The hotel was perfect, much nicer than expected and a great location for my nephew and his young son to get out and explore Sydney. The room was spacious and quiet even though it was very close to Broadway and transport.
The interiors were smart and the timber beams and columns added lots of character.

The location is 20 minutes walk from the nearest train station (central station), 15 minutes walk to the popular Hay Market, and few minutes walk to Broadway Mall. The reception staff is attentive, friendly and efficient. The room is big with full kitchen and washer & dryer. It looks like newly remodeled and a very comfortable bed and pillows

Styling is outstanding and great location. However maintenance issues and cleanliness is something to be desired.

First room had a faulty toilet which was reported just after checkin. After returning to the room a few hours later it was unresolved. When back to reception and was told no technician was available. Reception didn’t offer any other options.

I requested to move to another room which was eventually agreed to.

Room was tidy, however pretty unclean. Dust and hair on bed and floor clearly not vacuumed.

Each morning we placed tidy room sign up which was done, however room never vacuumed or rubbish never removed.

The only down side was limited parking space to unload our bags.

The email communication is consistent and very responsive.

Excellent location, quiet neighborhood but still close to Broadway shopping Mall, Hays Market, Darling Harbor, fish market and more. In the mall, about 8 mins walk, you get 3 supermarkets (Aldi, Coles, Harris) and Kmart, Target for essentials things.
So many restaurants and good places to eat within walking distance. Bus stops (5mins walk) nearby and get an Opal card at Coles and off to everywhere in Sydney.

There’s a small park with play structure near the hotel for kids to enjoy. We walked 20 mins to Darling Harbor playground for our kids to vent off energy. A must do if your have little ones.

The hotel itself is has a unique modern twist of using industrial materials and wood materials for the decor. For example, cement flooring and exposed wooden beams and brick walls. Very chic lobby area.

Staff is super friendly, wife gets a cup of joe every morning at the reception desk. They have drinks happy hours. Kids love the free mentos candy bowl. It was raining for two full days and they loaned us umbrella. We couldn’t get a late checkout but they hold our luggages in the back room until we are ready to leave for airport. Very accommodating our needs.

The room is spacious, huge kitchen. washing/dryer machine in the unit. Comfortable bed. Quiet and clean.

For American tourists, the climate control in the room was excellent, it has a unique rustic, but modern appeal, exposed ceilings for an architectural difference, a full kitchen, complete with gas, stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and freezer. There’s really no need to do anything but go have fun and then come back and eat and frolick

Stayed for a month, apartment is a good size with benefit of washing machine and dryer. Only downside is the limited storage in bedroom for such a long stay. Broadway shopping centre is 5 min walk with a large Coles which is open till late every day. A few restaurants/takeaways eg. Nando’s . 15 mins walk to Paddy’s Market or to central station , so location is good for access to CBD, Local pub The Glebe has two for one on meals on a Tuesday night on bar food which makes it cheap, atmosphere in pub is good no matter what day .
Would recommend staying here and would consider it for future visits.

We loved our short 4 night stay after coming back from overseas and before heading home. Greeting and service late Saturday night after our flight was relaxed and cheerful and so welcoming. Our room was clean and modern, great value for 2 adults and 2 children with enough space to spread out. We were also pleasantly surprised to have housekeeping every second day. Location excellent. We managed to get parking on the street on most nights. Overall service exceptional thank you.

The hotel could be really exceptional if they had few more room amenities—more towels, towel racks (I had to hang my bath towel in the living room) and more glasses—there were only two, no large bowl for salad or pasta, despite quite a nice kitchen. strange coat rack (where we hung one of our towels) and a entry table would have been great for keys etc instead the table became cluttered

This is a great spot to stay in Sydney. It is close to all of the transportation available is Sydney, which is extensive. There are great local coffee shops and many food options. Also a nearby mall with many stores and food places.

The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is very attentive to your needs. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

The reception was always very helpful. Joanna and Joe very friendly and professional. Other staff too were helpful when Joanna and Joe were not there.
Coffee was really good and nice searing area.
The room was brilliant with lovely balcony to chill out and sit. Room was large and had all amenities such as washer , microwave and nice clean kitchenette. Bed was large and very comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone . Transport links were really good

Had a great stay with our toddler. Room was clean and airy, air conditioning worked well, though we weren't keen on the concrete floor. The staff were friendly and responsive when we had queries or needed changes (high chair, cot wasn't in the room when we arrived). Surrounding area was very nice - some good coffee and food options, only five minutes from Broadway shopping centre and an easy walk to Darling Harbour.

Not what I hoped for

Generally was very good, decent location, quiet and nice rooms but first room we had air con didn't work, we told desk and they said would get maintenance out, next day still faulty so they offered us an alternative room, which was an upgrade because it had a balcony. The room was much smaller so no upgrade really. We had to move everything which was very annoying. At least it was cool. Staff on desk tried to help but couldn't really do. Much. Would I stay again, no not really as quite disappointed.

