Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom was quite dark and hairdryer wire very short so was unable to use mirror at same time! Room had all the amenities needed. Location of hotel was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

The staff were efficient and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. Everything would have been perfect except there was light pollution: 1) a bathroom window without blinds combined with a see-through bathroom door meant the door glowed, and 2) the backlights of the two wall panels (air con and room status) cannot be turned off.

I built a tower of pillows to cover the panels, which helped, but I couldn't darken the bathroom door.

Rooms were very dirty, especially the bathroom & noisy from the traffic as it backs onto the main road & cars going by all night. They also never made up my room. A 4 night stay and full bins, dirty towels & no toilet paper so had to go get some myself. The shampoo and conditioner was very poor quality too. Wasn’t impressed especially for the price.

The location is excellent. It is close to everything. There are lots of activities, lots of restaurants and shops. We were able to walk around the neighbourhood and enjoyed ourselves. The staff is friendly. The room is big. The breakfast buffet was good.

However, the bathroom had an occasional sewer smell and some mould in the grout. Otherwise a flawless experience near everything. I would stay again.

Thank you for such a memorable stay. The team arranged for my daughter and I to stay in an accessible room due to her leg injury and the use of a wheelchair without me having to request it. We loved our 2 night stay and will definitely be back. Reception staff also arranged for a lovely birthday card to be left in the room for my daughter, which was such a thoughtful touch. Staff were able to give great recommendations for things to do and places to eat nearby.

We will definitely back for our next staycation!

Within a minute walk from the hotel, you get a plethora of choices in terms of food. A few minutes from Chinatown and Paddy's Market, yet there is open space and quietness that makes the hotel very unique. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The place was well located in the heart of most of all attractions. We love walking, so every important landmarks are almost all reachable by foots.
And we are close to Chinatown, Thai town, Korean town and even we can walk to the circular bay and the Opera House. Wonderful!!

So glad we stayed here. The location was perfect for our requirements, so many restaurants and eateries, a short stroll to Paddy's Market and walking distance to Darling Harbour, museums and parks.
All of the staff were great, especially Asma, whom we dealt with the most, cheerful, knowledgeable and very helpful.

The room space was quite enough for a single person. The water pressure in the bathroom was good. Internet connection via WiFi was convenient.

However, the pool is very cold for indoor pool, you can really enjoy. The window trim has water damaged for a while and my 6years old almost slide his fingers. The bathroom didn’t get refilled with toothpaste, toothbrushes or slippers. Have to request when you check in (the receptionist said)

We had a beautiful view of the Chinese Friendship Gardens from our room and also, as it turns out, the NYE fireworks at Darling Harbour. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the location was ideal in getting to pretty much anywhere in the CBD by either walking or catching either of the tram lines (L1 or L3) which were both a 5 minute stroll away. We are planning our next trip to Sydney in the not too distant future and it will include another stay at the Novotel Darling Square.
