The Song Hotel Redfern is a funky boutique bed and breakfast hotel near Prince Alfred Park, Sydney University, Broadway, and Central Station. It's an ideal base for exploring the hip suburbs of Surry Hills, Newtown, and Glebe, with their diverse array of cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and shops.
While the rooms are compact, they are designed for comfort and feature modern interiors. A valid photo ID and credit card are required at check-in.
Credit card surcharges apply to all credit card payments: 1. 5% for Visa, Mastercard, and Union Pay, and 1.
3% for American Express, JCB, and Diners Club. These surcharges are non-refundable.
There is no surcharge for EFTPOS cards. The hotel does not accept cash payments.

We just finished our fabulous stay. The room was spotless and we so appreciated the VIP welcome fruit platter! The grounds are clean, workers are friendly and very helpful, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the hot springs and loved venturing to a couple of the Waterfalls. We did an all day adventure tour and had an amazing time tubing down the river, followed by ziplining through the canyon.
Our only complaint was at dinner our first night we waited just under one hour to receive our food. It was delicious, just wished we didn’t have to wait so long. We ate at the bar the following night and food came quickly.

We stayed in the hotel just one night and that was enough to see everything, but if you want to do more activities like rafting, zipline, or horseback riding I would stay for more days. The nature is all around the property, beautiful exotic gardens and lots of animals to spot. You need to try their products for hair that’s coms from their spa, hands down. I wish they had online shop I would be their regular customer.

This was a beautiful and very peaceful property. The foliage, vegetation, hummingbirds, and butterflies were extraordinary. Rooms were comfortable and just what you'd expect at an ecolodge. Adventures were top notch. It was enjoyable hiking to the hot springs and waterfalls. We had a blast on the horseback tour and white water tubing adventures.

A fantastic place to spend a night, we wish we had stayed for two or three to spend more time exploring. The staff are incredibly helpful and there is so much to explore on foot, by bike/horseback, and by car. We had an amazing trip with our kids and hope to come back again soon!

The hotel was close to many different activities such as hikes to waterfalls, national park, eco adventures, etc. The buffet was very tasty along with the other dinner meals we had. Rooms were a little out dated and the walls were thin, but nonetheless a nice presentation. Pillows were a little thick and the bed was decent.

We enjoyed our stay at Hacienda Guachipellin. It was a great value for the price and had wonderful amenities. We thought the staff was a little inattentive and the restaurant was bland at best. The tours were a blast but a little disorganized. Definitely do the tubing which was super fun.

Amazing resort! It offers many different activities from horseback riding and hiking to waterfalls to hot springs and spa treatments. The environment is like an upscale ranch, rooms are spacious and ofter garden patio area and views of the surrounding forest, with many birds fluttering around. Nice big breakfast buffet, lots of seating and dining options.

The Hacienda is an amazing place to stay for a family vacation. The property itself is beautiful, and the staff are so warm and inviting. Our family particularly loved the pool area, which has lots of seating for relaxation, a mountain view, and a cafe adjacent from it. The room that we stayed in was close to the pool area, which was a very nice convenience. Additionally, the selection of food is also wide and delicious. As vegetarians, we often struggle to find suitable options for our diet, but the staff were accommodating with meeting our needs. A special thank you to Edwin at the cafe and Mendiola and David at the Hacienda restaurant for ensuring that we always enjoyed our food and stay!

Our stay was great. The property is beautiful. Service friendly and helpful. One area of improvement would be the free shuttle - it needs to be updated. It was an old school bus and a very long bumpy ride to attractions. I did appreciate that the adventure centre could arrange for private cars but it costed additional $15usd to get to each place on the property or national park (then $15 usd back).

Charming, beautiful grounds, close to the volcano, waterfalls, hot springs, pretty pool area with volcano views. Drawbacks were that it was remote enough to make it hard to dine elsewhere and even though all of the food is grown and cooked on the grounds, we really liked some dishes and really didn’t prefer others.

