Right in the middle of Chinatown, plenty of shops and restaurants. Although the hotel has a variety of daily meals,some as a discount. I got a 350g steak with plenty of chips and a scooner of lager for 25 Aussie dollars which is about £12. A good hotel for its price range.

The room looks nothing like the pictures. It’s much older and not renovated. If you don’t mind the shower going from scalding hot to ice cold every 20 seconds then it might have gone up another 1-2 stars. The room was the size of a shoe box for 2 people in a double twin room where we had to step over each others things/taking turns walking around. The location is the only perk as it’s right across from Haymarket and Central station. Will look elsewhere in the future

The room was incredibly disappointing. Small, dark and very depressing. The carpets in the corridors leading to the rooms were very old and tired with some form of white spillage/treatment stain(?) at frequent spots.

The staff both front office and kitchen were fantastic. The girls surprised us with a welcome package for our 51st Anniversary. The kitchen staff were helpful at breakfast and Greek flavour for dinner was excellent.

You are the first place I've stayed where the warm climate is taken into account.
