The water didn’t drain from the shower and the bathroom sink, awful smell in the room on the first night so requested another room, then the toilet was clogged, had to go buy Starbucks next door and used the bathroom there. We had to wait in line to have breakfast and the breakfast was not like the picture.

Old hotel urgently needs renovation
The exterior and the common areas looked ok but the A.C. In our room #116 didn't work, neither did the shower drain and there was no hot water. The place needs a gut renovation beyond painting and patching. Hotel staff were slow to respond and moved us to another room after two hours. Btw the breakfast buffet was sad too. Never coming back here!

This is a motel, where you drive around to the entrance of your room. The bed was hard as a rock. The toilet didn't flush. Some of the lamps were hard wired into the plug. One cord was spliced into another and electrical tape used to wrap it up. The staff was not the least bit friendly.

Stayed 1 week. In town for a family wedding. Without hot water on day three for 24 hours due to a breakdown with the system but this is my only complaint. Good breakfasts. Service excellent. Fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, pancakes or waffles, scrambled eggs plus a couple of local dishes. Outdoor pool looks good.

The hotel is a bit older, but well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and Starbucks next to the hotel made everything convenient (we Americans appreciate convenience). My only remark would be that the mattresses are hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. Room was clean, and in good repair - prices were a little high for the area but I consider it a worth while value.

I stay here twice a year as I journey to winter in Mexico from Canada. The room are clean. You need to plug in power to use fridge and there is no Bath tub only shower which is typical for Mexico. The beds are also firmer that US and Canada. I like the secure parking area. There is also a Starbucks and a good restaurant on the lot. Very convenient Easy access to and from Hwy 57.

This was our overnight stop to break up the 800 mile trip between Texas and Central Mexico..
It's not the easiest hotel to find off the main highway; but, once there it was quite adequate and our car with belongings seemed secure in a gated parking lot.

The hotel is great. There is nothing to complain about it but only that if you wait to long to book a room. More than likely you won't be able to. It gets full and then you have to settle with less, much less comfort and all that we as travelers like to have. The location is close to supermarkets and fast food places.

This was an overnight stay. This year my room was facing parking lot, which has security guard. While there was a little more noise due to vehicles it wasn't a problem as only a bus and a truck left early before sunrise. The staff were very helpful as I inadvertently booked for the next month and it was corrected easily. Nice breakfast in the morning. There is a Starbucks and a fine restaurant on each side of hotel.

I have stayed at this Quinta Dorada hotel in Saltillo on several occasions since 2007. Since 2007 the hotel has gone over a remodeling and the rooms look like any business hotel. There are some good local restaurants within walking distance.
