Great location, but several issues detracted from my stay. When I checked in, the staff told me they had run out of toothbrushes and that replacements wouldn’t arrive for another five days. I also felt uncomfortable when they tried to sell me timeshare packages, maybe I got targeted for it because I was travelling alone.
The most unacceptable problem was the drilling noise from the room above before 8 am. When I phoned reception, the receptionist insisted there was no drilling and said maintenance would look into it later. The noise had stopped after the called. By the time the maintenance worker knocked on my door at 9:30 am just after I had managed to fall back asleep.
I understand that maintenance is necessary, but please don’t start at 8 am, pretend you don’t know about it, and then wake guests again to “check” their room when the problem clearly isn’t there.

Great location,5min walk to Museum u-ground station and nearby shopping centre. Fast check in and out.adequate lifts.Unit clean and comfortable, included kitchenette ,TVs in both sitting room and bedroom. Large sliding doors to very small outside balcony. plenty of space. On checkout was able to leave suitcases in cloakroom. Will stay here on future visits to Sydney.

The room needs to be better designed - for instance, the TV should face a chair, not the bed; the toilet roll was at an impossible angle if you are seated on the toilet. I particularly liked the empty 'fridge, and the provision of a microwave oven - good idea !

We are happy to agree with others who have rated the Wyndham as excellent. Our suite was very clean and well appointed with quality linen on the comfortable double bed, quality towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea. The TV and WiFi were both good. There are supermarkets within 10 minute walk so you can buy your food to prepare at the suite and save big money by skipping on the pricey restaurants in CBD Sydney. If you wish to stay closer to the harbour, be prepared to pay double what you pay at Wyndham.

Convenient for one night
Just a single night's stay while waiting for our flight back to San Francisco. We took the airport train in and got off at Monument station. The hotel was just a block away. We were early for check-in but were able to leave our luggage. There was an overly aggressive woman (not at reception) who promptly asked for our names. Perhaps she thought we were on the property's time-share plan (which we were not.) Overall, the hotel seemed a bit dated. We got a room on the first floor - so no view to speak of. There was gym next door, but did not use it. Our room had a small fridge, and a kettle for coffee/tea. Convenience store downstairs was handy. Location was convenient for Surry Hills, but is several blocks away from the main shopping center.

Our three night stay at Wyndham Sydney Suites was Awesome!! The hotel was was very attractive, modern and very clean / presentable. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and very personable, respectful and always smiling. Our room was clean and well appointed with a luxuriously comfortable king size bed. The hotel was centrally located, so that we were ale to walk to just about everything - Paddy’s Markets, the Sydney Opera House, Museums, Shopping, the Harbour Front, etc. When we retired in the evening, although we could look out on the city through our window, the room was soundproofed well enough that there was no noise and we slept soundly without any noise interruptions. We recommend the Wyndham Sydney Suites to anybody looking for a great stay for a reasonable price. Fantastic.....we’ll be back!!

Once again Wyndham suites was our home away from home. With a do it yourself laundry and a well stocked kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. Their restaurant
however, left a lot to be desired. However, their central downtown location provided many other food choices. As long as they continue to provide such good services and prices we will happily continue to stay at this chain.

Basically last place standing to stay near business meetings. Obviously for longer term tourist stays. Over priced and very basic. But everything worked. Shower is small and toilet blocks access to sink in bathroom - which is obviously from these comments small. Good for those wanting to be near China Town and World Square end of town.

We were booked into the first floor and concerned at first that street noise would keep us up but the room was dead quiet. They have extra thick windows so you hardly can hear anything from outside.
The room was clean albeit small. On the other hand this is Sydney and the price was reasonable for such a great location.
Only issue was parking. There is no hotel parking and you have to use a public parkade. We rolled in on a busy Saturday night and had to circle around for a long time looking for a spot. Not fun.

Great Location
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel and I was very pleased with my decision.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you will need. The bathroom was surprisingly roomy with lovely thick bath towels. Breakfast in the café off the foyer was very nice and reasonably priced.
The only small issues were the inadequate provision of milk provided and my booking stated a king bed and valet parking for $30 but I was given a room with a queen bed and was told that the parking is $40. When these issues were bought to the attention of staff they kindly waived the parking fee.

Location was excellent. Internet was average at best. Steaming is impossible due to the low speed despite the advertised high speed. Shower temperature fluctuated mid stream which was frustrating and dangerous.

