Despite informing the hotel in advance about our late check-in at 2am, we were given the wrong room and accidentally opened a room that was already occupied. We then had to wait over an hour while the issue was sorted out, which meant we lost valuable sleep after a long journey. The experience was very frustrating, and the customer service was poor, with no proper response or apology from the hotel

Lovely place for its rooms, balcony, swimming pool and staff. Their chlorine levels are suspect and caused ear infections in both our children, and their WiFi is problematic. If they can rectify these issues, along with a better breakfast, it would be somewhere I’d be happy to return to.

Only downsides: The single beds are hard and not comfy new mattress needed. The double and sofa are good.

It's a nice hotel with lots of lovely features (games room,pool tables, table tennis, dart board, chess, library, mini golf amongst other things), but could do with a bit of tlc and attention to detail. The pool is lovely but had lots of grit and the grouting was quite dirty. Communal areas are nice but could generally do with a deep clean or a refresh. We had a self catering apartment that could sleep up to 4, but there's no wardrobe space in the front room, the kitchen units are very high so you have to stand on a step, there's only one small frying pan and one smallish cooking pot, no medium sized glasses only small tumblers or wine glasses. Would also benefit from a little shop onsite. There is a vending machine with a small supply but a can of coke is 3.50 which seems excessive. We'd stay again, but we got a really good deal for this trip and if we had paid 'normal' price we might have been disappointed. Car recommended.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. The room was full of cockroches crawing over us and our belongings. One of our travelers had an allergic reaction to them and they still refused to change our room or refund our stay. They promised an ealry morning clean at 8 am by 4pm no one came and we killed 7 of them by then. The receptionist said that this is normal as a \"storm\" is coming. The hotel also doesn't come with daily clean only if you given them a 24 hour notice but that also doesn't always guarantee you a clean or clean sheets / towels.

This was our second stay and our expectations from last year were met once again. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and they always have a smile. The hotel is so clean, feels so safe and inviting and the option of an apartment to ensure a proper bed each for our family of four (not pull outs) was a game chnager for our teenage children. The pool, crazy golf & various entertainment provided were all in exceptional condition. Breakfast was the same each day, howevere with such variety on offer, it was hard not to mix it up. We used the shuttle bus to the beach each day and found using taxi's very smooth for evening trips out. The local supermarket is small but well stocked & the little restaurant next door does wonderful food for a quieter meal than down by the seafront. Over all, we love this resort and hotel & would recommend it in a heartbeat to families, couples and friends.

Overall in most areas the hotel is very tired looking and needs a considerable amount spent on upgrades. Nice pool area with plenty of sun beds but again these are very worn. Large pool area but not at all clean. Nice setting in the hills and only a 10 min drive to Los Christianos. Without a car you would be very isolated.

We had a short break here in February. The accommodation met our needs but did feel that it could do with upgrading. Location was great and it was nice to be away from the main coastal areas. The pool area was lovely and there were plenty of sun loungers available. Reception staff always friendly and welcoming and were very helpful in helping to arrange for the return of an item I left behind.

service was poor, we stayed 4 nights and had no cleaning during that days.
Card to get into the room was broken several times.
Breakfast started late, selection was very limited compared to other 4* hotels.
We had a water leak in the room from the upstairs neighbour, called reception several times and nobody fixed it. The hallway was thus flooded 3 consecutive evenings, with water coming down the wall.
Wifi was bad - kept disconnecting every few minutes.
Missing blanket cover at the beginning, we had to improvise and cover it ourselves with two bed sheets, which is not hygienic.

We loved our stay here as a family of four. The staff were so friendly and helpful and could not do more for us.
I would personally steer away from the restaurant and breakfast, it’s over priced and it’s not that good. Go out for dinner and grocery store your own breakfast.

The hotel is in a quite location and set out nicely with parking, the rooms are large, the kitchen has all the items needed apart from a washing machine and a dishwash. The bedroom and bathroom could with updating air conditioning unit cracked and a strange 5 litre water bottle wedge in it, tap have lost the chrome finish they are so old, mirror in bathroom cracked, it’s time to update the whole place.

