Friendly staff, a little bit of a drive from town of Vail but price makes up for that. The kitchen had bare minimum supplies, no foil, plastic wrap or ziplocks or any Tupperware to put food away. Pillow cases need to be replaced. Apt was clean and quiet and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace.

The Vail Racquet Club offers nice condos close to Vail with amenities like tennis courts, pickleball, and a fantastic gym. The free bus system, with two nearby bus stops, helps you get to Vail without the hassle of parking. The condos have everything you need, but they could use some updating.

The staff were extremely helpful and were about to get us checked in to our room long before the 4pm time. The property we stayed in itself had everything we needed but wasn't anything mind-blowing; very true to other mountain lodging. Super easy to get to Vail Village and ski via the free buses. The only two drawbacks would be dining options nearby and laundry in the unit. Other than that I would recommend this property for the location and the price.

I thought the place we cute and clean. The guy working the front desk with dark curly hair/beard was not very friendly. He got sassy to us when checking in when asking questions about the property. He also is a huge stickler one who can have access to the gym as we heard him turn away like 3 people. Everything was great besides that, kind of made me want to avoid the gym area.

The condo I was in was great. Only thing missing was something to keep toiletries in the shower. There was a suction caddy in the drawer but the suction doesn’t work. A ledge of some kind would’ve been great. I had to put my toiletries on the floor or the sink counter. Other than that it was a comfortable stay. Warning to all travelers. I was supposed to be on the first floor but I climbed 3 flights of stairs. There’s no elevator. Just keep that in mind esp when shopping for groceries. I’m a hiker so it wasn’t a problem for me. But I wouldn’t buy a big bulk of water etc and climb up those steps.

East Vail Getaway
We went for an overnight stay up to Vail late fall. The Vail Racquet Club was a nice chalet style condo up in East Vail. It was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood setting. The property itself was a bit older but had character. We checked into a condo that was older and were disappointed that it was outdated and not even close to what the hotels.com photo looked like. However, the front clerk, Banning upgraded our reservation to a more suitable room. We were able to hike one our favorite hikes in East Vail about 10 minutes away, The Pitkin Trail. It was a pleasureable stay!

The Vail Racquet club is a great place to get away for a night or two without dropping 500 bucks a night. Our unit was fairly dated, but immaculately clean. There were some minor niggles like a screen door that wouldn’t stay on the track, a bathroom door that wouldn’t lock, and a neighbor that smelled like he was trying to smoke himself into another plane of existence.
Despite that, there were many positives. The front desk was super friendly, the view off the balcony was great, the pool looked amazing, the bed was comfy, and it wasn’t noisy.

This complex is very attractive and well-designed, in a beautiful mountain setting. The 3 BR townhome was very comfortable, light and airy, and extremely well equipped. There is a great gym and swimming pool on the premises, and a casual restaurant that serves good pizza. We arrived late due to a late flight to Denver, and the unit was really hard to find in the dark (despite the map provided by the resort). So, if you book here, be sure to schedule your arrival in daylight. We had an issue with the “smart” features of the townhome – an induction stove and cooktop with no instructions, a “smart” kitchen faucet that was very tricky to operate, and a bedroom thermostat that was set at a single temperature with no ability to get it any cooler during very warm weather. The condo was accessible to Vail, Dillon, Breckenridge, among others. We were too ladies traveling, and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. It had a kitchen stocked with kitchenware, dining room table, and separate living area with flat screen. Outside the creek was running right next to our room. It also had a separate workout facility. The price was extremely affordable. Would stay there again.

East Vail is a distance from the center of Vail where all the restaurants are. The resort's own restaurant serves a typical country club menu, and their service is great, but totally unexpected was the amazing quality of the food. We are still talking about it several days later.
