Quiet place, with some amenities not working properly, e.g., missing properly located jacks, it was hardly possible to boil water it the pot. In the toilet, it was impossible to flush it by pressing a short flush button. Too much water was wasted that way. The water did not drain properly in the bathroom cabin. It was hardly possible to close the bathroom door. The elevator was dangerously operating as itd door was unexpectedly closing. Our room was too small for two people and with a skewed window wall, it was easy to bump the head. However, the service people were very nice.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location.
Our room wasn't fitted with a AC, but maybe others are. Im not sure. It would be even more excellent if rooms were fitted with the AC units.

Great location in quieter part of city - 20-25 mins walk to main square with a variety of routes so get to see a lot! Great breakfast for about £12 per head. Rooms a good size and comfortable with a traditional feel. Nice sauna and lovely little bar.

Such a beautifully presented hotel and in proximity to historical and religious buildings of interest. The architectural beauty is breathtaking. I was delighted to see such well maintained and conserved infrastructure. I would have liked to visit and learn more about the gardens in the area but these were locked. I would love to revisit and stay longer to explore more in the future.

I really enjoyed this hotel, but can’t rate it excellent due to some small points; no bin in the living area, just a small one in the bathroom; there was no bedside table/lamp, well there was but it was on the other side of the room which can be awkward when you switch the light off. In addition, the TV didn’t work and there was no fridge in the room. As I said, small things but somewhat irritating.
However, the hotel is lovely, impressive lobby, comfortable, if somewhat severe furnishings in the room and the breakfast was very good! The location was also great, very quiet and within easy walking distance of the city centre.

Hotel was very clean & toom was very comfortable. This, however, was the first hotel at which I've stayed where there was no hot water available in the room to make coffee or tea. The daytime desk clerk was arrogant and made me feel as if I didn't belong. He was very condescending when we asked a question. The location was perfect for all of the attractions we wanted to see, but I would never stay there again.

Pięknie położony elegancki hotel

Elegancki hotel pięknie położony w \"kościelnej\" części Wrocławia, między kościołami, zadbanymi kamieniczkami i brukowanymi uliczkami; szczególnie latem można się poczuć niczym w miasteczku na południu Francji. Z okna widok na piękny kościół św. krzyża i ogród botaniczny.
Część pokoi klimatyzowana (uwaga! nie wszystkie!) , z wygodnymi łóżkami, przyjemną pościelą i wałkami pod poduszką (dla mnie to duży plus, bo lubię spać wysoko i b.b.b.b. często mam z tym problem w hotelach). W łazience cudownie pachnące kosmetyki włoskie Aqua di Parma, suszarka do włosów, chusteczki. W szafie sejf.
Na minus: brakuje zestawu do kawy i herbaty, co jest już niemal wszędzie standardem, brak lodówki; skromna lista kanałów TV. W moim pokoju prysznic się od razu zapychał, więc kąpiel po kostki w wodzie, czego nie lubię...

Hotel lobby and exterior was beautiful! Rooms clean but very basic, our blinds and curtains were damaged also there are no kettle or hot drinks facilities in the rooms which was a huge disappointment after a cold day sightseeing. The location is also beautiful but has no bar or restaurant facilities outside of the hotel and it is a good 15-20 minutes brisk walk to the town square.

Quiet and great food

A lovely quiet hotel on the Cathedral Island. Breakfasts are varied and interesting with an extensive selection of hot and cold foods, made-to-order omelettes, in a lovely space with view on the garden. We also enjoyed the hotel restaurant the evening we arrived. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. An easy walk for all sightseeing, with the cathedral and botanical gardens right next to it, but away from traffic for sleeping. A very good choice for a tourist visit.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the river walks and downtown.

Great location and good choice of breakfast. But rooms are a bit outdated and house keeping missed cleaning my room the 2nd day during my 5 night stay for which I had to complain and also no phone in the room to call reception.

