Outside noise in the room was higher than other hotels I have stayed in. The floors could have been cleaner. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One the whole my stay was good.

Our room was clean and spacious with ample amenities including a well-equipped kitchenette. The room had plenty of storage options, a safe, desk, iron and ironing board and balcony, while the bathroom was also generous in size. Reception staff were friendly and helpful as were those in the breakfast dining area. Great location and an easy walk to Darling Harbour, public transport, scenic attractions, shopping and dining options. Would definitely recommend to others and look forward to staying here again on future visits.

Prompt and friendly check in, we were able to get an early check in which was great as we flew in 6am that morning.. hotel is in great location.. the room was well equipped for our needs and clean apart from the lounge had stained cushions, so we just turned them over.. we had our room refreshed daily with friendly staff who did a great job.. overall a great stay.

Room and staff were awesome. The room was comfortable, and many restaurants nearby. Lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the weather. Breakfast was delicious and worth purchasing. There is not a good spot for uber or taxi drop off and pickup in front of the hotel, as there is a dedicated bike lane and live traffic lanes beside it. Uber dropped us off further up the road on the opposite side.

위치는 좋았지만 방 청소가 아쉬웠어요. 새 수건이 없어서 여러번 요청해야 받을 수 있었습니다 침대 헤드에서도 오래된 먼지 냄새가 났어요… 도저히 못 참을 정도는 아니고 대체로 깔끔한 편이긴 했습니다 그리고 냉장고 안 물은 공짜가 아니거 유료니 조심하세요

Pool and hot tub had been listed as amenities but were closed. They offered the amenities at a sister hotel about one mile away. The bathroom sink did not drain well.

No towels available at the gym.

The front desk staffers were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was in an excellent location, really easy to get to key locations. Darling Harbour only a 10min walk. Circular key was 10mins to the light rail then a short 10min ride. Loads of restaurants and shopping in easy reach.
We had a one bedroom apartment with a roll away bed for our son. There was tons of space for us all. We had a great stay and really enjoyed the city.

Breakfast great! Location top notch, close to everything ( shops, restaurants, wharf to catch ferry, Sydney opera house, darling harbour bridge, Chinatown)! Housekeeping really good, they made our beds everyday!
Down side was the pool was closed for repair. This is school holiday, kids want to swim too.
Overall we definitely coming back.

The staff at concierge was very friendly and we were able to do an early check in, little did we realise we had been upgraded to another room (I didn’t know until I looked back at our booking). The room was amazing, clean and tidy and the bathroom was large with a shower big enough for two. Took us a while to get the air con how we wanted it but it was the best sleep we have had in a very long time. Comfy bed and amazing pillows. We will definitely be back!

Arrived early morning. There was free luggage storage and was given early check in by 12pm and late check out by 11:30pm. Would stay again.

Central Hotel with large well equipped rooms

Excellent hotel . 5 min walk to Darling Harbour . Round the corner to the tram to the harbour. The room itself was spacious and clean with great kitchen facilities , sofa and dining table. The bathroom was also large with toiletries supplied. The only thing that is missing is a bar in the hotel but to be honest there are lots of options in the location. The pool area was a bit grubby so we didnt use Would definitely recommend the hotel though and stay here again.

Close to the ICC (5-10 min walk). We had a wonderful stay and will definately return best sydney hotel i've been to in 2 years. Stayed for a week in a 2 bed room with family of four. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, decently equipped kitchen (would have liked a toaster), comfy beds and a great bathroom.

Location is fantastic in a bustling part of town. There are lots of eating options nearby and the world square shopping centre is a very short walk.

Public transport is 5 minutes walk away and gets you to circular quay for the Opera House and Bridge in 10 minutes

We booked this hotel last minute due to a flight cancellation and it was an absolute god send. So much so, that I will be staying again if I ever return to Sydney. The room (2 bedroom apartment) was beautifully renovated, so spacious and well appointed. After a long flight, I was so grateful to come back to our spacious, modern apartment and even more grateful for its full kitchen and 2 bathrooms.

The beds were comfortable, the shower pressure wonderful. The room amenities well thought out. The buffet breakfast was divine, and I highly recommend adding it to your stay.

My only suggestion is that when we booked the room it suggested it accommodated 6 people, but there was only bed options for 4 people. No sofa bed etc so our kids had to all share a bed - they offered a roll out bed but at a cost of $80 extra / night. So I would suggest changing the room to “sleeps 4 people” with option of roll away so people are aware to budget for this requirement.

Otherwise, fabulous hotel and we will be back

After booking a double room we were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment which was amazing! Very spacious with a full equipped kitchen, separate dining area with seating for six and a generous lounge area. The main bedroom has a king bed and ensuite while the second bedroom has two single beds and another separate bathroom.
The buffet breakfast is lovely with plenty of choice. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the light rail, buses and Town Hall trains. There are plenty of cafes, hotels and bars to choose from and it is close to shops and major Sydney attractions. It is fast becoming our favourite hotel!

