The room was very large but a bit outdated. The room was heated but not the bathroom. Overall service was not even with some staff nice and helpful other not so much. Also tour salesperson at the hotel refused to take credit cards for even the most expensive tours, like Machu Picchu

The location is ideal, about 10 mins from Plaza Armas. The rooms were spacious and very powerful showers. The only cons were breakfast was very limited and lot of noise at night from traffic if your room was facing street. But overall very good.

A Hidden Gem

Super friendly and accomodating staff. Offered coca tea upon arrival. Room near the front desk a bit noisy at times but not the fault of the staff. Older building but tons of character and charm. Lovely central courtyard. Served a great breakfast. Stored our extra backpacks while we hiked Machu Pichu. Helped us find a laundry service! Great location within walking distance of the square and many shopping orrestaurant choices. I would stay here again.

Overall great for the price. Online we paid a lot less than the cost at the hotel. Ay the hotel it is $85 dollars for a single. The staff is friendly, and helpful. They charge 8 soles per kilo for laundry. They did all our laundry, and ironed everything.

Nice hotel close to city centre

We just finished a two week stay at this hotel. Angel has great English and is very warm and welcoming. He helped us organize taxis and trips. Breakfast is included- eggs, toast, jam, cereal, ham, cheese, crackers, juice, coffee and tea. Nice hotel showers and clean rooms. 10 minute walk to the main square ( plaza de Armas).

friendly and professional staff, close to down town center, good free breakfast, great site for taxi and tour buses to pick up and drop off, rooms clean and beds comfortable. Don't know how loud it would be if all rooms filled since we were there when only 3-4 room filled with adults.

It was a wonderful stay. The person check us in was very helpful, it was nice that he speak English. Hostel was very clean, the only con i have, is how I couldnt get internet in the room. Otherwise our stay was good. He give us information on how to get to MachuPicchu and information about Cusco.

Great staff, but needs work

Check in was quick and easy. Reception helped in booking tours. The lock on the door was ancient and hard to open/close. Breakfast was forgettable. Good location but very noisy.

We found a really little hotel close to the downtown.
The staff was nice and gentle.
Everything was good except the noise traffic starting early in the morning.
The big house is clean and look like a part of the historic town.
We liked the place and We would like to return again.

Good price and excellent service by staff. Staff are responsive and very helpful to various requests and questions. Hotel location is within walking distance to tourist areas. However, although it should be emphasized that everything is in working order, the hotel feels old and worn. This is reflected in the price.

The staff is very nice, polite, the location is perfect.
My only problem was that the entire building needs some updates or remodeling without loosing the old style.
the towels needs to be replaced, some that I used were very old and with a different name on it.
the walls in the bathrooms need more attention and cleaning they have mildew.

The hotel staff were great! The room was okay. There were a few problems. My room was located right next to the stairs and dining area, a little noisy. The toilet was without a seat, which I mentioned, but only received a sorry. The price was good but I would pay more for a little more comfort.

I had a fantastic stay at this Hotel. Amazing staff - they help if you want it, but they don't pester you 24/7 like some hotels do. The bed/room was very clean, wifi was fast and reliable, as was the water pressure and temperature. Such a bargain for the location too!

Home away from home

This is a small, locally owned hotel. It is centrally located. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, with heaters, and with long, hot showers - but nothing fancy. The staff is excellent. Everyone is kind, concerned and willing to help in any way. If and when we go to Cusco again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Budget Prices, Budget Accommodations

We stayed here recently. Their photo on their web site is misleading, it's actually a photo of the fountain in the plaza outside the hotel. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. We had a problem with one of the rooms smelling like propane. The gal could not tell us why there was a propane smell, nor could she figure out who to call to find out. They tried to assure us it was fine. NOT. After insisting to them it was not safe for us to stay at their hotel any longer, they did offer to assist us in finding another hotel.

The place was great, good location, good breakfast, small room but comfortable. The only issue was the windows were not sound proof, so if you are a light sleeper then avoid a room for sure which has windows to the main road, the traffic is endless through the light with horns and engines which can be heard easily from the second floor rooms.