Had a lovely couple days at this hotel everything screamed luxury!
When we arrived we were greeted by Bruno and he really set our holiday off to a good start he was welcoming, we mentioned we had a car to explore and he recommended some amazing places, thank you Bruno!
The weather wasn’t great but we were in for a treat when we discovered the pool is heated, we didn’t really use the facilities as the pool had no music or atmosphere. The evenings were also as lovely was a wake so we got a taxi into town for around 12/15 euro

Massive pool heated. Plenty seats around the pool. Good breakfast. No shops in walking distance, like supermarket, but 5 minutes by car to the nearest one. You will need a car or go in shuttle bus once a day, leaving in the morning return in the afternoon. Reception friendly.

Overall, my experience at the hotel was decent. We arrived at 11:40 pm, and unfortunately, the room key didn't work, which was a bit annoying. However, the staff was very helpful and cheerful, despite being understaffed. The hotel itself is not modern or stylish, more reminiscent of 2006, but it is clean. The bathtub jacuzzi was not working, but it was spacious. The pool was nice, and the view was okay. Parking was convenient, and the price was reasonable. The breakfast was satisfactory, better than the UK Ibis breakfast.

The rooms were a bit dated and none of the doors opened properly and got stuck against the floor which was just annoying, also sink didnt drain properly, not a big issue. The location was ok, the shuttle was good for getting to cristianos in the day but taxis at 10-15 euros to the beach and restaurants was more than i expected and made eating out very expensive. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was also pretty expensive but it was nice. The pool and mini golf were great too

Reception staff were on the phone for 15 minutes with family before finally checking us in. Which they did with plenty of attitude. Didn't give us relevant information like the fact that you have to ask to get your room cleaned (only hotel in the world that requires this??). Breakfast was very average and always the same. Rooms were spacious but a little dated. Lacked some thoughtful touches like somewhere to put the shower gel in the shower. The only slight silver lining was the main pool area which was very pleasant. Won't be coming back though.

Central areas of hotel are lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are in need of a refurb but that’s reflected in the price. Bar on site closes early. This place is ideal if you want a quiet holiday. Restaurant and supermarket up the hill from here. Not particularly suitable for those with mobility issues. Bus stop a five minute walk away. Taxis between 8-10 euros to Los Cristianos, Las Americas. 12 Euros to Costa Adeje. Free bus to beach from hotel at 10:30. Returns at 17:30. Go for bus early as it fills up quickly and it departs at 10:30 sharp

I’m serious need of an upgrade

This hotel is in need of a serious upgrade. The rooms are dismal and tatty. The bathroom was horrendous. The air conditioning unit leaked on to my clothes in the wardrobe ( which was ineffective) and stained three of my dresses. We only chose this hotel to be with our friends and their kids. We won’t be back.

So this is definitely a four star but is pretending to be a three star for some reason.
The man on the front desk that checked us in was rude and is the only reason that I wouldn’t return to this hotel.
The bar guys Rodrigo, Alfredo and Daniel absolutely made our trip. Our daughter was made to feel like a princess every day by them and we will be forever grateful for their kindness and absolute dedication to their jobs. Pool bar food was lovely.
We did see a manager a couple of days but he barely spoke to guests.
The room was cleaned once in three days but others were having their rooms cleaned daily so not sure what happened here.
Ants are everywhere here and it’s worth noting that this may have something to do with the cleanliness by the pool.
The hot tub is freezing cold so not hot.
Locals are welcomed here with day passes and we had issues with some very drunk day visitors being rude, nasty, inappropriate in front of children and even trying to take our daughters pool toys!

Whilst we absolutely loved our holiday and made the most of it. If a couple of changes were made, this place could be so much better!

Having stayed at this property on six occasions it is sad to see that no entertainment is available like bingo and singers. Also the shuttle bus only ran once a day. However the staff were as wonderful as ever. Sadly we had very noisy neighbours but that is not the properties fault. Maybe it was because we went in a different month than normal.