Hotel's location is fabulous, just 10 minutes walk from the old City; the breakfast is absolutely great and evidently surpasses the formal star rating of the hotel;
Front desk service is very good, but housekeeping rather erratic;
The pillows are filled with terrible synthetic stuff and no alternative of feather pillows is provided, so whether bring your pillows with you or be prepared for pain in the neck

The hotel was wonderful, can't fault anything about it. The foyer was amazing with the large chandelier in the middle. We had a twin room which was spacious with a beautiful bathroom. Very cosy, comfortable beds. We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed here for a couple nights as I wanted to see a new city. Hotel was easy to find next to large cathedral, which ended up being a pain later on at night. Maybe I should have looked harder but there was a cross in the room, which as a non catholic was weird for me. Also the room had a weird smell in it as well. My biggest concern was there was a hole in the wall right above the shower head. As a guy, no big deal, but a woman might be a little concerned what the hole was being used for. For the price it was a good hotel, however I would look elsewhere if I decide to go back to Wroclaw.

Hotel is fine, nice public areas, great breakfast room with excellent breakfast. The area is calm and beautiful, with many churches and ecclesiastical buildings (incl. cathedral) and marvellous botanical gardens. Easy access to the city centre by foot or short tram ride.

Parkticket ziehen ist eine Katastrophe, wenn man kein Polnisch kann.

Immer wieder gern!

Ich kenne das Hotel von früheren Aufenthalten. Wir haben es für einen Wochenendtrip gebucht aufgrund seiner perfekten Lage und der Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Botanischen Garten, es war herrlich ruhig. Das Frühstück war super. Hier war ich nicht das letzte Mal!

Das Hotel, die Umgebung, das Personal, das Land ... ist einfach wunderbar. :))
Wir hatten das Frühstück extra gebucht. Leider war keine Abwechsllung im Fühstück vorhanden, d. h. wir haben jeden Tag das gleiche Angebot präsentiert bekommen. Eine Ausnahme bildete der Brötschen- bzw. Brotkorb.

El lugar donde está ubicado es precioso y no hay ningún ruido por la noche, buena comunicación con tranvías, pero un hotel de 4 estrellas tiene otras ventajas y este no las reúne.

Wir schienen die einzigen Gäste gewesen sein. Das Restaurant war geschlossen.
Am Samstag war eine große Hochzeit, das Hotel faktisch geschlossen, wir mussten durch den Keller auf die Zimmer in der 3. Etage gelangen. Irgendwie kamen wir Gäste uns ziemlich nebensächlich vor.

Piękna cicha lokalizacja

Wybraliśmy ten hotel ze względu na lokalizację. Ostrów Tumski wieczorem jest piękny i cichy. W czasie \"wirusa\" mieliśmy wrażenie, że hotel jest prawie pusty, co nam odpowiadało. Nie wyobrażam sobie spać tu razem z autokarami pielgrzymek. Stylistyka holu głównego zupełnie nie w naszym stylu, ale rozumiem, że niektórym się podoba. Imitacja kryształów, czerwone dywany, popiersie papieża, dla mnie zbyt siermiężnie i nie sposób oprzeć się wrażeniu że to styl \"na bogatego biskupa\". To oczywiście kwestia gustu. Pokój normalny, czysty, wygodny choć niezbyt duży. Poprosiliśmy o jedno łóżko zamiast dwóch pojedynczych, pan na recepcji bez problemu znalazł pokój z podwójnym łóżkiem. Jesteśmy szczupli więc rozmiar łózka był OK ale obawiam się, że dla osób odrobinę grubszych byłoby ciasno. Logo JP na pościeli wydaje się trochę nietrafionym pomysłem... Łazienka miła i ładna. Przyjemny zapach mydła. W lampce nocnej przepalona żarówka i brak czajnika w pokoju to małe minusy. Latem to nie problem ale zimą miło napić się ciepłej herbaty w łóżku. Pokój był przygotowany na jedną osobę, jedna poduszka, jeden komplet ręczników, jedna buteleczka wody... Nie było problemu kiedy poprosiliśmy o dodatkowy komplet jednak w tak spokojnym okresie, kiedy prawie nie ma gości można byłoby przygotować pokój na dwie osoby kiedy z rezerwacji jasno wynika, że przyjeżdża małżeństwo. Są to jednak drobiazgi, z pobytu jesteśmy zadowoleni, z chęcią wrócimy ze względu na lokalizację.