Cheap hotel close to the main tourist area.

This hotel has small rooms that the bed takes up most of and a bathroom with a rather large shower. If you're just looking for a place to crash and get cleaned up after exploring the area, then this is for you. If you plan on spending a large amount of time in your hotel, this isnt for you.

Good place for a short trip!

Service was great. Angel and his colleagues were amazing. The hostel is actually ok, but it was comfortable. You get what you pay for and it was expected. One day- Angel called our room to remind us that breakfast was about to be done. Really appreciate the extra mile of service. Good place to be, especially for a short trip in Cuzco.

Basic but Central

Hotel is very basic, no frills. The rooms are big but very simple. No frills. Bathrooms are stark but water pressure and temperature are perfect. The towels are also very nice. The hotel is very central and easy to get to the Plaza de Armas. Breakfast which was included was very good and had a good variety of breads, fresh fruit, juices, eggs, etc.

Staff is great. Very helpful, caring, and smiling. Quick responses. I got a great deal from Expedia. Great hotel for that price. It is inexpensive given the centric and safe location and facilities provided. Try to get a room away from the street as it can be noisy in the night. I had a good time. I can confidently recommend this hotel.

Easy access to tours, old Cusco , near the mercado where you can find great deals on souvenirs. We were picked up for the sacred valley tour at 8am and I highly recommend ! Machupicchu was much earlier (4:30am) but worth the tour!

Great hotel in Cusco

We were welcome upon check in with a briefing of the area with cups of coca tea. The staff spoke very good english and was great at helping us into the city, they show us all the places we can visit, like restaurants, sights, etc. The rooms are quaint but very clean and comfortable. We stay only two nights in La Casona de Rimacpampa, but it was the best stay we ever had. Highly recommended!

Worst experience ever.

I requested that we have a late check-in and was told that was fine. However once we checked in, at about 9:30pm, we were told very rudely that they were relocating us to another part of the city. We picked that specific hotel for the location, and we had just PAID for a taxi from the main Plaza to get to this hotel and then had to take a taxi back to WHERE WE HAD JUST BEEN. No notification, no warning, everyone was rude, no hot water, no wifi (which was specified and which was needed for our flight the next day) and it was all around the worst part of our trip. I wish we had never found this hotel, I hope this hotel ceases to exist (as well as it's other location), and when I told the front desk how horrible our experience was she said nothing and just waved us goodbye. NOT TO MENTION, that once we got to the airport our cab driver demanded payment and another reason for us choosing this hotel was the free airport shuttle. Had to wait 15 minutes for him to get a hold of the hotel. I pray no one else comes to this hotel, at this point it's not about getting my money back, I wish I could erase my memory of this place and that night. Horrible.

Overbooked and no bed

I was not happy at all with the service at this hotel. I arrived and was told there was a problem with their reservation system and the hotel was overbooked. They arranged a room at another of their Hotels..Loreto Boutique hotel suite….near the Plaza de Armas .The room here was newly renovated with comfy bed, fantastic bathroom, super hot water but the service was terrible…. meant to be someone onsite 24 hours and unfortunately not the case. Everytime I went out I had to go back to their other property up the street to get someone to come and unlock the doors to let me in. Would not recommend for the poor service provided.

Hospedaje sencillo pero más que suficiente si lo que se busca es un lugar limpio y una muy buena ducha. El personal es muy atento y siempre está disponible para ayudar.
Si bien el hospedaje es sencillo, la habitación es grande y cómoda.
El colchón estaba un poco vencido pero descansamos muy bien igual.
Los servicios perisfericos que ofrecen son bastante caros. Si no mal recuerdo el desayuno USD15, cuando en cualquier restaurante se paga desde USD 5

Não deveriam oferecer o café da manhã, que é ridículo, uma fatia de presunto, uma de queijo, pão de baixa qualidade.
Os quartos são feitos, o primeiro que me foi oferecido era escuro, com luzes fracas.
Não tinha água quente na torneira do banheiro (quarto 209), e nem luz suficiente para fazer a barba.
Precisa de reforma.

