The Size of the room and location was great. Also had great facilities.

Only reason it's not 5 stars is the kitchen did not have some basic kitchen ware for cooking etc. and the rooms could have been cleaner

The room was clean and staff were courteous. I think the mini kitchens could be better supplied with a couple of more plates bowls etc. In fact we only had three side plates, not four. Plus a bit more cutlery. Also the one saucepan had a concave bottom so that it did not pick the heat up properly. Two saucepans would be appropriate rather than one plus two egg cups. And even a cheap weighing machine. Stove, oven, fridge were excellent as were the washing and drying facilities. So a little bit of money would help. The showers are pretty well at the end of their lives!

The hotel manager was incredible, extremely accommodating on my arrival after a long haul flight. Probably the best stay I've had in Sydney (and I stay every month for work). The pool was the perfect oasis to recover over the weekend. Looking forward to my next stay here. The local bars and restaurants are all wonderful too, very lucky to have such an excellent wine and cheese bar & bakery connected to the building. Apartment was spacious and clean, perfectly set up.

My favorite new hotel

Wow! This hotel is amazing, I stay in Sydney a lot on buissness and this is by far the best hotel. The room was huge and had a fully fitted kitchen which is so helpful when staying away. I also loved that it had a gym and stunning pool. The service was amazing. Lara really helped me out with some small favors with my room. Can’t recommend it enough.

This motel is in a great position! There are SO many restaurants, bars and grocery stores close by you are really spoilt for choice!
Cleanliness was not great. The bathroom definitely needed a deep clean and some tlc. The bed was comfy, we did need to ask for blankets after the first night as there were no spare pillows or blankets in the rooms.
The kitchen was adequately equiped.
Hyde park was about 20 mi utes walk, circular quay about 40 minutes, but trains and light rail were close by.
Overall, loved our stay there and would return.

Well located, close to terrific food and dining options, and transport. On a main street, so did have the usual big city street noises. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and the beds were very comfortable, Unfortunately the unit was fairly dirty, the windows hadn't been cleaned in a while, there was grime around the tapware. Clean enough but could definitely have been better. We would stay again, and if we did we would ask for a unit on the side away from the street, to be more quiet.

I was travelling solo on this trip and very well looked after by the team at Adina at Surryhills. Special thanks to Joel for arranging such a lovely room.The apartment with roof terrace was very comfortable and had stunning views of the city skyline and every amenity you could need including very comfortable garden furniture. The property is conveniently situated to walk into the city centre ( 20 mins walk or public transport closeby) and there is a good selection of shops, cafes and restaurants on the doorstep. The gardens are beautifully kept and there is a pool & gym for guests.
The spacious apartment was well air-conditioned and the washer/ dryer and fully equipped kitchen are useful.
The housekeeping team serviced the apartment daily and milk, tea, coffee etc are provided. Thanks again for a very enjoyable stay.

The hot water basin tap in bathroom didn’t work.
Was also quite noisy at night as we were on the street side of the apartment.

A delightful hotel let down by dreadful showers.

I like the hotel. It is in a fun area. And I liked my bedroom and sitting room plus kitchenette. I did not like the shower over the bath which was the worst shower I have encountered here or in the UK. Australia is meant to have decent showers. Simply not good enough.

From check-in to check-out was seamless and easy.
Staff were lovely and helpful.
The 2br apartment was clean, spacious, updated, well equipped and extremely comfortable.
We were able to cook a family meal with no problems.
The local area was a great location, though parking can be tricky.
There is no in house streaming services on the TV (smart TV) however, that was not a problem.
There were two well equipped and ample sized bathrooms.

This price was similar to the Wollongong Serviced Apartments, however there is no comparable quality. The Adina Apartments in Surrey Hills outshines in every single way.

Very nice well maintained property with thought through amenities and great customer service. I would definitely stay with them again and recommend to anyone. A lot of dinning options around, easy access to public transportation, groceries near by, green, quiet ( except for parrots chirping 😁), walkable distance to the city centre.

Fabulous location with fabulous staff but felt that the property / our room could do with a refresh - hallways were dark and had an unpleasant smell which detracted from overall ambiance. Room amenities could’ve been improved (no hangers in wardrobes). That said, the room rate was excellent for a fabulous location in Surrey Hills.

There was a bit of a weird smell in the apartment. It wasn’t terrible, and I got used to it pretty quickly, but it was unexpected and did lower my first impression. The shower screen was uncomfortably tight to get into the shower. I’m not a small person, but I was certainly a long way from being the largest of the guests. There were no major problems, however these small things were unexpected and disappointing. Otherwise the staff were outstanding and every other impression I had of the hotel was excellent, I would definitely book with Adina again.

Homely Apartment Hotel

We had a comfortable 4 days staying at the Adina Apartment Hotel. The hotel is well located in Surrey Hills. It has a gym and a swimming pool in the garden at the back of the hotel. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars and 2 major supermarkets located within a short walking distance from the hotel. The Central Railway Station is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Chinatown, Paddy's Market and Haymarket are about 15 minutes walk and Darling Harbour about 25 minutes.
The 2 bedroom apartment that we stayed in was spacious and clean. It had a well equipped kitchen and an adequate laundry alcove with a top loading washing machine and a dryer located above it. Each bedroom had a bathroom next to it.

Great place to stay

Everything about the room and the venue were great and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. My only comments relate to a couple of issues in the room, they being the shower rose in one if the bathrooms wouldn't stay up and the door into the laundry facilities was off the runner and very difficult to open. However after mentioning these to the staff we were assured that all rooms are being 'seen to' on a one by one basis and all issues such as these are being fixed. The compendium also needs to be updated to reflect that mini bar items are no longer available from reception. Again though, on mentioning this to the staff I was assured that this is going to be rectified.

The Terrace apartment has a lovely view of the city. The shower over the bath doesn’t have the greatest water pressure given the water still streams out of the bath tap. The apartment is a great size. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the city but not right in the Centre. Close walk to Central station (approximately 700m from memory). The beds are comfortable. The desk in the main bedroom is an odd choice as it takes up a corner space which makes walking around the bed tricky.

2BR Room we stayed was generic decor but spacious and comfortable. Location great in middle of busy Crown St. I am a regular stayer and I can’t believe the small TVs are original 10 plus years old plasma without access to any Smart Apps such as Netflix etc. Easy fix to spend $100 on Hubble or Apple TV. Well maintained but needs a little money spent. Still recommend..

The two bedroom apartment we had booked two months in advance was not available, so we were given two one bedroom apartments instead. This was not ideal as a family travelling together. No compensation was offered, and we were only notified the day prior to our booking so we did not have a lot of choice. Getting into the car park was a debacle, and when we arrived at check in time our rooms weren’t ready. The apartments themselves are very nice, but the management seems quite disorganised. We have stayed at many Adina properties over many years and this was the worst experience we have ever had.
