I just adored this place. The decor was lovely and a lithle retro . It smelled great.
Very handy to have kitchen and laundry.

The property is becoming a little run down but the staff are friendly and the place is very clean. For the price and location it's pretty good value. Would love to see the bathrooms updated especially the windows and window sills which are in terrible condition with peeling paint, water damage and mould. Water pressure needs to be improved also as it is very poor.

This was a great apartment to stay for a family. The apartment was large and comfortable and we loved the look of it too! Staff were friendly and helpful and free parking was a bonus. Easy to get to the city on the train (about a 10 min walk to the station). It was very quiet at night and we slept really well.

The apartment was close to Redfern station for transfers to the CBD

The staff at Adina were outstanding, incredibly friendly and accommodating. We booked our apartment last minute and our room was organised very quickly for our needs. The shared pool and lounging area is quite Baliesque. Very modern 50’s vibe, very clean, and again, the staff were amazing. Quiet area of Sydney, but close enough to shopping, restaurants, Victoria Park, all by foot. Definitely recommend, particularly for families.

Adina Chippendale was perfect for our family of three. Parking was easily organised. The room was spacious with a full kitchen and laundry in a tidy apartment. Modern furnishings and comfortable beds. Walkable to local pubs cafes etc. We didn't use it but there is an order in service with delivery from local restaurants available also.

Hidden gem

Excellent location for visiting your kids at the University, fabulous apartments, very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, functional. A great base for a city holiday in Sydney. Excellent coffee and cafes all within walking distance, one right next door! Quiet and peaceful location yet so close to town. Easy Uber pick ups from right outside the door.

Absolutely perfect!
Myself and the two teenage grandsons stayed three nights and we all loved it.
They had a great time in the pool and with the lawn games.
The whole staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly.
The apartment was spotless and comfortable.
Close to everything…transport, city, cafes, restaurants, shopping.

We stayed here while construction work was happening at home. Very pleased with our choice. Location was great - nearish Redfern station and also Parramatta Rd buses. Walk to Glebe restaurants and Brewdog both around 10 minutes. Checkin quick and painless. Room was clean and delivered what was promised. We worked from the room on Friday. Internet a little spotty and lost the odd Teams call. Loved the coffee pod machine.
Couldn’t have asked for much more.

From the warm and very obliging welcome to the cleanliness and features of our room, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Adina Chippendale. My one little quibble is that our room was positioned directly above the cafe, which meant some coffee prep noise traveled to our room, but this wasn’t as obvious on the Saturday as it was the day before. A great location; we’d stay there again.

This is one of the best hotels/apartments I’ve stayed in in a very long time.

From start to finish the experience was superior. The staff were incredibly helpful (even getting a random house alarm turned off in the street!!) and the apartment was so clean and bright and modern.

The natural light made being here feel like I was on holiday (when I was actually working).

I loved it. I look forward to being back soon.

We loved our 2 bedroom apartment, it was so beautifully decorated and had all of the amenities that you could need for a short or long stay. We loved the full kitchen and the lovely bathtub, and the natural light in the main bedroom from the two balconies was wonderful. We were only sad that it was a bit too cold to go in the pool!

Adina was a perfect location for accessing the city and the universities. Lots of great cafes, restaurants and supermarkets for variety. There is an excellent cafe 'Terra Cotta' on the corner - food was delicious and coffee excellent. The complex itself was very stylish, everything you need for a short stay. Importantly the pillows and beds were very comfortable. I consider myself to be particular as to where I stay when away from home. Adina ticked all the boxes and we will certainly return. A great find.

Comfort, convenience plus cafe

1-bed apartment was bright, comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated. Lovely little cafe on the corner of the hotel. Hotel is in the backstreets, but in a convenient location within walking distance of Redfern Station and restaurants in Central Park, Surry Hills & Newtown. Parking is available in the garage at a modest price. Will definitely stay here again.

We did have to carry our bags up 2 flights of stairs. The streets nearby are narrow and the parking is tight, though we do have a prado. Happy that clearance was 2.05, unlike many places in Sydney.

Home away from home

We were thankful that our room was ready when we landed early and arrived at 7:30am. It was such a welcome and relief because we were not able to sleep on board the whole flight. We thought we could only check in at 3pm. The room was so clean and comfortable. It felt very homely.

Won’t be staying again.

They have very few paid car spots and we couldn’t get one so I had to park the car in 1 hour parking and move it around.
The TV’s had a welcome message on them. Problem is they all turned back in at 1:15 with the same message and woke us all up.
The pool is open from 6am. Waking up early to screaming kids playing in the pool is not ideal.
Overall… I would not stay here again.
