My flight was changed due to the current world situation and they refused to give a refund. Expedia tried to contact the property it took days for them to respond. Even a partial or credit refund would have been nice, particularly because I was a regular user. But not any more. I know I didnt pay the extra for cancellation but I never thought I would need to cancel. I didnt predict a war in Middle East would cgange my travel plans.

Rooms were OK. Bathroom was very small. Shower and washing table were in the same spot. You can't leave the door open, because the could fine you $1500 if some detector get off. Check in was very poor. Staff was busy talking and laughing with each other. Didn't tell us check out time or when and where we can have breakfast. In the end we had just 20min to eat our breakfast in the hotel next door. Staff over there was very polite.

The hotel was not really close to the airport considering you have suitcases to carry. In our case with three young children not ideal. There was no clear instruction how to get there or a possibility to take a shuttle bus. From domestic you could walk (like 15min ..), but not from the international airport. Our idea was to have a good rest before we were heading to our b&b in Sydney, but in the end we could better travel an hour to our b&b instead to waste our money on this hotel.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that you can walk to the airport. I’ve been to other Ibis and this one is the worst I’ve seen. Tv didn’t work, unstable mini fridge. Bathroom
Sink in the shower. The room was so small that it’s hard to manœuvre around with the luggage. Lobby under renovation. But to be honest you get what you pay for. 100$ is cheap to be close to the airport. Sheets where clean and the bed comfortable.

Clean room, air con was noisy but worked semi ok, didnt cool as good as we would expect at 19, 21, 22 degrees. Needed water and vending machine only took cash. Reception had no water to sell, only alcohol. Good sized cups for tea and coffee in rooms.

Room was very basic. No wardrobe, just a thing on the wall to hang items. No tissues. Air conditioning worked well. Bed was very comfortable. Convenient position as you can walk to the airport. TV wasn’t working with remote, had to figure a way to turn it on and change channels manually.

Only stayed for one night, but the service made it a smooth experience. Check‑in was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. After checking out, we were able to leave our bags there for a few hours while we explored Sydney, which was incredibly convenient. Everyone we dealt with was courteous and kind. The location is also great — very close to the domestic airport. Overall, a comfortable and hassle‑free stay.

The accommodation was barely maintained. Marks all over the walls, tiles in bathroom discoloured (need to be scrubbed) which made me feel uncomfortable walking on the carpet barefoot. Booked due to price. Very budget.

The room was perfectly adequate for a short overnight stay before an airport departure, simple, no-frills, and ok value. It was quiet and comfortable enough for a decent night’s sleep.

One thing to be aware of is that the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the domestic airport. This wasn’t clear when booking, and while the route is well signposted and manageable, it could be inconvenient if you’re travelling with multiple bags.

Terrible front desk staff were not helpful and displayed a nasty attitude when complained about the controlled heat in room. Room heaters are set and room was too warm so had to leave hotel room door open to get cool air. The two bath towels had stain on them and we had to get towels exchanged but took a while. Public toilet near front desk was dirty. Stain on sofa near breakfast area and breakfast area was dirty. We have stayed at other Ibis hotels and this one is by far the worse one. We do not recommend this Ibis budget Sydney Airport.

The rooms DO NOT look like the pictures. They are extremely worn and old. The television did not work in our room and quite honestly we were horrified by the price vs what we got. The walls were marked all over, carpets need replacing the bathroom was gross.

We had hoped for breakfast but no one could tell us when breakfast was… we went down at 9.30 to told it was finished.

There are a couple of hair dryers for the whole building which funnily enough we couldn’t access as they were being used by other people.

We were honestly horrified by the price of the room vs what we actually got. Shame on your Ibis!!

Yes the room was extremely clean but the best of all were the incredibly comfortable beds....just divine!!! The room was kind of cramped but we lacked for nothing...everything we needed was packed into tidy, efficient places.

The hotel was very quiet and soundproof (especially from the jet activity outside) and any traffic in the hallways.

The buffet breakfast (free with our booking) was fabulous.

Special thanks to Manju and Tawsif. In particular Manju, who was the person that we mainly dealt with, remained efficient and professional, always with a radiant smile. Manju keep working your magic!!

We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants great value for the money and is so close to the airport.

LOVED the view from my room, the sunsets were so pretty. Overall, everything you could need. Outlets close to the bed, comfy bed, control of A/C, nice shower, good counter space, insanely good room darkening shades and ample desk space. The one thing that brought the quality down was all of the dents in the wall. But other than that, would certainly stay here again.

The price could drop for a start to reflect the room being basic of the basic - and no functioning fridge. Last one was full of fungus. Then a shuttle bus is now $12. Also if caring train from Central, immediately your fare hits $22. S a cheap $130 becomes an expensive stay.

Staff were not particularly helpful, firstly I had to prove I had paid for the room already, surely they have record of this themselves. Secondly after walking to almost the other side of the hotel with luggage, the room key didn’t work. The room wasn’t particularly clean but was just about acceptable. At the end of the day it was very cheap but I wouldn’t have expected poor staff and dirtiness.

Due to our flight being cancelled at last minute, we then had to look for a room near to the airport.
Price was cheap for 1 night and it was 5 mins from airport. Rooms are basic but clean and it's all you need to get your head down . We went next door to the Mantra for drinks and breakfast the next morning. There is a McDonald's, Krispy Creme around the corner also . We booked the shuttle bus for the Sunday morning cost us $12 dollars each definitely worth it . Recommend if flying out early to stay here . Staff are very good too .

The room key wasn’t working properly. I had to try several times to open the door. I asked for a baby cot. They confirmed while booking that it will be provided but it wasn’t. I requested for a taxi with baby seat to the airport. They said they will arrange it and it wasn’t properly arranged. A cab arrived at 4am and they don’t know whether it is the correct one. They told me go and stand outside and you will see a big car. It was raining. I didn’t have any other option so I waited for few minutes and went on the cab with the baby that came if not I will miss my flight. Overall a terrible experience.

the hotel was wonderful! Nice, clean room and friendly staff. We only stayed for one night, and so didn't use or request any amenities. i would add though that although the location is \"near the airport\" if you're arriving from the international side, you will need to get a taxi/uber here as the walk cannot be done (google says it would take an hour!!, likely because you cannot just walk through the airport from the international side like this)

The room was poorly equipped to the bones: one trash basket shared by the bathroom and the living room. One bottle of 3-in-1 fluid for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Besides 4 not-too-clean-looking large towels, there was only one extra medium size towel for 4 people. The worst of this \"budget\" hotel is not how cheap they were, it was the security. They allowed the customers to put their own luggages into the storage room because they were \"too busy\". Even though there was a camera pointing towards the storage door, who knows someone would look into your bag when she/he was putting away their stuff there. When I questioned them about the risk of losing stuff in the storage, the staff told me to call the police. What kind of hotel was it? Actually when I was questioning about the security, another family seemed to lose a package in the storage room. Finally, they charged me extra $40 ($10 per person) for breakfast the second morning but I explained to them that our flight was 6:30 am. They refused to refund me. But when I booked with expedia, it said \"free breakfast\" included. Watch out this hidden charge. Am I dumb to order breakfast if I had a 6:30 am flight to catch? I won't recommened this \"budget\" hotel to anyone.
