The inn is conveniently located next to the Gettysburg National Cemetery and close to the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center. It is a charming old fashioned building, decorated with lots of civil war paintings. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a balcony. The "simple American breakfast" turned out to have more variety choices than we expected and the attendant made sure it was constantly replenished. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this inn.

Clean rooms, close to the battlefield and Main Street. The property layout was a bit confusing, and there was a lot of noise from kids running up and down the hall for an hour (around 9 p.m.ish). Breakfast food was tasty, especially the sausage, waffles, and mandarin oranges. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

For the pricing, this place is incredible. The breakfast is well done, and the staff are very helpful. On top of that, you're in the middle of the town, with easily walkable food and shopping options, as well as the battlefield.

Upon checking in, they should let you know that the door to the main lobby is locked from 11 AM to 6 AM and my wife went out at 5 AM and couldn’t get back in because she couldn’t find the door to be let back in. She went to several spots of the hotel and finally came around and rang the doorbell

The room was not bad at all, the staff was friendly. Reasons for my 3 star review was that the heat stopped working in the middle of the night, or I should say very early morning. Too late to switch rooms or have someone come look at it. So we woke up to a very cold room. It was in the teens outside. I can’t blame the hotel just our bad luck. Also ( and also not the hotel or staff’s fault) but who ever was staying above us either had a child with shoes made out of bricks or they just stomp as they walk? Either way it was loud at night and in the morning. Again both instances were not the hotel or staff’s fault. I’m sure under normal circumstances this would’ve been a lovely stay.

They have a coffee machine with options for hot water, hot chocolate, coffee, lattes etc. the breakfast was the only thing I was not impressed with. Not much room in the breakfast area and not many options. But still it’s free with your stay. It is perfectly located in walking distance to shops, restaurants. I would stay there again.

The man at the desk when we checked in was very nice and helpful! The room was clean but the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were even worse! One of the pillows felt like a bunch of pillow cases folded up inside, the other two felt like beanbag pillows!! Our room was right near the front desk and from 6 am on you could the ringing of the front door bell over and over and over!! Would not stay there again!

Worst Hotel we have stayed in at Gettysburg. The breakfast was mediocre. The staff was not friendly. I asked for a receipt on checkout and was told no, was never asked how our stay was. I feel this Hotel profiles its patrons. I saw staff interacting with other patrons and asking them how their stay was and if they needed anything. I will never stay at this Hotel again.
