Friendly and attentive staff. We did hear some music from adjacent venue which was not loud (and it was a Saturday night). Other than that it was a very quiet morning with nice block out blinds which resulted in a wonderful sleep in.

The only problem was the small fridge in the room was iced up and not cold. We advised the reception, who had a maintenance person come to have a look. The person replaced the fridge, but unfortunately that fridge did not get cold either. We advised the reception before leaving. Also the phone was not working, so we couldn't call reception.

Listing is deceiving. Pictures make this place look much nicer than reality. There is no airport shuttle even tho it says there is one (that’s why I booked it). Location was a little sketchy, but was close enough to nicer area (within 2 blocks). We only wanted breakfast one day, but they made us pay for both mornings we were there and both of us in the room had to pay. Lots of sirens the first night. Shower door didn’t close, so entire floor of bathroom got wet when we showered.

Other than that, room was adequate, clean and hotel was centrally located and reasonably priced. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Need improvement:

The breakfast buffet was alright, not much options.The gym facility was lacking. No free weights ( dumbbells) , which should be basic for a gym. The aircondition makes a loud wave like sound when on. Not too much of a problem at night as it can be turned off.

The stay was satisfactory until the garbage collection come at 4am and the garbage person was yelling, then there were loud revving of the garbage truck that lasted for 20min was really disturbing. We were in a room ending in ‘5’. Remote controls need new batteries and the AC was stuck on 16°c.

Al siguiente dia que llegamos el ascender estuvo malo casi todo el dia y debíamos esperar hasta 40 minutes para poder usarlo, no podiamos usar las escapers ya Que en cada pudo para salir de de Ella’s las puertas Esteban cerradas sue do impossible salir, en las escalas no hay ninguna señal para poder llegar a la recepción . Si hubiera pasado alguna emergencia no se podía salir. El desayuno dice que es a las 6:30 am y no estaba listo a la hora, muy regular el servicio

It is not the hotel’s fault, but the room was very noisy from the early evening until after 3 am due to loud music from a bar in an adjacent building. The amenities were not too bad, but after staying at multiple hotels of various levels over several weeks of travel, this was the only hotel that didn’t provide hand towels.

First impression - unappealing street frontage and check in area. Purchased superior king room and room given had an interconnecting door and we clearly heard next door conversation so requested and were given another acceptable room. Would not recommend this hotel unless to budget travellers. Check in did not advise of breakfast deal for guests that was shown in lift wall.

I have stayed at a number of hotels in Sydney whilst visiting family, and this is definitely one of the best in terms of comfort, cleanliness, value and location. It has everything you need, and the staff are really helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

You couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the rooms or the facilities and staff did an excellent job. Breakfast was a bit disjointed with lack of staff on duty at the weekend and so there was a lack of choice in areas such as bread and muffins and suchlike and the hot food was Luke warm to say the least but all very edible in a pleasant room and good value for money. I was surprised at how quiet the place felt on a Saturday night…very happy.

wifi internet is really sketchy and drops out which is super infuriating. AC mode cannot be changed by the visitor. AC is really loud. No desk space on which to work or use a laptop just a tiny gap between fridge and bench. Was cheap but maybe too cheap.

The breakfast, the food was cold as no lids to keep the food warm. The ham was yellow I watched the ham and it did not change for 3 days. also the oranges had mould on them, I mentioned to the staff about the mould and he could not understand me. Shower door could not open wide enough to get into the shower easy and I am not a big person.

Great location with lots of food options even late into the evening in the area. Hotel was clean and daily service was well done. Microwave was great addition. Chair was flimsy, not sure if it was mine or the design. Bathroom was clean and had the necessary amenities. Towels were clean and fluffy. Airconditioning is fixed to 21C which was okay once I cooled down. No laundry service or laundromat in the area so need keep this in mind. Probably best for a couple of days stay only. Didn't try the breakfast but they did offer pre-booked buffet.

Room was extremely basic, bathroom was smelly as had no fan so smelt damp constantly, floors didn’t look vacuumed even when we arrived or any day we were there. For the price and location it was good with supermarket and restaurants close by!
