Room was fine however very warm, and found out that there is no Air Con. A hotel in Spain with no Aircon!!!
I turned it on initially to cool the room and it heated it to 26 Deg Centigrade.
No free water available in the room and expect to be charged €3.5 for a bottle to use for washing your teeth.
Bar was miserable and dull but drinks were fine and bar staff were pleasant
Breakfast buffed was fine but to many queue's for the coffee machines.
Liked the fresh orange juicer which was a nice touch
Hotel was fine but I don’t think I would probably use it again if in town

Everything went well. The Superior double room with two single beds (as requested on arrival) was clean, tidy, of good size, with a well functioning internal temperature changing facility.
It was also adequately equipped with a well laid out ensuite shower/wc / wash basin.

Long weekend trip

This was our 3rd time staying here and there’s likely been a change of management since June 2022. Generally still great - clean, blackout curtains, comfy bed, friendly staff. We had one minor issue with our door not being able to lock properly. Reception was informed twice, once we even spoke with the on-site caretaker but they ended up not fixing the door and we had to find a way to make sure it was securely locked. There were multiple parties happening at the time of our stay so they may have been particularly busy. The best thing is how close the hotel is from the large department store.

The hotel location was convenient and within walking distance with respect to restaurants and points of interest in Murcia. Breakfast provided a good selection of food and pastries, however, restaurant choices were not optimal. Hotel was located next to a shopping mall that had a great grocery store in it. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

NH has a good chain of hotels.
The receptionist was pleasant and smiling. An early check in. Good lifts to the room.
The light in the hallway wasn't working. Very difficult to see slot to insert room key. Had to use torch on phone.
Room a good size. Nice view of outside area. Bright room. The furniture a little chipped. Comfortable armchair. Small table.
I had only booked one night because I wasn't sure whether I would get a walk-in shower. It seems that the hotel only provides combination bath tub and shower. It's so dated. Uncomfortable. No grab bar. The shower only provides a weak flow of water. Definitely not a power shower. Glad I only booked for one night.
Comfortable bed and decent air conditioning. Quiet. Safe neighborhood. Near amenities eg el corte Ingles department store.
I understand that the hotel is going to undergo a modernization soon.

So much orange!!

The room was dark and the walls were an orange coloured panelling that had a glossy finish. The furniture was black and shabby and had seen better days. The bathroom was OK except for the line of dirt between the walls and the floor. However, the hairdryer was the best that I've ever had in a hotel but this didn't make up for the overall shortcomings of the room.
The staff were very efficient and helpful, and the breakfast was ok. The restaurant was also very, very orange!
Could have been a retro look but I got the impression that it was just outdated and in need of refurbishment.
Wouldn't want to stay there again.

Murcia Trip NH Amistad Hotel

This hotel is in a perfect location to explore Murcia city. You can walk to the old part easily and visit the Cathedral. You can have meals in the delightful plazas. Tapas are readily available at most restaurants and must be sampled. Our only bug bear with the hotel was that the air conditioning didn't work and the hotel was boiling. When we opened the windows the traffic noise and the turning out of a nearby club forced us to close them in the early hours of the morning - so not very restful. On the whole we did enjoy our stay in Murcia.

Nice hotel close to the center. Has it's own parking which is a plus if you come with a car. Clean room, a little on the small size, but for Europe it is quite spacious. The free Wi-Fi was good for e-mail and browsing the internet. The staff was very accommodating.

We booked this hotel for its location and were not disappointed! We walked everywhere- less than 15 minutes to the Cathedral, 10 minutes to the main Grand Via and centre of town with many restaurants and shops, 5 minutes to the nearest branch of Zara and 1 minute to Corte Ingles Department Store! We arrived at Murcia Del Carmen train station and a taxi to the hotel was just under 10 euros.
We arrived at 10pm on Friday night and went to our room. I am very anti-smoking and had checked beforehand that this hotel is 100% non-smoking. Unfortunately, I could smell smoke quite strongly in the corridor to our room. This isn’t really the hotel’s fault - I presume it was a guest smoking illegally in their room. Anyway, the girl on reception immediately allocated us a room on another floor, which was perfect. Very well dealt with.
We then ordered pasta and a glass of wine room service - delivered promptly, courteously and well presented!
Breakfast was very good. A good selection of fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fresh juices, coffee. There was a silver dish of sausages, bacon and scrambled eggs which I did not try. There was a sign on our table saying we could ask for eggs to be cooked to order. We both ordered omelettes, which were delicious!
We ate in the town on the Saturday - highly highly recommend La Mary Restaurant!
We left on Sunday at 1pm. Checkout was at 12 o’clock, but we were told by Reception that it was no problem to keep the room until 1pm.

We were allocated this hotel on a previous business trip and so chose it for a stopover between Granada and Valencia. The staff were welcoming but the rooms were cramped and stuffy. We didn't sleep well. The mostly black decor didn't help to raise our mood. The restaurant advertised a football match with my favourite team but we had to watch it in the room in the end and missed the first half. The breakfast is sumptuous but expensive breakfast so we had a coffee and a croissant in a nearby cafe.

Excellent location to see Murcia's old centre. Easy to find by road, and free parking in the street (In the orange bays but only in August!). Comfortable room. Restaurants of every variety and price in all directions for an evening meal. 5 minutes walk to the edge of the old town, 10 minutes walk to the Cathedral. For shopaholics, El Corte Inglés is just across the road. Excellent breakfast - wide selection to a very high standard.

Very friendly staff! Breakfast Buffet limited and over priced! The room was clean and modern, but there was a problem with the cooling system. Opening the window was not an option due to the street noise all night. Air was some better after complaining, but not below 25C.Lobby was well equipped with abundant seating, as was their restaurant area. Dinner menu was limited, well priced and good quality for what we ordered.

The hotel was ideally situated for our stay near our daughter's appartment and near to some really good shops. It was clean and modern and the staff were so helpful despite the fact that our Spanish was non existent and their English a bit limited. They couldn't do enough to ensure our comfort.
Breakfast was a delight with a good range of cold foods with hot to order.
We will definitely book again and I would without hesitation recommend the Hotel

La séptima vez y la peor

La habitación tenía suciedad en el suelo y en el techo tanto de la habitación pero especialmente del baño manchas de humedad enormes. Hacía excesivo frío en la habitación tanto que llegué a pasar hasta fiebre, llamé varias veces a recepción. La primera subieron a quitar el aire pues yo había puesto la calefacción pero ésta estaba desconectada (la propia chica de recepción acusó el frío de la habitación), una hora después volví a llamar pues no subía la temperatura, les pedí un albornoz dadas las circunstancias y me dijeron que estaba reservado para habitaciones superiores, solo me ofrecieron una manta extra. A las 8 de la noche tenía que estudiar, no dormir, debajo del nórdico no hacía frío pero no eran capaces de entenderlo.

Cet hotel ne possede pas d air conditionné pour refroidir la piece. Je n ai pas reussi à dormir correctement pendant trois nuits.( 26 degres ds la chambre). J ai ete changé de chambre mais le probleme subsistait.
Il y a des seminaires, fetes donc si vous etes au deuxieme etage, les vitres tremblent et vous entendez les enfants crier. Le restaurant n est pas terrible. Dormit la fenetre ouverte, vous pouvez oublier, c est tres brutant. J ai demande un ventilateur mais pas possible. J ai demande une compensation bien maigre à savoir le parking ( hors de prix ). Je l ai obtenu mais plus jamais sercotel...