On arrival to the property the man that checked us in was really nice and gave us all the information that we needed- very well done.
Our room was pleasant had a good balcony and room was clean. However, the door that led onto the balcony scrapped along the floor and points got stuck because it was too long. The bathtub was a jacuzzi setting and we pressed it and lots of black stuff came through it. You had to ask for the room to be cleaned 24th beforehand one day we did and they said they were already full for the next day. When asked the bar staff at the pool regarding pool they said they didn’t know and speak to reception. The area is not much to do at all all the bars and restaurants are a 10min drive cost of 10euro each way by taxi. There’s a bus stop but they’re every 30 mins and you have to by a bus card. The hotel got the sun small amounts because of it being high up it got all the clouds so it was hard to be in the pool and sunbathe.
The breakfast was nice good selection and tasted nice

The pool and outdoor facilities are amazing. However the rooms need a bit of renovation. They were clean but the bathroom bin hadn’t been changed and the glasses and cutlery in the kitchen were not clean. It’s a flat but there is not kitchen soap or cloth and they don’t come everyday to clean it, which means the kitchen stuff was badly clean by the people before us and the cleaners didn’t check. This is really not ok, especially in time of covid. Also there is a sofa bed in the main room but no shutters on one window so not ideal to sleep.

Property and service were both excellant. However, this holiday was advertised by Expedia.co.uk with a \"12 minute shuttle transfer\" from and to the airport with a picture of a mini bus- the reality, after a tiring journey in the first place, was a full coach that dropped off weary travellers at numerous hotels and took one hour and twenty minutes to reach our hotel where the driver dropped us off at the bottom of a very steep hill stating he could not get his coach into the car park of the hotel which clearly was not true as the hotel provided a daily coach service to the built up areas on the coast in a coach of the same design that parked outside thr hotels front door! On the return journey we paid extra for a taxi which took 12 minutes to get to the airport. I like Expedia and have booked holidays through you on several occasions but please dont produce false advertisements as it lets down Expedia.co.uk.

The breakfast, lunch and the pool area is very. But the rooms were ok, nothing special but not terrible. The bathroom needs updating. The cleaners dont sweep the floor which is disappointing as it gets dusty. Its in a nice quiet location and about 8 mins by taxi from main areas. The staff, i found condescending and not friendly or cheerful.

Had a great time here, the apartment was really nice and big with and excellent balcony. The pool was fantastic and the overall aesthetic of the hotel was really chilled and nice.
Something to note, the hotel is a ten minute drive from the main spots but walking is not an option due to the motorway you would have to cross. They do ha e shuttle but I did not use this.

The place it’s self is beautiful unfortunately there are too many things that let it down, it starts with them being understaffed, the restaurant service extremely poor food, to the utensils in your apartment not be correct, cupboard doors nearly falling off. It’s just the longer we stayed the more let down we felt. The pool was extremely cold as was the jacuzzi. Apparently there machine that heats wasn’t working. For the amount of money and the way they portray them selves as 4 or 5 starts it did not meet expectations at all. It was still a beautiful hotel when you don’t look to close and some of the staff was a stand out, but overall I wouldn’t return to this hotel a there is to much companionship to be as expensive and no where near as good as other places half the price.

My only suggestion is to have those little packets of sugar in every room or maybe a few teabags to start with. Also, we only had one towel for 3 people, a very minor mistake. Overall, FANTASTIC!

Poolside duplex apartment was great - nicely decorated Balinese-style. Huge pool. Not walking distances of the beaches, but there is a free shuttle bus (or coach at peak times) from the hotel at given times - rather frustratingly, the bus company in question does not allow small suitcases on board, even when there is plenty of room; we got a rather 'computer says no' response. Couple of restaurants 10-15 mins walk away in Chayofa if you want a change from the hotel food, which is reasonably priced but nothing special. Some hotel staff friendlier and more helpful than others.

Wonderful, quiet, relaxing apartments, fabulous pool area, brilliant staff. Apartment was comfortable, the bed was lovely, linen crisp and clean. Fabulous large terrace area. Terrace furniture was old and in need of varnishing. The kitchen area needed some attention, it was tired and a bit tatty which was disappointing. Maintenance were very quick to repair the two doors which were broken.
Great to have a courtesy bus into the main town all day and into early evening. Taxi's back were plentiful and cheap.

