Great location but the room needs a refurbishment. It would be nice to have basic amenities like slippers and toothbrush ready in the room.

It also needs more housekeeping staff during the weekend because we were told our room was still not ready at 3:30pm (check-in time was at 3pm, but luckily it was ready after a 10/15-minute wait). Most staff were friendly and helpful except for one lady at the reception- she needs to more smile.

This is our favourite hotel and we always start here when we're in Sydney. The staff are absolutely lovely and so thoughtful! I even had what I believe to be the best coffee I have had in my life so far, just yesterday at the Storehouse Restaurant.

The room was alright in places, however, it was quite aged as well. It felt like the living area and bedroom had been renovated but the bathroom was very dated. A couple of the lights flickered and the door stoppers were broken.
Despite this, the restaurant and bar were fantastic and rooftop pool was great.

Wonderful hotel in a great location with multiple breakfast areas nearby and a large option for asian cuisine a short walk away. Subway and buses are nearby to use your Opal card. Pool is small, but you got the whole Bondi Beach to go to.

The room was spacious (king bed + sofa bed). Upon arrival, the sofa bed wasn’t made and when we opened it the mattress had some food remnants on it. Overall room looked mediocre due to tired furniture and walls in the bathroom. Coffee machine with capsules and tea selection was great. The staff was very helpful. The hotel states its rooms are soundproof which is not exactly the case - but also not the worse.

This was my first time staying at Vibe, and I chose it because I really like the location near World Square and Hyde Park (with easy access to public transport and a Coles supermarket). I really enjoyed all the food and drinks we had from The Storehouse Restaurant & Bar (we had bar snacks, dinner and room service). The customer service we got from Harvey was exceptional - he is so friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was bigger than I was expecting (previous guest photos don’t do it justice - it’s a great space & the pool is lovely early morning and evening on hot summer days). The gym is a lot bigger than many hotel gyms. There were always plenty of pool/gym towels available which is not always the case at hotels. I was pleased with my room size and amenities, and the reception staff were always helpful. I found the room servicing a bit patchy, but I find that in almost every hotel these days (they don’t seem to ‘clean’ the bathroom or vacuum any more - rather they just drop off fresh towels and make the bed). The weirdest thing that happened was I asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, which arrived promptly, then the next morning the cleaner took it away again! And two of the nine days I didn’t get a handtowel or bathmat. So the room servicing is an area for improvement. But I would still stay here again - as overall experience was positive.

The only annoying thing was the sound of doors banging from before 7am. Not sure if it was staff or other guests, but a bit more sleep would have been great.

We arrived early and were told our room would be ready at 3pm. I paid in full for the 4 nights we had booked. We returned to the hotel at 4 to find there was no room for us! ....we'd already paid in full that morning.
We were put up in a different hotel that night and returned the next day. We were upgraded which was a nice gesture however i wonder why the room availability wasnt noticed when i paid in full in the morning.
The breakfast buffet was very poor quality. The hot items were not hot and many items ran out and we had to ask for more.
More dtaff in the breakfast room might help.

We paid quite a bit of money for a queen superior apartment because it was a special occasion. The spa bath didn’t work which we were so disappointed about and the air conditioning unit was loud so we turned it off through the night. We let the staff know but didn’t receive a discount or voucher. We do love the vibe and this was my 3rd time booking to stay there. Great food and lovely environment x

Vibe is one of my favourite hotels in Sydney. Location is quiet but you can be in Pitt & George St in minutes
Museum station is also short walk, making getting to the Harbour very quick. The size of the bathroom is more than decent for a hotel bathroom and plenty of room to shower and change and leave all your toiletries in. The staff are also lovely and accommodating.

Our room was really nice and spacious. The location of the hotel is excellent, as is the lobby area.

We needed a refund on the breakfast for the remainder of our stay as it wasn’t very good at all. Housekeeping could be better, it seemed they just made the bed and replaced a couple of things but didn’t actually clean (bathroom remained dirty throughout the stay) and didn’t always restock teas/coffees.

Had lunch at the storehouse and found it unnecessarily difficult and restrictive.

Rooms weren’t clean. Surfaces were dusty and there was mould in the bathroom coming from the tap. The breakfast was pretty bad, especially for the price. Limited and poor menu, very basic quality — like school camp food.
Asking for anything to be brought up to the room (amenities etc took forever and I often had to go down to get it in the end).

Underwhelming stay. The room was aged and had a very noisy air con system. The bathroom had several hairs in the shower and bath.

The staff were curteous but not warm or welcoming. I had to prompt for my comp bottle of wine.

Underwhelming compared to other hotels with a similar star rating and cost.

The bathroom accessories, i.e., the bath, shower head, taps, etc., are very old. The bath itself is very small and cramped, very uncomfortable for tall people (my height is 190 cm).
Not saying these are deal breakers, rather than a note for those who such things are important to them.

If you like sleeping on the equivalent of a wooden door then this is the place for you.
Also check the price of your parking (go to the parking station and put your ticket in the machine to see what the total cost is BEFORE you pay the hotel their “special reduced rate” which they have negotiated with the parking ppl. I paid $78 for 2 nights parking at the hotel reception but when I put my ticket in the machine at the parking station the amount owed was only $50.
Ensure that you ask for a regular room with a walk in shower - some rooms are still the old ones with the shower over the bathtub which can cause problems

Was a very average stay, for what we paid the room was very basic and the bathroom needed upgrading,we did have a view out onto the street but the windows were very dirty.Unfortunately our room was right across from the lift which meant you heard voices all through the night and early morning when people were leaving.There is also a hotel across the road that was playing live music on the Saturday night so you could hear that.
The people in the room next to us were extremely noisy, coming and going with the door banging and loud voices till 2am, we did ring reception to let them know.
The only real plus was that it was located near Museum Station and we could walk to the SCG.

The lobby/reception were lovely with complimentary cucumber water and there’s a nice bar near the elevators. The room was a bit snug but the beds were comfy. The location was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and night life.

Good hotel for the price, central location makes it easy to get around. A refurb would really improve it, the shower is in a bathtub and quite small which is uncomfortable for a tall person, some basic renovation would really lift the quality. Otherwise, its a good convenient option.