Location was good near Darling Harbour. Hotel was a bit worn with some mould in our Bathroom. Pool was cold on one of the days and spa was out of order both days which was disappointing. Most upsetting was we booked for 2 adults and 1 child but did not receive a bed for the child. When we questioned the hotel they said we had to use existing bedfing or pay $80 per day for a roll away. They gsve us a sheet and blanket and child had to sleep on couch. Disappointing when you put in the search accommodation for 2 adults and 1 child.

We enjoyed our week long stay at Rydges. The room was comfortable and quiet on the 5th floor. We had a large unit of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The front desk staff was very helpful as well. Something that was surprising to us was the area is a real hot spot for teens and younger people on Friday and Saturday nights. The streets were very crowded. I thought there was an event or concert, but no they said it was normal. Sunday through Thursday was more what I expected for a downtown area. It was easy to walk to many attractions we wanted to see. We did not have a car. It does not look like there is any parking but they might have a back entrance somewhere. Places to eat are everywhere. A few things I would suggest would be for the kitchen. There is no dishwasher so we had to hand wash dishes. Also, a toaster would be nice. There is a microwave but no stove or oven. Since we ate out mostly, these didn't really matter. We would definitely stay here again.

In my hotel room, 10:30am, walk out of the shower, ready for 11am check out. A staff knock on my door and then walked right in. Not enough time for me to step to the door and answer. She caught me in the middle of putting on clothes. Instead of apology, she ask if I had a late check-out arrangement!? Not sure how was her day, but not a nice start for me. Please ask staff to count to 10, if they are capable.

Suprised how central the location was. Very close to Darling Quarter, Darling Harbour, World Square and Haymarket. Bathrooms are newly renovated.

We had breakfast buffet. It was good for 2 days but after that food was very repetitive and my family got sick of it. Please alternative food. Everything same like egg scramble, waffles, chicken sausage same every day including fruits and yogurt.

Shower head kept falling off the wall whilst having a shower.

The AC in the room was broken since checking in. We've asked the reception to fix it. They said they'd send someone to fix it, but they never did. It was so hot throughout the stay and we couldn't sleep much.

One of the lists were under maintenance the entire time, and had to go up and down the stairs multiple times.

Good stay, second tiome been here, pls note I am in a superior room, so can only comment on that. Well located, my room quiet with modified \"double glazing\" noise seals. My room huge. Brekky incl for me which was very adequate (i don't eat much).

Just be aware there is much confusion between Rydges World Square (been there for ages) and rydges Darling Harbour apartments (name change recently). The other one is on same Liverpool street 400 yards away. This hotel now has Rydges sign outside and the google pic finally changed, but taxis and limos still go to wrong one.

minor annoyance. Bit of a slow-moving staff member would not believe anyone, that the night door was not working. It appears the staff release switch is hidden in some weirdo position as it takes ages to get her to open the damn thing, then she blames the customer for \"doing it wrong\". I may have finally convinced her, but really if she took the effort to roll out the front and check it, t'would be resolved quickly.

I am guessing the door glass will be broken soon as other men were doing what I was doing . Rattling it harder and harder as noone appears , or ignores you ringing the bell.

We stayed in the Superior Studio was very roomy and had a balcony that we used a bit. Nice modern decor. Hotel is so central to George St where the tram runs down to Circular Square & town hall where the train station is. Also 5 min walk to Darling harbour. Reception and staff all good and friendly. The accommodation was large but quite poorly stocked. Only one chair to use as a dining chair and this was an 'office chair'. The did when requested provide another chair. No cooking pots were in the accommodation. Requested a non slip shower mat - not available. This is definitely not the place to stay if you want to self cater. Very noisy from large extractor fans outside windows. Definitely disappointing.

The apartment was very dated, it was like housing commission met motel. The plumbing in both bathrooms has a problem, the smell was so bad we had to keep the doors closed as it seeped into the rest of the unit. Small inconveniences like no working power point in the ensuite, no room information to show there were dining options or check out times etc, no parking, all made this over priced stay extremely disappointing.

Property was in the perfect location for what we required access to. With the kitchen in our unit, we were able to make breakfast and coffee daily without the need to ventuee out ir use the buffet restaurant (saving us some $$$). However, a toaster would have been a perfect addition to the kettle. The pool and spa had great opening hours, a perfect way to start or end the day. However, it appeared that the pool area wasnt regularly cleaned (we stayed 4 nights and the same bloody tissues sat at the pool side for the duration of our stay), so a little off putting. Although one of the elevators was out of order (clearly sign posted), it just meant a few extra minute's waiting was required or access via the stairway. Staff were friendly and helpful, and stored our luggae away upon check out as we had a late night flight, allowing us to freely explore the city on our last day. Overall, a great place to stay, with comfortable beds and a clean room. Would not hesitate to stay again for future visits.