The service was terrible with room cheap and poorly maintained. Reception was tardy, abrupt and obviously not interested in being there. The worst room I have had in decades where cable laying was performed outside of my room for 12 hours overnight and reception did not even inform me and gave me the room directly outside. Could not change room as noise commenced after 11pm when reception closed. Other guests remarked on check in the poor service so should have cancelled then and gone somewhere else. Avoid.

I got off to a rough start with the property because I arrived late due to a plane cancellation. There was an intercom at the front that was supposed to connect me with an agent that would help me. The agent was not helpful. He kept asking me if I saw a key box, which I did not. After several agitating minutes, I realized that the key box was INSIDE the locked glass doors and I needed the agent to give me the key box code BEFORE I entered the glass door and was cut off from communication with hm. Anyway, the place is GREAT with a comfy bed, tv area, full kitchen and washer and dryer. It has an urban loft feel and is very comfy. The only caveat I have is that if you are unlucky enough to be underneath someone who is moving furniture around, it is very noisy. But if not, it is the perfect place.

The rooms were great and well priced. We got by with on street free parking at night and on weekends. My only about our stay is that the desk is not operational at all times even during regular business hours there were two times when I waited over 10 minutes for someone to appear at the desk. They operate on a very slim staff.

It was wonderful, however I felt cold inside the room despite not having the aircon on. I am very sensitive to air conditioning. The room is well ventilated but it wasn’t warm enough for me. The bed was comfortable, a very spacious studio as I had to work on the desk. The decor was ok but could add a bit of warm tone elements and accents.

Overall, the place was comfortable. I just didn’t like the feeling of being cold inside the room even though I turned off the AC the entire times. Must be the internal AC the hotel has in the building that makes the room cold.

Had pleasant stay for 3 nights at Veriu Broadway. Special thank you to their front staff Roy for going the extra miles. Arrived around 8am and he made it possible for me to check in early, which I truly appreciated specially after an over night flight with no sleep. I then left my phone charger after the checkout. Called the hotel, it was Roy at the front desk. He called back to confirm they have it and they would keep it till I can pick it up.

Great location, walking distance to Broadway shopping centre and a short bus ride to the city.

They have a partnership with local gym as well, which is handy.

We enjoyed our stay in the penthouse suite at Veriu Broadway. It was great having the patio to sit and enjoy our coffee in the morning.
Close to shops and grocery stores so we were able to get groceries and have some meals in our suite. We had a car for a couple days and were pleased to find some free street parking a couple blocks away on Glebe st and avoided paying the high parking fee. The carpet in our suite and the walls were a bit worn but we definitely enjoyed our stay.

The air condition doesnt always work and when it does, it’s not cool enough. TV in living area did not work. When inquired with front desk, they informed us that we can reset the AC and TV ourselves but turning the switch in the fuse box in the room. This is rather uncommon in the U.S. we do like that the washer and dryer was in the room. Bed was comfortable and room is clean.

There is a lot to like about this property. Modern, well equipped room, close to main road with all that it offers including easy public tranport but far enough away to be quiet. However a couple of small concerns - the bed, while comfortable was very soft so if this is not to your liking then best check with management if all rooms are the same. The outside noise from adjoining spaces was also quite obvious with running water and people in stairs/passages clearly heard. The tvs also have bright (off) lights that shine directly at the bed that we covered over on the second night. Fantastic kitchenette and washing facilities and loved the tiled floor with just carpet under the bed and lounge. Much to like about this location.

한국인 리뷰가 별로없어서 걱정했는데 너무 좋습니다. 번화가랑 거리가 있다고 생각 할 수있지만 주변에 2분거리에 큰 마트(브로드웨이 시드니안에 콜스있음!!)도 있고 10분정도 걸어가면 울월스도 있습니다. 시드니 대학교도 가까우니 위치도 크게 나쁘다는 생각은 안듭니다. 위치 말고 단점을 굳이 이야기하자면 수건을 하루에 2장(2인 숙박했음) 밖에 안주고 주말에는 청소를 안해주었지만 직원에게 요청하면 수건은 무료로 넉넉히 제공해주십니다. 주방있고 넓어서 쾌적한 방에서 저렴하게 묵고가게되어 너무 좋았습니다.

Nice stay in the loft suite. Wish the balcony had actual furniture but I stayed during winter so I wasn’t able planning on being out there long as is. The shower doesn’t have a door so some water runs out, but there are multiple drains. Found it very spacious, had a well stocked kitchen, helpful housekeeping, & my Uber Eats orders and car pickups were always well received. Enjoyed the quietness of the hotel compared to some other Veriu properties. Would definitely return!

As a last minute booking, arriving here was just the next best thing for me. Booked a junior suite which was the perfect size for me as a solo traveler. However perfect for just a couple as well. I absolutely loved it here so much from the awesome welcoming from the ladies and Simone the best host on Happy Hour. The room decor was beautifully placed & the small kitchenette/washer & dryer! Top it off. House keeping were amazing too checking in to see if I needed extra towels.

My only down side, will have to be the bathroom. With bathroom tiles in an open space shower. It may pay to have some floor grips into the tiles, so no one slips and hurts themself. Very slippery with soaping water if you’re not careful.

