It was hard for me to stay since I was disabled. There was no help getting my suitcases to my room, and they originally told me when I was going to leave that they would have no help with that either, but somebody didn’t come up and help me which was a blessing. The area around the hotel is very interesting and most of the Customer Service. People were very nice but my room in the bathroom appeared to have some mold in the tiles. It was an older room, older hotel, and guess I should’ve expected it for what I paid.

This hotel is close to George St, therefore close to the light rail route. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly, they arranged a shuttle to the airport for us at a cost of only $20 each. There are numerous dining options in close proximity. We will stay here again next time we are in Sydney.

The shower in the bathroom had a leak in the floor pan, resulting in the carpet getting wet outside the bathroom. The doorframe into the bathroom was mouldy. The toilet was located in a tight corner, making it tricky to use. The bedroom was a bit on the small side, with access to the queen bed from only one side. The rooms had poor sound insulation, where it sounded like the adjoining building was a nightclub from my room - with music not ending until after midnight. In my friends room, she could hear other people showering and flushing the toilets. The staff were friendly, but that can only go so far.

Room was listed at around $400, discounted from $900+

My experience with the room was that it was very clean, but small, no natural light. Window faced a small dark air conditioning unit room of some kind?

The staff were very friendly and helpful in my limited interaction with them.

My score is based purely on the fact that I feel that this room is not worth $900 and the discount price feels like a false advertisement to lure in unsuspecting customers.

Even $400 is a stretch but it's almost acceptable because of the location in Sydney CBD.

When we arrived, the staff member serving us volunteered helpful information to another guest who had just arrived, but did not provide the same information to us. This felt inconsistent and unprofessional.

The room itself is one of the smallest we have ever stayed in during our many years of travel. There is no space to place luggage, the wardrobe is extremely narrow with barely enough room to hang clothes, and there is no safe provided in the room.

To make matters worse, water was seeping onto the bathroom floor and into the room. Staff had to use towels to soak up the water, which was inconvenient and unacceptable for a guest room.

Would stay again.

Fantastic location, really lovely and friendly staff and quiet rooms. The room had good Aircon and the shower was great. Very good price for the accomodation. Loads of places for breakfast nearby so need to do breakfast included. Not a romantic couples hotel but perfect for exploring Sydney. Next time we're in Sydney, we'll be booking here!

The property was very central to where we needed to be. The rooms are outdated and could do with a spruce especially to be competitive in that area. Bedding was comfortable enough. We could not program the TVs which pretty much rendered them useless. Travelling with an older parent he wanted to watch some TV when back in the room but he couldn’t. The staff did provide a bottle of wine and some chocolates but the TV would have been more useful. Staff were pleasant and check in and out was easy. Complimentary water was in the room. No parking available but there are options close by. Suitable for overnight.

Honestly. Not impressed. The room was tiny, almost as big as the bathroom and my side of the bed was against a wall. At 50 years old, it’s important to be able to easily get out of bed to go to the toilet. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Located in the middle of all the action! Room (suite) was on the small side with narrow walk paths and no AC as it was turned off centrally (winter in AUS) so had to have a room fan to cool the rooms. Walkable to all the attractions, with no safety concerns.

I think the carpets need some redoing out of the room towards the lifts due to an old musky smell otherwise would totally recommend very convenient close to public transport and shops!

The first room we were offered stunk of damp so changed to a much nicer room. Still very small rooms. Ok for the money. The foyer smells of cigarettes but they provide free water, tea and there’s a microwave if you want to heat something up. Very central to where we needed to be.

The hotel’s location was very convenient — just a short walk from Town Hall Station, and easy to get to places like Chinatown and Darling Harbour. It was located at the corner of the main street where they were many dining options to choose from.

Staff were friendly when approached and offered help readily.

However, the room was a bit small as it was difficult to open 2 large luggages within the room. I had to open mind in the narrow corridor in the room. The design was also a bit dated.

Otherwise, still a good stay in view of the location and price.
