. I used Rewards+ points so got the room for an especially great rate. Check-out was simple, and the staff we interacted with were very competent and courteous.

The apartments at Krawiecka street at fantastically situated, affordable and well maintained. I travel to Wroclaw often for Work and this is my preferred place to stay.

Overall very good. Very nice rooms, good location as well. Modern building. Didnt get room service and it was advertised we would get a king bed but only got a small one. Would stay here again if I returned to Wroclaw!

Ideal location, clean and attractive.

Hotel is close to center Market Square...also 30 yds from the Gallerina shopping center. Ideal location. Apartment was very clean with all basic needs. Quite comfortable, quiet, and we would gladly rent again.