This was the final leg of our trip to Northern West Costa Rica. It was nice to settle down at Hacienda Guachepelin knowing we could just stay put for a bit. The Hotel is right next to the entry to Ricón de la Vieja National Park. It is on extensive grounds and has beautiful views and many activities including tubing, horseback riding, zip-lining, hiking and relaxing in hot springs and waterfalls. We took an easy guided horse back ride to La Oropendola Waterfall which is an impressive 25 meters. We also visited the hot springs, but were less impressed, the pools were somewhat murky and too hot for the day so we did not stay long. We took a short hike to additional waterfalls near the hot springs, which was nice. Breakfast was included in our stay which was good and appreciated. We also had dinner at the main restaurant which was fine. Our hotel room was basic but very comfortable.

Ranch-lile setting on edge of Vincon de la Vieja park. Pool is small but nice - great view of volcano. Room with 2 king beds was huge and clean. Would have liked more towels. Air conditioning was powerful. Not supposed to out toilet paper in toilet. Saw a ton of awesome birds off our back porch. Unfortunately, the staff building was behind us so we had to listen to their tv/radio.
Food was passable at best. Staff service at meals was ok. Before you book one of their adventure tours, ask for details. We thought wed signed up for a driving tour of local waterfalls. The guide didn't mention that we'd be crossing 3 rivers barefoot, or that we'd be walking 6 miles on rough terrain in 95 degree weather. And that is ending our tour quite early because we were exhausted. When we asked him about the rest of the tour, he grossly downplayed the distance/time remaining. This may be right up your alley - just be clear on the specifocs because their website description wasn't accurate in our case.

The trails are real singletrack mountain biking trails. We went out for 3 hours and barely covered a quarter of the terrain. The waterfalls on the grounds are amazing. The variety of birds was amazing! It's best to have a car here because the best waterfall and the hot springs are a drive away. Hotel Guachipelin is an incredible place. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and so well taken care of. The views from the hotel were amazing. We enjoyed hiking the grounds to see the waterfall that is on the property. We also enjoyed our guided hike of Las Pailas which we booked through the hotel. It’s a very quiet area and you have walking access to easy trails and just a short drive to other spots like the national park (fee required). The Oropendola waterfall was free to access with your hotel stay - highly recommend, short drive. The hot springs is also included in your stay which is a must. We took the latest free shuttle bus over (5:30PM) because we didn’t want to drive in the dark and it was perfect - there was nobody there. Free breakfast was wonderful, enjoyed the food and fresh fruits. They have three restaurants onsite which was good but pricey. There’s nothing else in the area for dining options and the resort is quite secluded so I guess that’s a factor. The rooms were clean, nothing fancy, felt like I was staying in an older cottage. We saw a lot of different species of birds and monkeys in the national park, it was incredible. I would recommend this property if you want to check out the national park and want easy access

Beautiful property in a great area. I love birding in the area. The hot springs are also really nice and the Simbiosis Spa is fantastic.
Keep in mind you have to drive to get from the rooms to the hot springs and a lot of the trails, so it’s nice to have a rental car. You can get up there from LIR in a 2wd vehicle, but the pace is slow. All roads in Costa Rica need improvement, that’s just the way it is.
Our only complaint this time was the very long wait for our food at dinner one night. Something was off. Others got their food first even though they arrived a good half hour after we did. So it goes, not a major deal. The food is very good

This place was amazing!! We did all of the waterfall hikes, and they were a highlight of the trip. This was our favorite lodging of the 3 places we stayed during our 11 days in Costa Rica. The trails are well maintained and we’re all doable for our 5 year old daughter. The hot springs are also beautiful and so relaxing. The Canopy bar was our favorite restaurant. Reserved this property strictly for the gluten free dining options. The rest was a wonderful surprise! The hiking and waterfalls were amazing. The hot springs and mud bath were a relaxing treat. We paid extra for the zip line and river tubing which was the highlight of our trip. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely recommend! Just wish there were some nighttime activities or entertainment.