Nice hotel for short stay
Upon arriving at the hotel and walking into the reception area, the staff were very welcoming and kind. Me and my friends were greeted straight away and approached by a lovely lady - they stored our baggage untill our 2 pm checkin, everything was kept secure. We checked in later on an our room was clean and tidy, later that night we had a bit of trouble sleeping as it was very cold. We called room service as they had a receptionist on 24/7. One of the receptionists brought us up a portable heater and a few blankets to keep us warm. The room had heating however wasnt as strong but we went during a cold season so it was expected to be freezing. The customer service was great, the hotel was great and the location. Would go back as it was very affordable!

Getting to and from the hotel via train was easy, checking in and out was easy. Housekeeping had neglected to replenish tea/coffee in the room which was a minor irritation. We all like a cuppa first thing in the morning and I had to get dressed and go down to reception to get some milk and tea which was a bit irritating at the time. The room was very pokey but clean.

Great stay.. but blood-stained bed-sheet
I had a really great stay, up until I found an old blood stain on the inner bed-sheet the morning after my stay. It was located at the top left corner of the sheet, right under where one's face is when they go to sleep. Because the sheet is typically folded over at the top when a bed is made, it should have been extremely noticeable to any cleaning staff as they likely would have handled that area of the sheet directly.

The manager was understandably apologetic, but it seemed as though he just wanted to shut down the conversation as quickly as possible as there were other guests standing around. Good location and clean, comfortable room. Check in was a bit crazy with so many staff in one small area and One trying to have us attend a presentation for their timeshare program. People in the room next door were very loud but still slept quite well.

Great Motel in Sydney
Hotel was great value for money. Close to CBD, Central Station, Darling Harbour, China Town & Museum. An easy walk to areas of Sydney during the day but as a single woman not sure if I would feel 100 percent safe walking around by myself at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and clean and tidy. Would stay there again.

Really comfy 1 bedroom suite close ot Hyde Park
I really liked the setup of this room - small but efficient. The bathroom was actually a good size which was nice. The balcony was very narrow - I don't really think usable at all. There was a minor hiccup with the remote keyboard not working but this was easily fixed. The TV/internet setup was fairly handy.

We stayed in a 1Brm unit and paid a competitive rate for 5 nights through Wotif.
Museum train station is a close and easy walk. Buy an OPAL card online before visiting Sydney and use the magnificent, clean and timely public transport.
The room was well laid out for an odd shape but everything worked well. When we were looking for accommodation the kitchenette was a mandatory but we didn't end up cooking there because we were out playing tourist all the time. A Coles supermarket is a short walk away so in-house cooking is an option.
The bathroom is small but it works just fine.
The bed and pillows were better than those at home. Very comfy indeed.
The TV had all the free to air stations as well as a number of cable stations.
We were on the 6th floor and weren't affected by any road noise - I'm sure there was some but you'd have to listen for it to have anything to complain about. There was a sliding door that allowed you to let in some fresh air if you wanted it. The 'balcony' accessed through the sliding door wasn't designed for sitting but you could stand out there snugly.
The washer and dryer in the (communal) laundry on another floor worked well and were cheap to operate.
This accommodation is operated by a time-share company but you can stay as a normal (non-owner) patron. We did get offered a free breakfast by the concierge if we wanted to discuss the concept and it did take a few firm \"No thank yous\" to discourage her but our insistence was respected.

Wyndham Suites 11th Floor Wentworth Street Sydney
Staff were efficient,couldn't do enough to assist, with internet issue which was resolved quickly, storage of luggage for the day, paperwork, information. The room on 11th floor was v quiet on a Sunday evening yet noisy on the Monday and Monday nite. If you are getting over jetlag probably not. V central if you need to have trainline i.e. Central Station or Museum close by. Walking to Hyde Park and Gallery perfect. TV fine if that is what you need. Internet needed connecting initially but done swiftly. Linen clean fresh, extra pillows and blanket.. fridge, plunger, kitchenette...perfect for a business trip...if you just need to sleep, freshen up in between meetings. Great for VIVID and an overnite stay..

Very conveniently located apartment, close to Central, buses and a great variety of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The room had an excellent layout with good facilities and staff were always cheerful and helpful.

Great little gem - very comfortable and convenient
Booked in here last minute as all other options in the area were either booked out or very expensive. Out of a group of 12 we had scattered around hotels in the area as part of a conference group, I was the lucky one! This was one of the best stays I've had in the Sydney CBD. Wyndham Suites was extremely convenient, clean with good facilities, efficient staff and quick check in/out processes and the room was superbly comfortable and HUGE! And a [small] balcony that at least allowed access to fresh air was a real bonus. Whilst others in the group staying at better known brand hotels mumbled and grumbled at small and not so comfortable rooms, mine was nothing short of excellent, despite being at a lower cost. Highly recommended.