Excellent facilities particularly for children. The pool area is very clean and the water was warm. The children's play area is very good and the mini golf is excellent. There are also table football and other games. The food at the restaurant is excellent and staff are very friendly.

The one thing I didn't like was the Christmas Day evening menu. It was not suitable for children and there was no a la carte menu and the mini market was closed so we couldn't buy food to eat at the apartment so we had no choice but to pay 200 Euros for a menu that we didn't want and the kids didn't eat.

Staff very helpful, apartments very comfortably furnished and well equipped. Nothing close to hotel and close to fast roads so couldn't walk from the door. Large courtesy bus to and from various local resorts but didn't run later in the evening

horrible food but friendly staff

hotel staffs are friendly but the food they sell in the resturant are absolutely disgusting and hugely,over priced, i had a fillet steak that looked like its steamed instead of pan fry and costs me 16euros, chips are microwaved, horrible food overall. hotel house keeping is either very early,in the morning like 8:00 or very late in the afternoon like 5pm.
room is big but the beds are very uncomfortable, shower door cant close properly and shower head broken. the hotel location is remote, u need taxi to go anywhere.

however the swimming pool is nice, staff are friendly and helpful, also have mini golf free to play at anytime which is nice, room has balcony and kitchen so its convinent to cook and have a nice pool side view.

Lovely hotel which met most of our expectations. The staff were attentive and friendly however on arrival we had to wait for 40 minutes before giving access to the apartment. I realise they have certain customer service standards however we had to wait for the conceirge to take us to our apartment and all he did was really show us the way. After a long flight all you want to do sometimes is go to your room! In saying all that it did not detract from our stay, lovely hotel, nice area, great pool outside bar and restaurant good, and staff very friendly and attentive

We liked the quieter surroundings on the hills rather than in Los Cristianos. Great pool, excellent breakfast and dining facilities. Free shuttle to beach and access to pool area after check out whilst waiting for flights was much appreciated. Good base for the area. Staff very friendly. Only gripe would be that there wasn't much seating inside the apartment considering 4 people were staying there, and the kitchen was a bit shabby.

Nice suite and facilities.

Friendly staff are very helpful. Its a little outside the main tourist areas but we found this more relaxing plus they're only a short (approx. 10 Euro) taxi ride away! Would book again although there seems to be some additional apartments being added so hopefully this will not change the character.

Overall lovely place to stay. Kids club put on a show and got the kids involved no matter the age! Great free shuttle service to get around Tenerife. Only gripe was no cash machine onsite or nearby.

WOW!

Definitely a contender for one of the top five places I've stayed in and the best self-catering facility I've visited. The staff are amazing, the facilities even more so. This is a truly special find that I'm almost loathe to give the review it deserves for fear of missing out on being able to easily book again in the future.

lovely apartments but NOT CLOSE TO NIGHTLIFE

picture is deceiving as it overlooks areas that are being constructed on or a hospital. does not overlook the ocean. 10 euro cab ride either way at night. shuttle only during daytime to PLAYA DE LAS AMERICAS which is where I would stay next time. BUT STAFF IS EXCELLENT, VERY CLEAN, had kid activities (although I had no young children)

If you want a luxury hilltop stay close but away from the maddening crowds on the beaches this is the place for you. Hire car an advantage but not essential as there is a municipal free bus service to beaches (10 mins) etc. Flexibility of self catering in addition to hotel’s full and half board on a lazy day is a great to have.

Lovely hotel, a little secluded.