Eu sabia que não ia ser surpreendente por causa do preço, o hotel é bem localizado em Cusco, com bom preço, no primeiro dia a água do chuveiro não esquentou, no dia segunte, esquentou até demais. Roupa de cama média, pois eu sou daquelas que gosto de uma roupa de cama branca e limpinha, não tive um bom sono por causa do barulho da rua, meu quarto era no segundo andar, mas mesmo assim o barulho me atrapalhou, café da manhã OK sem surpresa. Hotel pra quem quer economizar, fiquei menos de 24 horas no hotel, então foi jogo rápido. Se ficasse por mais noite,s escolheria melhor estrutura.

Hotel simples com ótima localização

Hotel simples mas aconchegante, ótimo para descansar, tomar um café da manhã e passear o dia todo.
-Localização: Ótima! Apenas 10 minutos de caminhada da praça das armas (praça principal), ainda conta com restaurantes, lojinhas e mercado na rua do hotel;
-Acomodações: São bem simples, porém para passar a noite e descansar está ok (tivemos um problema com o chuveiro, mais detalhes abaixo);
-Café da manhã: Servido individualmente, sempre tinha pães, manteiga, geléia, suco de laranja ou outra fruta (alguns dias maracujá, outros abacaxi), café e leite, ovos e frutas (geralmente melancia e melão). Simples porém bem preparado;
-Atendimento: Tivemos um problema. A principio o atendimento foi bom, atendentes simpáticos (em espanhol e um pouco de ingles), mas logo no nosso primeiro dia nosso chuveiro parou de funcionar no meio do banho e a recepção nos informou que trocaram a caldeira recentemente mas que já voltaria a funcionar. Depois de um tempo voltou a ter agua, mas não esquentava. Recepção nos disse que no dia seguinte nos reacomodariam em outro quarto, mas isso não aconteceu. No dia seguinte, depois de passear pela cidade, o chuveiro ainda não funcionava. Depois de UMA hora sendo enrolados pela recepção, fizemos um escândalo. Neste momento haviam 2 passageiros chegando que ameaçaram não ficar no hotel se isso não fosse resolvido, e outra hospede desceu e reclamou do mesmo problema no quarto dela. Depois de meia hora o problema foi resolvido, mas a gerência nunca apareceu.

Café da manhã muito bom. Serviço de limpeza todos os dias nos quartos e o que eu mais dei ênfase na estadia foi a água quente. Fiquei em hotéis que o chuveiro tinha água gelada (sério).

部屋は温かいホットシャワー、ヒーターが完備されているので寒いクスコでも快適に過ごせました。清掃も行き届いておりました。スタッフも親切で観光のアドバイスをくれたりしました。ロケーションも5分程度歩けば、中心地に着きました。値段を考慮するとコストパフォーマンスが高いと思いました。

En realidad me gusto mucho el hotel, durante mi estadía fui muy bien atendida, el único inconveniente que le encontré es que el check out debe hacerse a las 10 am cuando en los hoteles en cualquier parte del mundo este debe hacerse mínimo a las 13.00 pm.

Hotel bien placé mais bruyant

Bon accueil personnel attentionné mais le gros défaut de cet hotel est le manque total d'insonorisation .nous avions demandé une chambre au calme côté patio et on nous a donné une chambre côté rue hyper bruyante.le lendemain on nous attribue une chambre patio mais contre des chauffe eau qui se déclenchaient toute la nuit,enfin la 3eme chambre fut correcte.

Hotel simples, porém confortável e limpo. O horário de check-out do hotel do site (13h) estava diferente da política aplicada no hotel (10h). Acabaram cedendo 1 dos 7 quartos reservados para o horário do site, porém, só fizeram isso porque houve um cancelamento e o quarto estava disponível.

Super ubicacion

El hotel es muy comodo, es muy basico, pequeño pero muy limpio y su ubicacion es excelente, esta en el centro de Cuzco y cerca de todas las atracciones historicas, cerca tienen muchas opciones para comer muy rico y economico y la gente es muy muy amable.