Das Hotel verfügt trotz des protzigen Kronleuchters über kein besonderes Flair. Die Abläufe funktionieren gut, dennoch wünscht man sich mehr Freundlichkeit vom gesamten Personal.
Das Zimmer war nach dem letzten Gast nicht gründlich gereinigt worden, wir fanden seine Badeflippers unter dem Schreibtisch und Benutzerspuren in der Toilette. Auch die Duschwand müsste wieder einmal gründlich gereinigt werden.
Im Bad war kein Föhn, er musste erst bestellt werden - und das jeden Tag neu. Auch die angegebene Klimaanlage war nicht vorhanden. Bei 33 Grad im Schatten ein echter Nachteil.

The hotel is well located for visits to the Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski). The décor is unusual and a little dated but everything works perfectly. The wifi in my room was excellent, but apparently that was not always the case: a colleague was forced to worked in the corridor to get a signal. The double bed in my room (single occupancy) was provided with far more cushions than I needed, but the quilt was narrower than the bed so that I had to rearrange the covers before I could use the bed. Breakfast was satisfactory, with lots of fresh fruit available. The staff seemed a little cool, but probably because of their limited skills in English. An exception was the evening receptionist, who clearly enjoyed displaying his considerable talent in English.

Beautiful hotel, a bit old fashion.
Great placement. In the middle of a very nice area.
15 - 20 minutes walk to Rynek. But through nice old areas.
A good restaurant and a very good cafe.
Service is good.
But sound isolation is a bit poor.
Wife ok enough but not fast.
Air conditioning works but are a bit noisy.
Room 102 has street noises also early like 0600 in the morning.
But for 400 Nok with this placement it is ok.
Single beds are a good size and comfortable.
Taxi to railway station was 20zt.
Interesting area for sightseeing, the church outside has view platform on top. Elevator goes up.

À notre arrivée, un accueil plutôt décevant. Nous devions avoir une place de parking, mais on nous informe que nous l’avons seulement pour 2 jours. Le petit souci réglé facilement la journée suivante avec un gentil réceptionniste. Moins plaisant, l’appartement est sale. Mal entretenu. Donne l’impression de ne pas être habité depuis une belle lurette. Les rideaux, les fenêtres et les porte-balcons sales. De la poussière, de la poussière, de la poussière… Bref, cela a pris deux jours pour mettre l’appartement… à jour.

Das Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Ambiente und die Einrichtungen im Empfang und Gastronomie waren sehr gut. Ebenso das Frühstück.Die Lage des Hotels war auch gut bis sehr gut.
Die Zimmeraustattung in der 3. Etage war gut aber leider nicht voll funktionsfähig bzw. nutzbar.
Beispielsweise ließ sich der Save nicht öffnen, die Klimaanlage in unserem ersten Zimmer war mangelhaft. Wäre aber absolut notwendig gewesen, um die Raumtemperatur erträglich zu gestalten. Ein Zimmertausch in ein anderes Zimmer war problemlos möglich. In diesem Zimmer funktionierte die Klimaanlage aber der Save war ausgebaut, also nicht vorhanden. Die Zwischentüren schliffen auf dem Fußboden und ließen sich nicht vollständig öffnen. Der Heizkörper im Bad hing schief an der Wand und war nicht vollständig befestigt.

Der Gesamteindruck des Hotels ist sehr gut; das Personal ist höflich distanziert. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend!
Die Einrichtung der Empfangshalle sowie auch der Räumlichkeiten sind hochwertig, wirken allerdings etwas alt backend schwer, was wohl auch an der kirchlich katholischen Orientierung des gesamten Hotels liegt - wen das denn stört?!
Die Lage des Hotels lädt geradezu zu Spaziergängen in der hervorragend sanierten Altstadt Breslaus ein.