Overall a beautiful holiday. But unfortunately, the hotel restaurant doesn’t live upto the hotel standards: 3 waiters rushed off their feet, asked for freshly squeezed Orange juice and got diluted instead. Asked for seafood linguine without the mussels and got WITH mussels. Ordered cesar salad and it came without any chicken in it! Wanted to speak to restaurant manager, but he avoided us till we checked out(although he said he’d ring us and we wasted hours of our holiday waiting for him to call, he didn’t). Eventually Recepionist Gabriella waived the bill for us. Also, we had rusty water pouring out of the jacuzzi and the bidet didn’t work. They should have left a notice stating about the bidet. It got used, so I told reception that the water wasn’t draining and was told that maintenance would fix it. Nope, it wasn’t fixed! After twiddling about with the leaver, the water eventually drained but it was never cleaned! Very disappointing. I think the chrome handles of everything in the bathroom needs renewing too, as the sparkle has gone from them and they just look worn, like brushed steel. I cannot praise the Receptionists enough. A special mention goes out to Botcha and Gabriella, my favourites. They always helped us out with suggestions on where to go, and Gabriella in particular, helped sort out a massive problem with Easyjet emailing me to say our flight had been brought forward by half a day, when in fact it hadn’t been! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable

Lovely Hotel

Very pleased with our choice of hotel. Location only 15 mins max from airport but did not see/hear any planes the whole time we were there.
Staff were lovely and could not be more helpful. We only ate at the restaurant once and were not overly impressed but other people were
raving about food so maybe we are just too picky. The swimming pool is
fab and always seemed to be sunbeds available. Our room was a one bed apartment. The bedroom was very small and only just enough room to walk round bed with very limited space for hanging clothes. The living/kitchen area needed a bit of updating it was all a bit dark and jaded but was spotlessly clean and good enough for a weeks stay. After visiting all nearby resorts would say without doubt we made the right choice.

Great spot, will likely return

The Regency Country Club is around 3km up the hill from central Los Cristianos, with views directly over the bay and across to La Gomera. This 4-star spacious estate is set around a huge infinity-style pool that I doubt would never get cramped, even in high season.
The images of the apartment online are a little clever with the angles, in person, the space is a lot smaller than we anticipated. We almost brought along two other friends with us to use the sofa bed which was advertised as suitable accommodation for a further two people, but we were glad this didn’t work out as soon as we checked in to the room.
Nice touches such as a chilled bottle of cava on arrival, a big bathtub, and in our case a spacious balcony with sea views made us feel immediately at home.
The hotel was great, and we felt value for money. The only criticism would be the paper thin walls and ceiling: not only could we hear our neighbours, we could reply to them. To be honest this wouldn’t have be an issue if we didn’t have some night owls close by, but reception were helpful in drawing neighbours’ attention to this, and encouraging them to pipe down. But worth considering if like us you’re on the hunt for peace and quiet.
A pleasant surprise was the restaurant in the hotel, which I wasn’t expecting a lot from after reading reviews before our stay. But we really enjoyed on two occasions & would fully recommend

With a car this is a very viable location.

The location is a negative but it is quiet and easy to access the fleshpots of las americas. Room very nice and spacious and represents good value compared with the similar rated hotels on the front. Leaving aside location this is a very relaxing experience. Not a problem for us as we had a car. Will be back.

Great hotel for families

lovely hotel with nice swimming pool, jacuzzi and pool/snack bar. kids loved the playpark and kids club and also liked the mini golf course. only small niggle was our appartment was at the back of the block next to a fairly busy road and was quite noisy in the appartment, but thankfully the road was quieter during the middle of the night so didn't disturb our sleep much. appreciate not much could be done about this and had a lovely view from balconay. staff were friendly and helpfull, excellent.

Lovely pool area.

Very nice complex. Apartment was very well stocked with kitchen equipment. There is a mini market on the complex that sells a good range of food & drink. Pool area is very relaxing and spacious. On check-out we put our luggage in the lockers and used the pool all day (they have showers for using after checkout) until it was time to leave. Breakfast was a nice selection. We ate dinner twice as it was a HB deal. The food the first night was lovely but not so good the second night. Had lunch by the pool twice, that was nice. Overall a very good place to stay for a chill-out time. They do run a shuttle bus to Los Cristianos but we did not leave the complex. Used a bus (418) to get there from Los Cristianos estacion. Wifi does not work in the room, only on the balcony pointing towards reception.