This place is central for all your needs, supermarket/cafes & mall literally around the corner. (2min walk)

If you’re more of a site seeing type of person, in an Uber to Opera house it’s 15mins in no traffic to the airport 25-30mins .

The location was good, easy enough to get around. I wouldn’t recommend having a car as no parking options at the hotel and broadway parking not too easy to find more than 1 hour free.

Hotel was nice, but issues with the room I had booked. No communication besides when we went to check in they then advised us we were being upgraded, to find that the room upgraded to was not suitable for 3 people. They did find a resolution and moved to a different room but not again what we wanted especially with a child.

Tv in room would not turn off properly but if you follow the guide and turn off the power at the main switch on the kitchen should resolve it.

Was ok, not sure I would stay again.

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Location was superb - close to Broadway Shopping centre as well as bus stop. The lack of complimentary parking on-site was not an issue for us as we did not have a car.
The room was spacious with incredibly comfortable bedding. The kitchenette was fully equipped for light cooking. The Nespresso machine was definitely an icing on the cake!
Very happy with the experience at the hotel. Also, loved the pleasant fragrance that greeted us in the lobby.

Nice location and a good amount of space. Kitchen was pretty minimally equipped (a single fork?), but enough for me. The bathroom was strange: no barrier around the shower (just a drain in the floor); okay, fine, but the shower head (handheld) was attached to the wall in such a way that the water would literally hit the other wall unless you carefully placed you body in its way at all time, making the entire bathroom floor wet. Not a deal-breaker by any stretch, just not well thought out. I would definitely not rule it out for future visits.

The longer you stay, the worse service you get. We stayed for over a week. We were told that there would be a full cleaning every three days and a light cleaning for the rest of the days. We never had a full cleaning and only had the light cleaning a few times, and had to continually request it. Non-refundable payment up front means that management can ignore your issues and you have no options. Balcony furniture is horrible and some rooms lack furniture, so you feel you are in an empty room. Choose another accommodation if you can.

We stayed at this property as a group of adults and the quad suite was perfect. As well as being affordable, it was spacious and comfortable so there was room to relax and decompress. It was close to the very cute Kook cafe which we discovered for morning coffee and close to broadway mall and bus routes for supplies and easy travel

Had everything you would need for a long stay (cooking, washing, drying all easily facilitated). Very spacious for 2 pax. Bed’s on the soft side! Location’s great too, near Broadway Shopping Centre (Coles, bubble tea etc) and a fantastic breakfast place (Stitch Coffee). Would definitely book again!

Very bad experience. I booked a deluxe one bedroom. Our room looked nothing like the floor plan or photos. No kitchen just a little bar. Only seating for 2 people, cutlery and plates only for 2 when we booked and paid for 4. When I asked twice to get a room the same as the one we booked they said it’s not possible. When a room next door that was the floor plan and size of the one we booked came up they refused to change us saying it didn’t have a sofa bed. They flat out refused to help us. It was far too small and obviously not for 4 people. We have bruises on our calves from running into coffee table as there was no room to walk around sofa bed. We couldn’t get into fridge due to sofa and set up of fridge door. We couldn’t close the door to bedroom as that then cut off air conditioning. It was like a studio. It was not the room we paid extra for. I am very disappointed in both Expedia and veriu for making us pay for a room we didn’t get. Very bad experience. The hotel staff clearly didn’t want to help or fix the issue. Would not recommend to anyone. It would have probably worked out if we got the room we paid for and booked. I believe this to be a false advertising and that we got scammed. We should not have been charged for a deluxe one bedroom.

Communication with this hotel is terrible.
Immediately upon booking, I communicated with the hotel that I would be spending 4 nights in the hotel alone, and requested an additional bed for the last 3 nights. They responded to say that the received the information and would modify my reservation. However, I was charged for extra people for the entirety of my stay (well over $300 too much). I asked them to modify this based on our previous exchanges and they said that I should have modified the reservation through Expedia instead of them, because they are unable to change the reservation or charges. However, they had indicated in our exchanged messages that they had modified the reservation. I have now discussed the situation with Expedia, which contacted the hotel twice because it is the hotel that managed the payment, so Expedia can do nothing. The hotel is unwilling to do anything to address the situation.
Moreover, before my arrival, I contacted them for late check in information and was told that someone would be at the front desk. I asked for the information anyhow (and it was provided), which was good because the front desk was closed upon my arrival (30 minutes prior to the time they told me it would close).
The hotel itself is good, the communication, however, is awful.

Beautiful loft space to stay in Sydney with a very comfortable bed and living space. Great location and building for a more quiet stay than a traditional hotel. While there is a kitchen, the kitchenware is quite limited to be able to cook home made meals, it is really more to enable take out.

Very friendly & efficient customer service. Located in a great spot - quiet but not far from the city. The room was nicer than we expected - a bit of an edgy industrial feel to the decor. Comfortable & had everything we needed. Block out curtains were great for a sleep in!
